DECEMBER 2; ENGAGING THE POWER OF PRAISE

..

Psalm 67:5-6 ‘Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.’

DAILY READING; •       Acts 2:1-13; Deuteronomy 13-14; Job 10

Stormie Omartian  was raised by a mentally ill mother who was very abusive and kept her locked in a closet for much of her early childhood. As a result, Stormie grew up with a lot of depression, fear, anxiety, anger, feelings of hopelessness, helplessness, futility, and rejection. By the time she was in her twenties, she was still locked in a closet emotionally.

As she began working in Hollywood, her career seemed to really take off and things appeared to be going very well. However, within her the depression and emotional turmoil continued and became a weight that began to drag her down.

Though, Stormie tried to cope with her pain by drinking heavily, taking dangerous drugs, and dabbling deeply into eastern religions, the occult, and unhealthy relationships; still, she found no relief.

By age 28, her inner turmoil began to affect her outwardly. Her career began to go downhill and her first marriage crashed. She contemplated suicide and began to gradually pile up pills with which she planned to kill herself.

But before she could carry out her plans, a Christian friend shared the Gospel with her and introduced her to Jesus.

When Stormie surrendered her life to Christ, she finally found peace. As she started attending Church, she learned the secret of worship and praise. Stormie soon noticed that as she began to really worship God, immediately, her life changed for the better. Her worship extended into witting worship songs. Today she has written hundreds of worship songs with her husband Michael Omartian and they have recorded several musical albums.

Stormie launched into a writing career and has written over 50 books, including her popular bestseller ‘The Power of a Praying Wife’.

Despite Stormie’s painful past, she was able to overcome and experience victory as she learned the secret of praise.

As believers, we can experience victory in every situation when we understand the miracle power of praise.

Despite the challenges of the past and present, we can always stop the enemy in his tracks by engaging the Presence of God through praise.

Psalm 9: 3 says that our enemies are turned back, they fall and perish at God’s Presence.

If there is any difficult challenge facing you today, through engaging God’s Presence, you can overcome it.

In this last month, God is set to crown the year for us with good things, but we need the sickle of joy to reap our harvest. It will be hard to experience greater open doors, if you stay in a depressed state. When joy withers from men the harvest of the field perishes [Joel 1:11-12].

But when we engage in praise, the earth yields its increase to us.

Psalms 67:5-7 says ‘Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase’

Therefore, today, determine to maintain your praise at all costs. Don’t ever give room to depression. God will perform His Word no matter what it looks like. By God’s grace you shall certainly finish strong this year. Your path will keep shining more and more [Proverbs 4:18].

In this month of December, it will be your season to see supernatural doors open, chains will be broken and you will indeed receive the harvest of the seeds sown all through the year. in Jesus Name!

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for granting me the grace to always maintain an atmosphere of praise and joy around me. I thank You for causing a speedy manifestation of Your promises in my life in this last month in Jesus Name.

DECEMBER 1; OUR CROWNING SEASON!

Psalm 65:11-13 ‘Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness. They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.’

DAILY READING; • Acts 1; Deuteronomy 11-12; Job 9

In 1923 two pastors who chose to judge God faithful despite their trials were divinely brought together to present to the world the hymn “Great Is Thy Faithfulness”.
It would become one of the most beloved songs of all times.
The writer of the hymn was Thomas Chisholm and the music was composed by William M. Runyan.
Before the song, Thomas Chisholm and William M. Runyan had never met yet they had suffered personal tragedies that felt remarkably similar. Chisholm was a Methodist pastor, whose health problems forced him to resign and do other less tasking jobs to support his family. Despite his condition, he judged God faithful and wrote the poem, ‘Great is Thy Faithfulness’.
William Runyan was also a Methodist minister and traveling evangelist. But after years of service, he began to gradually lose his voice and could no longer preach as he used to. Runyan didn’t complain but praised God in his situation and started work on a hymnal project to promote Gospel songs.
This project caught the attention of Chisholm who then mailed his poems to Runyan.
Runyan loved the poem ‘Great is Thy faithfulness’ and soon composed a befitting music for it.
When the song was presented to the public it became instantly loved. Chisholm and Runyan indeed saw God’s faithfulness as their song would make them famous and cause them to be celebrated for generations to come.

Jeremiah was known as the “weeping prophet” for his deep and abiding passion for his people and their city. In Lamentations 3:19–24, he grieves over Babylon’s destruction of Jerusalem, but concludes with a hymn of praise.
He says in Lamentations 3;21-22] ‘It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.’
The truth is that no matter what we may have faced this year, God has been faithful and it is only by His mercies that we have not been consumed. .
As we arrive finally at the last month of the year today, it is a good time to look back to count our blessings and recount the faithfulness of God. Indeed God has been good.
Despite all the challenges and peculiar problems of this year; here we are today, seeing the last month of this year. God fought our hidden battles against known and unknown enemies. Time and time again the Blood of Jesus kept speaking ‘Passover’ to the evil arrows sent against our health, finances, family, relationships etc.
Therefore on this first day of December, it is time to deliberately give God worthy praise. We stepped out unsure of what the year held, but by trusting in the Lord, He is bringing us to a flourishing end.
According to Psalm 65:11-13, God crowns the year with His goodness. Therefore in this last month of ‘Deckember” let us expect to be decked with new colors. Because better is the end of a matter than the beginning thereof, it is our season to see beauty in the place of ashes. Surely, every mourning shall be turned into dancing and every spirit of heaviness replaced with the garment of praise.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for Your great and amazing doings in my life this year. You are indeed good and faithful! And as I praise You today, I know You are set to do yet more amazing things in my life in this crowning month of the year in Jesus Name. ..

NOVEMBER 30; A WORD IN SEASON!

Isaiah 55:11 ‘So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.’

DAILY READING; • Matthew 28; Deuteronomy 9-10; Job 8

Rees Howell was one of the greatest intercessors and revivalists of the 20th century. He was used by God to ignite a great revival that spread throughout South Africa, and other regions of Africa.
Rees Howell had an uncle named Dick, who was invalid and unable to walk for 30 years. One day, Howell received a word of prophecy that his uncle would be healed soon.
Though it appeared a difficult word to believe, Rees went and told his uncle what he had heard.
Uncle Dick then went into prayers for himself and received confirmation from the Lord that he would be healed in four and half months time.
When people heard uncle Dick repeat what the Lord told him , there was a lot of doubt. When soon afterwards, his health took a turn for the worse and he was confined to a bed; it seemed to confirm the doubters’ views.
But Uncle Dick remained steadfast in faith even though he was still bedridden. The Lord had told him that he would be healed at 5.00am on May 15th. On the night of the 14th he had a peaceful sleep. He woke up to the clock striking 5.00am and found himself immediately healed!
He walked the three miles to Church later that day to the utter amazement of people in the town. For the next five years he shared the Gospel and visited every house within a three-mile radius.. He never again had a day’s sickness until he died.

It doesn’t matter how long an issue may have lingered, the important thing is to receive a definite Word from God concerning it.
God’s Word never return to Him void, the purpose must be accomplished [Isaiah 55:11]
In Luke 1, Elizabeth was barren for a long time and had counted herself out from ever becoming a mother. But when the prophetic Word came from Angel Gabriel, what God said prevailed over her age and she gave birth to a son.
Likewise, Sarah was barren for a long time but when the Lord visited her and gave her a specific Word, at the appointed time, her miracle baby came.
The Word in season is what changes people’s times and season. The Word from God is the answer to every question, the solution to every problem and the way out of every predicament.
However the spoken Word is only accessible by spirituality. If you are carnal, it will be difficult to hear specifically what God is saying.
In any area of our lives where we desire the miracle touch of Jesus, we must be willing to engage spiritually to see a change of story. As far as destiny is concerned, it is to everyone according to his faith.
With just one month left to the end of the year, it is more than enough time to still experience great open doors and see prophecies fulfilled. Because we serve the covenant-keeping God, He will surely fulfill His Word when we exercise the required level of faith. As we come to the end of the month of November today, it is a good time to renew intimacy with the Lord and wait upon Him to receive the Word in season for a definite turnaround.
Today, let us thank God for His amazing grace, goodness and faithfulness we have already seen since the year began. Let us also praise Him for the future and the greater things He is set to do in these remaining days of this year..

PRAYER: Lord, Please help me to pay the price of spending quality time in prayers and in Your Word so that my faith can be strengthened to see You at work in my situation. I Thank You Lord for mightily manifesting Your power in my life in this season in Jesus Name.

NOVEMBER 29; ACCESSING THE HEALING BALM.

.
Jeremiah 8:19-22 ‘Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered’

DAILY READING – Matthew 27:32-66; Deuteronomy 7-8; Job 7

In 2018, Hillsong worship leader Darlene Zschech published her book titled “The Golden Thread”.
In the book she shared the story of her miraculous healing.
In 2013, when Darlene Zschech was 48 years old, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Because her father had died from cancer when he was 50 years, it appeared she would suffer the same fate as her father.
But when Darlene caught the revelation that her case was different by reason of redemption, she waged a war against the disease. Through prayers, worship, digging deep into God’s Word, she secured her victory. When she was finally certified to be “cancer-free”, the doctor who gave the diagnosis was amazed and described her healing as miraculous .
Today, Darlene is totally free of cancer and continues to worship God through songs as she declares His goodness across the world.

Scientifically, there are negative genetic traits that repeat themselves and show up in every generation in a family, so that what parents suffered tend to also afflict their children.
However as children of God, our case is different.
Through redemption, we are separated from the negative trait or tendencies found in our family tree.
Spiritually we belong to the family of God and to the bloodline of Jesus. With His Blood in us, we cannot be afflicted by any form of disease.
Our covenant relationship with God, grants us access to the balm of Gilead that guarantees our divine recovery and deliverance.

Jeremiah 8:19-22 says ‘Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered’

From this above Scripture, we understand that what is needed for recovery of our health is the Physician and the balm. As covenant children of God, we have access to the Great Physician, Jesus; and His Word, which is the balm that heals and delivers us.
Therefore we are never helpless in the face of any battle. There’s always a way out for us because we are ithe redeemed of the Lord.. Today, if you are afflicted in any area begin to claim your deliverance by faith because that is your portion in Christ. Decide that you will not carry over any affliction into the coming New Year. As you wage spiritual warfare against that condition your victory will soon emerge.
Certainly, by the power in the Blood of Jesus, everything which your Heavenly Father has not planted in your life must be uprooted! Because you are born of God, you are born to overcome the world and its afflictions.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for the victory I have through the Blood of Jesus. Indeed my case is different and affliction can never arise a second time in my life in Jesus Name.

NOVEMBER 28; IT’S NOT OVER YET!

Jeremiah 32:27 ‘Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?’

DAILY READING; • Matthew 27:1-31; Deuteronomy 5-6; Job 6

On April 29 2014, Mandy Stacy gave birth to a baby boy who was immediately diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia. The only treatment was chemotherapy, but doctors warned it was going to be so toxic that it could kill the baby.
Mandy and her husband Chad, decided to forgo the chemotherapy and took the baby home, after having stayed two weeks in the hospital.
When they came home, Mandy, began praying and asking God for a solution. But, the leukemia only became more advanced until doctors said the baby was very close to dying. But, despite the hopelessness of the situation, Mandy, her husband and their Church members, continued to pray, believing God to do the impossible.
Mandy would hold her baby’s frail and dying body and sing worship songs, focusing her mind on Christ. As she persisted in faith, soon a miracle began to unfold.
The baby who had not been eating, suddenly began to accept food from his feeding bottle.
As the days passed, he began to become stronger. Over the next two weeks, the baby continued to miraculously improve!
When Mandy took him back to the hospital, the doctors were shocked. When they checked his blood counts, his platelets level which had been 39,000 at his lowest point was now 415,000 — in normal range.
When they did the bone marrow test, it showed no evidence of leukemia. The hospital was amazed at how the baby who had gotten close to death’s door, had inexplicably bounced back to life.
But his parents knew, a miracle had occurred in answer to their prayers and steadfast faith in God.
Today, the baby named Ethan Jacob Stacy is now a strapping nine year old boy, free of leukemia and full of sound health. His amazing story which continues to baffle doctors, has been featured in major Christian News outlets including the Christian Broadcasting Network[CBN] News.

Anytime it seems you have come to the end of your own strength, don’t give up because it is not over yet!
When your faith in God’s Word remains steadfast, anything is possible.
In Luke 8, Physicians could not heal the woman with the issue of blood and it seemed her case was closed. When she came to Jesus and touched the hem of His garment by faith, she was made perfectly whole.
In every challenge, the one thing God requires from us is to have faith in His word. When we exercise faith, His power is triggered for our miracle.
To have the victory, refuse to walk by sight and reject the devil’s report of your situation.
Rather than fear, hold on to God’s Word and keep speaking faith despite how negative things may outwardly seem. When we speak faith-filled words, they go into the spirit realm and begin to alter things in our favor. Understand that life is controlled from the spirit realm, therefore don’t quickly jump to conclusions and accept negative verdicts. rather, prepare to fight the good fight of faith by engaging the spiritual weapons of our warfare which are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds
Faith is a weapon that constantly overcomes the world.
When you sit down in the Word and keep your focus on God, faith will arise to strengthen your heart to overcome impossible battles.
The experts may have termed the case hopeless, but it is not too difficult for God. ( Jeremiah 32:27).
Today, while it may seem late in the year, it is not too late for your miracle! Just have faith.
It is never over until God says so. And when God is on your side, nothing can be a barrier to your miracle.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to always know that with You nothing is impossible. Help me never to limit You, but rather to always trust that You can turn around any situation for me in Jesus Name.

NOVEMBER 27; EXPECT PROPHETIC FULFILLMENTS!

Habakkuk 2:3 ‘For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

DAILY READING; Matthew 26, Numbers 30, Songs of Solomon 8

David Ben-Gurion was Israel’s first Prime Minister and is considered the architect behind the modern State of Israel. When he took office in 1948, the land area of Israel was mostly a desert with only about 20% of the land usable for farming. Moreover, the land suffered a shortage of natural water resources.
Despite this discouraging situation, David Ben-Gurion envisioned the fulfillment of Isaiah’s prophecy, which said that the desert land of Israel would once again blossom. The Jews as a whole became committed to this vision. After years of laboring in faith, today, Israel has emerged as a world leader in agriculture and water management technologies.
A striking example of how Israel overcame acute water shortages was by building a national water carrier to transport water from the Sea of Galilee in the North to the Negev desert in the South. This revolutionized Israel’s water distribution network and enabled them to farm the wilderness lands and cause the Negev Desert to bloom, in fulfillment of Isaiah 35:1 which says ‘ the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.”
Among other achievements, Israel records the highest cow-milk productivity in the world and the highest tomato yield globally. Israel is one of the highest producers and exporters of fruits, vegetables and flowers in the whole world today in fulfillment of Isaiah’s prophecy made over 2700 years ago. ‘In days to come Jacob will take root, Israel will bud and blossom and fill all the world with fruit.”[Isaiah 27:6]

The fulfillment of these
prophecies is yet another evidence of the infallibility of God’s Word. Certainly, what God says He will do, He will surely do.
This should be an encouragement to you, that the promises of God concerning you will surely find fulfillment in due time.
It is important that we wait for God’s Word to be fulfilled. God keeps covenant. If you know of a certainty He has made a promise to you then hold on to His Word in faith. Do not be discouraged by any difficult circumstance you may face. Rather keep speaking by faith and calling those things that be not as if they were.
God will fulfill His promise to you in due time. Just remain spiritually prepared through diligent study of the Word, prayers and fellowship with the Spirit. Those who enjoy multiplied blessings from God are those who go all the way with Him. The fulfillment of every vision will involve patience and tenacity in its pursuit; therefore refuse to grow weary before your due season.
1 Corinthians 15:58 says ‘Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
Concerning, this year, your labour and seeds sown into God’s Kingdom shall speak for you! Because every prophetic agenda speaks loudest in the end, get ready to see speedy fulfillment of divine prophecies in your life as the year rounds up.
Just as God’s promise came to pass at the appointed time over Israel, so shall it come to pass concerning you in this season in Jesus Name!.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for the great and amazing things You have lined up for me in this season. I know that what You have promised, You are indeed able to accomplish in my life in Jesus Name.

NOVEMBER 26: MORE THAN CONQUERORS.

Romans 8:37 “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. “

DAILY READING; Matthew 25, Numbers 29, Songs of Solomon 7

From birth, Charles Parham had battled various ailments that often brought him close to death. But miraculously God always delivered him. At nine years of age, he felt called to preach and began to prepare himself by studying God’s Word and praying.
However, at age sixteen, when he entered the university to study medicine, he became negatively influenced by the secular environment around him and began to backslide.
As he abandoned his call, he soon contracted rheumatic fever. After suffering for months, a physician visited his bedside and pronounced Parham near death. In that dying moment Parham remembered his calling to preach the Gospel.
Unable to pray coherently because he was sedated with morphine, he simply began reciting The Lord’s Prayer. When he came to words “…Thy will be done in earth as it is in Heaven,” his mind suddenly cleared. As he accepted God’s Will for his life, he was instantly healed.
He then decided to quit school to enter full time ministry. Parham held his first evangelistic meeting at the age of eighteen. As he faithfully followed God’s call, he began to experience extraordinary visitations of power in his ministry. The blind, lame, deaf and all manner of diseases were miraculously healed and multitude of souls were saved through his preaching.
He became a key figure in the spread of Pentecostalism in the 20th century. And he is celebrated today as the ‘father of the Pentecostal’ Movement.

A divine call from God must be taken seriously .
It is not fun fare, rather it is serious warfare. It is something you approach with soberness and a determination to succeed by all means.
Like, Charles Parham, there are some believers , who through exposure to negative influences or experience decide to give up on following God’s call. However no matter the cost, nothing should ever discourage us from pursuing God’s assignment for our lives.
When we are called by God, we must do everything to abide in our calling because that is our place of safety ,security and success.
It is a fact that anyone that has God’s call upon him, would often be targeted by the enemy. Many temptations and trials would be sent to derail or destabilize you from your vision and mission.
But in all these we are more than conquerors, because greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world
God’s call is always accompanied by His divine backing.
No matter how the enemy fights, if you can only keep walking in obedience to God’s Word, you will surely succeed at last.
In these last days every believer is called by God to a particular assignment..
It is time to focus and seriously pursue our call. We must begin to get ready to be used mightily by God in reaping the end times harvest of souls. Let us therefore prepare through studying the Word, fervent prayers fasting, praise and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. As we prepare adequately God will indeed anoint and equip us to fulfill His divine purpose in these last days.

PRAYER: Father I thank You for delivering me from everything hindering me from answering Your call upon my life. Through the Blood of Jesus I receive the power and grace to fulfill Your divine will for me in this season in Jesus Name.

NOVEMBER 25; LIVING IN VICTORY BY THE WORD.

Galatians 2:20 ‘I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.’

DAILY READING ; Matthew 24; Numbers 28; Songs of Solomon 6.

Darryl Strawberry was one of the most electrifying players in Major League Baseball history. He reached the peak of success, winning several awards and was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated seven times. However achieving greatness almost led him to self-destruction.
Darryl had started his sports career with the New York Mets. There, older players introduced the 21-year-old Darryl to cocaine.
From then on, while his career outwardly skyrocketed, he began dying on the inside as he became addicted to drugs.
Becoming rich and famous, he lived a lifestyle of womanizing, drinking and drug addiction. However he remained miserable and there was an emptiness inside of him.
In 1991, he attended a convention by evangelist Morris Cerullo where he gave his life to Christ. But though he got saved, he didn’t submit to spiritual discipline and soon went back to the familiar lifestyle of sin.
Despite more than $30 million in earnings, he came to financial ruin. His life became shaken by drug and alcohol abuse, adultery, imprisonment, and bouts with colon and kidney cancer.
When he had lost virtually everything, and almost lost his life, God made it clear that he needed to repent , live holy and center his life on Christ.
He therefore fully surrendered to Christ and began living to please God. His new commitment brought blessings, healing and positive transformations into his life
He later became a pastor and today spreads the Gospel around the world through his ministry.

In Genesis 17, God made a covenant of circumcision with Abraham. According to this covenant, only those whose flesh had been circumcised among Abraham’s generation, would be accounted as God’s people. Anyone who was not circumcised would be cut off from among God’s people.
In the New Testament, this covenant of circumcision is recognized as the putting off of our old sinful nature and living a new life in Christ.
Colossians 2:11 says “In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:”
As new creatures in Christ, we are expected to crucify the flesh and serve God in spirit and truth.
The flesh is an enemy of our spiritual growth, keeping us bound in sin, and alienates us from an intimate relationship with God.
Just as God told Abraham that anyone whose flesh was not circumcised was not part of His people, Romans 9:8 stresses that point “..They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God”
It is important to realize that after our salvation, we must accept spiritual responsibility to crucify our sinful flesh nature and live a life of faith in Christ (Galatians 2:20).
By living in the spirit, we will be counted among God’s people and access the blessings of redemption such as divine heath, protection, prosperity etc.
To overcome the battle against sin we must commit to a lifestyle of prayers and diligent study of God’s Word.
Psalms 119:11 says “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. “
One of the best things we can do as the year rounds up is to look inward and recognize our areas of struggle with sin and declare “thus far no more”.
It is time to get rid of the little foxes that spoil our Vine and give no more room to the devil in our lives because the cost of sin is too high. Through being cleansed by the Word, we will shine forth as lights in the midst of the crooked and perverse generation in the world.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for the grace to live a life that continually glorifies You. Please enable me to always fill my heart with Your Word so that every struggle with sin comes to an end in my life in Jesus Name.

DAILY READING; • Matthew 24:1-31; Numbers 25-27; Song of Solomon 6:4-8:4

In 1885, seven Cambridge students shocked the society when they volunteered to leave behind their comfortable lives of wealth and privilege to serve God in the mission fields of China.
At that time Cambridge University was a training ground for those who would one day run the great British Empire. It was home to wealthy, elite young men of class and stature.
Yet these seven Christian youths decided to give up everything to serve God. Their ages ranged from 19 to 24 and they were already young men of peculiar distinction: Among them was C.T. Studd, internationally acclaimed as the finest cricketer of his day.
Others were distinguished sons from notable families destined to inherit family fortunes and titles of nobility.. But they chose to leave their comforts to go to the land of China fraught with idolatry, violence, disease and all manner of hardships. When they arrived in China, the Seven not only reached thousands with the Gospel, they also fanned the flames of a revival in Britain as thousands followed their example to dedicate their lives to missionary service.. The story of these young men, known as the ‘Cambridge Seven’, has been immortalized in history even as their lives continue to inspire many people today.

While many young people have great dreams for their lives, very few have dreams for the advancement of God’s Kingdom on earth. Yet that is the one dream that guarantees, every good thing being added to our lives. ( Mathew 6:33)
Certainly, the journey of life becomes glorious when we give God first place.
When we enter into a covenant with God to seek first His Kingdom, life will take on new meaning as the lines begin to fall for us in pleasant places. Prosperity, divine health, protection, progress and the things others are pursuing will all begin to pursue us.
A covenant to serve God with all our heart, soul and body is the gateway to a world of amazing blessings and all-round fulfillment.
When the tribe of Judah entered a covenant to serve God with all their heart, they had no more wars and God gave them rest all around. (2 Chronicles 15:12-15).
Likewise, if you want peace from troubles and all round rest, the key is to turn over your concerns to God and focus on seeking first His Kingdom.
When you invest your life in living for God and seeking His glory, you will find true riches, joy and peace.
Romans 8:6 says ‘To be spiritually minded is life and peace but to be carnally minded is death.
Today, as we chose to partner with God towards the promotion of His Kingdom on earth, by sincerely serving Him wherever we are called, surely, He will open amazing doors that will exceed all our desires and expectations.

PRAYER: Father I thank You for establishing in me a deeper desire to always seek first Your Kingdom above all else. As I do I thank You for meeting my needs and opening massive doors of blessings in every area of my life in Jesus’ Name.

NOVEMBER 23; YOU ARE DIVINELY EXEMPTED

Psalm 91:1-2 “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him

‘DAILY READING – Matthew 23:13-39; Numbers 23:27-24:25; Song of Solomon 5:2-6:3

In November 2022, Chris Hall was popularly elected as the Commissioner to represent Collier County, Florida. His winning ticket during the crowded political race was his testimony as a Christian.
Ten years ago, on October 8, 2013, Chris Hall survived a devastating plane crash through faith in God. Chris who is a pilot had been on a test flight of a new plane, when the engine went dead.
When he realized he was going to crash, he said a prayer out loud to God. As the plane eventually hit the ground, Chris jumped up to push open the door to escape but suddenly everything went orange as the plane burst into flames.
A friend of Chris’s who was waiting for him on the tarmac, when he saw the explosion in the distance, began to run towards the crash site, all the while praying fervently that God would save Chris. And God did indeed save him. The airport rescue team who responded to the emergency, as they saw the black smoke coming up, didn’t believe anybody would have come out of the fire alive. It was a huge fireball, at least four to 500 feet in the air. But to their greatest amazement Christ walked out of the flaming inferno. Chris was quickly rushed to the nearest hospital, where he was stabilized and it was found he had no broken bones or internal injuries. However, after the doctors assessed him, their report was that he would spend many months in the hospital before full recovery. But Chris’s family kept praying and believing God and within two weeks he was out of the hospital. Today, Chris uses every opportunity to share his amazing testimony of God’s faithfulness.

Despite, the attacks of the enemy, we serve the God who is mighty to save and to deliver us through His awesome power. He is the same God who delivered Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego from the burning fire. He is the God who brought Daniel out of the lions’ den and divided the red sea for Israel to escape from Pharaoh’s pursuit.
Because you are a covenant child, no matter what you may go through, you are destined to come out victorious.
Just as the case of Goshen was different when there were afflictions in Egypt, we are under the covenant of divine exemption.
Divine protection is part of our redemptive package and privileges as children of God [Colossian 3:3].
It doesn’t matter how the enemy fights against you, God is committed to protecting you. As long as you walk in covenant with Him, God has promised that no evil shall befall you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. His Name is a strong tower that we run into and we are safe.
In these end times, it is vital for us to know how to abide in the covenant of divine protection. We must understand that in every covenant, we have a part to play and God has His part.
Psalm 91:1-2, begins with our part: “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”
So to enjoy God’s divine deliverance we must dwell in the secret place of the Most High, which is abiding in God’s Presence. We do so through a lifestyle of purity, praise, diligent study of God’s Word, fervent prayers and fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
When we fulfill our part then God will keep His part of the covenant which says “Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust’.

Especially, as we navigate through these last months of the year known as ‘ember months’ let us ensure we always abide in God’s Presence, so that we become exempted from every evil occurrence..

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for Your covenant of divine protection at work in my life. Please help me to always abide in Your Presence so that I will be exempted from evil in Jesus Name. .
