JULY 20; GUIDED TO YOUR PREPARED PLACE..

Exodus 23:20 ‘Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.’

DAILY READING; • James 3; Jeremiah 25-26; Psalm 131

The Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International (FGBMFI) was founded in 1951 in Los Angeles by Demos Shakarian.
Demos Shakarian believed that God was calling him to begin something new–bringing men together in hotels or restaurants to hear the Gospel and testimonies of other business men.
However his vision had a difficult beginning. Though a sizeable number of men turned up for the first meetings, but rather than grow, the attendance only diminished.
After fourteen months of meetings, thousands of miles of travel, phone calls, letters, “free breakfast” ads to entice men to attend, and a lot of efforts and energy, the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship seemed dead.
Frustrated by his failure, on Friday, December 26th 1952, Demos decided to finally close down the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship by the next morning.
However before closing it, that night, he went before God in prayer. While on his knees, he had a divine encounter where God showed him that he was failing because he was not pursuing God’s divine purpose for the fellowship.
That night, Demos repented and wholly submitted to God’s leadership and guidance.
Surprisingly, the very next morning, a friend, who only a week ago had advised Demos to end FGBMFI, presented him with a huge cheque for the work. This friend told Demos that early that morning God had told him the fellowship would go around the world and that he was to donate the first money. Demos was in shock because for more than a year, all his efforts had not produced a single donation.
Then another man approached him and said God had asked him to make his printing press available to Demos for the work. This led to the beginning of the VOICE magazine which became a global tool of evangelism for the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship.
Just one day earlier, it had seemed clear that the Fellowship was finished, but as Demos handed full control over to God, a new thing began.
This miraculous turnaround eventually led to FGBMF spreading all over the world. And today it is a global force for the Gospel which is transforming many lives for Christ.

Indeed it takes God to execute every divine plan.
The reason for frustrations and stagnation in any pursuit is the attempt to execute a divine strategy with human energy.
We do not succeed by power or might, but only by the power of the Spirit.
To wander out of the course God has charted to pursue our own ways only leads to failure and a miserable life.
In our ministry, business, career, education, family, relationships etc, things will only work smoothly when God’s plan is followed.
Our progress in life depends on our obedience to God’s counsel. While there may be many thoughts in a man’s heart, only the counsel of the Lord shall stand. Only the Lord’s doing will be marvelous in our eyes and only that which He does abides forever.
Therefore in all our pursuits, we need to step back and let God take the lead. He is faithful to accomplish what He has said He would do.
1 Thessalonians 5:24 says ‘Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.’

Our careful planning, well-structured, meticulous organizing and financial investments mean nothing if God is not engaged in our pursuits.
It is His help and guidance that terminates frustration on our journey. When you are guided you cannot be grounded. When the Lord is your Shepherd, you shall not want and He will lead you to your green pastures.
Therefore the greatest asset in a believer’s life is engaging Divine presence, which is our guarantee of divine security and victory in the journey of destiny.

Psalm 114:3-8 tells us that during Israel’s journey to the promised land, it was God’s Presence that destroyed all obstacles on their path. The sea saw them and fled, Jordan was driven back, the mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.

Indeed no force can stop or hinder a man who is being led by God. In Exodus 23:20, God says He will send His angel to keep us in the way, and to bring us into the place which He has prepared for us.
Certainly, there is a prepared place for us this year, but it will take divine grace and guidance to get there.
Therefore to successfully pursue God’s wonder agenda for us, we need to spiritually set ourselves to receive divine instructions.. This we do through taking the time to pray, fast, worship, praise, study the Word and listen to the Lord.
As we hear and obey what He is saying to us, surely every stagnation will be terminated and we will only experience miracles, signs and wonders in all our endeavors.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for Your divine guidance in my life. Please grant me the grace to always seek Your will in all my endeavors. I praise You for all Your doings in my life for I know that You are indeed turning me into a wonder to all in Jesus’ Name.

DAILY READING; James 2; Jeremiah 23-24; Psalm 130

In 1994, Rwanda was a failed state by any measure.
After 100 days of genocide, about 800,000 Tutsis had been killed and about a million children were orphaned. By the time Paul Kagame, leader of the Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF) defeated the genocidal regime and took over power, the country was in devastation, the coffers had been looted and the economy was almost at a zero stage. Rwanda could be likened to the valley of dry bones as the bones of the dead filled the land.
Paul Kagame inherited a country that had been so torn apart, that even the most optimistic of analysts doubted Kagame’s chances of ever rebuilding Rwanda.
However, as the new Rwandan government worked towards the reconstruction of the country, in 2003, President Paul Kagame came across a book that changed everything for him.
He was visiting a longtime friend in Chicago, when he came across Pastor Rick Warren’s book “The Purpose Driven Life”.
After reading the book, Paul Kagame was very moved and reached out to Pastor Rick warren to help make Rwanda the first Purpose Driven nation.

Coincidentally at the same time in 2003, Pastor Rick Warren was in South Africa, initiating what he called the PEACE Plan, which stands for—Planting Churches that Promote Reconciliation, Equip Servant Leaders, Assist the Poor, Care For the Sick, and Educate the Next Generation.

On receiving President Paul Kagame’s invitation, Pastor Rick Warren looked on to God for the wisdom to make Rwanda the first national model of The PEACE Plan. At that time he didn’t know how that could be achieved but he had great faith in God’s Word and His divine ability.
Paul Kagame made Pastor Rick Warren a member of his Presidential Advisory Council and through the combined efforts of the government and people of Rwandan, today, the once devastated nation has become a global “model and miracle” of development.
The country is stable, prosperous and unified. The nation has risen to become one of the fastest growing economies in Africa and an economic model for the developing world.

In Ezekiel 37, God took Ezekiel to the valley of dry bones and asked him “Son of man, can these bones live?’
When Ezekiel acknowledged God’s sovereignty and ability to do anything, the spirit of God came upon him. And as he started prophesying the dead bones came back to life.
Truly when we acknowledge God’s sovereignty, there is no dead situation He cannot bring back to life.
Even in situations that seem impossible in the natural, when you bring God into that situation, there will be a miraculous resurrection and restoration.
When men turn their hearts to God, then God turns His hands to help. Miracles are not magic but God’s response to the invitation of men’s hearts.

Indeed God is able to resurrect any dead situation when you connect to His divine help.
Even if negative circumstances of life seem to have knocked you down, as you connect to God’s divine assistance you will rise again.

Micah 7:8-9 says ‘Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me..’

Certainly no negative condition can rejoice over you, when God is your helper. With God on your side, no sickness, no setback, no injustice, no person, no hater, no jealousy can hinder you. Indeed, all the forces of darkness cannot stop you when you connect to divine help.
Though you may sometimes go through the valley in your health, finances, relationships, it is only a temporary place. Though you may pass through the valley, you are only on your way to the mountain top.

Indeed the valley of dryness is not your final destination.
Though you may have gone through the fire and the water, you are about to come out into a wealthy place. Your story will not end in sickness, trouble, lack or want. Your story is destined to end in praise. Certainly, your latter days will be better and greater than your former days.
Indeed we serve the God of miraculous restoration. And He has good plans to promote us, to heal us, to restore us and to show us favor.
But never forget that the key to restoration is faith.
Indeed faith is the victory that overcomes the world. All the good things God has for you will only be activated when you believe. And to have faith you must commit to in-depth study of God’s Word.
Therefore today, let us keep faith alive through diligent pursuit of God’s Word. And no matter what you may have been through, in this season, God will so restore you that you will come out stronger, increased, promoted and better than ever before.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for granting me the grace and strength to get up and arise out of every situation trying to keep me down. As I study Your Word I receive the faith to believe You for amazing miracles of divine restoration in this season in Jesus Name.

JULY 18; LOVE OF THE FATHER…

Luke 15:22-24 ‘But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.’

DAILY READING James 1; Jeremiah 21-22; Psalm 129

One of the most important moments in Jewish history is the 587 BC Siege of Jerusalem. It changed Jewish history forever.

Due to the disobedience of the Jews, God prophesied through Jeremiah that the people would be carried captive into Babylon where they would serve king Nebuchadnezzar for 70 years, then after that He would bring restoration to them.
The historical account of events unfolded exactly as God had said.
Nebuchadnezzar came and not only conquered Jerusalem, but virtually destroyed the city. The Temple of Solomon was raided and burnt to the ground in a fire that lasted for days.
The Jews were taken captive and sent into exile to Babylon, a land of idolatry.

During these 70 years of captivity, Daniel began to pray to God asking for forgiveness for his people [Daniel 9].
In answer God brought fulfillment to His word and began by destroying their captors.
Now the destruction of Babylon could not have been humanly predicted because Babylon at that time, was the crown jewel of the Assyrian empire. It was the epitome of religion and culture in the ancient middle east and was seemingly indestructible.
But according to history, King Cyrus of Persia attacked Babylon and the great city of Babylon fell suddenly in one night [Jeremiah 51: 8].
After Cyrus had destroyed Babylon, he freed the Jews to go back to their homeland. This happened 70 years after their captivity, just as God had prophesied through Jeremiah.
King Cyrus also restored to them the treasures that Nebuchadnezzar had taken from the Jewish temple when he destroyed Jerusalem. Thus the people had enough wealth as they left back to their homeland to rebuild the temple.

It was when the children of Israel repented and turned back to God, that He brought deliverance and restoration to them.
Indeed God is full of love and mercy. Whenever we stray He is ever ready to receive us back. When we understand the love of the Father instead of running from Him when we sin, we should rather run to Him. He is ever ready to forgive and to restore us back, as long as we return back to him. God desires that we turn back from rebelling against His Word and walk in obedience to His will, so that He can judge the things afflicting us.

2 Corinthians 10:6 says ‘God is in readiness to revenge all disobedience when our obedience is fulfilled’

It is indeed God’s desire to restore us to His destined place of glory once we can retrace our steps back to Him.
After wasting and squandering all his inheritance, the Prodigal Son returned home, broke and a mess. All he wanted was to be received as a servant by his father. But the moment he asked for forgiveness, his father called for the best robe, the fattest cow, the best shoes, and a ring of authority and restored him to his rightful place as his son.
Likewise, the moment you can return back to the Father, no matter what you may have lost in life, God will restore you back.
If you come under His corrective hand through disobedience, if you repent, He will reinstate you to a place of blessing.
Even the wasted years, God will restore back to you.
The only thing that separates men from experiencing God’s best is disobedience. God has said that when we obey Him we will spend our days in prosperity and pleasure.
The consequence of disobedience is man suffers losses in his health, finances, relationships and in every other area of life.
Indeed sin is a separator between man and God.
Isaiah 51:9 says ‘Behold The Lord’s hand is not shortened that He cannot save neither His ear heavy that it cannot hear but your iniquities have separated between you and your God..’

Truly two cannot walk together except they be agreed.
Therefore today, let us make the decision to truly and fully return back to God and begin to live in obedience to His every Word. By The Help of the Holy Spirit let us receive the grace to live a life totally pleasing to God. As we do, God will not only restore us, but He will also arise to destroy every enemy of our lives.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to constantly live a life that glorifies You in every way. Thank You Lord, for granting me the grace to get rid of anything displeasing to you in my life so that I can experience my long awaited deliverance in Jesus Name.

Psalm 91:14-15 ‘Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.’

DAILY READING; • Philemon 1:1-25; Jeremiah 19-20; Psalm 128

Dr. John Gibson Paton is known as a foremost Scottish missionary to the New Hebrides Islands of the South Pacific.
During the course of his ministry, he was often invited to preach in Australia. Travelling in Australia at that time, in the 19th century, was rather difficult, and Dr. John Paton encountered many hardships.
One day, he had an appointment that was nine miles away and there was no train transportation and no horse could be hired. So he started out on foot, carrying a heavy bag with him. As night grew closer, he trudged on, his bag growing heavier all the time. At length he met some men and asked for direction to his preaching destination and they pointed him to a light in the distance.
As he moved towards the light, it was already dark and there was no one else on the road. In the darkness, he missed his way and soon found himself lost in a swamp where his feet became trapped in the murky water and he couldn’t move. He knew that if he didn’t get any help soon, he could be dead before the morning. So he called and called out for help, but no one heard him. However God heard him.
As the night drew on, and his situation seemed hopeless, strangely, about midnight, he heard two men in conversation, close to where he was trapped. Summoning all his strength he cried out and was finally heard.
The men succeeded in rescuing Dr. Paton from the swamp, and helped him that night to get to his destination, where he was kindly received.
Dr. Paton’s faith in God had delivered him from that near-death experience and he would go on in his ministry proclaiming the faithfulness of God and winning many souls to Christ.

Indeed we must never give up crying out to God for help.
No matter how lonely it may seem in your midnight ordeal, always remember that God’s ears are open to the cry of the righteous.
As long as you trust in Him, He is never at all limited in organizing a rescue for you.
Those times when it may seem that no man can hear you or help you, God hears. He is always our ever present help in the time of need.
As we place our faith in Him, anything and everything is possible.
This is why we must always keep our faith alive. Faith is the link that keeps us connected to Heaven for a rescue operation

No matter how many times, it may seem you have cried or prayed, one thing you should never do is to give up.
As you keep knocking the door will be opened, as you keep asking you will surely receive your miracle.
The example of the widow in Luke 18, who persistently asked the judge for justice until she got it, gives us a picture of what happens if we refuse to quit crying out and reaching out to God.
We serve the prayer-answering God. Though weeping may endure for the night, surely, joy is coming in the morning. As long as you don’t give up there will be an answer.

As you are praying God is organizing a rescue, He is orchestrating the people and circumstances that will pull you out of that miry situation.
Indeed, we are never alone in the midnight seasons of life. Jesus says He will never leave us nor forsake us, He will be with us to the end of time. Whatever we may face in life, He is always there with us. His Name is Immanuel – God with us.
As He has promised in Psalm 91:14, when we call upon Him in trouble He will deliver us and show us His salvation.

Therefore today, no matter how difficult that situation, don’t grow weary and don’t be discouraged. Heaven is organizing a speedy intervention and rescue for you.
No matter how long you may have lingered in that problem, it is finally your divine season for rescue and restoration.
As you remain persistent in faith, somehow in ways and means you cannot fathom, God will organize destiny helpers to come and help you out.
Therefore keep your faith ignited through feeding on God’s Word. Also keep blessing the Lord at all times, because as you praise, you will be raised and surely your feet will be set upon the solid rock.

PRAYER: Father, I praise You because I know that You are organizing a speedy rescue and restoration for me even at this moment. By Your grace I shall never be stranded. I am emerging victorious from every tight situation and through Christ I am indeed more than a conqueror in Jesus Name.

JULY 16; PREPARATION FOR RESTORATION!

Amos 9:14 [ESV] ‘I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine, and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit.”

DAILY READING; Titus 3; Jeremiah 17-18; Psalm 127

Recently, in the News was the story of the collapse of Champlain Towers in Miami Florida.
This 12-story beachfront condominium partially collapsed in
the early hours of June 24, 2021, while many of the residents were still sleeping, trapping and killing most of them.

Investigations into the disaster has shown that there were many warnings before this Florida building collapsed
The building had been in desperate need of repairs, after saltwater infiltrated the foundation during high tides in the 1990s.
But the biggest red flag came in 2018 when an engineer noted a “major error” in the building’s design and structural issues in need of repair. The engineer’s report helped shape plans for a repair project that would cost millions of dollars.
However, the cost of the repairs was deemed to be too high by the building managers and this led to delays and wasting of precious time.
It took more than two years before the building managers finally got plans underway to pursue the repairs.
Unfortunately before the repair project could start, the building suffered the catastrophic collapse, crushing sleeping residents in a massive heap of debris.

Indeed delay can be dangerous!.
As believers, we can learn a spiritual lesson from this incident.
Anytime we receive a warning about putting our lives in order we need to act promptly.

The choice to fix foundation problems always costs, but so does ignoring them.
No matter the spiritual cost, we should not postpone or procrastinate, before taking the time to come before God and get our lives right with Him.
Many times before a calamity, the Holy Spirit gives us warnings.
We will see the cracks in our character, the going down of the fire on our prayer altar. We may notice that things are no longer working as they used to work.
At such times, we should pause immediately and locate where we may be missing it and come in repentance before God.

Realize that we are in a spiritual battle with an enemy who is intent on killing stealing and destroying, we can’t afford to give him any room in our lives.

Anywhere you notice a break in the hedge around you, repair it immediately so that the serpent doesn’t bite.
Don’t be so busy that you don’t have the time to seek God and put your spiritual life in order. Stay in prayers, study the Word and seek the Lord, until the fire is reignited on your prayer altar.

1 Corinthians 6:19 says that we are the temple of God and one of the important features of God’s temple is the Altar. The Altar must be in order for the fire of God to be upon our lives.

In 1 Kings 18:29-34, when Israel turned their back on God, Elijah went to the top of Mt. Carmel and repaired the broken Altar. After the Altar was put in order, God answered Elijah’s prayer by fire and the prophets of Baal were defeated.

There are things that may not be defeated until you attract the fire of God into your life.
Not repairing the broken Altar and harboring unconfessed sins can obstruct the blessings of God in our lives.

Proverbs 28:13 says He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.

To see restoration we must prepare to do whatever it takes to get our lives on track with Almighty God.
Each of us know what need to be repaired in our lives, let us therefore do the needful before it is too late. Let us make good use of every opportunity to draw close to God while we still can.

Isaiah 55:6 says, “Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near. “

Delaying to draw close to God gives the enemy room to attack. But maintaining an intimate relationship with God prevents damages and calamities. As we diligently obey God, we will enjoy divine establishment and abundant blessings as God restores our fortunes, repairs every ruin in our habitations and causes us to eat and drink of the fruits of our labors [Amos 9:14].

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for granting me the strength and grace to get rid of every possible barrier in my relationship with You. Thank You Lord for fresh fire on my prayer altar and renewed zeal to pursue Your will so as to see Your abundant blessings in my life in Jesus Name.

Steele Johnson is an Olympic medalist who is well known for his Christian faith. Despite a great setback at the beginning of his sporting career, he has gone on to become one of the best known divers in the world.
Steele Johnson who began diving at age seven could have died even before his career took off.
On 21st January 2009, when he was only 12 years old, Johnson was practicing a new diving style known as reverse somersault tuck position, when he struck his head on the concrete platform. His scalp split open as he fell 33 feet and plunged headfirst into the water below, where he remained motionless and lifeless.
Fortunately, his coach was nearby and quickly dived into the pool and brought him out. As the blood flowed profusely, the coach tried to limit the blood loss, until medical help arrived.
The injury required 33 staples on Johnson’s scalp and left him with memory issues. Though he miraculously survived the devastating accident, it seemed an end had come to his budding diving career. However, he refused to give up and despite the severity of the accident, just a month later he was out of the hospital and later on resumed his diving career.
Johnson went on to win multiple national titles at both the junior and college levels. He made his Olympic debut at the 2016 Rio Games, where he won a silver medal and set one of the highest records for an American diver. Interestingly, the diving style that almost killed him was what he mastered and performed to near perfection in Rio Olympics to win the medal.
Today, Steele Johnson credits God for his miraculous survival, restoration and elevation in his life and career.

What matters in life is not how you start but how you finish.
Every person goes through trials, temptations, setbacks, and even things that don’t seem to make sense.
However, while the enemy is messing, God is always blessing.
Those times, when it seems to be over, God is able to take over and turn our lives around to His glory.
Setbacks does not mean the end of the road; it is only a bend. And if you will keep going forward despite the difficulties, you will soon arrive at a glorious end.
We have to understand that even when life is not fair, God is always fair. He is always faithful and never fails.
Even in life’s darkest hours, God works behind the scenes to turn every test into a testimony. Though you may have experienced trouble, God is able to bring restoration and give you double for all your trouble.

Indeed restoration is God’s agenda for His people.
Whatever life has taken from you, God is able to restore in greater quantity and quality.
It doesn’t matter what diagnosis the doctors may have given you or the negative condition in your business, career, finances, family etc.
We serve the all-sufficient God, the God of all hope. He is the resurrection and the life.
He is our strong tower that we can run into when the storms of life are raging all around us.
Therefore no matter what you may go through, never give in to despair, because that’s right where the enemy wants you. Rather keep praising God because He is in control and able to fully restore you and turn every pain into gain for you.

However, our restoration requires our participation because our actions determine God’s reaction towards us.
Despite her discouraging situation, the woman with the issue of blood, kept pressing through the crowd until she touched the hem of Jesus’ garment. In that instant, she was made whole.

Likewise, we must be persistent in faith and keep pressing forward and keep seeking God through His Word.
Certainly, there is restoration power in God’s Word. Remember that Jesus is the Word!
While He was on earth, He went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil. Today, through His Word, He is also doing the same. He is bringing deliverance, healing and restoration to everyone that comes to Him.
Indeed He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
Therefore, whatever you are in need of today, be assured that your God is able and equal to the task! All you have to do is stay in His Word and keep blessing Him and you will soon experience a miraculous turnaround.
Even in the darkest midnight and in the face of great impossibilities, God will show up for you. He will do what no man can do and exceed your every expectations. He will show you a token for good and surely turn every mourning into dancing for you.

PRAYER; Lord, I thank You today for Your restoration agenda for my life. I know You are at work even right now to turn every test into my testimony. Please enable me to constantly study Your word and to praise You always so that I can experience Your supernatural turnaround in this season in Jesus Name.

JULY 14; POWER TO POSSESS OUR POSSESSIONS..

Obadiah 17-21 ‘But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.’

DAILY READING; Titus 1; Jeremiah 13-14; Psalm 125

Debbie and Keith Jagger are American missionaries serving with the ministry ‘Missionaries On Special Assignment’ {MOSA].
In August 2001, they were sent to the village of Wa in northern Ghana, to help a small Christian community living in a predominantly muslim environment.
However, their arrival in the village was greeted with hostility by some residents who hated Christianity.
As the tensions increased over their presence, two watchmen were hired to guard the missionaries’ home.
They later learnt that a group of evil men were brought into the village specifically for the purpose of putting voodoo curses on their home.
On October 4, 2001, the missionaries felt a spiritual attack as Keith was almost blinded in a domestic accident and Debbie was wounded by a heavy kitchen shelf that inexplicably fell and knocked her down.
It seemed that having failed in the spiritual attempt to kill the missionaries, these evil attackers then came physically to their home that night.
At 1:45 am, Keith and Debbie heard their two security men screaming that armed intruders were invading the compound.
As Keith attempted to call the police, he found that strangely all their phones were dead. As the intruders began breaking in, the missionaries started to pray Psalm 91 for protection. As Debbie prayed, she heard the Lord say to her ‘You have been with Me in that secret place. Now you just stand in My shadow.'”
Once inside, the five intruders with guns, ordered Keith and Debbie out into the hallway. However, God’s Presence was so thick in the house that the intruders couldn’t harm the missionaries. When they demanded money, Keith gave them a one-hundred-dollar bill and said, “In the Name of Jesus”
Instantly as he spoke the Name of Jesus, the men bowed their heads simultaneously and suddenly began backing away in fear, even though they were holding guns.
Eventually, Keith and Debbie heard the men leave the house and drive off in their car. They never returned again and the missionaries were left to carry on their work unhindered. .

When we dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of His wings, certainly, the Lord becomes our refuge and fortress.
Under the shadow of the Almighty, we receive divine immunity against every evil attack.

Spiritually our location is what determines our allocation in life.
As believers we are spiritually located in Mount Zion, where we are surrounded by an innumerable company of angels. Indeed Mount Zion is our place of deliverance and formidable spiritual security.

Hebrews. 12:22-24 says, “But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and Church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, and to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”

The Blood of Jesus speaks powerfully in mount Zion. Through the speakings of His Blood we are able to experience deliverance and possess our possessions.
Obadiah 17-21 says ‘But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.’
When we dwell in Zion, we do not only enjoy divine security, we also receive the strength to possess everything allotted to us in destiny.
Zion is the place where we receive divine strength to pursue, overtake and recover all.
Psalm 84:7-12 says ‘They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.’

As we dwell in Zion, we dwell in God’s divine Presence, where we are covered by the Blood of Jesus. The Blood of Jesus is the divine provision for our freedom from all satanic oppression.
Through His Blood shed on the Cross, Jesus has wiped out the handwriting of every ordinance against us. He has blotted out all the plots of witchcraft and occultic forces and everything against our general wellbeing and nailed them to the cross.
Indeed the Blood of Jesus ensures that affliction cannot arise a second time in our lives.
However, revelation from God’s Word is the gateway to accessing our redemptive heritage in the Blood.
And today, as we accept the responsibility of diligent study of the Word, certainly, we shall possess our possessions and enjoy restoration of every good thing allotted to us by redemption.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to always diligently study Your Word so as to truly see the victory I have through the Blood of Jesus. Indeed by the power in the Blood, I shall possess my possessions and enjoy restoration in every area of my life in Jesus’ Name.

Arthur was the son of a Pastor, who grew up to love the Lord and desired to serve Him. At the same time he also had a great passion for science.
Already by age 12, he had a telescope with which he was able to observe the planets. And at age 16, he had written scientific articles, which were later published in the Newspapers.
As he grew older, Arthur was torn between his love of science and his desire to become a Christian missionary.
He however came to believe that he could serve God more effectively as a scientist, by making discoveries that would advance humanity.
For a time, Arthur Compton served in the Baptist church, but he ultimately pursued a career in Science and majored in Physics. He found himself drawn to experimental work and indepth scientific researches.

He would spend most of his life in deep researches that contributed immensely to the progress of science.
One of the most important scientific discoveries he made is what is known today as the ‘Compton effect.’ This discovery was a significant turning point in the understanding of the properties of light and objects.
However, he initially, faced a lot of oppositions because his discovery upset the old scientific beliefs about the nature of light.
When he first presented the results of his research at a meeting of the American Physical Society in 1923, it initiated one of the most hotly contested scientific debates ever known.
But Arthur Compton was not deterred by the controversy because he had great confidence in the depth of his research.
And with time he was proved to be correct. As a result of his discovery he won the Nobel Prize in Physics.
He also received many other awards in his lifetime and is celebrated as one of the most outstanding research scientists of his generation.

Spiritually, when we diligently search in God’s Word and discover the truth, it births unshakeable faith in our hearts.
This confidence that comes from our discovery of the truth makes us immoveable in the face of any trial or oppositions.
This faith from God’s Word is how we overcome the world and its challenges.

As believers, we all have the responsibility to seek from God’s Word, the truth that sets free. When we find it there shall be a reward and our expectations shall not be cut short.

No matter what you may be confonted with at any time, there’s always a way out of it.
God’s Word is the master key that opens every closed door.
Every question of life has an answer in the Word.
All we need is to pay the price of diligently seeking until we find it. The revelation from the Word will birth a revolution in our lives.

Every genuine recovery of destiny anchors on discoveries from the Word. Certainly to be informed is to be transformed.

Indeed God has given us all things that partain to life and godliness through the knowledge of His Word.
It is God’s will that we live an abundant life, with nothing missing or lacking or wanting. Jesus came, that we might have life and have it more abundantly.
However, John 10:10 says that there is a thief that comes to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.
Due to the activities of this thief, precious things have been stolen from the lives of many people.

However, God’s Word is the light through which we can discover and recover every precious thing stolen from us.

In Luke 15:8, the Bible tells us about the woman who lost her silver coin and lit her candle and searched diligently until she found the lost coin.

The spirit of a man is the candle of the Lord. When we light up our spirit through connection to God’s Word, we will locate every precious thing missing in our lives and destinies.

Therefore today if your joy or peace is missing, you can find them by in-depth search in God’s Word . If health, favor, progress, success or any good thing is missing, you can locate them by spending quality time in the Word..
As we study the Word, the Holy Spirit illuminates our mind to know what we need to do in order to experience restoration of what was lost.
And as we obey His instructions, divine strength is imparted into us to pursue, overtake and indeed recover all.

PRAYER: Father Thank You lord for granting me the grace for continual diligent study of Your Word. And as I study please help me to make the discoveries that will lead to recovery of all I have ever lost in life in Jesus Name.

JULY 12; SPEAK TO THAT MOUNTAIN..

Mark 11:23 ‘Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.’

DAILY READING; • 2 Timothy 3; Jeremiah 9-10; Psalm 123

Paul Porter is a founding member and lead vocalist of the legendary Gospel music group ‘The Christianaires.’
In the three decades of his musical career, he has earned numerous nominations and awards—including Grammy, Dove, and Stellar awards—and was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.
However, in 1996, Paul Porter’s career came to an abrupt halt when he suffered a brain aneurism. As a result of the aneurism, he lost his sight, his voice, his ability to walk and motor skills. He lost his memory and stayed in the bed about a year and a half.
He was in a wheelchair for three years and had multiple surgeries. With no improvement, the doctors eventually gave up and gave him up to die.
However the sickness was a wake-up call that drew Paul closer to God. And rather than accept the doctors’ verdict he chose to seek God’s face and hold on to His Word. Though his recovery seemed impossible, he began telling people that God was going to heal him and restore him.
Eventually he spoke his healing into existence. One day, he was able to get out of his wheelchair and began using a walker. As he continued to believe God and speak in faith, after a while he dropped the walker and began using a cane. Then finally in 2006, he was able to get rid of the cane and walked free, totally healed and whole and resumed his musical career.
He teamed up with Smokie Norful and Erica Campbell to release his music Album titled “F.R.E.E, in celebration of God’s faithfulness. One of the very personal songs in the Album “You Can’t Give Up” is a testimony of his holding on to God’s Word and refusing to give up until he got his miracle.

Though Paul Porter seemed to have lost everything, yet he experienced divine recovery, because he chose to believe and speak God’s Word.
Indeed there is power of deliverance in God’s Words.
What becomes of us is largely determined by the words we speak. Matthew 12:37 says you are either condemned or justified by the words of your mouth.
Most sicknesses and afflictions have spiritual root. God’s Word alone has the spiritual capacity to destroy the evil roots of these problems. Therefore to see recovery and restoration, we must keep declaring God’s counsel, no matter how impossible any situation.

The word of God, spoken in faith in the Name of Jesus, has awesome power to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles.
God has given us a mouth and wisdom that all our adversaries ‘shall not be able to gainsay nor resist’ and every tongue that shall rise against us in judgement we are destined to condemn.[ (Luke 21:15, Isaiah 54:17].

Certainly, to pursue, overcome and recover everything missing in our lives, we cannot afford to keep silent in the face of any challenge or confrontation. This is because in spiritual battles, silence is taken for consent. If you are not condemning, then you are condoning. It is therefore time to begin to speak out against any mountain confronting you today.
Whether it is a mountain of sickness, financial challenge, spiritual laziness, relationship problems, etc, you cannot afford to keep watching it. The spirit of faith demands that we declare what we believe in order to see our deliverance and salvation.
Romans 10:10 tells us that it is with the mouth that confession is made unto salvation.

However, we cannot speak effectively with faith and power, until we have first been filled with God’s Word.
It is as we in-depthly study God’s Word, and speak boldly with faith, that we will experience our desired miraculous turnaround.

Certainly, in this season the wind of change is blowing and our circumstance is about to shift. No matter what may have happened in the past, today, the grace for recovery and restoration is available.
Let us therefore continually praise and bless the Lord for His faithfulness, because we are about to see a speedy manifestation of His promises.
As we stay in faith, God will convert every breakdown into a breakthrough for us and we will have cause to continually glorify Him throughout this year for His wondrous dealings in our lives.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for the grace to speak with faith and power against every confrontations to my destiny. As I keep praising You, I know that there shall be speedy manifestations of Your wonder agenda for me this year in Jesus’ Name.

JULY 11; DIVINELY RESCUED AND RESTORED.…

Isaiah 43:2 ‘When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you’.

DAILY READING – 2 Timothy 2; Jeremiah 7-8; Psalm 122

In 2020, CBN News and other News outlets reported the miraculous rescue of Pete Brown and his friends who had been lost at sea.
On December 20, 2019, Pete Brown with two crewmates had set sail from Japan to Hawaii. They took off around thanksgiving day with the hope of arriving their destination on Christmas day.
But along the way, their vessel ran into difficulties during a storm. As the sea became rough, the boat tipped over and they were upside down. As they cried out to God for help, they were eventually able to get the boat upright again.
But the storm had broken their mast and also damaged their communication devices, making it impossible for the men to communicate for help.
After their family noticed that they could no longer communicate with them, the US Coast Gaurd was contacted. A search for them with airplanes began, but to no avail.
Lost at sea, the situation of these three men looked more hopeless as the days passed by. Yet they held on to God through constant prayers and refused to give up hope.
Finally, after nine days, on December 29, their prayers were answered! The men saw a boat in the distance. For a half-hour, they used mirrors to flash sunlight at the boat until they were seen and rescued. The men were finally returned to land on January 2 and reunited with their families in Hawaii.
They gave God the glory for their miraculous rescue.

At the red sea, the children of Israel seemed to be out of options! They had their backs against the wall, with pharaoh and his army in hot pursuit. But when they cried out to God, He told them to stand and see His salvation.
Anytime we come to waters too high for us, we need to stand still and hope in God’s salvation. Despite the raging of the sea God is at work, He is making a way.
Even if surrounded by contrary situations we must keep hoping on God and calling upon His Name, trusting that His salvation is on the way.
No matter what comes your way, you must remain strong and very courageous. Never quit or give up hope, God is always there and He is working in your favor.

In Isaiah 43:2 God says, ‘When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you’.

This verse makes it clear that even in the worst of situations, God is able to make a way for us. When we pass through the water and the fire, we are not remaining there, rather we are only going through. And we come out on the other side better than when we went in.
Despite what may seem like a negative situation, God is working out His higher purpose in your life. He is the Author and finisher of your faith. That means, what He begins in you, He also completes it. He will never leave you nor forsake you as long as your hope and trust is in Him. This is why you must keep standing in faith.
And faith comes by hearing God’s Word. Therefore there is a need to keep filling our hearts continually with the Word, until our actions are dominated and controlled by what God says.
No matter, how long you may have been ‘drifting at sea’ in that situation, surely there is an end and your expectations shall not be cut short.
In this season of recovery, you are going to experience a divine rescue. God will indeed answer your prayers and you will see speedy progress, acceleration and restoration in every area of life in Jesus Name.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to make your Word top priority in my life, so that I can always walk by faith, and not by sight. I thank You Lord, for enabling me to experience Your divine rescue, restoration, recovery in this season in Jesus Name
