As a young boy, Jay Cooke read a little book on Christian giving. From what he learnt, he resolved to always faithfully give towards God’s work.
At 17 years old, Jay began working as a bank clerk and through his commitment to serve God, he rapidly rose in ranks. By the time he was 21 years old, he had become a partner in the firm.
Few years after, Cooke left the firm and opened his own private banking house and began paying tithe of his entire business. As he gave generously to the spread of the Gospel his business prospered greatly to the extent that some of the largest financial transactions of the country were entrusted to his firm. In no time Jay became one of the richest men in America. Not only was he a financial mogul, he was also a dedicated Christian who taught a Bible class in his home. During his lifetime, he provided resources for the construction of Churches and gave generously to many Christian organizations and schools.
The giving covenant will always open the heavens and release overflow of blessings upon our lives. When we make the promotion of God’s kingdom our first priority, then everything else will eventually become added to us.
To experience overflow, we must follow divine principles.. Making God the center of your life will ultimately make you a central figure on the earth.
The truth is that life does not get better by chance; it gets better by the choices we make.
When we connect to God’s financial covenant, we will prosper even in the desert. Despite any harsh economic climate, we will see doors open miraculously to establish us as major players in our field and lenders to nations.
Through the covenant of investing into God’s kingdom, we stay connected to a supply line that never runs dry because the covenant is eternally stronger than any condition on earth.
Certainly, as we seek God with all our heart and dedicate ourselves to the expansion of His Kingdom, the Lord will cause doors of breakthrough to open up for us, crooked places shall be made straight and divine blessings will overflow our lives.
PRAYER: Lord, please enable me to be dedicated to the promotion of Your Kingdom so that I can experience amazing breakthroughs and divine promotions. I thank You for indeed blessing me beyond measure in Jesus Name. .
