NOVEMBER 18; FAITH TO OVERCOME THE WORLD!

1John 5:4 ‘For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.’

DAILY READING; • Matthew 17; Numbers 3-4; Ecclesiastes 3:16-4:16

Reverend Henry B. Garlock was a missionary to Africa in the 1920s and 30s. His book titled ‘Before We Kill and Eat You’ captures his adventures in Africa.
He and his wife arrived in Liberia in 1922, on a dangerous assignment to preach to a small tribe in the interior of Liberia called the Pahns. No missionaries had ever before worked with the Pahns because they were cannibals. The Garlocks set up camp with a group of African Christians whose tribal boundary touched that of the Pahns.
One day, one of the natives working with Garlock as a messenger was captured by these cannibals. He took some few men and embarked on a journey into Pahn country in an attempt to rescue the imprisoned man, before he could be eaten.
However, in the process, he was captured himself and the men with him ran away. He was surrounded by a yelling crowd of Pahns, armed with spears, knives and hatchets.
Praying all the time, Garlock asked God for wisdom.
The witchdoctor stood up in the crowd and shook a reed wand at Garlock and for about an hour he harangued the missionary in their language.
Though he didn’t understand what was being said, yet Garlock found that peace flooded his heart as he felt the presence of the Holy Spirit. He recalled the words of Jesus from Matthew 10: “Do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.”
When the witch doctor finished talking, Garlock felt a strange faith and boldness come upon him and he began to speak in tongues.
The effect of his speaking in tongues was startling to the Pahns. As they leaned forward, enthralled, Garlock realized that he must be speaking the language of the Pahns.
After 20 minutes, as suddenly as it had come, the supernatural language ceased. Something Garlock must have said while speaking under the power of the Spirit convinced the amazed Pahns to release him and the captured messenger.
The Pahn chief even gave them two of his own men to guide them through the jungle back to their station!
This incident opened the way for the Pahns to eventually receive the Gospel and give up their cannibalism.

Certainly, no situation is too hard for anyone who has faith. Abandoned by his men and faced with death Reverend Garlock was delivered through his faith in God and guidance of the Spirit. .
In times of trouble the depth of our faith can make the difference between life and death. We therefore have a personal responsibility to build up our faith as our guarantee of deliverance from any tight or tough spot in life.
To be victorious in trials, we must keep our gaze on God’s Word. There is deliverance power and wonder-working power in the Word.
Even in situations where it may look like you are surrounded or there seems to be no way out, always be assured that Jesus is always the way-maker and miracle worker.
As long as we abide in faith and stay focused on His Word, He will carry out an amazing rescue operation to deliver us, in ways and means we could never have fathomed.
This is why in times of trials, rather than focus on how bad the problem, keep the focus on how big your God is.
As long as our faith is in Him, He is able to deliver from every trouble and make a way where there seems to be no way.
This is why we should use every opportunity to build up our faith through diligent study of the Word and fellowship with the Spirit. As long as our faith in God remains strong we will always overcome.

What dominates your heart will determine your response to issues of life. The more God’s Word dominates our heart the more we will react in faith to whatever comes our way. If you lack the Word, you will automatically react in fear and fear is what breeds failure and defeat. But when faith in God dominates our heart, certainly, we can be sure of victory at all times.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for causing me to keep growing from strength to strength; and from victory to victory. Please help me to continually build up my faith through diligent study of Your Word so that I can always overcome the world in Jesus Name

NOVEMBER 17; OVERCOMING POWER OF THE CROSS…

Galatians 2:20 ‘I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.’

DAILY READING ; Matthew 16; Numbers 1-2; Ecclesiastes 3:1-15

Darryl Strawberry was one of the most electrifying players in Major League Baseball history. He reached the peak of success, winning several awards and was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated seven times. However achieving greatness almost led him to self-destruction.
Darryl had started his sports career with the New York Mets. There, older players introduced the 21-year-old Darryl to cocaine.
From then on, while his career outwardly skyrocketed, he began dying on the inside as he became addicted to drugs.
Becoming rich and famous, he lived a lifestyle of womanizing, drinking and drug addiction. However he remained miserable and there was an emptiness inside of him.
In 1991, he attended a convention by evangelist Morris Cerello where he gave his life to Christ. But though he got saved, he didn’t submit to spiritual discipline and soon went back to the familiar lifestyle of sin.
Despite more than $30 million in earnings, he came to financial ruin. His life became shaken by drug and alcohol abuse, adultery, imprisonment, and bouts with colon and kidney cancer.
When he had lost virtually everything, and almost lost his life, God made it clear that he needed to center his life on Christ.
He therefore fully surrendered to Christ and committed to a life of seeking God’s Word. He later began serving as a pastor, going into prisons and preaching the Gospel, and eventually established the Darryl Strawberry Foundation.
At Liberty University’s Convocation on 12th October 2015, he shared his life story and concluded by saying;
“I have been crucified with Christ,” he said. “My life has been transformed. I no longer live, it is Christ who lives through me.”
Indeed Darryl Strawberry’s transformation from drug addict to pastor and soul winner is a miraculous testimony of the deliverance power of the cross.

Galatians 2:20 says ‘I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.’

The moment we give our lives to Christ we begin the most important race of our lives. However, though we may start well, as the race progresses, we often face hurdles of temptations and struggle with sin.
No matter how much a man desires to be good, until he has crucified his sinful flesh nature, he may find himself going back to his vomit and former lifestyle.
This is why we need to continually come to God’s Word to receive the power to overcome.
The transformation power that Christ purchased for us at the Cross is embedded in God’s Word. As we look into the Word, we receive the power to be transformed into the image of Christ. As many as receive the Word, also receive the power to become the sons of God.
Trying to live the Christian life by our own strength will only lead to failure. But as we connect to God’s Word and begin to engage the power in the Blood against the forces of sin, we will experience continual victory.
The deeper we go into God’s Word, the more the nature of God takes us over and the more the temptations of the sin and the flesh dies in us.
Anyone who is serious about living for God must accept the spiritual responsibility of daily coming to the Word so as to receive faith and power to live a victorious Christian life.
As believers in these last days we can’t afford to be spiritually lazy. With the increasing tempo of temptations and spiritual warfare, we must be ready to engage the power of the Blood against every assault of hell.

There is power in the Blood to break every chain and bondage and give you a complete change of story. Indeed by the Blood you can experience a total turn around in every area of your life. There is power in the Blood to overcome every sickness, financial troubles, relationship crisis, trials and temptations.
It doesn’t matter the battle you may face today, as you engage the great mystery of the Blood, you will overcome every mystery of iniquity and silence every opposition to your progress in life and destiny.

PRAYER: Lord I thank You for the power that is in the Blood of Jesus. Today as I begin to engage the weapon of the Blood against every challenge, I know that my victory is continually assured in Jesus Name.

NOVEMBER 16; DO NOT FEAR, ONLY BELIEVE..

Mark 9:23 says ‘Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.’

DAILY READING; Matthew 15:21-39; Leviticus 26-27; Ecclesiastes 1:12-2:26

When Christopher Pylant was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour, medical experts in Georgia, told his parents that there was no hope. But his parents who were faith-filled Christians refused to believe this negative verdict. They realized that they were dealing with more than physical sickness, it was a spiritual attack by the enemy against their child’s life.
They then began praying to God to lead them to a Christian neurosurgeon. They felt led to travel to Baltimore to meet Dr. Ben Carson.
However, after studying the x-rays, Dr. Carson was forced to also tell them what the other specialists had said; it was indeed an untreatable tumor.
But again they refused to believe this negative verdict and insisted that God was going to heal their son.
Ben Carson then promised to do his best and joined faith with them to begin praying for a miracle.
During his first operation on the boy’s brain, Dr. Carson saw that the brain stem appeared to have been consumed by the cancer, and there seemed to be no life. Despite this sad news, the parents never wavered in their faith. They insisted ‘God is going to heal our son. We’re standing on His promise.’
For three days little Christopher was comatose, but surprisingly Dr. Carson began to notice some improvements in him. He then carried out two more operations on the boy’s brain and after removing the cancerous mass, to his surprise, he found a healthy brain stem that was intact!
It was an amazing miracle!
The boy’s health began to rapidly improve and days later he was fully recovered and discharged to go home.
This miracle transformed Ben Carson’s perception of faith in God. It also affected the perception of another doctor in the medical team who was an atheist. He was so amazed by this miracle that he became a believer.
Christopher Pylant and his father Neal Pylant have shared their incredible story in the book ‘A Touch from Heaven: A Little Boy’s story of Surgery, Heaven and Healing’.

Truly God is Omnipotent, and All-mighty! All power in Heaven and on earth belongs to Him. There is no limit to what He can do.
When we hold on relentlessly to His Word, we are on our way to seeing His signs and wonders.
Even when facing situations that seem impossible in the natural, when we dare to believe God, He can confound men’s negative verdicts.

In Mark chapter 5:22, Jairus was with Jesus, when people came to tell him that his 12 years old daughter was already dead. But Jesus turned to him and said ‘Do not be afraid, only believe.’

In other words, Jesus was telling him that despite how bad the situation might seem, if only he would stay in faith, he would see a miracle.
If perhaps you are faced with any discouraging situation today, Jesus is saying the same thing to you ’Do not be afraid, only believe’.
Jesus never asked anyone for their medical history or their doctor’s opinion, before healing them. It didn’t matter how bad, incurable or difficult the condition, as soon as Jesus appeared, every knee bowed, every demon fled, every sickness and disease disappeared.
Therefore today, cast away every doubt and keep your eyes on Jesus. Let your creed become ‘God says it, I believe and that settles it’
Learn to starve your fear and feed your faith through meditation in God’s Word.
As you stay in meditation, the Holy Spirit will begin to paint in your mind the picture of victory through the Scriptures. And as you keep confessing what God has said concerning you, Heaven will initiate a divine orchestration of events for an eventual manifestation of God’s Word in your life.
Surely, as you stand in faith, all the forces of darkness cannot stop you from experiencing your miracle.
Therefore today, keep believing everything God has said about you and keep confessing it. What men may have termed impossible with you, God will disappoint their verdict.
Though the experts said it cannot be done, God will overturn those negative reports and establish His own good report of signs and wonders in your life.

PRAYER: Father, I am grateful for the wonders You are set to unveil in my life in this season. Thank You for granting me the grace to diligently study Your Word so that faith can arise in my heart to believe You for my miracles in Jesus Name.

NOVEMEBR 15; FAITH TO POSSESS YOUR PORTION.

Joshua 1:9 ‘Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.’

DAILY READING – Matthew 15:1-20; Leviticus 24-25; Ecclesiastes 1:1-11

David Hogan has been serving as a missionary in southeastern Mexico since the mid-1970s. Through his ministry about 600 churches have been started and there has been overwhelming number of healings, including many people being raised from the dead.
Interestingly, the first time he ever heard the Lord tell him to raise the dead he was too scared to do anything. At the beginning of his ministry in Mexico, a 14 year old boy had drowned in the river and David Hogan who was at the scene had clearly heard Jesus telling him to pray and raise the dead boy. However when he saw the crowd of unbelievers standing there declaring that the boy was dead, he became so filled with doubt and fear that he did not obey.
When he left that place, afterwards he was filled with remorse and grief for not boldly obeying the Lord.
Two months later, he was preaching in a small village in Mexico, when an Indian man asked him to follow him home to heal his dying son. But by the time they got to his home, the boy had already dead. Standing around the dead boy were two black magic warlocks and two spiritist healers who had come from the village to heal him but had failed to do so.
The boy’s father then turned to David Hogan and asked him to do something. Again, doubt, unbelief and fear began to grip him, but this time, he was determined to obey God. So he began to pray. He prayed in tongues, also prayed in English, Spanish and Indian languages, but nothing happened. However, he continued to pray fervently calling severally upon the Name of Jesus.
Just when he was about to conclude that his prayer would not work, the boy jerked back to life.
This first experience of raising the dead gave him a deep insight about exercising faith even in the face of adverse circumstances. In his book titled ‘“Faith to Raise the Dead”, he wrote, ‘The most valuable thing you have is to seek Jesus. It’s not how well you speak. It’s not how well you pray.. It’s how well you can speak “I love you Jesus. I need you Jesus. Absorb me Jesus. Possess me Jesus.”

Indeed, to succeed in the assignment God has called us to, we need to constantly keep our eyes on Jesus. Without Him we can do nothing, but through Him, we can do all things.
No matter how dead any situation or how adverse any circumstance, through the power in the Name of Jesus there can be a divine reversal.
To do the work of the Lord, we need supernatural boldness imparted into our hearts. This is because, as we start out on our journey, we will be confronted by giants, battles, and all manner of fearful challenges.
Except the Spirit of God emboldens us and goes with us we may be too afraid to make any move. We need the Holy Spirit to quicken us and strengthen us even when it looks like nothing is going to work. As we continually fill our heart with the Word, the Holy Ghost will impart into our hearts the faith we need to overcome the world.
When Joshua was about to go forth with the army of Israel to possess the promised land, God commanded him to meditate on the Word day and night, by so doing he will be strong, courageous, and not be afraid or dismayed.
Likewise to possess our promised land and come into our inheritance of wonders this year, we must be filled with faith through constant meditation in the Word.
While fear comes from looking at the impossibilities in the world, faith comes from looking at the possibilities in God’s Word.
Even when outward circumstances appear too difficult, through faith in God’s Word we can experience a supernatural turnaround.
Certainly today, as we keep blessing God and keep declaring Him faithful, surely He will show up and establish His Word and cause us to experience our own portion of wonders and miracles this year.

PRAYER: Lord, please enable me to meditate constantly on Your Word so that I can have the faith to possess my inheritance of wonders this year. By Your grace what looks impossible to men will surely become possible in my life in Jesus Name. .

NOVEMBER 14; SEEKING DEEP TREASURES.

Mathew 13:44 ‘Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field

DAILY READING – • Matthew 14:22-36; Leviticus 22-23; Proverbs 31

From 1701, Spain sent fleets of ships to the Western Hemisphere to bring back natural resources, including gold and silver. These groups of ships were heavily fortified against pirates, but there was little that could be done to protect them from bad weather.
In 1715, at the height of its empire, Spain assembled one of the richest treasure fleets ever seen: Eleven ships, all filled with silver, gold, pearls and emeralds from the New World. The ships left Cuba just before hurricane season in the hope of deterring pirates, but a few days later a storm sank all 11 ships, sending thousands of sailors and tons of treasure to the bottom of the sea. Though so far seven of the ships have been found, that is only a small percentage of the treasures have been recovered.
According to UNESCO, an estimated 3 million shipwrecks are spread across ocean floors around the world.
Some of these were sunk during wars, for instance during World War II, the battle of the Atlantic alone, claimed over 3,500 merchant vessels, 175 warships, and 783 submarines. However the more interesting shipwrecks, are the cargo ships carrying treasures, many of which sank carrying their treasures with them. Today, these treasures lying under the world’s sea beds are worth billions of dollars.
It is interesting that with all these treasures lying beneath the seas, less than one percent of these shipwrecks have been explored. The question is; why is everyone not out there digging up these treasures? Because the cost to access them is not cheap. Buried thousands of feet under the sea, it requires great funds, equipment, time and tireless search to locate them. This is a price, not everyone is willing to pay.

In the same way The Word of God is full of treasures of wisdom and knowledge for every believer. However, these treasures are only accessible to those who are willing to pay the price to diligently seek for them. They are not in the shallow end they are stored up in the depth of the Word of God.

Jesus told Peter in Luke 5 to launch out into the deep and let down your net for a draught.
Here He was showing us that it is only when you launch out into the deep that you can find the wonders of a net breaking catch and overflow of abundance.

Launching out into the deep in our relationship with God, will cause us to experience wonders in life.
Whatever we need in life, we can obtain them through going deeper in our relationship with God. Indeed God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think according to the power that works in us. It is His power at work in us that causes signs and wonders and brings divine supplies and all else we need in life.
During His earthly ministry, Jesus never bothered about supplies because He had God’s Presence and power around Him. Through God’s Presence, Jesus could multiply loaves and fishes, turn water into wine, bring money out of the mouth of the fish to pay taxes, have people give him their donkeys and houses without fee. The truth is that He didn’t need money, God’s Presence guaranteed supernatural supplies and favor.
When we find God’s Presence we have found life’s greatest treasure. Good things are found in Him. Everything we need in life, are all found in Him.
Indeed the greatest treasure we can ever find is to know the reality of God. When you find God’s tangible Presence, faith and confidence will dominate your life, and miracles will naturally flow around you.
Certainly, the spiritual treasure of God’s Presence is available to us if only we become willing to pay the required price to gain access into the depth where He dwells.
Let us therefore commit today to seek God on a deeper dimension. Let us go deeper in our Word study, prayers, fasting, praise and other spiritual exercises.
Certainly, when we seek God’s Presence and find it, we have found life’s greatest treasure!

PRAYER: Father please help me to seek You like never before. I know indeed that when I find You, I have found life’s greatest treasure. Please grant me the grace to move from the shallow waters to the depth of The Word where Your Presence abides in Jesus’ Name.

NOVEMBER 13: FAITH FOR DIVINE MULTIPLICATION

Deutronomy 2:2 ‘Moses speaking said ‘And the LORD spake unto me, saying, 3 Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.’

DAILY READING Matthew 14:1-21; Leviticus 20-21; Proverbs 30

‘Race’ is the title of a 2016 sports drama film about African-American athlete Jesse Owens. He was a legendary athlete who broke world records and won four gold medals at the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games.

Interestingly, Jesse Owens started out in life with virtually nothing. He was the son of a sharecropper and the grandson of slaves, Jesse Owens grew up as a frail child who was often sick from battles with chronic bronchial congestion and pneumonia. Still, he was expected to work, like every other member of his family. At the young age of seven he was picking up to 100 pounds of cotton a day, to help his family put food on the table. When a teacher suggested that he take up sports as a way for improving his poor health, the family could not afford a sporting equipment. But since, at least he had fast legs, he decided to put them to good use by running. The more he ran, the more his potentials as a good athlete began to manifest. Indeed as he began to do what he could, with the little he had, God blessed his efforts.

At High School, Owens quickly made a name for himself as a nationally recognized sprinter, setting records in the 100 and 200-yard dashes as well as the long jump. After graduating, Owens enrolled at Ohio State University, where he continued to flourish as an athlete.
Jesse Owens earned the title of “fastest man on Earth” at a Big Ten meet in which he broke three world records (long jump, 220 yard sprint, and 220 hurdles) and tied the world record for the 100 yard dash.
Next came the 1936 Olympics, taking place in Berlin, Germany which gave Owens the opportunity to greatly display his athletic ability. With his stunning achievement of four gold medals won in the 100 meter, 200 meter, long jump, and the 4×100 relay – Jesse Owens overwhelmingly became an Olympic legend.
His winning of four gold medals was not matched until almost 50 years later when Carl Lewis won gold in the same events at the 1984 Olympics.
Jesse Owens’ dominance of the 1936 Olympic games made him arguably the most famous Olympian in history.

Though your beginning may be small, through God’s help, your later end can be great. Jesse Owens started out only having his legs, but he ended up leaving giant footprints in history.

No matter how little or inconsequential your talent or ability, when you turn it over to God, it will become greatly multiplied.
When the widow required prophet Elisha’s help to pay off her husband’s creditor, so that her two boys would not become slaves, Elisha asked her, ‘Tell me, what do you have in your house?”
She said she had nothing except a jar of oil. However through God’s power, the oil was multiplied to meet all her needs.

Though you may not seem to have much, as you entrust God with the little you have, He can do great things with it
The sin of the servant that was given one talent was thinking it was too little and hiding it in the ground.
Many of us have been going around the same spots in life, with the excuse that we don’t have much;
not enough education, not enough financial backing, connections etc.
But it is really time to look inward and look up to God. We don’t need more than God to succeed in life.

In Deutronomy 2:2 Moses speaking said ‘And the LORD spake unto me, saying, Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.’

God was asking them to stop going around in circles. It is time to go forward.
We are in the year of wonders.. Enough of making excuses, it is time to move forward. No matter what little you may have, with God on your side you will surely end this year as a wonder.
You can’t afford to continue to be a spectator as others experience their miracles.
Study the Word to be filled with faith and then begin to claim the prophecies over your life this year.
As you sincerely begin to seek God fervently and hand over your endeavors to Him, He will multiply your little into overflowing abundance.
One way to engage God’s multiplying ability is through the force of praise. You gain altitude through expressing gratitude. You’ll never drop in altitude unless you drop in gratitude.
Turn your worry into worship and watch God turn your battles into blessings. Truly, as you engage the force of praise, God will surely turn every test into a testimony for you.

PRAYER: Lord, please give me the wisdom to utilize the gifts and talents that You have given me. As I make the most of what is available, please do for me exceedingly, abundantly above all I could ever ask or imagine in Jesus Name.

NOVEMBER 12; PERSISTENT FAITH BIRTHS MIRACLES.

Matthew 17:20 ‘for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

F. F. Bosworth was a frontier evangelist, a pioneer Christian radio broadcaster and one of the most successful healing evangelists of the 1920s.
One of the remarkable miracles from his ministry was the amazing healing of a nine-year-old girl named Raffaela Serio who had been diagnosed with sarcoma cancer of the left breast. In 1925, a specialist doctor told her parents that the cancer was rooted too deeply for surgery and he could do little for her since not much was known about cancer at the time The doctor then prescribed a special brown salve to be applied on the affected area each day. However, Raffaela’s doctors saw slim chance for any recovery.
Around this time Evangelist F. F. Bosworth came to hold a crusade in their town in Scranton Pennsylvania.
The parents attended the meeting to hear F. F. Bosworth preach on Christ’s salvation and divine healing. They purchased a copy of Bosworth’s book ‘Christ the Healer’, which would become a Christian classic on the power of Christ to heal. For the next week, they read portions of the book aloud to their daughter Raffaela so that she could understand the Biblical promise of healing in Christ.
With their faith greatly increased, the family drove back to the crusade the following Sunday. During the time of prayer for healing, F. F. Bosworth prayed for the little girl asking God to make her healing a living monument for His praise and glory.
When they returned home later that night, her mother got the salve ready for Raffaela’s daily treatment, but she looked at her mother in astonishment and said “Why, mother dear, where is your faith? Didn’t you hear the preacher say that Jesus healed me? I don’t need any more bandages. I am healed.”
Though the large lump nor the swelling from beneath her arm to her collarbone had gone away, the little girl had begun to see herself through the eyes of faith.
By the next morning the astonished parents saw that all the swelling from the collarbone and under the arm was gone! Shortly after, every other sign of cancer had disappeared completely!
The little girl was miraculously healed through the faith that arose in her heart from hearing God’s Word and as she claimed her healing it came into manifestation.

When the light of revelation from God’s Word floods your heart, you can boldly confront any challenge and walk away victorious.
Revelation births faith, which is the covenant trigger for the manifestation of God’s power. Faith is a spiritual explosive that destroys all afflictions of the devil and establishes the dominion of the saints.
Jesus has given us the power to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over every power of the enemy. But the reason why sometimes negative situations seem to linger is because of not receiving the appropriate revelation from God’s Word that can deal with that situation.
We need to hear God’s Word until we can see the possibility of our miracles.
When God’s Word is revealed to us and we claim it by faith, our victory over negative conditions become guaranteed.
As we stand in faith and boldly declare our expectations, Power will be released for a performance.
Certainly, God confirms the Words of His servants and performs the counsel of His messengers.

We serve the Covenant keeping God, who is always faithful to His Word. Certainly, when we refuse to walk by sight but rather walk by faith, we will reap the harvest of His Promises to us.
To see the manifestation of God’s promises in our lives we must be persistent in faith. When you continue to sow the seed of God’s Word into your heart and refuse to be swayed by obvious or contrary circumstances, in due season you will surely reap your miracle.
Even if there seems to be a delay of expectations, we must refuse to get easily discouraged.
Therefore In this season, let us keep believing God for our supernatural turnaround, miraculous healings, signs and wonders.
Certainly, as we remain persistent in faith and diligent in seeking God’s face, we will soon experience overflow and abundance of blessings in every area of our lives.

PRAYER;
Lord I thank You for the release of supernatural faith in my heart to believe You for my own miracles. You are forever faithful and You never fail and I know that even right now You are performing amazing wonders in my life in Jesus Name.

NOVEMBER 11; FAITH DEMANDS OBEDIENCE..

Deuteronomy 5:33 “Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.”

DAILY READING; Matthew 13:1-23; Leviticus 17-18; Proverbs 28.

On September 12, 2021, a miracle occurred in Israel when a four story apartment building in a Tel Aviv suburb, collapsed a day after its residents were evacuated.
The situation came very close to becoming a mass-casualty disaster resembling the collapse of the high-rise residential building in Florida, in June 2021, which killed 98 people.
But the residents of this Israeli building were saved due to their prompt obedience to the instructions to evacuate.
On September 11, residents reported cracks on the walls of the building and inability to open the front doors of their apartments. After engineers were called in and the situation was assessed, a decision to immediately evacuate the building was reached. Police officers closed off the street, knocked hard on every door and took the residents out of the building. Most of the residents were not ready for an immediate evacuation and it was very inconveniencing for them. It was a chaotic scene as 36 families were moved out with people in their pajamas, babies crying and bags being packed in a hurry.
However, hours after the evacuation, by the next day, the building suddenly collapsed on its own. There were no casualties because no one was inside. The residents became very thankful to God because their lives had been saved through prompt obedience to the instruction to evacuate even when it was not convenient.

Doing the right thing may not always seem convenient, but it can save our lives.
Whatever God says to us we must promptly obey for our own benefit. Sometimes God may instruct us to ‘evacuate’ from certain relationships, environments or activities. Though we may not find it convenient at the moment, yet we have to obey in faith trusting that God knows what is best.

The truth is that it is not everything God tells us to do that is easy or convenient. But we do not serve God as convenient, we serve as commanded.
Obedience may be costly, but the rewards are priceless.
Sometimes we can sense the Holy Spirit tugging us to go in certain directions; He may be prompting us to study the Word more, spend more time in prayer, spend time in fasting, spend time in God’s Presence, yet it may not always seem convenient due to our tight schedule.
But we can never be too busy to obey God..Some of those urgent divine instructions could actually be aimed at saving our lives. God alone knows the future and it pays to obey His leadings.

In the journey of life, the path of obedience to God is always the safest path to follow. Even if God’s instructions seem inconvenient, it is the highway out of every destruction. The truth is that you can never fall standing on God’s Word.
We must not promote convenience or comfort above doing the will of God because today’s enjoyment could lead to suffering tomorrow.

Prompt Obedience means doing anything God commands us to do regardless of our feelings.

Life becomes sweet when we become swift in obedience. That is the way to be delivered from temptations and every evil plan of the wicked.
Our lives flow in miracles, signs and wonders when we are intentional in obeying God’s instructions.
Oftentimes when we ask God for a miracle, He gives us instructions to obey. It is our prompt response to these instructions that will determine God’s response to us.
Delayed obedience could lead to delayed answers to prayer because God cannot bless you beyond your last act of obedience; when you stop obeying, His blessings stop flowing.
Therefore today, let us commit ourselves to prompt obedience to God’s Word. Let us walk in all the ways He commands us so that we may live, and that it may be well with us [Deuteronomy 5:33]

PRAYER: lord, I thank You for granting me the grace to always walk in Obedience to Your every instruction. Thank You Lord, for enabling me to continuously meditate on Your Word so that I can have the faith to promptly obey You at all times in Jesus Name.

NOVEMBER 10; ENGAGING THE POWER OF FAITH .

Zechariah 9: 11-12 ‘ As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water. Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even today do I declare that I will render double unto thee’

DAILY READING; Matthew 12:22-50; Leviticus 15-16; Proverbs 27

Alice Marie Johnson lived a stable life as a manager at FedEx, a wife, and a mother until a financially tumultuous period in her life turned things upsidedown. After losing her job, she began to help drug sellers distribute drugs as a way of paying off her mounting debts. In 1996, she and her daughter, Catina, were arrested for involvement in a cocaine trafficking organization.
In this time of trouble, Alice turned to God promising to serve Him if only He would let her daughter, Catina be set free. God answered her prayers and the charges against Catina were dropped. In keeping to her promise Alice began serving God, even though she herself received a life sentence for her criminal activities.
Locked behind bars, prison officers told her that she would not leave prison until she died. But she refused to believe them, rather she relied on the faith that God was able to do a miracle to set her free.
One day she had a dream where she was set free from prison and also other prisoners told her about having dreams of her release from prison in which the media covered the event.
Alice became an ordained minister in the prison and helped to mentor other imprisoned women.
In 2017, she was selected by Google to speak from prison at a YouTube Summit on criminal justice reform. After the program, Alice was asked to do a short video opinion editorial. This video which dropped on October 23 2017 immediately went viral. Two days later on October 25, 2017, Kim Kardashian West happened to be scrolling through Twitter when she came across this four-minute video of Alice’s story.
She was so impressed that she took up Alice’s case, which was eventually brought to the attention of President Donald Trump. He granted Alice clemency in 2018 and she was freed from the prison in a media covered event that was aired nationally.
Her book titled ‘After Life: My Journey from Incarceration to Freedom’ captures her story of how her unshakeable faith in God helped to set her free from a lifetime imprisonment.

Alice’s story displays the power of faith. She was not the only woman serving a life sentence, but when she chose to engage her faith miracles began to happen.
Certainly, what we believe is what we receive in life.
There is, therefore need for us to grow in knowledge of God’s Word to obtain the faith that will establish our freedom from every form of bondage.
Christ has obtained mercy and deliverance for us at the cross. Therefore refuse every negative condition the enemy tries to impose on you. Perhaps the enemy is telling you that you will remain in the prison of sickness, poverty, unemployment, loneliness etc.. Refuse and refute those negative reports. You are serving the miracle-working God, who can do inexplicable wonders. As long as you have faith anything is possible in your life.
No matter how inescapable or insurmountable any obstacle, certainly, through the Blood there is victory for you.
Don’t accept that you will live in any bondage for the rest of your life. Perhaps they have said in your lineage certain negative traits obtain, but as a Blood-bought child of the living God, believe that your case is different.
By the Blood of Jesus you have been set free from every waterless pit.
Life is essentially a warfare. It is therefore time to engage the weapon of the Blood to secure your freedom from every demonic oppression. Redemption has re-positioned you for eternal victory over every curse of life.
Don’t watch what you don’t want. You have only one life and there is no duplicate or spare. Determine today by faith to break out of every spiritual captivity and begin to live the fruitful and fulfilling life that God has ordained for you.
It is unto every man according to his faith.
Therefore today, by faith, begin to proclaim that every siege of bondage is over in your life! Truly by the Blood you have been set free.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for the eternal victory You have given me through the precious Blood of Jesus. And today by the mystery of the Blood of Jesus I declare my freedom from every oppression and bondage in Jesus Name.

NOVEMBER 9; GOD IS IN PERFECT CONTROL.

Hebrews 1:3 ‘Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:’

DAILY READING; Matthew 12:1-21; Leviticus 14; Proverbs 26

In the US, the president has complete authority to launch nuclear weapons and he’s the only one that has the sole authority to do so.
Everywhere the US president goes, he is followed about by an aide carrying the nuclear “football”, which contains the launch codes for the nation’s nuclear weapons. Whether he’s up a mountain, travelling in a helicopter or sailing across the ocean, the president has the ability to launch a nuclear strike. All he has to do is say the words and nuclear attacks could be achieved within minutes.
Other leaders of nations with nuclear capability also carry around their “nuclear briefcase”. This is a specially outfitted briefcase used to authorize the use of nuclear weapons and is usually kept nearby the nation’s leader at all times.
However, there has been widespread speculation that concentrating such power within a single individual is a big risk.
The disturbing possibilities are that the president could make a wrong decision at a time when he is not functioning at his highest mental level.
An example of this was in August 1974, when US President Richard Nixon was embroiled in the Watergate scandal and on the cusp of resigning from office. He became clinically depressed and emotionally unstable and was reportedly subject to rage, drinking and potent prescription drugs. His emotional state became a great concern because as president he still had the power to launch nuclear weapons.
There have also been other instances where the nuclear “football” could have fallen into the wrong hands or where world leaders could have mistakenly started nuclear wars, yet God never allowed any of these to happen.

Truly, if the fate of the world was in the hands of humans, no one would be alive today. But because of the Lord’s mercies we have not been consumed, His mercies continue to preserve humanity from self-destruction.

Certainly God is in control and He is running things according to His divine agenda
We never have to worry about God’s capability in running the universe. He never sleeps nor slumbers. He never makes mistakes, or wonders what decision to take.
And just as He is in perfect control of the universe, so is He in perfect control of our lives. Before we were even conceived God considered everything that could affect our lives, including the course of world events. He even knows the number of hair that would be on our head (Luke 12:7)
Nothing happens without His permission and despite how uncertain things may sometimes seem, our lives are in His hands.

Indeed God upholds all things by the Word of His Power.
All we have to do is obey His Word and walk in faith and He will also uphold us by His Word.
Despite the fears and uncertainties in the world, God is able to keep us from all harm and perfect all that concerns us.
Indeed our safety and security are not in the hands of any man, or government, but in God’s hands.
This is why we do not have to fret or get distraught over the concerns of life.
Sometimes we get caught up in our own little problems and forget that God is always in perfect control. We fret over what to eat and drink and forget about the One who watches over the earth as it hurtles through space at about 67,000 mph in its orbit around the sun.
Our personal concerns pale in significance when compared to the vast workings of the universe. We must therefore trust that God who calls the stars by name and they stand up, is able to call forth signs and wonders in our lives.
No matter what may be your concern today, be rest assured that God is able to take care of it.
All you need to do is build up your faith through diligent study of the Word so as to believe for your miracle.
Certainly, when we believe all things shall be possible to us.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for the grace to continually fill my heart with Your Word, so that I can always walk in faith and trust You to do even the impossible in my life now and always in Jesus Name.
