When John S. Huyler first started out in business, he didn’t have enough money. He had big dreams but was limited financially. From his understanding of the Scriptures he decided to emulate Jacob who started out with nothing but prospered through entering into a covenant with God.
Going to the bank, he opened a special account in which he regularly entered a proportionate amount of his income. As he kept God uppermost in his mind in all his transactions, his business grew at a phenomenal rate. His growth and prosperity amazed his business associates. Yet, giving to God’s kingdom was the secret of his success.
His candy and restaurant business in the New York City grew to be the largest. He eventually became the most prominent chocolate maker in the United States.

God is faithful to keep His covenant with us today, just as He was faithful to keep His covenant with His people in the past. And when we covenant to walk in line with His Word, it guarantees our supernatural breakthroughs and overflow.
When we make the promotion of God’s kingdom our first priority, then everything else will eventually become added to us.
God delights in prospering those that favour His cause and focus on the building of His House.
In Haggai 1:4-11 God shut the heavens over the people because they had been unmindful of His house, while focusing rather on building their personal houses. However, when the people repented of their neglect of God’s House and began to build it, God once again opened the Heavens over them.
Indeed as we make it top priority to serve God with our time, talent and resources, He will surely
overflow our lives with His supernatural abundance and give us the hidden riches of secret places.

PRAYER: Lord, as I make the promotion of Your kingdom the top priority in my life, I thank You Lord, for opening the Heavens over me and showering me with overflowing blessings in Jesus Name.

As a young boy, Jay Cooke read a little book on Christian giving. From what he learnt, he resolved to always faithfully give towards God’s work.
At 17 years old, Jay began working as a bank clerk and through his commitment to serve God, he rapidly rose in ranks. By the time he was 21 years old, he had become a partner in the firm.
Few years after, Cooke left the firm and opened his own private banking house and began paying tithe of his entire business. As he gave generously to the spread of the Gospel his business prospered greatly to the extent that some of the largest financial transactions of the country were entrusted to his firm. In no time Jay became one of the richest men in America. Not only was he a financial mogul, he was also a dedicated Christian who taught a Bible class in his home. During his lifetime, he provided resources for the construction of Churches and gave generously to many Christian organizations and schools.

The giving covenant will always open the heavens and release overflow of blessings upon our lives. When we make the promotion of God’s kingdom our first priority, then everything else will eventually become added to us.
To experience overflow, we must follow divine principles.. Making God the center of your life will ultimately make you a central figure on the earth.
The truth is that life does not get better by chance; it gets better by the choices we make.
When we connect to God’s financial covenant, we will prosper even in the desert. Despite any harsh economic climate, we will see doors open miraculously to establish us as major players in our field and lenders to nations.
Through the covenant of investing into God’s kingdom, we stay connected to a supply line that never runs dry because the covenant is eternally stronger than any condition on earth.
Certainly, as we seek God with all our heart and dedicate ourselves to the expansion of His Kingdom, the Lord will cause doors of breakthrough to open up for us, crooked places shall be made straight and divine blessings will overflow our lives.

Wallace E. Johnson was born in 1902 into a poor farming family in Edinburg, Mississippi. He earned his first dollar at age seven by picking cotton. Desirous to work hard and succeed, he learned carpentry as a teenager. During the time of the great economic depression in America, he got a job working in a sawmill lumber yard. He carefully held on to his job, as the wages, though small, helped to provide for his family. However, one morning, without warning, his boss unceremoniously fired him. This seemed like the worst thing that could happen to Wallace. But despite the bleak situation, as a Christian, he believed that God would see him through. With a $250 loan, he went into the building business. In a few years, his business began to grow, and within five years of starting the business, he had become a millionaire. In 1952, he co-founded the Holiday Inn and it became one of the most extraordinary business success stories of modern times. Wallace was deeply involved in his local church and gave liberally to Christian causes.
In his lifetime, he headed or held offices in more than 75 corporations.

Truly, despite initial defeats in life, you can still soar to victory with God’s help.
Therefore, don’t ever allow people’s actions to control the narrative of your life. If one door closes against you, don’t give up. As you keep pressing forward, God will open many more doors ahead of you.
It is God’s will for us to be refined by problems rather than defined by them.
Through faith, we can change problems into possibilities and turn stumbling blocks into stepping stones.
Today, if it seems you are surrounded by overwhelming odds, invite God your affairs, by increasing your level of prayers and praise. It is also important that you go deeper in the study of God’s Word because it will impart into you faith which is the victory that overcomes the world. Through faith in God, what was meant to mark the end of your story can become the bend in your story. It can become the turning point that leads to your mountain top.
Today, by God’s grace, you will surely overcome any difficulty facing you. God will show you a token for good and take you further than you ever imagined this year. He will bring you into the realms of overflow and turn every mourning into dancing for you. [Psalm 30:11]

Dr. Raymond Damadian was a remarkable Christian scientist who achieved one of the greatest medical breakthroughs of the 20th century.
As a child, Damadian was nurtured by his grandmother, who lived in their home. When he was 10 years old, his beloved grandmother died from a long and extremely painful form of breast cancer. The grief and pain Damadian felt prompted him to decide to fight cancer. Years later, he enrolled in the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
While in medical school, he struggled with frustration and difficulty to achieve his goals. In 1957 he attended a Billy Graham crusade and became born again. With his mind renewed through Christ, he received divine help in his pursuit to help cancer patients.
In 1977, he became the first to perform a full-body scan of a human being to diagnose cancer using a method he invented known as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
Though he faced great battles and unethical attempts by big companies to steal his invention, he persevered and overcame at last. Today he is historically recognized for his invention of the MRI which has launched a 10 billion dollar industry offering help and hope to desperately ill patients. Doctor Damadian always credited prayers and God’s blessings as the source of this historic invention.

Our God is El Shaddi, the God who is more than enough. He is more than enough to accomplish our vision and establish us as generational icons.
When we walk in obedience to Him, we are destined to become trailblazers and pacesetters!
Deuteronomy 28:2 tells us that as we obey God’s voice, His blessings shall come upon us and overtake us.
The blessing means the power to excel and to prosper. Therefore our strong connection to God will always lead to breakthroughs and overflows.
It doesn’t matter the odds against you; with God on your side, you are destined to be the light to your world. Through God’s help, you can arise above any barrier, break any limit, and achieve incredible results.
We have been redeemed to be the head and never the tail; above only and never beneath. By our enviable accomplishments. we are meant to stand out in our generation.

Yolanda Gail Devers is a celebrated American track athlete and the daughter of Reverend Larry Devers who brought her up to trust in the Lord.
Gail’s faith in God helped her to overcome great physical adversity to win Olympic gold medals in 1992 and 1996. Gail’s trials began at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, where she suffered a sudden mysterious illness that led to her poor performance at the games. Thereafter, her health worsened, and doctors were baffled by her symptoms. It took them two and a half years to finally discover she had Graves’ disease, an illness of the thyroid gland. When Gail began radiation therapy for the disease, she found she couldn’t walk and could only crawl. When doctors decided her feet had to be amputated it spelled the end of her athletic career.
But while in the hospital for the amputation, Gail prayed to God for a miracle. God answered, and the amputation was cancelled. After that, she slowly began to recover and regain her health.
A month later, in March 1991, she felt strong enough to begin training again. By August, she competed in the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, where she won a silver medal. A year later, she won the race for the Olympic 100m final in Barcelona. This was truly amazing because just a mere nineteen months earlier, Gail couldn’t walk and was facing the amputation of her feet. But God miraculously restored Gail and she went on to become a three-time Olympic gold medalist and one of the greatest female athletes in sporting history.

It doesn’t matter how low life’s circumstances may sometimes bring us; God is able to establish our divine restoration. He can deliver our soul from death, our eyes from tears, and our feet from falling. [Psalm 116; 6 -8].
God can suddenly turn the tables and shift you from sickness to health, from dryness to overflow, from zero to a hero.
Jesus shed His blood to change our portion from curses to blessings. By His sacrifice, we are destined to continually break forth to glorious new levels of destiny. Certainly, it is our time to move from pain to power, from sorrow to joy, from sickness to health, and from weakness to a life of faith, peace, and joy.
As long as we are walking in God’s will, we are destined to see divine turnarounds of every negative situation. Therefore, in this new month, do not limit what God can do. A supernatural shift is coming your way. A sudden change of seasons is about to erupt around you. It is your time to experience glorious new chapters of your story. Where you used to crawl, you are about to run; in the place of stagnation, you are about to soar. In the place of dryness, rivers of abundance are about to flow. The desert will be turned into fruitful land for you.
Therefore, let us remain heavily expectant because something good is about to happen. Certainly, with God on our side, we will keep breaking forth from glory to greater levels of glory.

In February 1961, the international evangelist Gordon Lindsay was visiting Mt. Olives in Israel when he heard God tell him to go to Africa and find a particular man and take him to America.
At that time, Gordon had never heard of Benson Idahosa nor seen him before. Gordon flew to Nigeria and met a missionary named Sidney Elton.
Before that time, Sidney Elton had been supernaturally connected to a young struggling pastor named Benson Idahosa. Idahosa had come looking for him after hearing the Lord tell him to go to Ilesha and find a white man called Elton.
So when Gordon Lindsay came to Nigeria and told Elton about God’s instruction, Elton took him to meet Idahosa.
The next day Gordon Lindsay invited Benson over to America and offered him a scholarship in the Bible training school of Christ for the Nations. Benson was the first African student to ever attend the Bible school. His time in America drastically transformed his life and ministry. On his return to Nigeria, right from the airport, the power of God began to move. People who came to welcome him on shaking hands with him were slain in the spirit right there at the tarmac. This was the beginning of the world-wide ministry of power and impact that established Benson Idahosa as a legend in his world.

Just like God supernaturally took Benson Idahosa from struggle to overflow, He can do the same for anyone who trusts in Him.
As long as you remain steadfast in obeying God and walk in obedience to His Word, your supernatural turnaround is sure.
As we come into a new month today, this can be our season to breakforth into new realms of exploits.
It doesn’t matter how you may have struggled in the past months; through God’s divine favor, this will be your season to break forth to new levels of unprecedented breakthroughs and overflowing blessings.
This first day of October marks the beginning of the last three months of the year. It was within three months that God changed the story of Obededom. [2 Samuel 6].
Likewise, in these remaining three months, God’s favor and goodness will indeed distinguish us. Just as Obededom brought the ark of the Lord into his house and was blessed beyond measure, through God’s presence in our lives, we will become a wonder to all.
As the redeemed of the Lord, this is our time to overflow with prosperity [Zechariah‬ ‭1‬:‭17].
While people in the world may be struggling, it will be our time to soar. Where others may be breaking down, we will certainly be breaking forth to realms of overflowing blessings and supernatural accomplishments.

The “sundew” is a beautiful but deadly plant that has long fascinated botanists. It is a carnivorous plant which is able to attract, trap, kill, and derive nutrients from insect preys in a manner often unsettlingly similar to that of an animal predator. The sundew which grows in the Australian bush country, has a slender stem and tiny, round leaves fringed with hairs that glisten with bright drops of liquid as delicate as fine dew. But woe to the insect, however, that dares to dance on it. Although its attractive clusters of red, white, and pink blossoms are harmless, the leaves are deadly. The shiny moisture on each leaf is sticky and will imprison any bug that touches it. As an insect struggles to free itself, the vibration causes the leaves to close tightly around it. This innocent-looking plant then feeds on its victim.

Just like the Sundew, there are many things that may appear innocent but in reality are quite deadly.
This is why in life’s journey we can’t afford to walk by sight, but rather by the guidance of the Holy Spirit. There is a way that seems right unto men but the end thereof is death.
To escape the many ‘innocent’ looking traps of the enemy, we need to be guided by the Holy Spirit. Only Him knows the right way we are to go per time. The ways of the world are slippery, their boundaries are continually shifting, and you cannot afford to walk on such shifting sands lest you sink.
Not all that glitters is gold. Not all open doors are from God, some are traps in disguise. But it is only by the help of the Spirit that we can discern rightly. Obedience to God’s instructions is the way out of every deception and destruction.
We are to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not to lean on our own understanding. And as we acknowledge Him in all our ways, surely, He will direct our paths away from dangers and lead us to the glorious dimensions of destiny preordained for us.

PRAYER:
Lord, please help me to take heed to the instructions of scriptures and guidance of the Holy Spirit as I travel in this journey of life. Thank You for enabling me to escape every path of deception and destruction in Jesus’ Name.

One of the greatest spiritual leaders in the history of England was John Wesley, who founded the Methodist Church, .
Wesley was a spiritual giant who burned with the zeal to bring multitudes into God’s kingdom. He played a major role in the 18th-century revival in England.
Wesley traveled the length and breadth of England, preaching, teaching, and warning men to repent and come to Christ. He traveled through cities during an age where there were hardly good roads and when preaching was often met by hostile crowds. Once a bull was let loose in an audience he was addressing.
Yet none of the hostilities and oppositions could stop Wesley from pressing forward in his call.
He dealt with the hindrances to his ministry through prayers and relied on the help of the Holy Spirit.
Wesley was known for his lifestyle of fasting and prayers. He would rise up at 4 am every day to seek God for the first four hours of the day.
As he persevered spiritually, soon the power of the Holy Ghost that manifested through his ministry, silenced the naysers.
The manifestations of healings, signs and wonders drew people to the Gospel and brought many to repentance..
A man of extraordinarily health, he remained active until his death on March 2, 1791, in London.
Today, tens of millions of people are part of the Christian faith because of the relentless preaching of John Wesley.

All over the world we can see end-time predictions of the Bible being fulfilled before our very eyes.
In these last days, it is God’s plan that we position ourselves to be used to usher as many souls as possible into His kingdom..
In Mark 16, Jesus commanded us to go into the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. It is not an option, it is a commandment. It means we are mandated to preach to every one we can while we can.
To this end, there is a need for us to grow spiritually because we can’t give what we don’t have. We must be revived before we can revive others. We must be on fire before we can ignite the world.
Let us therefore today, receive the grace for renewed fire on our prayer altar, diligent study of God’s Word and unbroken fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
Whatever we do, wherever we go, let us keep burning with the fire and fervency of the Gospel.
We just have a narrow window of opportunity to fulfill the great commission before every door, finally shuts permanently. Let us not therefore squander the grace available to us at this hour.
By the help of the Holy Spirit, let us keep shining the light of Christ into the world to draw men into God’s kingdom. As we do this, God promises to establish us as stars that will shine forever. (Daniel 12:3)

The Moravian Brethren is one of the oldest Protestant denominations. It was founded in 1722 when persecuted Christians found refuge on the estate of Count Nikolaus Zinzendorf in Germany.
Count Zinzendorf was a man very passionate about Christ. As he welcomed more persecuted Christians to his estate, they soon became a thriving community of believers, where love reigned.
However, after a while, internal division arose when a false preacher named Johannes Sigismund Krüger infiltrated the community and began to spread divisive and fanatical messages. His influence caused discord until he was arrested and committed to an asylum.
Disturbed by the divisions, Count Zinzendorf worked to restore unity. During a communion service where the brethren pledged to love one another and rededicate their lives to Christ, the Holy Spirit powerfully descended, sparking a revival. Following this revival, the Moravians committed themselves to a 24-hour daily prayer chain, which lasted over 100 years and influenced future revivals around the world.

The anointing of the Holy Spirit flows in the place of love and unity!
The Early Church understood this secret; that was why they carefully avoided strife in their midst and endeavored to stay in one accord.
In Acts 6, when the enemy tried to bring in confusion over the sharing of food, the apostles immediately waded in and stopped the growing division.
One of the devil’s tactics is called ‘divide and rule’.
Often, he uses this strategy to create division amongst people so as to give him room to rule over their affairs. Anywhere there is disharmony in marriages, homes, families, churches, organizations, relationships, etc., it opens spiritual doorways for the enemy to bring in oppression and afflictions.
To stop people from receiving their miracles, the enemy breeds strife, hatred, and discord, knowing that it hinders the flow of the Spirit.
But we are not ignorant of the devices of the devil. This is why we must continually maintain our love walk under all circumstances. God is love, and when we walk in love, we abide in Him.
When we keep our hearts tender and love people despite their faults or wrongdoings, it causes the Holy Spirit to draw closer to us.
As the Spirit dwells in our midst, He will move mightily in manifestations of diverse miracles, signs, wonders, unprecedented breakthroughs and breaking forth on every side..

PRAYER: Lord, today, I receive the grace to shine the light of Your love wherever I go so as to attract greater Presence of the Holy Spirit in my life and experience His amazing wonders in Jesus Name.

Rabbi Kirt Schneider was brought up by his Jewish parents to strictly follow the Jewish traditions.
But as a young Jew, he often felt isolated, unfulfilled and lost. Though he became an accomplished wrestler by age 20, yet he continued to feel spiritually empty.
In his search for answers, he began reading books that would teach him how to exercise magical powers.
But during this quest, one night in 1978, he was suddenly awakened from his sleep and saw a vision of Jesus on the cross. Prior to then, no one had ever witnessed to him about Jesus. When the brief vision ended around 3:30am in the morning, he was certain God had revealed Jesus to him as the answer he had been searching for!
Thereafter he became a Christian and committed his life to a passionate pursuit of Jesus and to being used by God for His glory.
He accredits his amazing transformation from Judaism to Christianity to the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit.
Today, Rabbi Schneider is one of the world’s best-known Jewish-Messianic preachers. His Television show, ‘Discovering the Jewish Jesus’ is broadcast on more than 30 Christian channels in almost 200 countries around the world.

Just as God radically changed the life of Rabbi Schneider, by His Spirit, God wants to open up beautiful new chapters in our lives.
He wants to transform us to the extent that we become a wonder to ourselves and to everyone around us .
When the disciples came in contact with the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, they became so transformed to the extent that people thought they were drunk.
In Acts 4:13, when the Jewish leaders saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.
Likewise, through daily contact with Jesus, via His Word, we will become so energized and anointed that men will marvel at us.
On leaving the earth, Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to be our helper, our comforter, our guide and activator. Through Him, we are turned into ‘another man’ and empowered to fulfill our glorious destiny.
Today, as we make a fresh commitment to seek the Holy Spirit wholeheartedly, it will be our season to arise from the ashes of stagnancy, redundancy and obscurity to experience the beauty of unending progress and supernatural breakthroughs.

PRAYER: Father, today, I receive the grace to seek You with greater fervency so that I can experience a great anointing of Your Spirit. Thank You Lord for taking me from limitations to a new level of abundance, overflow and glorious new heights in Jesus Name. .
