OCTOBER 4; YOUR MIND IS DIVINELY LOADED!

2 Timothy 1:7 ‘For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.’

DAILY READING; • Hebrews 4:14-6:12; Genesis 49:1-50:26; Psalm 39

Tony Gaskins is a motivational speaker, author and life coach who is known internationally and listed among the 50 most motivational People on the Web.
However, Tony’s past life looks nothing like who he is today. His story is that of a prodigal son; who went from being a church boy to becoming a street thug. Though he was raised in the church and his father was a pastor, he rebelled while in his teens.
Growing up in a low-income neighborhood, where the vices of gangs, drugs, and crime were a way of life, Tony joined the wrong crowd. He eventually made money and bought an expensive car, which he adored.
But when one day his car was stolen, reality seemed to hit him. He saw the vanity of his worldly pursuits, and realized that just like his car was stolen, his life could also be stolen without warning. From that day, he repented and returned to the Lord. While many of his friends would end up either killed or serving life sentences in prison, Tony began a new life of serving God.
At 25 years, he started his first company and made rapid progress. Operating in his gifts he soon became a highly sought- after speaker. Today, Tony owns five companies and is a Bestselling Author and Life Coach who has spoken in many countries around the world.

In the parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15, the turning point was when he ‘came to himself’. Coming to himself implied he was not himself before then. His mind had been clouded by wrong perceptions; thinking that happiness could come from money, riotous living, partying, etc.
But in that destiny-defining moment when he changed his thinking, his life also changed. Realizing he had been a fool, he did what was needed to end his misery and suffering.
Just like the prodigal son, anytime we find ourselves stuck and things seem not to be working, we need to stop and think of where we could have missed the mark.
Redundancy in the life of a Christian could stem from either sin or ignorance of God’s Word. If we are consistently not getting desired results, then we need to sit down and reason out what to do to correct the situation. Reasoning is the ability to process issues into logical and productive ends
After the prodigal son sat down and reasoned, he came up with a plan of action. He arose and went back home to his father, the result was that his dignity and progress were restored.
On the contrary, the impotent man by the pool of Bethesda in John 5, stayed in the same spot for thirty-eight years with the excuse that ‘he had no man to help him’. Almost four decades passed and yet he could not think up a plan to get himself into the pool before others, whenever the angel stirred the waters.
A lack of reasoning can make a man waste a whole lifetime grounded on the same spot. But the right mental exercise will produce progress and excellence in us. Indeed our success and progress is tied to the effective use of our minds.. God is not against our reasoning, He said in Isaiah 1:18 ‘Come now, and let us reason together’
As believers our minds are loaded with divine deposits.
2 Timothy 1:7 says that God has given us a sound mind and 1 Corinthians 2:16 says that we have the mind of Christ.
By God’s grace as we begin to put our minds effectively to work, certainly we will display superior reasoning that will help us escape any tight situation and excel in every area of life.

PRAYER: Lord, please enable me to constantly fill my mind with Your Word so that I will begin to manifest superior reasoning. As I put my mind to work, by Your grace, I shall obtain exceptional results that will bring glory to Your Name wherever I go in Jesus Name.

OCTOBER 3; OVERCOMING EVEN WHEN OVERWHELMED!.

Philippians 4:12-14 ‘I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.’

DAILY READING; Hebrews 3:1-4:13; Genesis 48; Psalm 38

In 2003, at 32 years of age, Tristan Todd became the youngest high school principal in the state of North Carolina. He became the principal at Ledford High School in Thomasville after being an assistant principal there since 1999.
Outwardly, he was celebrated as an upstanding person in the community and it seemed everything was going well for him. But inwardly his world was actually crumbling because his wife loved the country-club lifestyle and he couldn’t afford it. He started gambling to try to make more money. After four years of marriage, when he could no longer fund her lavish lifestyle, his wife left him.
Tristan became very depressed and things got worse when someone introduced him to marijuana. From there he began snorting cocaine until he was spending all his money on drugs and was forced to move in with his parents. Feeling very overwhelmed by his troubles and disappointed with himself, over how his life had degenerated he then decided to kill himself.
One morning he wrote a suicide letter and laid it on the bed for his parents to find and then drove his car to a rural train track, parked and waited for the train to hit him.
The train did hit him, but he didn’t die. Tristan Todd survived and after admission in the hospital he eventually recovered and was discharged.
Yet his life remained troubled until when one day he finally surrendered his life to Christ.
With salvation came joy, overcoming his addictions and understanding the real purpose for his life. New meaning came to his life and he began to experience real peace, positive changes and greater blessings.

Oftentimes, we don’t know what people really go through behind the scenes. Though outwardly they may seem to have it all, inwardly their lives may be full of turmoil.
While looking successful on the outside, they are conflicted and afflicted on the inside.
The truth is that life without Christ will always end in crisis. No one can overcome the struggles of life by their own strength.
God has designed us to triumph over life’s struggles through being strengthened in our inner man by Christ.
The apostle Paul went through shipwreck, beatings almost unto death, imprisonment and other terrible trials in his ministry and yet through Christ, he overcame all.
He could have been depressed, defeated and given up his ministry, but he recognized his own lack of strength and ability to overcome adversities and maintained steadfast faith in God’s Words as he kept pressing forward towards the mark of the high calling in Christ.
No matter what trials, troubles or tribulations you may encounter, always know that it is through faith in God that you overcome the world.
Through focus on the Word you will develop a mindset of victory that keeps you overcoming even when you may feel overwhelmed. As long as we are on the earth, there will be times when we face difficulties. But when you stay anchored in Christ, He will get you through any storm and turn the season of adversity into times of growth and advancement for you.
Today, globally, there are concerns about the future, finances, health, family, career etc. But even in the midst of the chaos and bleakness in the world, God still reigns supreme and is in control of our lives. As long as we can focus on His Word and retain our joy we are destined to always triumph.

PRAYER: Lord I thank You for the grace to keep praising You in every situation, because I know that I can do all things through Christ and by faith triumph always in Jesus Name.

OCTOBER 2; CHANGE YOUR THOUGHT, CHANGE YOUR LIFE!

Proverbs 23:7 ‘For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.’

DAILY READING; Hebrews 2; Genesis 46:28-47:31; Psalm 37

From 1886, no athlete could complete a mile’s race within four minutes. Despite the efforts of brilliant coaches and gifted runners in North America, Europe, and Australia, it remained impossible. This challenge became the Holy Grail of athletic accomplishment, which every runner strived to achieve. Eventually the ‘experts” came to the conclusion that a human body lacked the capacity to complete a mile in less than four minutes
Everyone appeared to agree with the experts except a medical student studying to become a neurologist. Having a better understanding of how the brain works he came to realize that the challenge was more of a psychological barrier than a physical one. This student named Roger Bannister then decided to devise his own special system for training so as to complete a mile”s race in four minutes.. He refused to let the general negative belief form a stronghold in his mind and began envisioning himself breaking the record.
He did exactly that on May 6, 1954, when he finished a mile’s race in 3:59.4 minutes. Bannister defied all odds and made sports history. Interestingly, when Bannister broke the mark and other runners saw that it could be done, they also began to complete a mile”s race in less than four minutes.
In the last half century, more than a thousand runners have been able to accomplish this feat and conquer a barrier that had once been considered hopelessly out of reach.

Truly as a man thinks in his heart so is he.
A wrong belief can take root in the mind and grow into what the Bible calls a “stronghold” (2 Corinthians 10:4). And when a thought becomes that strong, it begins to control outlooks, attitudes, and actions.
This was clearly what happened when people believed it was impossible to complete a mile’s race within four minutes until someone who dared to think out of the box showed up.
Truly, whatever a man can conceive, he can achieve.
Where the mind goes, the man follows.
We win or lose in life based on what dominates our mind.
This is why the Bible says, in Romans 12:2 [TPT]
‘Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.’

Many times due to what other people around us think, we often find ourselves lowering our expectations and settling for less. Today there are many talks in the society about increasing economy hardship. While this may be the fact, the truth is that as a child of God the covenant under which you operate is stronger than any economic climate in the world. Let God’s Word be your standard and not what other people think or experience.
You have a portion of supernatural supply in Christ, therefore get rid of the scarcity mentality and stand firm on God’s promises to prosper you even in the desert.
God is calling you to be a trail blazer, a trendsetter, a difference maker and a barrier breaker. The Faithful One who has called you is able to accomplish His plans in your life despite the conditions in the world.. What you need to do is study the Word until faith is built up in you to see ‘a lifting up’ when others say there is ‘a casting down’.
Victory and abundance start in your mind. Your thoughts determine your future because your actions always follow your thoughts!
Today let us receive the grace to change our old mindset so as to experience new blessings of breakthroughs, opportunities and greater open doors.

PRAYER: Lord, please enable me to meditate constantly on Your Word so that I can have the faith to achieve incredible things. By Your grace what looks impossible to men will surely become possible in my life in Jesus Name. .

OCTOBER 1; THINKING YOUR WAY INTO GREATER OPEN DOORS!

Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ ‭ “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

DAILY READING; Hebrews 1; Genesis 45:1-46:27; Psalm 36

A Nigerian-American preacher, John K. Amanchukwu Sr became famous after taking a stand during a school board meeting at the Indian River County (Florida) in August 2023. During that meeting, there was an uproar when he attempted to read out aloud the inappropriate contents of some books that were allowed to be in their children’s school library.
One of the videos which became viral was when Pastor John K. Amanchukwu read from the children’s book “13 Reasons Why” by Jay Asher.
As he quoted explicit and graphic passages from this book, he was constantly interrupted and asked to stop by the board members. When Amanchukwu continued reading from the book, security were called in and swiftly escorted him away from the microphone.
Another parent was cut off while attempting to read a passage from the book “Living Dead Girl” by Elizabeth Scott, describing an incident where an adolescent is exposed to pornography.
When pastor Amanchukwu’s video was made public, it went viral with millions of views. Many people were outraged that such obscene and sexually explicit contents could be available to young children in their school library.
Consequent to the public objections, the Florida school board voted unanimously to remove several of such inappropriate books from the school.

Because pastor Amanchukwu refused to confirm, he was able to positively transform the school’s policies
While many people applauded his courage to stand up and make a difference, he only saw himself as obeying the call to serve.
The truth is that as the gross darkness greatly increases in the world, sometimes it becomes necessary for us to go beyond the walls of the Church and do something practical, even radical to positively impact lives.
Jesus has made a difference in our hearts so that we can make a difference in our families, communities and nations.
God doesn’t just want to work in you, He wants to work through you to positively affect the world. We have been called as watchmen on the wall in these last days to stand in the gap and stop the encroachment of evil in our environment.
But we cannot give what we don’t have. We need a change of mindset. As we diligently study the Word, we will receive the mind of Christ and develop the deep convictions that will propel us into positive actions . The interesting thing is that while pastor Amanchukwu was trying to stand up to the school’s wrong policies, it became an incident that made him famous and opened up massive doors of opportunities. Indeed when our desire is to make positive changes, God can use it to open up greater doors in our lives.
On this first day of October, let us receive the grace and courage to begin to stand up for the truth wherever we go. It is time to be less complacent and more proactive in expressing our faith. As we step into this last quarter of the year, let our hearts burn with passion to do outstanding things for Christ.
Certainly, as we passionately seek to make a difference in the world, our lives will supernaturally overflow with divine rewards and abundant blessings..

PRAYER: Lord, today, I receive the grace to open up my heart to think in line with Your Word so that I can make a difference in the lives of others and positively impact my generation in Jesus Name.

SEPTEMEBR 30; WINNING OUR RACE BY DIVINE GRACE!

Deuteronomy 1:30-33 ‘The Lord your God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes; And in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the Lord thy God bare thee, as a man doth bear his son’

DAILY READING; Luke 24:13-53; Genesis 44; Psalm 35

The Jungle Marathon in Brazil is one of the toughest races in the world. Runners from across the globe often participate in this extreme footrace that takes place in the Amazon Rainforest. With anacondas in the ponds, piranhas in the rivers and jaguars in the trees, Brazil’s Jungle Marathon is not for the faint of heart. The most dangerous part of the course isn’t the animals, however, but the climate, which at nearly 40C and 99% humidity, can cause overheating in the runners.
Other dangerous challenges abound along the course which traverses swamps, river crossings, steep descents, narrow trails, and harrowing climbs. The race is so tough that roughly 25% of runners who enter into it drop out before reaching the end.
The 2015 edition of the Jungle Marathon saw 11 of the 41 starters drop out on the grueling 254km course. The course took runners through several rivers and swamp crossings in an area known for piranhas, caimans, anacondas, jaguars and venomous snakes.
The year’s winner was Thomas Wittek from Germany. Even before the race started, he was stung by a stingray. But in spite of the injury, he went on to win in 40 hours and 10 minutes.

Our race this year could be likened to a jungle race with dangers and pitfalls on every corner.
Since we started the race this year, there has been all kinds of setbacks in form of worsening economic conditions, political instability, social unrest etc. But by God’s grace we are still in the race and making progress. Despite, how tough the trials and temptations, we have endured and persevered because the Lord has been on our side.
In their journey to Canaan, the Israelites were able to successfully go through the wilderness filled with all kinds of dangers, because of God’s presence.
Deuteronomy 8:15 talks about how God led the Israelites ‘through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water;’
As we look back at the many twists and turns we have passed through since the beginning of this year both as a nation and individuals we have every cause to be grateful because God has been faithful. Despite all the shakings and quaking, we are still here and standing because of God’s divine grace and mercies.
Having come to the end of September today it is a good time to give God worthy praise from the depths of our hearts. As we get ready to step into the year’s last quarter, we trust that God will go before us and make every crooked path straight.
Deuteronomy 1:30-33 says ‘The Lord your God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes; And in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the Lord thy God bare thee, as a man doth bear his son’
As we keep our trust and focus upon God, all the barriers and limitations that may try to hinder our progress, will be cleared out of our way. Surely, the good work God has started in us this year, He will surely bring it to a flourishing end.

PRAYER: Father, I am very grateful for how far You have brought me this year. I thank You for continuing to see me through and for manifesting Your power in every area of my life in Jesus’ Name.

SEPTEMBER 29; DIVINE STRATEGY FOR WINNING LIFE’S BATTLES!

PROVERBS :24: 5-6 ‘A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength. For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.’

DAILY READING – Luke 24:1-12; Genesis 43; Psalm 34

A highly secret mission named Operation Focus was what helped to save Israel from impending destruction at beginning of the 1967 Arab-Israel war. This operation was such a great game-changer in the war it became known in Egypt as al-naksa (“the setback”).
Prior to then Egypt had planned to launch bombers against Israel to take out their airfields and other strategic military positions. Seeing that Egypt and their allies had the greater army and weapons, Israel chose to apply wisdom to the situation.
When American President, Lyndon Johnson could not provide support because the U.S was already involved with war in Vietnam, Israel then asked him to help delay Egypt’s plan of immediate attack.
Pressure from the U.S and Russia eventually helped to convince Egypt to postpone their attack. And that was all Israel needed. That little delay cost Egypt the victory.
In that window of time, Israel chose to take the offensive and launched the highly intelligent ‘Operation Focus’. Through this operation, the Israeli air force in a surprise attack, struck suddenly and wiped out the Egyptian and Syrian air forces while they were still on the ground.
Israeli Air Force’s success at destroying the Egyptian and Syrian air forces on the ground paved the way for full Israeli military control of the skies and thereafter the ground also until they had the victory..
The wisdom to ask for time and utilize that time to hatch an effective plan helped Israel to win the war.

Ecclesiastes 9:18 says that wisdom is better than weapons of war. In situations that seem very tough and greater than your capacity to handle, you can always win through the application of wise counsel.
In Daniel chapter 2, Daniel faced death because king Nebuchadnezzar had threatened to kill all the wise men of Babylon, including Daniel for failure to interpret his dream. In that tough situation, Daniel had the wisdom to ask the king to give him some time. Within that time he was able to seek God’s face and get the needed answer.

Sometimes, when faced with difficult circumstances, it is wise to take time to consult the Spirit of God on what to do.
Important decisions are not to be taken in a hurry. It is part of the enemy’s tactics to put you under pressure, to hurry you to take a rash decision, to make you feel it is now or never. But in the battles of life, we need time to plan and strategize. Most importantly we need time to get divine direction.
Many times God does not speak in a hurry. Like Elijah waited for the still small voice, sometimes you have to wait in God’s Presence until He drops into your spirit what next to do.
It is important to take time to hear what God is saying because the counsel you receive from Him is what will help you win your battle.
Proverbs 19:21 says ‘There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.’
God’s counsel and wisdom is always superior to the other plans and devises in our hearts. Therefore, do not just rush into battles, always wait and ask “Lord what should I do?’.
As you wait upon The Lord your strength will be renewed and you will mount up with wings as eagles. Through the divine counsel and wisdom you receive, your victory will surely be established.

PRAYER: Lord, please grant me the grace to continually wait upon you so as to receive the divine wisdom I need to win my battles and accomplish the great plans You have ordained for my life in Jesus Name..

SEPTEMBER 28: THE WISDOM THAT GUARANTEES SUCCESS

James 3:17 “But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.”

DAILY READING: Acts 7:1-22; Like 23, Genesis 33, Psalm 28

William Lewis Douglas was a renowned American businessman and politician. He founded the W. L. Douglas Shoe Company, a highly successful business that became one of the world’s largest shoe manufacturers.

Douglas started out in life as a struggling young man who couldn’t find a job. One day he was finally down to his last dollar. That week, while he was in Church, as the collection basket was being passed, he sowed a seed he couldn’t afford to sow. He put half of his last remaining dollar into the offering basket. The next morning he heard of a job in a neighboring town. However, the railroad fare to that town was one dollar. Though he didn’t have the complete fare, he used his last remaining fifty cents to pay for a ticket that could at least take him half-way, so that he would trek for the rest iof the journey. When the train stopped him, he heard of a factory in that town where they were employing men. He decided to go there and apply for a job. Within thirty minutes he had a job paying a salary of five dollars more than he would have received from the job he was originally headed to. He was apprenticed into the shoe trade.

In 1876, he established his own business which grew rapidly over the next twenty years. As he prospered, he entered into politics and soon won the election to become the Governor of Massachusetts in 1905.

His success story began because he was willing to obey the Scriptural principle of sowing sacrificial seeds which eventually led to the harvest of a successful future.

Adhering to the wisdom of God as revealed in His Word is a vital secret to succeeding in life. While our human thinking wants us to hold on to the little we have, divine wisdom demands that we give out what we have so as to receive more. The wisdom of God which is from above is what bears good fruits in our lives (James 3:17).

Sowing sacrificial seeds in time of need is divine wisdom that will always bail a person out of financial difficulty. In creation God ordained the cycle of sowing and reaping as a fundamental principle of growth and progress. Genesis 8:22 says that as long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest will never cease. Those who subscribe to this principle can never be stranded in any situation.

Anytime we come to a crossroad on the journey of destiny, our surest path to follow is obedience to God’s Word. Even when it does not make immediate sense, our obedience to divine instructions will always deliver us from destruction. The truth is that everything that happens to us in life is determined by the level of our response to God’s Word. When we sow obedience to God’s Word we will reap His blessings. But those who choose to sow disobedience will reap the consequences. The Scriptures lets us know that “Those who sow wind will harvest whirlwind” (Hosea 8:7). “Those who plow evil, sow trouble they will reap it” (Job. 4:8). “He who sows wickedness reaps trouble” (Proverbs 22:8).

Understanding the principle of sowing and reaping should encourage us not to be bothered by the actions of evil people knowing that whatever any one sows they will eventually reap.

Scriptures will always be fulfilled because God’s word will never return to Him void (Isaiah 56:10-11). As we follow the Scriptural wisdom of sowing good seeds today, we will surely reap the harvest of a better tomorrow. Let us therefore refuse to grow weary in well doing and continue sowing the seeds of tireless service towards God’s Kingdom, because we will surely reap a good harvest in due time.

PRAYER: Lord please grant me the grace to always follow the divine wisdom of sowing good seeds in Your kingdom knowing that my labour will never be in vain. I thank You Lord, for the great and mighty harvest You are bringing my way in Jesus Name.

SEPTEMBER 27: GOD’S STATEMENT OF LOVE TO US.

.

1 Corinthians 6:20 “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

DAILY READING – Luke 22, Genesis 32, Psalm 27

Franciszek Gajowniczek was a Polish army sergeant whose life was spared when a Franciscan monk took his place in death.
Franciszek Gajowniczek, was born in Poland. By 1921, he had married, and had two sons. He was serving as a professional soldier in the Polish army when he was captured during the 1939 invasion of Poland by Nazi Germany. The Nazis sentenced him to forced labour at the infamous concentration camp of Auschwitz.
In May 1941, when a prisoner escaped, the prison commandant ordered that ten other prisoners must die as punishment for the prison break. The prisoners were to die by starvation in a dungeon at Auschwitz called the “hunger bunker,”.
Gajowniczek was one of those selected by the Nazis to die, but he pleaded for his life to be spared because he had a wife and children.
When a Monk named Rev. Maksymilian Kolbe who was also a prisoner heard his cry, the priest asked to be allowed to die in his place The prison commandant agreed to the switch.
And so the priest was sent to the underground cell to die, while Gajowniczek’s life was spared.
After five years in prison, Gajowniczek Franciszek was freed when the Allied forces defeated the Nazis. He would later live to be 93 years old and for the rest of his life he publicized the priest’s heroic act of sacrifice and love that had saved him.

While it may seem such a difficult thing to do, there has been other records in history of people who chose to die for someone else whom they perceived to be good and deserving to be alive.
But Christ’s sacrifice is amazing and unprecedented because He chose to die for a people completely unworthy and totally undeserving of His life.
The drama at Calvary is the greatest love story ever told. The cross is the symbol of the deepest love and greatest sacrifice ever made in human history.
Mankind didn’t deserve redemption or salvation, yet on Golgotha’s hill, the Lamb of God took our place and was slain to save us from eternal death and hell.
Christ’s death on the cross is God’s statement of love to the world.
Because of Christ’s sacrifice, we have been freed from the bondage of sin and ushered into a new life of righteousness.
Christ saved us so that we can we live in dominion and power as sons of God upon the earth.
Living a life of weakness, limitations and mediocrity does not reflect the great price of Christ’s Blood paid for our souls. We have a responsibility to live in ways that daily glorifies God.
We are not born again to suffer again, rather we are redeemed to natural live in the supernatural.Through redemption we have access to divine wisdom that ensures we stand out in our field of endeavor.
Today, through the power in the Blood, let us come against any thing that tries to still keep us in low mentality, foolishness or any form of affliction. Because the son of God has set us free, we are truly free indeed.

PRAYER; Lord I thank You for the price You paid at the cross for my deliverance and salvation. Please grant me the grace to live a life that glorifies You, even as I continually share the good news of redemption with everyone that comes my way in Jesus Name.

SEPTEMBER 26; THINGS WILL CHANGE IN YOUR FAVOR.

Micah 7:8 “Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.”

DAILY READING – Luke 21, Genesis 31, Psalm 26

In 1979, coach Herb Brooks faced the impossible task of training amateur American players to win an ice hockey game, against a Soviet team that were far better than them.
Within a year, coach Herb Brooks was able to produce a United States’ Olympic hockey team of college boys who would become the youngest players in U.S. national team history.
In contrast, the Soviet hockey team members were mature professionals who had won the gold medal in five of the six previous Olympics.
To make matters worse for the US, in an exhibition game played a week before the Olympics, the Soviet team walloped the amateur U.S team 10-3.
And so the Soviets were expected to easily skate their way to another gold in the Olympic games.
But despite the great odds against them, the American team and their coach hoped for a miracle as they played in the epic semi-final match on February 1980.
Initially in the game, the Soviets were leading 3–2, but after the first half, as the second half progressed, amazingly, the amateur US team, began to gain the upper hand.
The spectators were greatly shocked as the bunch of amateur American players finally beat the renowned Soviet hockey team; 4–3 and eventually carried home the gold medal.
This unexpected victory of the US team became known as “the miracle on ice”.
It was one of the most iconic moments in sports history. Sports Illustrated magazine called it the ‘greatest sports moment of the 20th century’. The International Ice Hockey Federation named it the best international ice hockey story of the past 100 years.

The truth is that in the game of life, the tables can turn at any time.
Especially, when you are a child of God, it is foolishness for anyone to rejoice at your failure because things are bound to change in your favor.
Micah 7:8 says “Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.”
Though the righteous may fall seven times, he will surely rise again. Though your beginning may be small, your later end shall greatly increase. By covenant, our path is meant to keep shining brighter and brighter, which means things can only keep getting better and better.
We serve the God of sudden visitations who is the ultimate game changer.. As we concern ourselves with honoring God, He can suddenly tip the scale of His blessings in our direction.
The secret to a divine change of story is to keep making God our number one priority. When you put God first, you can never become last.
God honors those that honor Him and He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him.
Therefore to see miracles of sudden changes, let us draw closer to God through a diligent commitment of studying the Word, prayers, worship and giving towards the Gospel.
When God is involved in your endeavors, your situation can suddenly change from ordinary to extraordinary and from grass to grace. Especially, in this 9th month which symbolizes a season of birthing, as we draw closer to the Holy Spirit, we shall be birthing new ideas through divine inspiration.
Through the quickening of the Spirit we will manifest the overtaker’s anointing for speedy accomplishments.
By God’s grace, it shall be our turnaround season of testimonies where every sadness is about to be converted to gladness and every disappointment turns into a blessing.

PRAYER;
Father, I thank You for bringing a sudden positive change to my story. I know it is indeed my season to see greater dimensions of Your miracle, signs and wonders in all my endeavors in Jesus Name.

SEPTEMBER 25; TURNAROUND THROUGH ENCOUNTER WITH DIVINE WISDOM.

1 Corinthians 12:7 “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.”

DAILY READING; Luke 20, Genesis 30, Psalm 25.

Poverty so afflicted Peter J. Daniels’ lineage that his family members were third generation welfare recipients. Most of his relatives were people who had either been to jail or suffering from addictions and afflictions.
As a growing child, Peter suffered from ill health and dyslexia. He never passed one grade at school and found himself to be virtually illiterate.
By the age of thirteen years he became a bricklayer but barely made enough money. At 26 years of age he was hopelessly in debt and it seemed his life was at a dead end.
However everything changed when he gave his life to Christ on 25 May 1959. From this point there seemed to be a divine quickening of his mentality. He began to have greater dreams and aspirations for his life. He then purchased Dictionaries and began to study them to understand words, pronunciations and speech. Without a tutor or mentor he started to study economics, politics, modern and ancient history, theology, law, philosophy and business. He read 2,000 biographies and thereafter went into business. Subsequently he succeeded in building a large business empire.
From an illiterate,
Peter J. Daniels became a respected international business statesman, Author, Motivational Speaker and Entrepreneur who has spoken to live audiences throughout the world. He is recognized among the world’s greatest corporate giants and has been honored by universities, theological colleges, institutions, governments, businesses and humanitarian organizations. He is most especially well known for his Christian faith, promotion of Christian causes and great support of missionary work.

Through the impartation of divine wisdom, the Spirit of God can bring an amazing turnaround into a person’s life. No matter how disadvantaged or dysfunctional your background may have been,. your connection with divine wisdom can dramatically transform your life and turn you into a wonder.
Truly, redemption grants us amazing possibilities and capabilities. When you become a child of God, you receive the mind of Christ which will affect your thinking and actions and enable you to achieve extraodrdinary results.
It doesn’t matter what your past story may have been, or the discouraging situations or overwhelming odds against you, as long as you can make a strong connection to God, your supernatural turnaround is sure.
Especially, as we draw closer to the end of this year, it is time to seek a fresh encounter with the Holy Spirit so that we can position ourselves for the supernatural blessings with which God crowns the year. Though you may have toiled in the past months, the story is about to change. According to Zechariah 9:12 God will give you double for all your trouble.
In these few remaining months inexplicable miracles are about to chase you down and overtake you. Things are about to suddenly change in your favor and you will experience an overflow as your cup runs over.
Because praise is the sickle of supernatural harvest, let us stay strong in faith and keep giving glory to God in every situation. As we give God high praises, surely, He will take us to our high places in this season.

PRAYER; Lord I thank You for what You are set to do in my life in this last months of the year. I know indeed that everything is turning around for my good as You crown the year for me with sudden miracles and supernatural breakthroughs in every area of my life in Jesus Name
