In 2015, many media outlets reported the miraculous survival of a toddler who had drowned in a rushing stream. Two-year-old Gardell and two of his brothers had gone outside to play on March 11, 2015, when he fell into the stream that runs through their 5-acre property. He was immediately swept away by the fast-moving current.
When his 7-year-old brother, Greg, screamed that he couldn’t find Gardell, their mother, Rose Martin, ran outside to search for him. She soon realized that Gardell had likely fallen into the creek, which was swollen because of melting snow. She called 911 while her two teenage daughters began walking downstream in a frantic search for the toddler.
Rose prayed that God would cause somebody to find Gardell. The prayer was answered when a neighbor found him caught up in a tree branch with water gushing around him. His lifeless body was in a severe hypothermic condition. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors tried to revive him, but for over an hour he did not respond.
As their friends and families gathered in their local church to pray for divine intervention, a miracle began to take place.
After 1 hour and 41 minutes, doctors finally discovered a pulse. With each passing hour, Gardell improved quickly at a rate of recovery that was stunning and amazed the doctors.
As prayers continued, within two days of the catastrophe, Gardell was fully recovered and discharged to go home.
His amazing survival was celebrated as a testimony of God’s miracle-working power.

Psalm 9:9-10 says “The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.”
Translation of the word refuge means ‘security and protection in a high, safe place of retreat; a shelter from danger’.
As a child of God, you are divinely defended in your battles. God is your ever-abiding help and refuge.
He is your way-maker and light in the darkness.
He is always there to deliver those who trust in Him.
In Isaiah 41:10, God assures us of His divine help in every time of need, so that we do not have to fear or fret!
Truly, God is greater and higher than any mountain we may face. If you walk through any dark valley, always know that God is your strength and safe place.
As you continually fill your heart with His Word you will have the faith to always overcome the world.
Today, despite the difficulties that may confront you, through faith in God, you can surmount them all.
No matter the enemy’s plan to frustrate or hinder you, as you call upon God in faith, He will exceed your every expectation.
As we praise God today, let us stay expectant because sudden turnarounds and breakthroughs will erupt around us. God will miraculously turn every mourning into dancing and do wonders in our lives that will cause men to marvel.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for being my way-maker and miracle-worker. In every challenge, I know You are able to take care of me and enable me to overcome always in Jesus Name.

On January 24, 2015, 14 year old John Smith, and his friends Josh and Reiger, decided to skate on the ice-covered lake of St. Louis. But minutes later, the ice cracked, sucking all three boys into the water. Josh managed to crawl out. The fire department and police were immediately called to the scene. Firefighter Tommy Shine, along with his colleague rescued Reiger but couldn’t immediately locate John. The chances of finding him alive was now grim because John had been under water for 15 minutes. Their boss asked them to call off the search, but Firefighter Tommy Shine heard an inner voice instructing him to keep searching. Minutes later, they find John, but he was frozen and virtually dead with no pulse.
He was immediately rushed to the local hospital where doctors tried unsuccessfully for about an hour to find a pulse. By this time John’s mother had arrived at the hospital. The doctors eventually declared John clinically dead. But John’s mother, Joyce, a fervent Christian, refused to believe her son was dead. Standing by his bed, she cried out to God in a loud voice to bring him back to life.
Immediately after Joyce prayed, her son’s heart began beating once again. The doctors were utterly amazed. Soon, John was awake and alert.
John not only recovered fully from his brush with death, but he also did so with remarkable speed: Just three weeks after his lifeless body had been admitted to the hospital, John walked out the front door on his own two feet. Joyce wrote about the amazing testimony in her book ‘The Impossible’ which was made into the very successful movie ‘Breakthrough’.

We need to stand strong in the face of every trial of faith. No matter how the storm rages, we must continue to trust in God’s faithfulness against the obvious odds.
Faith doesn’t just look at the facts and give up. Faith looks at circumstances, that look like defeat and yet trusts God to overturn the verdicts.
Today, you may be facing situations that seem impossible, but when you dare to believe, God can do the incredible.
Despite what the experts may have said, God is able to miraculously reverse any negative condition for you.
We serve the God of miracles. He is the God of might and power, of glory and grace and eternal authority. To Him, nothing is ever impossible.
Nothing can stand against God’s plan for you when you believe. No disappointment, no setback, no injustice or enemy can hinder you. When you believe, all the forces of darkness cannot stop God’s plan from coming into manifestation in your life.
In every situation, let the revelation of God’s Word be more important to you than the happenings around you.. And as you continue to stand in faith and give all the glory to God, you will certainly experience His amazing rescue from every trouble, trial and tribulation. Rather than sink, you will soar to greater heights and keep breaking forth to glorious realms.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for causing me to keep growing from strength to strength; and from victory to victory. Please help me to continually build up my faith, so that I can always overcome the world in Jesus Name

The Watergate scandal was a major political scandal in the United States between 1972 and 1974 which implicated President Richard Nixon.
The Watergate operation and the intrigue surrounding it led to the criminal indictments and convictions of most of Nixon’s closest aides. Among those found guilty was Mr. Colson. Colson was Nixon’s top aide and ‘hatchet man’who on June 21, 1974 was sentenced to prison and fined $5,000. However in the heat of these problems Colson began to seek the face of God. As a result he became born again. Nevertheless he still went to prison and served seven months in Alabama’s Maxwell Prison. But while serving in prison, he began to sense that God had put him in prison for a purpose. At his release he announced that he would devote the rest of his life to serving God. In 1976, he founded Prison Fellowship Ministries, which delivers the message of redemption to thousands of prison inmates and their families. In 1983, he established Justice Fellowship, which is America’s largest religion-based criminal justice reform group. In 1993, he won the $1 million Templeton Prize for Progress in Religion, and by the end of the 1990s, Mr. Colson had become a leading voice in the evangelical political movement, with books and a syndicated radio broadcast.

Through God’s grace, new beginnings can be birthed in the place of dryness, deadness and hopelessness.
When God took Ezekiel to a valley of dry bones, the bones were dead and very dry. Yet God asked Ezekiel to prophesy. And when Ezekiel prophesied over the dry bones something began to happen. Ezekiel 37:7 says ‘So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.’

The noise and shaking began when Ezekiel began to prophesy. Before then, there was no movement, there was only stagnancy and deadness. But when Ezekiel began to prophesy, things began to happen, there was sudden movement and the bones began to come alive.
Things will happen when you choose to speak in faith despite the bleakness of your circumstances. As you do so, the wind of the Spirit will begin to blow and cause things to work together for your good.

Romans 8:28 says “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.’

Today, by God’s grace every valley of dry bones in our lives will birth life, fruitfulness , exploits and breakthroughs. As we begin to speak and make bold declarations over negative circumstances, surely we will experience a forceful turnaround and divine alignments of every issue of concern in our lives.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for granting me the grace to always stand firm in faith and declare Your Word over my situation. I know that even now You are causing all things to work together for my good in Jesus Name.

In early 2001, flooding affected over 335,000 people in Malawi. This destroyed crops, homes and possessions, and displaced thousands of people.
One of the families greatly affected was the Kamkwamba family who were farmers in the village of Masitala, in Malawi. Their 14 year old son, William had to drop out of school because of the resulting financial crisis. However having been taught faith by his Christian parents, William decided to trust the Lord to make a way for his education. He resorted to educating himself by frequenting the public library. One day, he came across a book titled ‘Using Energy.’ Though he could not understand much English, he followed the picture illustrations to try out the principles of electric generation from this book. This boy, who had never seen a computer, surprisingly, was able to build a windmill using materials collected from a local scrapyard.
He built a windmill powerful enough to run lights and water pumps for his poor village in Malawi.
His ingenuity caught the eye of a journalist who wrote about him. This brought fame to young William and attracted financial support that enabled him to return to school after a 5-year lapse.
William went on to become an international innovator, engineer, and author. His story has been captured in books and made into a Netflix movie.
William Kamkwamba continually credits God for his success and the inspiration that led to his inventions.

You may have been born into a disadvantaged background where it appears you were limited right from the start.
But even in the midst of what looks impossible, God is able to manifest Himself to you as a way-maker and barrier breaker. He can raise you up from the low places of life to sit with princes [Psalm 113:7-8].
Through faith in God, William Kamkwamba refused to accept his negative “fate” in life. By doing what he could with the little that he had, God multiplied his efforts.
Likewise, as you trust God and keep pressing forward, God will open for you doors no man can shut. He will cause you to be the one who blazes a new trail and breaks the barriers in your family.
God will use you to stop generational curses and start generational blessings.
Therefore, today, regardless of your current circumstances, determine to keep following God faithfully because He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. As you maintain your faith walk, soon you will experience a miraculous turnaround, divine acceleration, and breaking forth to enviable realms of exploits.

PRAYER; Lord, I know that You are in perfect control of my life. Please help me to always walk in faith, so that I can experience Your great plans for me. I know You will certainly exceed all my expectations this year in Jesus Name.

In the Exodus, about two million Jews journeyed in the wilderness for forty years. While Archeologists believe the site of Israel’s journey was through the Sinai Peninsula, their searches has not yielded any single evidence of such a massive journey. This led to strong speculations that they could be wrong about the site. This is supported by the fact that the Bible’s own description is different. According to Galatians. 4:25, Mount Sinai is located in Arabia, which is now Saudi Arabia.
In the 90’s two Christian researchers, decided to follow the Bible’s description and search for Mount Sinai in Saudi Arabia. Bob Cornuke is a crime scene investigator and the President of the Bible Archaeology Search and Exploration (BASE) Institute. With his friend Larry Williams they embarked on a secret journey to a restricted area in Saudi Arabia, where they believe the real Mt..Sinai is located.
Over several weeks, they found what they believed was the real route of the Exodus.
On this route, they found the items described in Exodus 13-19 including, springs, a split rock, an altar, an underwater land bridge where the people of Israel could have crossed the Red Sea. They also found a mountain, known by the locals as the Mount of Moses which fitted the Biblical description of Mt. Sinai.
What is interesting is that this entire area was fenced off by the Saudi authorities with warning signs in Arabic and English telling people not to enter.
The evidence gathered by Bob Cornuke and Larry Williams is published in their book “In search of the Mountain of God: The discovery of the real Mt. Sinai.”

Archeology always ends up confirming what the Bible says. It is only a matter of time before the evidence comes up. God’s Word is an infallible truth that is settled in Heaven forever.(Psalms 119:89).
In the same way no matter how contrary things may initially appear in our lives, what God has said concerning us abides true.
We have to understand that we are not an emergency project, God has already planned our lives and destiny from the foundation of the earth. His thoughts towards us are good, not evil, to bring us to the expected end He has planned for us.
But our level of faith determines what we can receive. It is only as far as our eyes can see, that will be given unto us.
This year’s prophecy says we are to break forth on every side. We must work on our faith until we can see ourselves actually experiencing amazing new levels of breakthroughs.
In our spiritual lives, let us also see ourselves as rising to greater levels of holiness, power, anointing and Christ-likeness.
Every genuine prophecy leaves you with a responsibility. It is only when you believe that you will see the performance.(Luke 1:45).
Certainly, whatever we can believe, we can conceive and achieve. As we walk in faith, surely we shall experience the speedy fulfillment of breaking forth to unprecedented new levels in all areas of our lives.

PRAYER: Lord, please grant me the grace to build up my faith through diligent study of Your Word and prayers. I thank You for the speedy manifestation of Your promises in my life in Jesus Name.

The first modern missionary to China was Robert Morrison.
He arrived in China on September 4, 1807, with the goal of evangelizing the country. But on arrival he was met by a ban on the preaching of the Gospel, with the penalty of a death sentence. The emperor of China had also pronounced the death sentence on any of its nationals who would teach a foreigner the Chinese language.
Under these challenging conditions, Morrison began his work as the first Protestant missionary to China.
Though he was aware of the dangers that surrounded his mission; he decided to trust in God and not give up on his divine assignment.
Soon after his arrival, he was expelled by the Chinese authorities from the city where he was residing, and he was forced to go into hiding. He tried to learn the Chinese language to enable him to preach the Gospel, but most of the Chinese people, afraid of the Emperor’s death penalty, refused to teach him.
But finally, bit by bit, he was able to learn the Chinese language and embarked on the translation of some Christian literature to Chinese. He subsequently became the first missionary to translate the New Testament Bible into the Chinese language, produce the first Chinese-English dictionary and grammar, and record the first conversions of Chinese people to Protestantism.
He achieved worldwide recognition for opening the door to the spread of the Gospel in China and inspired many other missionaries to follow in his footsteps.

Anyone aiming to accomplish something significant in life will face challenges. But the difference between the winners and losers is the way they view obstacles. While losers see setbacks as the end of the road, winners only see them as a bend in the road.
Winners never quit, and quitters never win.
Any time you face difficulties, always keep the channel for your miracle open by not giving up.
When God calls you to an assignment, He also goes with you to take care of obstacles. As you keep doing what you can do, God will do what you can’t do. Faithful is He who called you and who also will do it(1 Thessalonians 5:24).
Victory in your assignment will come as you stay rooted in the study of God’s Word, fervent prayers, and passionate praise.
Just as a seed planted in good ground will eventually break through the barriers of hard soil to sprout upward, likewise, a believer who is rooted in God will eventually break down barriers and break forth to fruitfulness.
When God is on your side, it is only a matter of time before you overcome limitations to your growth and progress.
Today, as you maintain your faith and continually give all the glory to God, something new and amazing will soon break forth in your life. God will make a way for you in every desert and cause rivers of abundance and blessings to overflow in your direction.

PRAYER: Lord, I praise You for enabling me to break through every barrier and limitations on my path. By Your grace, this is my time to experience unprecedented growth in all my endeavors and break forth on every side in Jesus Name.

Stephen Curry is an American basketball player who is considered the greatest pure shooter in National Basketball Association [NBA] history.
What is amazing is that Stephen Curry is also considered one of the smallest in height and lightest in weight in the history of the game. His size is a huge disadvantage in a game traditionally meant for very tall people.
In his early years, many people questioned his ability to play on the big-stage due to his lack of “NBA size and strength.”
To worsen matters, between 2011 and 2013, Stephen battled recurring ankle injuries and underwent surgery, leaving many to wonder if he had the physical durability to play at the professional level. But despite the setbacks, as a devoted Christian, Stephen relied on God to see him through.
Through hard work, he turned his relatively average height into an added advantage and developed great skills that led his team to win NBA championships.
Over the years, he has accomplished amazing feats and made such an astronomical impact that has fundamentally changed the way basketball is played.
Despite being considered undersized, through faith in God, he was able to demolish the barriers and limitations to become one of the greatest stars ever to play in the NBA.
Stephen who is outspoken about his Christian faith, constantly attributes his success to God.

As a child of God, you are born to win. Life’s disadvantages or limitations are not meant to defeat you. No matter how big the obstacle, God can turn it into a miracle.
On the journey to the promised land, God told the Israelites not to be afraid when confronting greater enemies in battle. Deuteronomy 20:3 -4 says “fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them; For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.”
As believers, no disadvantage or barrier is strong enough to hinder us. In Isaiah 45:2 God promises to go ahead of us to break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron.
Because God is for you, nothing can be against you. Through faith you have the victory that overcomes the world.
Where others fail, you are meant to breakthrough and excel.
God’s Presence makes the huge difference in our story. When God went before Israel on their journey to the promised land, the Bible says that the sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back. The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs. [Psalm 114.[
Indeed when God goes before you, barriers are converted to breakthroughs and stumbling blocks become stepping stones.
In this season as we engage barrier –breaking faith and yoke-destroying anointing of the Holy Spirit, every opposition on our path will be leveled. Through Christ’s Blood shed at Calvary our victory is guaranteed over every challenge.
Through the spotless Blood of the Lamb we have been redeemed from shame to enjoy the blessings of grace and excel in life’s race.

PRAYER: Father I thank You for the Power You have made available to me through the Blood of Jesus. Surely, my victory over every limitation is guaranteed and I will always emerge the winner in every conflict in Jesus Name.

Denise Uwimana is the author of the book ‘With God through Hell on Earth in the Rwandan Genocide’.
In the 1994 Rwandan Genocide, Denise Uwimana lost many members of her family, but she and her three children miraculously survived.
On Saturday, April 6, 1994, she was working with a Chinese-owned cement factory when the genocide started. After she had returned home, at 1:00 p.m. on that fateful day, screams and pandemonium in the neighborhood announced the arrival of killer gangs from the Hutu tribe who were hunting down members of the Tutsi tribe.
Being a Tutsi, Denise knew she was in danger. She was in her rented apartment, which she shared with ten other relatives, when suddenly the killers burst in. As her relatives scattered in different directions, Denise hid behind a door. In that time of trouble, Denise looked to God to help her.
One of the killers did find her, but inexplicably spared her life. As the killings continued in their neighborhood, Denise ran from place to place, seeking refuge. At this time, she passed through hell on earth. Several times she came face-to-face with death, but somehow each time God mercifully spared her life.
For the many days of the rampage, as she held on to God’s word, she and her children were miraculously preserved until eventually the Rwadan Patriotic Front soldiers came to their rescue.
Since then, she has testified about her miraculous survival in many countries across the globe.

How Denise and her children survived when other Tutsis were being slaughtered around them is a mystery, but faith in God is one of the greatest mysteries of life.
As Denise held on to God’s word despite the overwhelming odds, God honored His word and preserved her.
Faith will always make the ultimate difference in a person’s life. Despite the roaring fire, God delivered the Hebrew boys in Daniel 3 because they trusted in Him.
Today, we are living in perilous times where fearful news daily dominates the news headlines. Faith in God is our guarantee of survival and thriving in the midst of these uncertain times.
As believers in Christ, we are destined to always overcome and not become victims of the wicked. But to walk in the reality of our divine protection, we need to study the Word until we get a personal revelation. Nothing provokes faith like hearing from the Lord. God’s direct word to you will ignite supernatural faith in your heart. It will empower you to flourish where others perish, soar instead of sinking, and experience breakthroughs in the place of breakdowns. Certainly, if you can believe, all things will be possible to you. [Mark 9:23]

PRAYER: Lord, please enable me to accept the personal responsibility of diligently studying the Scriptures until I receive the needed revelation that will help me thrive and excel in these perilous times in Jesus Name. .

On August 20, 1917, in the small town of McKinney, Texas, Lillie Hagin gave birth to her son Kenneth Erwin Hagin. The baby was so small and lifeless that the doctor thought it was a still birth. He asked Lilliie’s mother to go and bury the dead infant.
Kenneth’s granny took him outside to the garden and picked up a shovel to dig a hole and bury him. But holding the shovel in one hand and the infant in the other, she suddenly noticed a “spark of life.” Kenneth was alive!
She quickly took him back into the house. But the doctor still saw no hope for the baby. He told the granny to prepare a packet of formula mix and feed it to him, and told her the baby would probably die before the formula finished. Surprisingly, Kenneth survived against all odds.
However he remained a sickly child and by age 15, he became partially paralyzed, confined to bed, and told he would soon die. He chose to spend his remaining time on earth in praying and studying the Word of God. One day a spark of faith came into him when he came across Mark 11:24, which says: “What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”
As he held on to this Word, God honored his faith. On August 8, 1934, Kenneth Hagin was miraculously raised from his death bed.
After his healing, he became an Assemblies of God minister in 1937, and eventually ended up being used by God to pioneer the Word of Faith movement and raise a global ministry that is still very much vibrant today.

Kenneth Hagin’s life teaches us to never give up on any situation too soon. His life and great destiny could have been buried too soon if God had not intervened.
There may be things you birthed, ideas and dreams, which today appear dead but actually could still be alive. There may be visions and callings that God gave you which you started, but because it didn’t seem to be working you decided to bury it.
Never give up too soon. Don’t believe your dream is dead and will never be fulfilled. Also don’t think that you are too old, poor, or disadvantaged to fulfill the vision that God gave you.
With all the challenges lined up against Kenneth Hagin, through God’s miraculous help, he exceeded all expectations. So can it be for you. God can resurrect your dreams and empower you to fulfill them.
There is nothing God cannot turn around for you. Jehovah alone has the final say in every situation. He is the God of all flesh and nothing is ever too hard for him.
For years Jacob believed his son, Joseph was dead. Unknown to him, God had been working behind the scenes and turning around things.. One day, Jacob found that his son was not only alive but was the prime minister in Egypt. [Genesis 45]
No matter how dead or hopeless any condition in your health, finances, business , relationships, etc , God is able to reverse it. As you hold on to His Word in faith, what is written will eventually control what is happening around you. Faith from the Word is the victory that overcomes the world.
Today, whatever you desire, as you believe and pray about it, you will certainly receive your miracle. As you call upon God out of a sincere heart, He will destroy every barrier, limitation, afflictions and stagnation and cause you to break forth to the glorious and colorful destiny He preordained for you.

PRAYER: Lord, You are my ever present help. As I come to You in faith today, please move mightily on my behalf to positively reverse every issue of concern. I thank You for causing me to triumph always in Jesus Name.

In 2010 Haiti had no national building code. Any building codes that existed were merely on paper, as most buildings were not according to engineering standards.
At that time Haiti was one of the poorest countries in the Western Hemisphere, with sixty per cent of its ten million citizens living in poverty. This situation, led to people building anyhow, with whatever material they could afford.
This situation of things caused a devastating damage to the nation when the magnitude 7.0 earthquake hit Haiti in 2010. The earthquake caused major damages in the nation’s capital, Port-au-Prince, and other cities in the region. The poorly constructed buildings were hopelessly fragile in the grip of such a strong quake. Notable landmark buildings that were damaged or destroyed, included the Presidential Palace, the National Assembly building, the Port-au-Prince Cathedral, and the main jail. Many lives were lost when these houses built on weak foundations toppled in the earthquake.
Interestingly, the tallest building in Haiti—the Digicel building, survived the earthquake with only minor damage. Why? It was constructed according to American building codes to withstand a magnitude-7 earthquake—and it did.

Life is full of storms, troubles and challenges which often come unexpectedly to test our foundations.
A man will stand or fall based on his depth in God.
When we have a strong foundation in God and live with spiritual fervency, no sudden challenge can easily topple us. Those who crumble in the face of the storms are those who live their lives anyhow without adherence to God’s strict standard.
To be victorious over every challenge, we must maintain strong spirituality through diligently seeking God.
We are in the days of trials and temptations where different situations will come to test our belief. We must have a firm resolve to stand for Christ no matter the quaking or shaking around us.
Despite the severity of any trial, we must settle it in our minds that nothing will ever cause us to shift our position in Christ
Yes, the rain, wind, storm may sometimes blow against us, but we are destined to be more than conquerors through Christ Jesus.
God has promised that as we walk through the fire and water, He will be right there with us.
If you are facing any trying situation today, stay rooted in God because He will cause you to triumph always through Christ.
And after you have been tried you shall certainly come forth as gold. [Job 23:10].

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to build my life upon the solid foundation of faith in Your Word, so that no matter what comes my way, I will never fall in Jesus Name. .
