JULY 10; MOVING FORWARD AND UPWARD…

Psalm 66:3 “Through the greatness of thy power shall thy enemy submit themselves unto thee.”

DAILY READING • 2 Timothy 1; Jeremiah 5-6; Psalm 121

During World War 2, Germany had a secret weapon that they used effectively in battles.
It was a rocket known as V-2, which became the world’s first long-range guided ballistic missile. It was developed by Germany as a “vengeance weapon” to attack the US, Britain and their allies.
About 3,000 of these rockets launched by Germany proved to be extraordinarily deadly. The V-2 was difficult to intercept as it would rise six miles vertically and then fall on its target at a speed of almost 4000 mph.
After winning World War II, America, Russia, and Britain were all very eager to learn about this Germany’s secret devastating weapon.
After gaining access to the V-2’s technical designs and the scientists responsible for creating it, they were able to produce modern rockets and missiles.

The ability of a rocket to soar high, is that they overcome Earth’s gravity through burning much fuel.
Rockets carry so much fuel that 90% of the weight of a typical rocket is fuel.
A rocket will keep speeding up as long as the force from the fuel pushing it upwards is greater than the forces of gravity trying to pull it down.
Gravity is constantly exerting a “downward” force on every object within its range and if a rocket stops pushing upward, gravity will reverse its upward progress.
And so the rocket needs to be accelerating up harder than gravity is pulling it down. This it does through applying great power from burning much fuel.

We can learn a great spiritual truth from the movement of the rocket.Just like a rocket, needs power to go up against the force of gravity, we
need power to go up against the spiritual forces that try to pull us down.
As believers to maintain an upward progress in life, we need to be constantly empowered through a spiritually fervent lifestyle.
It is only by the exercise of great power that we can overcome the forces of the enemy.

Psalm 66:3 says “Through the greatness of thy power shall thy enemy submit themselves unto thee.”

To truly pursue, overtake and recover all that belongs to us, we need power.
It is our power level that determines our level of dominion on the earth.

We are in the last days which are the days of Manifestation of God’s power. Therefore, every child of God needs to exercise power to operate in the realms of supernatural exploits.

When we got born again we received a level of power. John 1:12 tells us that as many as received Christ, to them were given the power to become the sons of God.

However, after getting born again we need to keep increasing our power level in order to move forward and upward in life.

Though Jesus was anointed without measure, yet He kept going to the mountain of prayer to increase His power level.
We increase our power through a lifestyle of fasting, prayers, and study of The Word of God.

In these last days the oppositions and resistance against our progress is getting hotter everyday.
Therefore to fly high, we must be determined to pay the required spiritual price for power.
To truly overtake and overcome every opposition, we must be operating with the higher power and greater force of the Holy Ghost.
Indeed through the exercise of great power, we shall be flying high in this season and every enemy must certainly submit to us

PRAYER: Lord, Please grant me a renewed desire for Your Word and prayer, so that I can be empowered to fly to the great heights You have ordained for me this year in Jesus Name.

JULY 9; DIVINE SPEED AND ACCELERATION…

Deuteronomy 28:2 ‘And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.’

DAILY READING – – 1 Timothy 5:23-6:21; Jeremiah 3-4; Psalm 120

William Kamkwamba is a Malawian inventor, engineer, and author.
He gained fame, when at age 14, in 2001, he built a wind turbine to power multiple electrical appliances in his town.
William was born in a family of relative poverty in a very poor village in Malawi. However his parents were Christians who brought him up in the way of the Lord. Forced to quit school because of inability to pay his school fees, William trusted the Lord to see him through in life. He resorted to educating himself by frequenting the public library.
After reading a book titled ‘Using Energy’, William taught himself the principles of electric generation from this book. This boy, who had never seen a computer, surprisingly, was able to build a windmill using materials collected from a local scrapyard.
He built a windmill powerful enough to run lights and water pumps for his poor village in Malawi.
His ingenuity caught the eye of a journalist who wrote about him. As a result he was invited to talk at TED Global conference 2007 in Arusha, Tanzania. His speech moved the audience, and several people at the conference pledged to help finance his secondary education and he received a scholarship to continue with his studies after a 5-year lapse.
And today, from a village school dropout, William has become an international innovator, engineer, and author. His story has been captured in books and movies and in 2013, TIME magazine named William Kamkwamba as one of the “30 People Under 30 Changing The World”.
William continually credits God for his success and the inspiration that led to his inventions.

William’s story is a remarkable example of the difference God can make in the life of a person.
Though the odds seemed against him, through faith in God, William refused to accept his “fate” and dared to believe God for the miraculous. By doing what he could with the little that he had, today, God has multiplied his efforts and magnified his little steps.

The fact that a negative pattern have been passed down to you, doesn’t mean you have to live with it. You may have been born into a disadvantaged background where it appears you were limited right from the start.
But even in the midst what looks impossible, God is able to manifest to you as a way-maker and barrier breaker.
Though the circumstances of life may seem to have put you at a disadvantage, that still cannot thwart God’s great plan for you.
As you trust God and keep pressing forward to the high calling of God in Christ Jesus, God will open for you doors no man can shut. He will cause you to be the one who blazes a new trail and breaks the barriers in your family.
God will use you to stop generational curses and start generational blessings.
The truth is that when God is with you no matter how weak or disadvantaged you may be, you will surely succeed against all odds.

Indeed God can use anyone who yields to Him to accomplish great things on earth.
Therefore, today, regardless of your current circumstances, determine to keep following God faithfully. God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
As you rightly position yourself through study of His Word, a prayerful lifestyle and fervent praise, God will indeed turn you into a wonder.
God will open doors you never imagined and blessings will suddenly begin to chase you down.

Deuteronomy 28:2 says ‘And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.’

Indeed as long as you put your trust in the Lord, you shall never be ashamed. Therefore in this second half of the year, let us begin to believe God to exceed our expectations.
It is certainly our time to experience divine acceleration, speedy accomplishments and an overtaker’s anointing to pursue, overtake and recover every good thing ordained for us in this season.

PRAYER; Lord please help me to be obedient to Your Word, so that I can experience Your wonders. I know that You are in perfect control of my life and as I continue to trust in You, You will certainly exceed all my expectations this year in Jesus Name.

JULY 8; GOD IS WORKING IT OUT..

2 Peter 3:9, (NIV)
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you…”

DAILY READING; 1 Timothy 5:1-22; Jeremiah 1-2; Psalm 119:145-176

In 2014, many News outlets reported the amazing story of a California toddler who survived a three-story fall. He was saved by a couple who were moving into a new home, who threw a mattress under the boy just in time before he plunged to the ground.
This couple, Konrad and Jennifer Lighter, it seemed, had been divinely delayed just so that they could be at the right place at the right time to rescue this toddler.
About an hour earlier, as they were bringing down their mattress, the elevator had suddenly stopped working. Stuck in the elevator, they called for help and waited and waited before the maintenance service arrived to get them out. Frustrated by the delay, as they were, carrying their mattress toward their truck they saw a three year old child clamber out of a third-floor apartment window. As the child dangled on the balcony railing they knew he was in danger and yelled at him to go back inside the apartment, but he wouldn’t listen. They were so alarmed that they rushed over with the mattress and positioned it as best they could underneath where the boy was dangling. In a few seconds, this little boy fell off the third-story balcony and landed right on their mattress. He was totally unharmed
They later learned that the child was autistic and didn’t hear when they were yelling at him to go back inside.
This amazing rescue story was widely reported in the News, and thrust Jennifer and Konrad Lighter into public acclaim and sudden popularity..

While this couple were frustrated by the faulty elevator, they didn’t know it was a divine delay.
Sometimes God has to slow us down to get us to be at the right place at the right time in His plan.
The Bible says that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. (Psalm 37:23)
So many times, our ordinary comings and goings seem insignificant, when in fact they are being ordered by the Lord to allign with His divine purpose. .
As we trust Him, God controls our lives and holds our destiny in His hand.
Some of the seeming setbacks and disappointments we may encounter often turn out to be blessings in disguise.
The delays, adversities, and closed doors could all be working to push us into our next level of destiny.
At the time, we may not understand it, but faith is trusting God’s divine strategy, even when it doesn’t seem to make sense.
While it may seem as if you are facing oppositions, God is actually creating opportunities.

While we may be focusing on the present frustration, unknown to us, God is orchestrating and shifting things in our favor. Indeed we serve the God of divine restoration who can cause setbacks to become the setup for our success.
As long as we trust in Him as our shepherd, He will lead us to our green pastures in life.
Certainly, we will live a more peaceful life when we learn to always trust and obey God, knowing that He is strategically ordering our every step..
Indeed as we continue to trust in Him and praise Him in every situation, He will surely cause all things to work together for our good! .

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for Your continual faithfulness in my life. I praise and bless You because even right now I know You are turning around every situation to my favor, , and turning every mourning into dancing for me in Jesus Name.

JULY 7; BENEFITS OF DIVINE GUIDANCE.

Isaiah 48:17 ‘Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.’

DAILY READING; • 1 Timothy 4; Isaiah 38-39; Psalm 119:121-144

In his book titled ‘How you can be led by the Spirit of God’ Kenneth E. Hagin told the story of a Christian millionaire in Texas, in the 1930’s, who made his money through divine guidance.

This man had grown up in great poverty, he never wore a pair of shoes until he was 12 years old and he only had a fifth grade education. However, when he became a Christian, he learned to follow the inward witness of the Spirit and through it, God guided him in business and he rose to become a millionaire..
Remarkably, throughout his years of investments as a businessman, he never lost any money. Everything he ever invested in always yielded profits.
His secret was that anytime there was an investment opportunity, instead of relying on the facts, he would first seek the face of God before taking any decision.
He literarily followed Matthew 6:6, where Jesus said ‘But you, when you pray, enter into your closet, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father which is in secret; and your Father which sees in secret shall reward thee openly’.
Though he understood that this verse didn’t necessarily mean going into a physical closet to pray, but rather shutting out distractions, still he would go into a large closet in his bedroom and shut himself in there to pray and receive direction from the Spirit.
If he didn’t receive an immediate response, he would stay in there, praying and reading his Bible for as long as it took to get an answer.

Once he received the divine leading of what to do, though the facts, expert advice and even his mind may be telling him otherwise, he would strictly follow the Spirit’s guidance.
As a result, in all his years of investment he never lost a dime but rather made much profits and became wealthy.

Romans 8:14 says, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”

As sons of God, we have a major advantage in life. The guidance of the Holy Ghost leads us into profitable living and helps us avoid losses.
Every saved believer is a child of destiny and product of God’s predestination. [Romans 8:30]. But it takes the power of the Holy Spirit to make our great destiny a reality.
Believers only suffer losses in life if they refuse to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.
No matter how smart or knowledgeable we may be, our brain cannot be more accurate than the Holy Spirit.
Our mind can only relate with past and present events, but the Holy Spirit is the One that has access into the future and knows the end from the beginning.

So, it is to our greatest advantage to develop a sound walk and relationship with Him.
Through His guidance we will enjoy profiting and progress in every area of life.

However, to be led by the Spirit of God, we must be able to recognize His voice. This comes from prayer and meditating on the Word.
When we meditate on the Word of God, we are training our human spirit to recognize God’s voice and be more in tune with what He says to us. That’s why God told Joshua that meditating on His Word was the key to prosperity and success (Joshua 1:8).

It is the blessings of the Lord that makes rich, not our smartness.
Certainly, following God’s plan is what leads to profitable pursuits in life.
Through His guidance we will avoid labouring in vain.
Even where we may have made mistakes, through following divine leadings we can be able to experience recovery and enjoy a supernatural flow of miracles, signs and wonders in all our endeavors.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to develop a close walk with Your Spirit so that I can enjoy divine profiting in life. By Your grace I shall recover every lost ground and experience speedy progress in all my endeavors in Jesus Name.

JULY 6: RECOVERY THROUGH THE WORD…

Joel 2:25 ” And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.”

DAILY READING 1Timothy 3, Isaiah 36, Psalm 120.

MC Hammer, whose real name is Stanley Burrell was one of the biggest music stars of the 1980s and 1990s.

However, he had started his musical career as a Gospel artiste whose purpose was to please God.
As a young boy he had committied his life to Christ and attended Bible studies and church meetings almost daily.
He formed a Gospel music group called , the Holy Ghost Boys.

But a change came in his life in 1988 when he connected to Capitol Records and was gradually drawn into worldly music. It wasn’t long before he began to slide into sin and away from God’s purpose.
By the early 1990s, Mc Hammer had become a multi-platinum rap superstar winning Grammy awards and had an estimated annual income of $33 million.
Despite all the riches and glamour, it wasn’t long before his life began a downward spiral. He squandered his fortune on a lavish lifestyle and by 1996, he had lost almost everything. He amassed debts of nearly $14 million and
was forced to file for bankruptcy.

Life became a difficult journey as he suffered a serious knee injury and his wife had a cancer diagnosis.
However, as he returned back to God and recommitted his life to Christ things began to turn around.
He experienced a divine recovery and restoration as
God not only brought him out of bankruptcy, but also healed both him and his wife.
Today, Mc Hammer is back in the limelight, but now as a Gospel minister who through music and television shows spreads the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world. Though he had sunk to the lowest depths, yet though God’s help he was able to rise again.

Indeed we serve the faithful God who specializes in recovery of the lost!

In 2 Kings 6:1-7 prophet Elisha and sons of the prophet were cutting trees for a buildng, when one of the young prophet’s iron axe head fell into the water.
The Jordan was a muddy and dangerous river and, in the natural, there was very little chance of the axe head being recovered.
But when prophet Elisha cut off a stick, and threw it into the river; the iron axe head floated to the surface and was recovered.

Spiritually, the stick represented Jesus,l. He is the rod out of the stem of Jesse. (Isaiah 11:1).
Through Christ, any missing axe head in our lives can be miraculously recovered.

The loss of the axe head was probably due to the carelessness or mistake of the young prophet.
However, God’s mercies are always greater than our mistakes.
If we miss God’s direction on the road of life, He often allows U-turns.
Even though, you may have lost the power, the grace and favor of God in the Jordan of your life, through His Word, God always brings recovery and restoration.
Repentance and diligently seek God through study of the Word, prayers, worship and praise, is the key to restoration.

In Jeremiah 29:13 , God says that when we seek Him with all our heart, we will find Him and He will turn away our captivity.
.
Indeed when we seek God with all our heart, He will come to destroy every captivity and establish divine restoration in every area of our lives.
Certainly, today, in our finances, health and relationships,
God will cause every missing axe head to swim again.
That business, career or relationship that was going down will float again.
Your health will be restored, your peace will be recovered. The years that the cankerworms may have eaten will be miraculously restored.
Certainly, in this season, as we diligently seek God, everything stolen or missing in our lives will experience full and speedy restoration in Jesus Name.

PRAYER: Father, please grant me the grace to always diligently seek You at all times. I thank You for the speedy recovery and restoration You are indeed bringing into my life in this season in Jesus Name.

JULY 5; RECOVER YOUR PEACE AND JOY!

Ephesians 4:31-32 ‘Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.’

DAILY READING; 1 Timothy 2; Isaiah 34-35; Psalm 119:65-96.

After serving two terms, America’s first president, George Washington, declined to serve a third term. This then led to America’s first presidential race in 1796. It was contested by John Adams of the Federalist Party and Thomas Jefferson of the Republican Party.
Though John Adams and Thomas Jefferson had been good friends and part of America’s founding fathers, their campaign quickly descended into bitter rivalry and mudslinging between their supporters.
After all the insults and rancor, at the end of the election on November 4, 1796, Adams defeated Jefferson by three electoral votes and gained an electoral majority by just one vote.
The result was that while John Adams emerged as America’s second president, Thomas Jefferson, became the Vice president.
At the end of Adam’s term, Thomas Jefferson succeeded in becoming the third American president. However, his bitter rivalry with John Adams continued throughout their political careers.
These two men spent most of their lives hating each other, but eventually during the last few years of their lives, they reconciled. Interestingly they both died on the same day on July 4, 1826. Exactly on the very same day, 50 years earlier that two of them signed the American independence declaration.

Certainly, we cannot allow bitterness and anger to take up valuable time, energy and space in our lives.
Everyone has felt offended at sometimes. However, how we handle negative emotions will determine whether we go through life with an attitude of victory or an attitude of defeat.
Somebody may have hurt you once, but don’t let them continue to hurt you by holding on to the offense and carrying around the grudges.
Being offended at people is not harming them, rather it’s harming you. It’s taking up space for the good things that God intended to place in your life to move you forward in destiny.
God created you to be filled with joy, peace and love. Our thoughts are to be filled with whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report and praise. [Philippians 4:8].
Living with bitterness, self-pity, anger and resentment will only poison your heart and shorten your lifespan..
The Scripture says offenses will come but we shouldn’t make the mistake of holding on to them. Don’t go through life looking in the rearview mirror, rather learn to let go of the past and move on.
You cannot undo the past, but you can do something about the present and future.

If you feel someone else got something that should have been yours, or they moved ahead of you in life, do not envy them. Your seasons of harvest may not be the same. Therefore, trust in God’s timing for your life. In your due season you will not be denied. While you are faithfully and continually serving God, He is preparing a table before you, and in His own time, He will cause your cup to run over.

Therefore, determine today, to keep your focus on the pursuit of God’s divine purpose for your life and refuse to be distracted or derailed by offences. And if perhaps, in some way, the enemy has stolen your joy and peace, it is time to pursue, overtake and recover them all.
As you daily fill your heart with God’s Word, unspeakable joy will continually overflow your life. And surely the peace of God that passes all understanding will guard your heart and mind.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for the grace to pursue and recover every good thing that I may have lost through unguarded emotions. Please enable me to continually sow Your Word into my heart so that I can reap a rich harvest of Your joy, peace and blessings in Jesus Name.

JULY 4; SET FREE INDEED!

1 Peter 2:16 [NIV] ‘Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves.’

DAILY READING; 1 Timothy 1; Isaiah 31-33; Psalm 119:33-64

Today, July 4th , marks America’s Independence day celebration. It is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the Declaration of their nation’s independence on July 4, 1776.
A century later, during the independence celebration on July 4, 1884, France presented America with the Statue of Liberty, which is perhaps its largest physical birthday present.
It took four months to assemble the 151-foot-tall statue of Liberty, which was shipped from Paris in hundreds of pieces.
Today, the Statue stands in Upper New York Bay, as a universal symbol of freedom.

For the 2021 Independence celebration, once again France is sending a second, smaller, 9 feet Statue of Liberty across the Atlantic just in time for America’s July Fourth festivities. This is 137 years ago, after gifting the original Lady Liberty to the U.S.

The essence of the gift of the statue of liberty was originally conceived by France as an emblem of its friendship with the U.S. and a sign of their mutual desire for liberty.
Interestingly in the same year, 1884, that the gift of the statue of liberty was given and celebrated in the News as a symbol of America’s freedom, another incident also was in the news.
In a bid to control the menace of fireworks, during the independence day celebrations of that year, local city leaders in Denver Colorado had refused to supply fireworks to a group of men at a mining camp known as Swan City, Colo. The miffed miners then decided to exercise their own freedom of expression in a different way. They blew up the post office with dynamites as a way of venting their anger. This action instead of expressing their freedom only ended up denying them freedom, as they were arrested by the law.

Indeed freedom and liberty means different things to different people.
Having a liberty or freedom to do something is not the same as choosing not to obey commands, follow examples, or adhere to necessary implications.
Romans 7:8 says “Do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature.”.[NIV].
Certainly, true freedom comes with discipline. Freedom must have limitations in order to be freedom.
Discipline may not be very appealing but it is the mystery behind distinctions in life.
You can never enjoy lasting success in life without proven self-discipline.
Each of us is absolutely responsible for the outcome of our lives through our level of submission to godly discipline.

We saw in 2 Samuel 13 how Ammon, the son of king David, was a potential heir to the throne. As a prince, he enjoyed a lot of freedom and liberty, but due to careless association and lack of discipline, he not only lost the throne but also lost his life.

Certainly, we must be self-disciplined so as not to miss our glorious place in destiny.
To successfully get to our desired place in life, we must realize that we are not really free to do what we like. No matter how we feel or our desire, we are constrained by the instructions of the Scriptures. Always, we must ensure that our liberty doesn’t become an occasion of stumbling to others or even ourselves.

1 Peter 2:16 [NIV] says ‘Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves.’

The spiritual freedom purchased for us on the cross by Christ, should lead us to obey God’s Word out love for the Lord who freed us from sin.
This means that how we act and express ourselves, must all be done to please God.
In a generation where everyone feels they can do what they want, we must choose to be different. In everything we do Christ must be glorified.
As believers, our celebration of freedom, is our deliverance from the shackles of sin and oppression of the enemy.
Galatians 5:1 says ‘It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.’
As we have been set free by Christ let us stand firm and not again be entangled in the yoke of sin. Let us continually claim our freedom from temptations, afflictions and every form of demonic oppressions. Certainly, whosoever the son of God has made free is truly free indeed.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You for the freedom Christ purchased for me at Calvary. Please grant me the grace for a life of discipline lived in accordance with Your Word so that Christ will be continually glorified in all I do in Jesus Name.

JULY 3; REAPING A HARVEST OF MIRACLES.

Galatians 6:9 ‘And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.’

DAILY READING – 2 Thessalonians 3; Isaiah 29-30; Psalm 119:1-32

23 years old Jermaine Green was serving as Youth Pastor at Highway of Holiness Church in Illinois, when he had a devastating accident.
A truck slammed into his car while he was driving to work.
He suffered severe head trauma from the accident and immediately went into a coma.
At the hospital it was discovered that he was paralyzed on one side of his body.
His parents who were also Pastors, together with their church family, prayed non-stop for Jermaine’s healing.

Though he initially received divine healing, by waking from the coma and recovering from the paralysis, however, the healing was short-lived. Three weeks later he had a relapse and blacked out.
When he woke up the left side of his body was paralyzed again.
Doctors diagnosed him with hemiparesis, a weakness of one side of his body.
All attempts of physical therapy failed and Jermaine had to face life confined to a wheelchair.
Though he initially suffered a season of deep depression, one day Jermaine had a revelation that no matter his circumstances, he must continue to live his life for God.
At that point, he decided that despite being in a wheelchair, he would continue serving God the best way he could.

After this decision, Jermaine once again took up his pastoral duties.
One day he was ministering in the Church on a Sunday morning, when he received a word from the Lord that the Church should go into praise.
Propheticaly Jermaine began to declare ‘It’s another wave of anointing. God is getting ready to work a miracle.’”
As he was saying that, he just stood up and started walking.
Amazingly, Jermaine was so lost in praise and worship, that he didn’t even realize that he had left his wheelchair behind and was walking up the isle.
It was when the congregation began to scream and shout at the sight of him walking, that he realized what had happened! He was healed!.
This time around the healing was permanent and ever since Jermaine has been up on his feet and walking and serving the Lord.
His amazing story has been featured on CBN news and other Christian Media outlets.

We indeed serve the God of miracles, signs and wonders.
God is a Covenant keeping God, who is always faithful to His Word. Certainly, when we refuse to faint or grow weary, we will reap the harvest of His Promises.

Usually, there is always a condition we must fulfill before we can see the manifestation of God’s promises in our lives. And one of these conditions is being persistent in faith. When you continue to sow the seed of God’s Word, and refuse to give up, in due season you will surely reap your miracle.

Therefore despite the contrary situations we may sometimes face, let us remain persist in serving God because He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him..

Even if there seems to be a delay of expectations, we must refuse to get easily discouraged.
Faithful is He that called us, who will also do it.
When we live with expectancy it gets God’s attention.

Indeed as you remain persistent in faith and keep honoring God, it is only a matter of time before your cup runs over.
Therefore In this season, let us keep believing God for a supernatural turnaround and recovery in every area of our lives..
Whatever may seem to be missing in your health, finances or relationships, there will be a speedy recovery of them all in this season.
In this second half of the year, all your investment, or expectations of profits and gains, shall yield for you several folds.
Certainly, as you remain diligent in serving God, you will experience overflow and abundance of blessings in every area of your endeavors.

PRAYER Lord I thank You for Your grace being released to me to experience divine restoration and recovery in this season. You are forever faithful and You never fail. I know that even right now You are perfecting all that concerns me in Jesus Name.

JULY 2; OUR SEASON OF DIVINE RECOVERY..

Proverbs 24:16 ‘For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.’

DAILY READING; 2 Thessalonians 2; Isaiah 27-28; Psalm 118

When World War II ended in May 1945, it left many Jews devastated.
In some parts of Europe entire Jewish communities had been wiped out.
For instance, before the war about 3.5 million Jews lived in Poland, which was the largest Jewish community in Europe. But after the war, only about two hundred and fifty thousand Jews were left alive, about 93 percent of that population had perished.
In all of Europe, over 7 million Jews had lived in thriving communities before the war, but at the end of the war only approximately 1.5 million Jews remained alive.

Even those who survived were left physically, mentally and emotionally exhausted. They had been living in terror and fear. For 6 years of the war, some had been languishing in Hitler’s death camps, while others had been living in hiding.

To worsen matters, after the war, many of the surviving Jews on returning back to their towns encountered virulent anti-Semitism from the local populations. In Poland more than 1,000 Jews were killed during the first year after the war. Also many of the Jews found that their old homes had been taken over by other people.
Broken, homeless and devastated it indeed seemed the Jews had come to the end of the road.
However, despite their tragedy, they held on to God’s promises of restoration in the Bible..
One of such prophesies in Amos 9:14,15 says “I will bring back the captives of My people Israel; …I will plant them in their land, and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land I have given them,” says the Lord your God.’

With faith in God’s promises, many Jews began to migrate back to their ancient homeland in Palestine. Though the Arabs who were occupying the land and the British government who controlled the region, tried to restrict their access, the Jews found ways to legally and illegally enter the land.

With their return an incredible miracle of restoration began to take place. Through agricultural innovations, they turned the sandy desert lands of Palestine into a blossoming fruitful land.
In 1948 the Jews would fight for and win their war of independence leading to the emergence of the modern nation of Israel.
Though the Jews virtually lost everything after World War 2, today, they have indeed experienced a great recovery. Through God’s help, they have risen from their ashes to be counted among the top nations of the world.

Indeed it is never over until God says so.
It doesn’t matter how far you may have fallen or what you may have lost, through God’s help you can always bounce back and recover all.

One day the Amalekites swept down on the home of King David and his men, burning everything and taking their families captive. David and his men lifted up their voices and wept, until they had no more power to weep.
However, despite this tragedy, David did something remarkable, he sought the face of God and God told Him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all,”.
In obedience to God’s Word, David and his men went after the enemy, eventually overtook them and indeed recovered all.

Likewise, we can always recover every lost ground, by doing what David did.
No matter the loss, we should always strengthen ourselves in the Lord and follow His Word.
Today, no matter what you may have lost in your health, finance or relationships, be assured that through God’s help, you can have complete recovery and bounce back even better.
Despite the setback, you are going to have an amazing comeback. Don’t ever give up, keep trusting God’s promises.
Certainly, you shall rise again.
A knock down, only becomes a knock out, if you stay down and refuse to get up.

Proverbs 24:16 says that though the righteous may fall seven times, yet they will rise again.

Certainly, you can rise better and greater from any situation. And if perhaps, you feel like you have wasted time or even years of your life, be assured that God can give you divine recovery of every lost time..
God is the creator of time and He knows how to compress it in your favor.

In Joel 2:25 God promises to restore to us the years that the canker worm has eaten…
Joel 2:26 says You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; and My people shall never be put to shame”.

Certainly, by God:s grace we shall never be put to shame.
Therefore, in this second half of the year, let us be expectant of great things. It is certainly our season to truly see God’s wonders as we pursue to overtake and recover all.

PRAYER: Lord, Please help me to pay the price of spending quality time in Your Word so that my faith can be strengthened to pursue, overtake and recover every lost ground. I thank You Lord for indeed exceeding all my expectations in Jesus Name.

JULY 1; OUR TURNAROUND SEASON OF VICTORY.

Psalm 30:5 “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.’

DAILY READING – 2 Thessalonians 1; Isaiah 25-26; Psalm 117

The “Miracle on Ice” was an ice hockey game, between the U.S and Soviet Union during the 1980 Winter Olympics.
This game was called a miracle because of the surprising win of the U.S team against all odds..
The Soviet hockey team were the super stars who had won the gold medal in five of the six previous Winter Olympics. They had also beaten the U.S in all the games between 1960 and 1980.
And so during the semifinal game of the 1980 winter Olympics, the Soviet team was again clearly expected to beat the U.S.
Moreover, the players in the Soviet team were mature professionals with significant experience in international play, while by contrast, the United States’ team were amateur and untested college players. They were the youngest team in the tournament and also the youngest in U.S. national team history.
In an exhibition game played a week earlier, the Soviet team had walloped the amateur U.S team 10-3.
And so the Soviets were expected to easily skate their way to another gold.

But that was not what happened! In the epic semi-final match on February 1980, the tables suddenly turned.
Initially in the game, the Soviets were leading 3–2, but after the first half, as the second half progressed, amazingly, the amateur US team, began to gain the upper hand.
In the final seconds of the game, an astonished sports commentator for ABC News, Al Michaels, yelled to the Television audience “Do you believe in miracles? YES!”

It became a “miracle on ice,” as the bunch of amateur American players finally beat the renowned Soviet hockey team; 4–3 and eventually carried home the gold medal.
The unexpected victory of the US team became one of the most iconic moments in sports history. Sports Illustrated magazine called it the ‘greatest sports moment of the 20th century’. The International Ice Hockey Federation named it the best international ice hockey story of the past 100 years.

The truth is that in the game of life, the tables are not static, they can turn at any time.
Therefore, if in the first half of the year, it had seemed as if you were not winning in your game, then get ready, because in this second half, something is about to happen!
Indeed the game is about to suddenly change in your favor!

Though you may have been digging with limited results, suddenly, out of the ordinary, God will cause you to strike gold.
No matter the experience of the year’s first half, you are about to take that one step that will put you into overflow.

We recognize that we serve the God of sudden visitations. As we concern ourselves with honoring God, He can suddenly tip the scale of His blessings in our direction.

In this seventh month of July, it is our season of divine perfection and sudden elevation. We shall be receiving the overtaker’s anointing for speedy accomplishments.

In this season the Everlasting arm of the Almighty will take us to unimaginable heights that will indeed turn us into a sign and a wonder to everyone.

Indeed by the Blood of Jesus, we have entered into our turnaround season of testimonies. Every sadness is about to be converted to gladness and every disappointment into a blessing. Though weeping may have endured for a night, certainly joy is about to break forth.

The secret to a divine turnaround is to keep making God our number one priority. Certainly when you place God first, you can never be last.
Therefore in this season, let us draw closer to God through a diligent commitment of studying the Word, prayers, worship and giving towards the Gospel.
As we remain full of faith and keep giving God all the glory, God will grant us ease and speed, and restoration of every lost ground.
Any harvest of our blessings for this year, that is not yet showing any sign of manifesting, by the sudden acts of God, they shall speedily be released to us.
It is certainly our season of amazing grace and strength, to pursue overtake and recover all.

PRAYER;
Father, I thank You for bringing me into this second half of the year. I am truly grateful Lord. I know it is indeed my season to see greater dimensions of Your miracle, signs and wonders in all my endeavors in Jesus Name.
