‘The Chosen’ is the first-ever multi-season TV show about the life of Jesus. It is the most successful crowdfunded film project in history.
The actor who plays the role of Jesus in the TV series is Jonathan Roumie. He told the New York Times in 2023 that he doesn’t feel worthy of playing Jesus, but feels he has been divinely guided to do it.
Before he began playing the role, he was a struggling actor in Los Angeles who worked unsuccessfully for eight years to make it in the film industry.
Despite his efforts to become a successful actor he only ended up broke and without even food to eat..
Though Jonathan had been raised in Church, as an adult he had little time for God and followed his own ways.
But after suffering much hardship, Jonathan repented of his rebellion against God.
One day, he knelt down and surrendered his entire life and career to Christ and became born again. Later that same day, something incomprehensible and miraculous happened. Jonathan came back to his apartment and found four checks in the mail from unexpected sources. This money enabled him to move forward in his acting career, but this time he was committed to only seeking and following God’s will for his life.
Three months later, he got called to act in ‘The Chosen.”
Then God began to do incredible things and expand the film series. . By the end of 2023, more than 200 million had seen at least part of the show through the app and streaming platforms and it has been translated into as many as 600 languages.

The truth is that our lives will only find full expression when we are walking in line with God’s purpose.
Trying to find success without bothering to seek divine guidance ultimately ends in frustrations, discontentment and failure. No matter how beautiful our own plans, it is only God’s counsel concerning us that can stand the test of time.
Proverbs 19:21 says ‘There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.’
God’s plan is always superior to ours because God’s thoughts and ways are higher than our own. When it is the Lord doing a thing, it will always be marvelous in our eyes.
To enjoy divine breakthroughs and breaking forth on every side, we must purpose to pay the required price of following God’s plan for us.
You can’t give yourself wholly to divine direction and not experience glory in your story.
Therefore this year, let us commit ourselves to following God’s counsel starting by obeying the great commission to go out and preach the Gospel. Seeking first God’s Kingdom is the master key to everything else we need in life
Today let us make the decision to always seek God’s will through consistent study of the Word, prayers and fellowship with the Spirit. As we do so, certainly we are guaranteed all-round success in all our endeavors

PRAYER: Lord, please grant me the grace to continually wait upon You so as to receive the divine guidance I need to succeed this year and accomplish the great plans You have ordained for my life in Jesus Name..

APRIL 15; TIME TO IMPACT THE WORLD!

2 Timothy 4:1-2 “I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.”

Two days ago, on April 13th, hundreds of drones and missiles from Iran directly targeted Israel. It was the single largest drone attack ever carried out by any country. It was also the first time in history Iran would directly attack Israel from its own territory, though the two nations have been archenemies for almost a half-century.
For decades, Israel and Iran have avoided a direct conflict and fought a shadow war across the Middle East. Iran has largely used foreign proxies such as Lebanon’s Hezbollah militia to strike Israeli interests. While Israel’s own strategy has been the targeted assassinations of Iranian military leaders and nuclear scientists. But on April 13th, the situation escalated as Iran directly attacked Israel. This was in retaliation to the April 1 Israeli strike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus that killed among others, two Iranian Army generals.

Fortunately for Israel, the Iranian strike didn’t do much damage. Over 300 drones and ballistic missiles were successfully intercepted by Israel’s multilayered air-defence system which includes iron Dome, Iron Beam, David’s Sling, Arrow and Patriot.
However, this attack has amplified fears of a larger regional war. In recent times the overall geopolitical situation in the Middle East seems to be growing increasingly more dangerous and is raising concerns that it could eventually lead to World War 3.

There is no doubt that we are living at the end of the Church Age where nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. [Matthew 24:7-8] Jesus called this period the “beginning of sorrows”. The word “sorrows” is the Greek word oodin, and it specifically describes the labor pains of a pregnant woman.
As we approach the end of the Age, the turmoil in the world will become increasingly greater. However, as a people of faith, we must not be troubled by the noises or clamors because we already know how the story ends through the book of Revelations!

What we do at this time is to keep our eyes on the Lord and our minds on His Word. This is also the time to impact our world with the preaching of the Gospel because soul winning is Heaven’s topmost agenda in these end times. Therefore our focus at this time is to live ready and do everything possible to urgently preach the Gospel to men.

Paul told Timothy, “Preach the word, always be ready, in season and out of season”. The Amplified version says, “keep your sense of urgency, whether the opportunity seems favorable or unfavorable”. Proclaiming liberty to the captives in these last days is a burden we each should take personally and channel our time, energy and resources towards its pursuit.
As we stay committed to preaching the word in season and out of season, surely our lives will overflow with Heaven’s choicest blessings, we will enjoy divine exemptions in these perilous times and keep breaking forth to higher grounds.

PRAYER: Lord, I am available to be used to preach Your message of redemption to my generation. I thank You for the grace to live ready and to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel wherever I go in Jesus Name.

The miraculous rescue of Pete Brown and his friends dominated many News outlets in January 2020. They were rescued after being stranded in the middle of the Pacific Ocean for over a week.

On December 20, 2019, Pete Brown with two friends had set sail from Japan to Hawaii. They had hoped to arrive their destination on Christmas day. But along the way, their boat ran into difficulties as a big wave took down their mast. Later that night, they got hit again by waves and their boat rolled.
The situation became scary as the rough sea tipped over their boats and they were upside down. Being Christians, they cried out to God for help and miraculously they were eventually able to get the boat upright again. But the storm had broken their mast and also damaged their communication devices so that they were unable to communicate with the outside world.
When their families could no longer communicate with them, they alerted the US Coast Guard. A search for them with airplanes began, but to no avail. Lost at sea, Pete and his friends held on to God through constant prayers and refused to give up hope.
Pete Brown said during that time, he looked up to the Heavens for peace and comfort, and at night watched the stars and prayed. Finally, after nine days, on December 29, their prayers were answered and they were found and rescued bu a boat that was passing by.
As the men were finally returned to land on January 2, they gave God the glory for their miraculous rescue.

God is always our way-maker and barrier breaker even in the midst of situations that seem impossible.
At the red sea, the children of Israel seemed to have come to the end of their rope! They had their backs against the wall, with pharaoh and his army in hot pursuit. But when they cried out to God, He told them to stand and see His salvation. Anytime we come to waters too high for us, we need to stand still and hope in God’s salvation.
Despite the raging of the sea, God works behind the scenes to make a way of escape. Isaiah 43:2 makes it clear that when we pass through the water and the fire, we are not remaining there, rather we are only going through.
And we will come out on the other side better than when we went in. Despite what may seem like a negative situation, God is working out His higher purpose in your life. He is the Author and finisher of your faith. That means, what He begins in you, He also completes it. He will never leave you nor forsake you as long as your hope and trust is in Him.
This is why you must keep standing in faith. Because faith comes by hearing GoMay Word, there is need to keep filling our hearts continually with the Word, until our actions are dominated and controlled by what God says. No matter, how long you may have been ‘drifting at sea’ in any situation, surely there is an end and your expectations shall not be cut short.
Therefore keep praising God because it is your time to experience a divine break-out from every hindrance and soar to greater levels in destiny.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank you for your continual faithfulness in my life. I praise and bless you because even right now I know you are turning around every situation to my favor, and turning every mourning into dancing for me in Jesus Name.

William Frederick Padwick Burton was an unlikely pioneer of Pentecostal missionary. He enjoyed a privileged childhood. His mother was from the English aristocracy, and his father was well to do.

He attended good schools in England and traveled around the world. While his early life was full of worldly pursuits, through divine grace in his later years he pursued God’s will above all else. After surrendering to Christ in 1905, a definite change took place in William’s life.

He joyfully shared his new found faith and began a lifelong disciplines of studying the Bible and praying.
Few years later, Burton felt God’s call to full-time ministry. He stepped out in faith and, in 1911, began preaching across the English countryside and led numerous people to the Lord.

He later went to serve as a missionary in Congo, where he would spend the rest of his life.
Burton helped to advance the Gospel in Africa. He authored many books and raised many Churches in Congo.

Though he had sacrificed his life of privilege and social status in England to become a Pentecostal preacher, he ultimately gained more as he became one of the greatest missionaries to Africa.

Life is not meant to be spent running after what pleases us, but rather in pursuing what pleases God. How well we follow God’s purpose, not ours, is what matters most in eternity.

Our focus should be on laying up Heavenly treasures rather than earthly treasures. Even the wealthiest men today will one day leave all their wealth behind and depart to give account of their lives to God.

What sense does it then make for a man to spend his entire life pursuing temporary wealth that he will leave behind, while ignoring God’s call which determines his placement in eternity.

Certainly, we need to get our priorities right. What matters most in life is what we do for the promotion and expansion of God’s Kingdom. The truth is, time is fast running out on earth.

We can no longer afford to keep wasting time, running after frivolities and things that lack eternal value. We should leave behind things that do not matter and begin pressing forward, towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus [Philippians 3:13].

Pursuit of earthly treasures and pleasures is temporary, but our investment in eternal treasures will last forever. Certainly, as we seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, every good thing in life shall be added unto us.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for the grace to always maintain a lifestyle of spiritual fervency and tireless pursuit of your calling upon my life in Jesus’ Name.

Oswald Jeffrey Smith was Canada’s most famous pastor in the 20th century. Yet, his success was a result of persistence and refusal to give up in the face of great odds.
Oswald was born a sickly child, his parents and doctors questioned whether he would reach adulthood. He was absent from school on and off, and eventually missed two entire years of school.
At 16 years old, his life changed when he got born again at an evangelistic campaign conducted by the then famed Dr. R. A. Torrey in Massey Hall, Toronto.
Soon after, Oswald felt greatly drawn to the preaching of the Gospel. After his graduation from Bible College, he applied to the Presbyterian missionary Board with the hope to be sent as a missionary to some foreign country.
But his request was turned down by the Board because he did not meet their qualifications. Several other missionary boards turned him down, saying he was too physically frail for the mission field. Though Oswald’s dream seemed shattered and he was full of disappointment, he did not give up.
As he turned to God in prayer, he received a divine idea to build a church which could send out missionaries. In 1928 he founded the People’s Church in Toronto which became Canada’s largest church and was the single largest missionary church in the world for decades, supporting over 400 foreign missionaries. Oswald J. Smith was also an author, songwriter and world-wide evangelist, who impacted many great preachers including Billy Graham to whom he was a mentor.

We must never let people’s opinion or actions determine the outcome of our lives. Someone said life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you take it or react to it. Therefore learn to put disappointing experiences behind you, and forge ahead to become all that God has ordained for you.

What sometimes seems like a disappointment could actually be God positioning you for greater blessings. God superintends our lives so that even setbacks work out for the good of those who trust in Him. No matter how things may initially look, God ‘s grace is able to overturn adversities into your advantage.
When you are a child of God, you can be sure that disappointments will only end up becoming divine appointments for you.
Renewing our minds through God’s Word enables us to trust in Him during tough times and see our situation through the eyes of faith.
Instead of complaining always believe God’s promise that “All things work together for good to those who love God; to them who are called according to His purpose.” The truth is, though we may not always be able to trace the hand of God, we can always trust His heart.
Don’t ever make the critical mistake of thinking that God let you down or didn’t answer your prayer. Rather in all things trust that God’s thoughts towards you are thoughts of peace, never of evil to give you an expected end. God is always good to those that trust in Him and directs their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6)..
As we continue to bless Him at all times, certainly every breakdown shall be converted to our breakthroughs and breaking forth to greater realms.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to remain ever grateful and thankful in every situation, because I know that You are always faithful and You will surely cause all things to work together for my good in Jesus Name.

James Salter was son-in-law to the famous British evangelist Smith Wigglesworth.
In 1915 James Salter embarked on his first journey to Africa to serve as a missionary in the Congo. Though he faced great challenges, he also saw amazing miracles. Within four years, between 1915 and 1919 he almost died from attacks of Malaria and was raised up from his death bed six times.
James and the other missionaries with him also faced a lot of hostility from the native witch-doctors who resisted their preaching of the Gospel.
These evil men often poisoned their water and food and also tried shooting poisoned arrows or bullets at them. God protected the missionaries throughout these attacks.
One day the missionaries were enjoying a delicious plate of palm-nuts that had been brought to them as a present. They had almost finished eating when a young man ran in to warn them the palm-nuts had been poisoned. Since they had already eaten the nuts, the missionaries committed themselves to God, claiming the promise of Mark 16:17-18 which said ‘if they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them”.
Afterwards they felt absolutely no ill effects from the palm-nuts. The man who had poisoned the nuts, after witnessing God’s superior power, surrendered his life to Christ and confessed his evil deeds to the missionaries.

We live in a world today where the preaching of the Gospel is fiercely resisted by the forces of darkness. But despite their attacks, we serve the God who is mighty to save and to deliver us by His awesome power. He is the same God who delivered Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego from the burning fire. He is the God who brought Daniel out of the lions’ den and divided the red sea for Israel to escape from Pharaoh’s pursuit.
Therefore no matter what you may go through, always be assured that you are destined to come out victorious.
It doesn’t matter how the enemy fights against you, God is committed to protecting you. As long as you walk in covenant with Him, God has promised that no evil shall befall you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. His Name is a strong tower that we run into and we are safe.
In these end times, it is vital for us to know how to abide in the covenant of divine protection.
The last days on earth are evil, climatic and perilous. And only the spiritually strong can thrive. We must therefore build up our spiritual depth in Christ.
We are now living in an era where every child of God will have to continually manifest the supernatural in order to survive and thrive.
By God’s grace we will keep triumphing over the forces of the enemy and keep breaking forth to glorious heights of destiny.

PRAYER: Lord, Please help me to become committed to growing spiritually so that I can always overcome the attacks of the enemy . Through faith in Your word, I shall never be a victim of the evil of these endtimes in Jesus Name.

Sam Childers was a former gang biker, alcoholic and drug dealer whose life took a new turn when he got born again.

In 1998, Sam joined a Church mission trip to Sudan to help repair huts damaged in the Second Sudanese Civil War.
While in Sudan, Sam came across the mutilated body of a child killed by a land mine. This experience shattered him, and Sam made a pledge to God to do whatever he could to help the children of Sudan. In spite of war-zone conditions, Sam embarked on a difficult project of building an orphanage near the Ugandan border.

However, one night, a terrorists group known as The Lord’s Resistance Army’ (LRA) attacked his orphanage and burnt it to the ground. After the orphanage was rebuilt, Sam fought the atrocities of the LRA, as he led armed raids to rescue children from them.
He worked in collaboration with the Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) to fight the atrocities of the terrorist group.
Through their operations over 1000 children have been rescued and sheltered in Sam’s orphanage.
In the United States, Sam pastors the church, Shekinah Fellowship Church in Central City, Pennsylvania. Through his ministry, very great impact has been made on the people of South Sudan. Today Sam is internationally celebrated for his efforts in rescuing the children of Sudan.

Despite Sam Childers’ past life as a former drug dealer, by the power in the Blood of Jesus, he was transformed to become a blessing to humanity. No matter how disheveled any destiny may initially appear, through the mystery of the Blood, there can be restoration and divine completeness.

This is why we should never give up on any one we are called to preach the Gospel to. We could never know the potential locked within any soul until it comes into full manifestation.
When a building is under construction, to the untrained eyes, the building can look really messed up. But the architect knows that eventually emerging from the mess is a beautiful structure.
Our architect and Master builder is God. He has designed the blueprint of our lives. And no matter how messed up things may sometimes seem, God is always at work behind the scenes, to unveil His perfect will and plan.

Indeed everyone called of God, is full of amazing potentials. If you do not yet look like it, know that your life is still under construction and God that has begun a good work in you will bring it to perfection. God says we are created after His image and likeness, we are designed to function as He does.
Indeed everyone called of God is born to be great. All we need is to be rightly positioned in Christ and every other thing will fall into place. Just as Sam’s life was dramatically transformed, God is able to turn things around and cause us to become a wonder to our world.

Today, whatever may be hindering your breaking forth into your glorious destiny is destroyed by the power in the Blood of Jesus. By God’s grace every yoke is permanently broken. Indeed by the mystery in the Blood, the glory God has ordained for you in this season, must surely come into full manifestation.

PRAYER: Father I thank You for unlocking the hidden potentials in me and using me to bring deliverance to mankind. By the power in the Blood of Jesus I receive divine strength to boldly proclaim Your Gospel and do mighty works in Your Name in Jesus’ Name.

Brian Philip Welch is an American musician who is a founding member of the nu metal band ‘Korn’.
As a famous musician, Brian had money, houses, cars and was worshipped by his fans.

However, while he outwardly appeared successful, Brian’s life had become a nightmare as he was enslaved to drugs and couldn’t seem to function without getting high. At that time, Brian had a real estate broker who was a Christian. Without knowledge of the depth of Brian’s trauma, this man began to sense a leading to share a particular Scripture with him.

One day, this Estate broker said to Brian, “I felt this Scripture jump out at me. I’ve never done this before…but I felt like this would mean something to you.” The Scripture his real estate broker shared was Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

This word from his broker deeply touched Brian and prompted him to accept an invitation to go to church. At the Church, Brian was so impacted by the preaching that he accepted Jesus as his savour. That day Brian became liberated from his bondage to drugs.

Since then, Brian has been very vocal about his faith and has published several Christian books including his award-winning book ‘Washed in the Blood: Lessons from My Time with Korn and My Journey to Christ.’

We should always obey the prompting of the Spirit to share the Gospel. Oftentimes, we don’t know what people really go through behind the scenes. Though outwardly they may seem to have it all, inwardly their lives may be full of turmoil.

The truth is, no matter how rich or powerful anyone may seem, life will remain a struggle if Christ is not at the center of it all. Life without Christ will always end in crisis because by strength shall no man prevail.

God has designed us to triumph over life’s struggles only through the strength that Christ imparts. The apostle Paul went through shipwreck, beatings almost unto death, imprisonment and other terrible trials in his ministry and yet through Christ, he overcame all his trials.

No matter what trials, troubles or tribulations you may encounter, when you are born of God you will always overcome the world.
In John 16:33, Jesus said, “…in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
Today, while there is much instability and bleakness in the world, those who know their God will keep doing exploits and flourishing even in hard times. As believers In Christ , we are destined to triumph always. Even in the midst of the gross darkness, our paths will only keep shining brighter and brighter until the perfect day.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to preach Your Word in season and out of season. In this season I thank You for using me mightily and empowering me to do exploits for Your kingdom in Jesus Name.

Edward Salazar Mauricio is a prominent pastor in Mexico, whose life is an amazing testimony of the transformation power of the Gospel.
Mauricio was still young when his parents got divorced. Afterwards, he took to selling on the streets and soon joined a street gang and began using illegal drugs.
One day, he got involved in a robbery that resulted in his murdering a person. Though he should have faced the death penalty for the crime, by God’s grace he was sentenced to life imprisonment. While in prison, he viciously attacked Christians who attempted to preach the Gospel to him. But during his frequent trips to solitary confinement, he found the Bible was the only available book there. So he often read it to pass the time. Slowly God’s Word began to penetrate his heart.Years later, in 1978, he attended a prison evangelistic meeting for the first time, where a minister preached on Saul of Tarsus persecuting Christians and about his subsequent conversion. After leaving the meeting Mauricio went to his prison cell, got on his knees, and asked God to forgive Him and surrendered his life to Christ. Soon he received a big miracle when four years later, he got a reprieve. He was paroled and soon released. Thereafter, he became a committed Christian, who eventually became a minister of the Gospel, preaching in many nations of the world today.

For a murderer to turn into a missionary is indeed proof of the transformation power of the Gospel.
The entrance of God’s Word gives light that can shatter the hold of darkness in anyone’s life.
On the road to Damascus, the life of Saul the murderer was completely and forever changed by his encounter with the light of Christ.
A genuine encounter with the light of God’s Word will always bring deliverance and positive transformations.
Jesus is the light of the world. John 1:4-5 says ‘ In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.’
No force of darkness can overcome or resist the light of God’s Word.
If perhaps you have been trying to reach out someone who seems unresponsive to the Gospel, keep speaking the Word to them. Soon the power in God’s Word will begin in them a transformation process.
If you are faced with any negative condition keep releasing the Word into that situation. Gradually a positive change will begin to take place. It is only a matter of time before there comes a tipping point and things will suddenly turn around for good. The Word of God is self-anointed with the power to transform anything and anyone..
Today, let us receive the grace to never become weary in engaging God’s Word for any desired transformation.
Surely, if we faint not, in due season we shall reap our miracles of deliverance, healings, breakthroughs, signs and wonders.

PRAYER: Lord, please enable me to meditate constantly on Your Word so that I can receive the grace to be steadfast in Faith and not grow weary until I receive my desired miracles and positive transformations in Jesus Name..

On Monday 9 December 2019, at about 2:15pm, there was a volcanic eruption at a popular tourist site called White Island, just off New Zealand’s coastline.
But before the disaster, geologists had given several warnings about it. Yet, despite the warnings tourists continued to visit the island until the volcanic eruption that killed several people, leaving others hospitalized with severe burns. Many of those killed and injured were Australian tourists who had been traveling aboard the Royal Caribbean cruise ship. About 47 tourists had been climbing deep inside the crater of the volcano when the eruption occurred, blasting huge plumes of smoke and debris 12,000 kilometres into the sky.
After the tragedy, many people questioned why tourists would still be visiting the island after the warning of scientists. In fact since 2011 the volcano had been showing increased activity, causing scientists to refuse to step foot on the island. Instead they had conducted all their observation operations with drones and aircraft. In a video filmed in 2013, one scientist said: ‘How important is it to collect the data? Is it worth losing my life?’ And yet despite the scientists’ warnings, tourists ignored them and continued to arrive daily in boatloads to the island until the tragedy struck.

One may quickly blame these tourists for ignoring clear warnings, but spiritually that is also the state of many people in the world today. For many years now there has been Biblical prophesies and warnings about the end of the world, but people keep ignoring these warnings and keep walking right into the mouth of the volcano.
But if ever there was a time to heed Biblical warnings and get prepared, it is now! The truth is that the world has entered the fearful end-time years that are the grand climax of human civilization. The Bible gave several warnings about these end-times, alerting us to watch and pray.(Luke 21:36).
Prayer sharpens our spiritual sensitivity and keeps us vigilant and watchful.
“Watch,” is the translation of one of two Greek words (gregoreuo and agrupneo), which have similar meanings—to “stay awake” and to “be sleepless.”
Indeed we must urgently wake up from every spiritual slumber and watch! As end-time signs rapidly unfold around us, we can no longer afford to be spiritually numb or keep ignoring Biblical warnings.
We must therefore be on guard, fully awake, aware, alert and intently focused. Watching also means properly using our minds. We must put our minds to proper use through careful study of scriptures. The more our minds focus on God’s Word the more alert and sensitive we will become to the times and seasons. As we heed divine warnings we will always escape the enemy’s plots and live in dominion and victory.

PRAYER: Father please enable me to heed Biblical warnings of these end-times through becoming spiritually alert. Please grant me the grace to constantly watch and pray and follow the leadings of Your Spirit in Jesus Name.
