MARCH 29; WE HAVE OVERCOME BY THE BLOOD!

Exodus 7:1 ‘And the Lord said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet. Thou shalt speak all that I acommand thee:’

DAILY READING; •1 Corinthians 15:35-58; 2 Kings 11; Micah 2

Despite facing constant persecutions, Chinese Churches have remained indefatigable because of their strong resistance to oppression.
Over the years , they have devised different ways to defend their churches from government demolition. One of these methods is having people join hands to form a “human wall.” They also call this the “snail strategy,” where they stick to a place just like a snail until it becomes difficult for the government forces to break through their human barrier.
There’s also the strategy of piling up stones to block the road leading to the church. This is used quite often in rural areas. There was one location where Church members even destroyed a bridge to block the demolition.
The Chinese Churches also use banners and loudspeakers in broadcasting legal-education toward the people who come to tear down their Churches or remove the crosses.
In what they call a “honeybee strategy,” they gather together and so pester the government forces with words for several hours until the government officials get tired and leave.
Several churches will hire lawyers to sue local officials, if they feel their rights had been breached. Pastors and believers also use social media to broadcast latest development and photos of the scenes. A single post can get reposted tens of thousands of times. If it gets censored, another post gets put up again.
Any church that had their crosses torn down, will usually put up new crosses immediately after. Believers also manufacture a large number of crosses out of both wood and acrylic glass and put the crosses on their cars, homes, on the side of the road, on mountaintops and anywhere they can.
Indeed the resilience of Chinese believers has made it impossible for the communist government to crush Christianity in China despite years of incessant persecution.

The truth is that a time comes when you need to rebel against the forces of oppression.
All over the world, Christians are often confronted by the spirit of pharaoh that tries to hold them in bondage and keep them in limitation and captivity. But through the Blood of Jesus we are overcomers. By the power of God we can resist the oppressor and break free from every yoke of bondage.
The Israelites suffered under bondage for 430 years until they decided to do something about their condition. As they started crying out to God, He moved through mighty signs, judged the gods of Egypt and dramatically delivered the Israelites.
The truth is that you don’t have to keep tolerating the bondage of the enemy in your health, finances, business, career, relationships etc.
Jesus has paid the eternal price for our liberty by His Blood, and empowered us to break free from every bondage.
If you remain spiritually docile, the enemy will continue to take you for a ride. It is the spiritually violent that take it by force because the only language the devil understands is the language of power.
We need to study God’s Word to the point where we are able to see our superior covenant position in Christ. This is what will embolden us to act with faith and authority.
In Exodus 7:1, God said to Moses, “See I have made you now a God to Pharaoh”. This statement changed Moses’ disposition and made him react with authority towards Pharaoh.
In the same way, hearing God’s Word will build up your faith and give you a superiority mentality against everything trying to hold you in bondage. Faith comes by hearing the Word and faith is the victory that overcomes the world. When you are a person of faith, you will speak with audacity and act with authority.
Faith is what awakens your lion-heart and delivers to you your lion share.
Today, it is time to exercise our faith by speaking against the forces of oppressions in our personal lives, families , communities and nations. It is indeed time to react with spiritual violence against the barriers to our open doors and progress. Because we are born of God, we are truly born to overcome the world.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for victory by the Blood of Jesus. Please enable me to meditate constantly on your Word so that my heart can be filled with the faith to break free from limitations and oppressions and possess my possessions in Jesus Name.

MARCH 28; THE CONNECTION TO YOUR MIRACLE!

Romans 13:8(NIV)
“Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.”

DAILY READING• 1 Corinthians 15:1-34; 2 Kings 10; Micah 1

There is a saying ‘one good turn deserves another’ – This proved to be true in a story featured by the BBC and other major Media outlets in February 2018.
A homeless man who was given shelter by Pastor John Greenaway in Northern Ireland, turned around to be the person God used to save his life.
The homeless man named Melvin Boyd had fallen on hard times, but in 2016, he had a chance meeting in a Christian book shop, with Pastor Greenaway’s son, who brought him to their family home. Pastor Greenaway took in Melvin to live with his family and they helped him to beat his alcohol addiction and start life all over. Melvin Boyd lived with them and became like another son to the pastor and his wife.
Over time, Pastor Greenaway had kidney failure and though he had three offers from people who wanted to donate an organ, none of them worked out. That was when Boyd stepped in and offered to donate one of his kidneys to him.
The operation was successful and gave pastor Greenway a new lease of health. Indeed pastor Greenaway found that his decision to help a poor homeless man eventually ended up becoming a bigger blessing to his own life.

2 Kings chapter 5 tells us the story of Naaman who was the captain of the Syrian army, very well respected and influential, yet he could not find the cure for his leprosy, though he searched far and wide. It was an insignificant Jewish maid in his household, whom God used to make the connection to Prophet Elisha and Naaman got his divine healing.
Just like that Jewish maid, there are people who are ordained to be the connection to our miracles. These people can be likened to gatekeepers who will be used to open doors of blessings and be the divine connections to our next level of health, wealth, relationship, etc.
Oftentimes these gatekeepers may not look like what you would expect. They may not be the rich, powerful and influential, rather they can be disguised as ordinary people whom you may consider to be of little or no importance.
We often make the mistake of looking up to the rich and influential people to open doors for us, but true promotion comes only from God. And God can use anyone, even the most unlikely people, who may seem insignificant, and underneath you to connect you to doors of promotion and increase.
People have missed opportunities for blessings and advancement because they had failed to recognize the helpers who were divinely linked to their destiny.
The truth is that you may never know whom God will use as the key to open the door to your next level. Keys are small but they can open great doors.
When we sow seeds of love and kindness, wherever we go, then we can be sure we will not miss the divine connections and gatekeepers ordained for us.
As we sincerely obey the commandment to owe no man nothing but love and continually sow good seeds, we will surely reap harvests of blessings and miracles.

PRAYER: Lord, please grant me the grace to always obey Your commandment to love others. As I sow seeds of kindness , I thank You for causing me to reap supernatural harvests of blessings in Jesus Name.

MARCH 27; YOU CAN RISE AGAIN!

Micah 7:7–8, [TLB] ‘As for me, I look to the Lord for his help; I wait for God to save me; he will hear me. Do not rejoice against me, O my enemy, for though I fall, I will rise again! When I sit in darkness, the Lord himself will be my Light.’

DAILY READING; 1 Corinthians 14:26-40; 2 Kings 9; Jonah 4

Curtis Carroll is a prisoner, but he is famous today, because he overcame poverty, illiteracy and incarceration to become a highly sought-after stock investor.
Carroll grew up in Oakland, California in a vicious neighborhood, where his uncle trained him to be a burglar. In 1996, at 17 years old, Curtis committed a robbery where a man was killed. He turned himself in and ended up in prison with a 54 years sentence.
While in prison Curtis encountered Christ and became born again. His life was not only transformed spiritually he also began to experience a positive transformation in other areas. He had entered prison as a stark illiterate, but gradually by the time he was 21 years, he had taught himself to read and write.
He also learned about financial investment and began studying the stock market from books in the prison library. Soon he became so successful at picking stocks, that it earned him the nickname “The Oracle of San Quentin,”
He didn’t keep his knowledge to himself and soon started a Financial Literacy Program and created a philosophy he called F.E.E.L (Financial Empowerment Emotional Literacy) . This program teaches people to recognize how their emotions affect their financial decision.
Curtis is celebrated by the media for his amazing life transformation and he has received a lot of public recognition and attention. Already he has almost served half the years of his sentence and with the financial wealth he has been earning he is well-positioned to live a successful life when finally released.
Curtis said in a media interview “I want to give all glory to God, because without Him I wouldn’t look or feel like this. Freedom is a mental state, not a physical one. I remain cheerful due to God’s grace..’

Indeed how we respond to challenges determines whether we are beaten or blessed, whether we are victims or victors.

Micah 7:7–8, (TLB) says ‘As for me, I look to the Lord for his help; I wait for God to save me; he will hear me. Do not rejoice against me, O my enemy, for though I fall, I will rise again!’

From the above Scripture it appeared that prophet Micah was in a low place, but in the middle of the difficulty, he was still speaking victory and declaring that he will rise again.
It doesn’t matter how low a man may fall, through God’s help he can rise up to even greater heights.
If you failed in any endeavor, or a door was closed against you, don’t let that keep you from rising again, always remember that down is not your destiny, and defeat is not how your story ends.
Staying down is failure accepted but getting back up is faith activated!
As you stay in faith, God can turn that battlefield into your blessing field. What should have defeated you can turn around to increase you. It’s a matter of perspective. When you face tough times, have the perspective that God can bless you in the valley.
As long as you are walking in line with God, what may seem like a prison can eventually lead you to a palace. The closed door can lead to new doors of greater possibilities.

Whatever negative situation you may have experienced is not the end of you. That setback could be a set-up for your greater comeback. Indeed the plan of the enemy will backfire and ultimately end up, serving God’s perfect purpose for your life.
Therefore refuse to give in to negative emotions and allow them to keep you from God’s blessings and promotion. Fix your eyes on Jesus and on His Word. God is at work in your life.
It doesn’t matter what goes on around you, what matters most is what goes on inside you. As you hold on to God’s Word and remain strong in faith, what may appear like trouble and turbulence, will end up leading to a change of level, greater growth and increase.
Today, let us continually praise God in every situation because certainly He is turning around what the enemy meant for evil to all work out for our good.

PRAYER: Lord please help me to always see You at work in my life no matter what things may look like. Thank You Lord that even right now, You are working out everything together for my good in Jesus Name. .

MARCH 26; FAITH TO POSSESS THE LAND!

Deuteronomy 1:8 ‘Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them.’

DAILY READING – 1 Corinthians 14:1-25; 2 Kings 8; Jonah 3

The Great Fear (in French, Grande Peur) was a wave of peasant riots and violence that swept through France in July and August 1789. These riots were sparked by economic concerns, rural panic and the power of rumour.
At a time of political instability in France, the peasants began to hear rumours that the aristocrats, the ruling class, planned to use soldiers to plunder their villages and fields.
Some possible causes of this Great Fear was the breakdown in communication due to unrest in Paris, high tensions set off by food shortages and widespread unemployment, and fears of violent attacks.
People lived their lives in fear, tormented by the thought of soldiers about to invade them. Without bothering to find out the truth, the villages became filled with mass hysteria.
To protect themselves, villagers formed armed militias, Confusion and fear reigned for weeks until word eventually filtered in that it was all a false rumor.
The Great Fear and its associated riots only lasted for roughly three weeks but set the stage for some of the most important developments of the French Revolution.

It is amazing how such unfounded fear could instantly disorganize a people, negatively affecting their lifestyles and paralyzing them from proper reasoning.
Today, we live in a world ruled by different kinds of fears fueled by stories and rumors of the things happenings in the society. While it is true that the world is passing through a season of anxiety due to the global happenings, as believers, we must activate faith over fear.
God is certainly in control of our lives.
His Name is Jehovah Jireh, which means “God sees.”
Certainly, His all-seeing eyes are watching over us, therefore we never need to fear.
At such a time, we must be a people of faith who keep moving boldly to possess the territory God has given us, no matter what may be going on in the world.

In Deuteronomy 1:8 God says to the Israelites ‘Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them’.

Though God had asked the Israelites to go forth and take the land, fear kept them from going forward to possess the inheritance. The report of the 10 spies filled the people with fear, so that instead of going forward they were turned back into the wilderness.
Exposing yourself to the wrong report can breed fear in the heart. This is why you have to be careful the things you listen to. Just as faith comes by hearing The Word of God, fear comes from hearing the words of men.
The Word of God frees you from fear and self- limiting beliefs.
2 Timothy 1:7 says ‘for God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of love and a sound mind’.

Faith in God defeats fear and opens a whole new world of possibilities where through Christ you can do all things. It is a world where you don’t look at how weak you are but how great God is. It is a world where it is not by power, nor by might, but by the Spirit of The Lord. This is where faith rules and there is no place for fear.
By the liberating power in God’s Word, we shall not be held back by fears or anxieties rather we shall keep marching forward to possess all that God has ordained for us in this season.

PRAYER: Lord, I know you have so much in store for me, please enable me to meditate constantly on your Word so that my heart can be filled with the faith I need to possess my possession in Jesus Name. ..

MARCH 25; YOU NEED DISCERNMENT.

Mathew 24: 4-5 ‘And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.”

DAILY READING: 1 Corinthians 13; 2 Kings 7:3-20; Jonah 2

Sundews are plants that feed on insects. They make up one of the largest groups of carnivorous plants. Sundews trap preys in sticky hairs on their leaves. Long tentacles protrude from their leaves, each with a sticky gland at the tip. These droplets look like dew glistening in the sun, thus their name.
The glands produce nectar to attract prey, powerful adhesive to trap it, and enzymes to digest it. Once an insect becomes stuck, nearby tentacles coil around the insect and smother it.
Although its attractive clusters of red, white, and pink blossoms are harmless, the leaves are deadly. Woe to the insect that dares to dance on it. Mosquitoes are abundant in the sundews’ preferred habitat and can make up a significant portion of their diet. Sundews can kill a trapped insect in about 15 minutes, but may digest it over a few weeks.
The shiny moisture on each leaf is sticky and will imprison any bug that touches it. As an insect struggles to free itself, the vibration causes the leaves to close tightly around it. This innocent-looking plant then feeds on its victim.

There are many things that may appear innocent but in reality are quite deadly. This is why we can’t afford to walk by sight, but rather by the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
One of the signs of the end-times is that there’ll be many deceived, as well as many deceivers. Jesus said many deceivers will come in His Name masquerading as genuine believers but deceiving many people.
To escape the many such ‘innocent’ looking traps of the enemy, we need to be guided by the Holy Spirit.
We are living at a time when we really need to be discerning because of the many deceptions. Today, many people are becoming so distracted by worldly affairs that they lose sight that the coming of Christ is very near.
Interestingly, one of the names of the Antichrist is ‘the lawless one’. The fact that we are seeing increasing social unrest and lawlessness in our society is indication that he is already manifesting.
At such a time we must strive not to get carried away by the confusion and mayhem unfolding daily . Our focus should always be on Christ Jesus and His Word.
Our guarantee for safety in these last days is dwelling in the path of light, which is walking in line with God’s Word. The ways of the world are slippery, their boundaries are continually shifting, and you cannot afford to walk on such shifting sands lest you sink. It is only by the help of the Spirit that we can discern rightly. The Word of God is a lamp unto our feet and light unto our path. It is in His light that we can see light. To avoid destruction of these last days we must heed instructions of Scriptures.
A daily quiet time spent in studying the Word and praying, is one way of receiving daily instructions from the Spirit of God. And as we acknowledge Him in all our ways, surely, He will direct our paths away from every deception..

PRAYER:
Lord, please help me to take heed to the instructions of scriptures. Enable me to be totally dependent upon Your guidance so that I can escape the paths of death and destruction and Walk only in the path of Your light in Jesus’ Name.

MARCH 24: DILIGENCE UNLOCKS GREAT DOORS!

Proverbs 22:29 ‘Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.’

DAILY READING; 1 Corinthians 12; 2 Kings 6:1-7:2; Jonah 1

As a youth, Thomas Dexter Jakes was nicknamed “Bible Boy”. This was due to his early habit of preaching to an imaginary congregation and always carrying his Bible around, even to school.
Popularly known as TD Jakes, he grew up in the First Baptist Church and was very active in the Church. He felt called to preach at age 17. After his father died in 1973, TD dropped out of high school and at the age of 19, he became a preacher.
His first Church, began with ten members in 1980. It didn’t take long for Jakes to be noticed; because of his distinctive and fluent sermons. However, financially things were really tough. Having gotten married, TD Jakes had to sometimes work at cutting grass and digging ditches in order to provide for his wife and children.
All this while, he faithfully continued to pastor his small congregation, trusting God for a positive change of story.
In a few short years the Church began to grow enormously. Jakes’ major breakthrough came in 1991 when a door suddenly opened for him at the Azusa Conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1991. He came to preach there as an obscure, unknown country preacher, but that did not stop him from preparing diligently beforehand to deliver a rousing sermon at the event.
A short clip of TD Jakes preaching at this event, was so impressive that within a year the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) signed him on for regular appearances on their Network.
This brought TD Jakes into great visibility, as his television program began to be viewed all over the world. By the next year, 1992 when he again went to preach at the Azusa Conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma, this time over 12,000 people packed the auditorium to see him in person.
From then on, TD Jakes would experience unprecedented success. Today his global ministry affects millions of people through books, radio, television, and conferences.

Proverbs 22:29 says ‘Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.’

To be outstanding in life, we must give total diligence to our calling. It is true that success is our birthright as believers, but we must adhere to necessary preparations in order to see great manifestations.
God rewards diligence. When you abide faithful in the little, it is only a matter of time before God causes you to experience an overflow.
When you are diligent in your business, God can suddenly break protocols and overturn schedules, to bring you before great men.
Truly, it doesn’t take time for God to change a man’s story. He can suddenly cause an unexpected shift that will catapult you from obscurity to notoriety.
However to experience these open doors, we must be committed to effective and tireless pursuit of excellence even in our hidden seasons of life.
Throughout the Scriptures, those who greatly succeeded in their endeavors were those who worked hard in pursuit of God’s assignment for them.
Jesus, our Saviour said in John 9:4 ‘I must work the works of him that sent me,’
Then in John 5:17 He also said ‘The Father worketh hitherto, and I work’
If God the Father and Jesus are diligently working, then we have no excuse for not diligently pursuing our calling.
While success may demand a high price, we must always remember that the benefits outweigh the cost.
Most importantly, we should focus on our spiritual preparation because it is our depth in God that determines our height in life. Our understanding of God’s Word is what will cause us to be outstanding in our endeavors.
In this season, as we zealously pursue our call, we will surely experience unprecedented grace and favor that will take us to unimaginable heights.

PRAYER: Father please help me to be willing to submit to the necessary process that will prepare me for my next level. Please destroy every force of limitation, and enable me to rise to my high places in life in Jesus Name.

MARCH 23; LAUNCH OUT INTO THE DEEP!

Jeremiah 29:13-14 ‘And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity…,’

DAILY READING – 1 Corinthians 11:17-34; 2 Kings 5; Obadiah 1

The deepest gold mine in the world is Anglogold Ashanti’s Mponeng gold mine in South Africa.
From the ground level, it extends over 4 kilometres below the surface of the earth. The trip from the surface to the bottom of the mine takes over an hour. Yet, every day, 4,000 workers descend into the mine through elevators—or cages. These triple-decked cages fit 120 people at a time. Though the first 1.6-mile shaft takes only 6 minutes to descend, a second shaft takes workers deeper down, and the last part is only accessible by foot or vehicle. Because temperatures increase the closer one gets to the earth’s core, underground in the mine it is so hot that ice has to be pumped down to cool the tunnels. To keep the hot temperatures from becoming deadly, ice mixed with salt is pumped down from the surface; huge fans then blow air over the ice, forming a controlled cold-air system within the mine. This means that many tunnels can be kept at an almost bearable temperature. However, without this, the gold mine would quickly become a deathtrap as many of the miners would die from the heat.

Obviously, this process of digging for gold requires a lot of sacrifice, yet amazingly people daily pay the price, because of how precious gold is deemed.

As we seek for greater open doors we must be willing to pay the required spiritual price to gain access.
As believers, there are great treasures destined for us through redemption, but they are only accessible to those who are willing to pay the spiritual price to go deep enough into God’s Word to locate them.
We have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places, God has freely given all things to us in Christ Jesus, but it takes the depth of revelation by the Spirit for us to have access.

Jesus said to Peter in Luke 5::4, “launch out into the deep and let down your net for a draught”.
It is only when you launch out into the deep that you can get a net breaking catch.
The treasures are available, the issue is ability to pay the required price to access them.
Jesus said in Mathew 13:44, that the Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hid in a field; which when a man had found, he hid it, then went and sold all that he hath, and bought that field.

Divine treasures are available to those who will diligently seek God’s Word. From His Word comes favor, blessings, promotions, miracles, signs and wonders and all that we desire. When get into the depth of the Word, we will encounter God’s presence which turns around every form of captivity in a man’s life. God said in Jeremiah 29:13-14 ‘And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity,’

When we diligently seek God and find Him, there are great blessings that follow us..In His Presence is fullness of joy and at His right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Whatever we desire today can be found in God’s Presence.. Let us therefore make a fresh commitment today to pay whatever price it takes to encounter God’s tangible Presence. Certainly, when we find Him, there shall be a reward and our expectations shall not be cut off.

PRAYER: Father please grant me the grace to dig into the depth of Your Word where Your Spiritual treasures are found. As I seek You with all my heart may Your tangible Presence be made known to me in Jesus’ Name.

MARCH 22; TRIUMPHING THROUGH THE BLOOD.

1 Corinthians 15:57 ‘But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.’

DAILY READING; 1 Corinthians 11:1-16; 2 Kings 4; Amos 9

John Osteen was the founding pastor of Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas.. In his book ‘You can change your destiny’, he shared the amazing testimony of his sister, Mary Givens.
Mary got afflicted with epilepsy which eventually evolved into a case of demonic affliction..She deteriorated to a coma-like state with the inability to reason properly.
At a point for two weeks she did not open her eyes and was unable to walk. Medically her case defied solution.
One day, suddenly, she heard the voice of the Spirit within her say “Call John, go call John!”
She had not seen her brother, pastor John Osteen in nearly two years. But she obeyed the voce and requested her mother to call him.
Before John received the call, he had already seen a vision of Mary in a very sick condition, but was given assurance of her deliverance.
After receiving the call from his mother, as he got in the car to embark on the journey, he opened his Bible for a promise and it fell open to the scripture verse “Fear not, Mary, for thou hast found favor with God.”
Pastor John felt it was confirmation for Mary’s healing. On arriving him home he began wedging spiritual warfare against the forces of darkness holding Mary bound, pointing to the Cross and claiming its power for healing.
By the power of the Blood of Jesus, Mary received divine healing.. Soon her health was fully restored and every trace of epilepsy and the other afflictions were totally gone.

It doesn’t matter how complex any medical condition may appear, Jesus made its healing possible at the Cross through His precious Blood and the stripes that He suffered.
As His children, divine healing is our inheritance.
Anytime you face a challenge in your health, look to Jesus on the cross. See Him beaten and scourged for you, and receive healing and wholeness. He has paid the price for your total healing. By His stripes you are healed!
No matter the challenge, Jehovah alone has the final say over your life and there is no impossible case with Him.
He is Jehovah, Rapha, the Lord that healeth thee.
Therefore don’t be moved by the symptoms or the medical diagnosis. Rather stay with the Word which is God’s medicine—and continue to take it —every day and you will surely be made whole.
God has sent His Word to heal us and deliver us from every destruction.
No matter what the medical or financial reports says. You can have a change of story by engaging the power of God’s Word.
Christ has already defeated every negative condition to the fullest and to the outermost and handed over the victory to us.

1 Corinthians 15:57 says ‘But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.’

Truly we are destined to triumph always through Christ Jesus. It is our portion to live in victory in our health, finances and relationships and in every area of our lives. Certainly by the power of the Cross, we are more than conquerors over the challenges of life

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You that it is my portion to experience victory and dominion in every area of my life . I receive today the faith that will enable me gain access into the full benefits of redemption in Jesus Name.

MARCH 21; ROAD MAP TO SUCCESS!

1 Timothy 4:15-16 ‘Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them:’

DAILY READING; 1 Corinthians 10; 2 Kings 3; Amos 8

Raymond Theodore Richey was an important figure in the history of the Pentecostal-charismatic renewal movement.
As a teenager in 1911, Richey was miraculously healed of blindness and also healed of Tuberculosis.
After his healing, he came under intense conviction to become a minister of the Gospel, but he didn’t know how to start.
However, as he continued to study the Word and pray, doors began to open up for him into ministry. One day while visiting his brother’s house he prayed for a woman with rheumatism. She was instantly healed.
News of this healing miracle traveled far and wide. Soon Richey began to get calls to pray for the sick.
Still Richey’s heart’s desire was to have greater impact in the kingdom. As he continued to study the Word and pray, he felt led to start evangelizing and organizing fervent prayers for army troops when World War I broke out.
As his ministry expanded he became associated with great preachers such as Kathryn Kuhlman, Aimee Semple McPherson, William Branham etc.
Richey began to travel internationally. He held meetings in Central and South America in 1951. His ministry work also took him to Germany, Switzerland, Japan, and Korea in 1957 and 1958.
As a young man, Raymond Theodore Richey had not known how to start out in ministry, but through being obedient to God’s Word, he followed a spiritual road map, that led him to a successful international ministry. By the time of his death on April 22, 1968, it is believed that more than one million people had responded to his calls for salvation or healing over the lifetime of his ministry.

After Moses’ death, Joshua began preparing to lead the Israelites to where they had never walked before, into a land unknown to them. Joshua didn’t know what lay ahead, but God told him to carefully follow His Word, because it would be the key to making his way prosperous and having good success.
At every juncture of our life’s journey we often face the fears of the unknown. Though we may not know what lies ahead or what next step to take, diligently studying and obeying God’s Word, will be the roadmap to our glorious destination.
To succeed in life, we cannot treat the Scriptures as a buffet line in which we pick and choose what we will obey. It is when we give ourselves wholly to it, that our profiting appears to all.[ 1 Timothy 4:15-16]
You may start small but as you persist in faith, your later end shall surely be great.
Zechariah 4:10 tells us not to despise the days of small beginnings. Don’t look at yourself and think you lack the capability to accomplish the great things you sense God is calling you to.
When David was about to fight Goliath, all he had was a slingshot and five smooth stones. It looked insignificant and ordinary, but through God’s divine help, David’s little stone became a mighty force that killed Goliath.
Wherever you may be today, as you abide obedient to God’s Word and continue to move forward by faith, God will multiply your efforts. God will not only bring your visions and dreams to pass, He will do more than you could ever ask, think or imagine.

PRAYER: Lord please help me to base my life upon the solid foundation of Your Word and prayer. I thank You for granting me the faith and boldness to accomplish the greatness You have ordained for me in Jesus’ Name.

MARCH 20; STEPPING INTO GREATNESS!

Isaiah 45:1 [NLT] ‘ This is what the LORD says to Cyrus, his anointed one, whose right hand he will empower. Before him, mighty kings will be paralyzed with fear. Their fortress gates will be opened, never to shut again.’

DAILY READING • 1 Corinthians 9; 2 Kings 1-2; Amos 7

Dorothea Trudel is recognized as the founder of the first healing homes in Switzerland. Referred to as the Apostle of Healing, she developed a model for healing homes that spread across continents.
Yet, Dorothea Trudel was a simple factory girl who stepped out in faith, trusting God and great things were accomplished through her.
Dorothea was brought up in a very poor family in Männedorf, Switzerland. She was one of 11 children. Her father was an alcoholic who could not support his family financially. On the other hand, Dorothea’s mother was a woman of prayer. Because she could not afford doctors, she relied on God and prayer to heal her children anytime they were sick.
As an adult, Dorothea felt that God had called her into the healing ministry. Though faced by many odds, she searched the Scriptures until she got the faith and revelation that strengthened her to step into ministry.
When a wave of sickness broke out in her village, many people in the village recovered due to her prayers. Dorothea then began running a healing home, where people came to from all over Europe, including France, Germany, and Great Britain.
Doctors, who accused her of illegally healing people got the court to stop Dorothea from her work.
But God defeated her enemies. In November 1861, a higher court ruling reversed all lower courts decisions and the German government licensed her healing home at Mannendorf and it became the first Divine Healing Institute established in the modern world.

When a young factory girl, Dorothea, decided to step out in faith and obey God, great doors began to open before her that established her in history.
The journey of destiny is a walk of faith. If you don’t step out in faith when you sense God is opening a door, you may never know the greatness destined for you.

If Abraham never took his first step of faith and left his hometown, Ur of the Chaldees, he may never have become the father of many nations.
David never knew that by going to fight Goliath, he would end up as the most celebrated king in Jewish history.

There is a door God has placed before each of us, that will lead to great and amazing exploits, but we need to locate it. The Word of God is the spiritual keys for the opening of doors of destiny.
Through studying God’s Word and living with spiritual fervency, we will receive the faith, guidance and power to step into new doors of exploits.
There is so much God wants to do with our lives in these last days and unprecedented doors of opportunities are being opened for believers. May we receive the grace to see what God is doing and the faith to step into our new territories
It is time to refuse mediocrity, spiritual laziness and lukewarmness and burn with new zeal, fire and passion through deeper connection to God.
When God anoints you for an assignment, He will guide you and subdue those who oppose you. He will open doors before you that no man can shut [Isaiah 45:1]
Certainly, when God is your door keeper, nobody can keep you from your purpose.
By the help of the Spirit of God, we shall surely accomplish extra ordinary things and truly shine as kingdom stars in this generation.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to keep my mind always focused on Your Word so that I can have the faith to step out boldly into greater open doors and do exploits in Jesus Name. .
