Nehemiah 8:10 ”Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength’ “.

DAILY READING; • Acts 8:1b-25; Deuteronomy 33-34; Job 20

In 2021, the New York Times and other major media houses reported the amazing story of a Christian teenager who spent 14 terrifying hours on the shark infested Atlantic Ocean without being harmed.
15-year-old Frankie Icenhour was on a summer vacation in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with his family when he decided to take a float in the water around 7pm. He was in his 4-foot rubber air raft, when a strong tide suddenly came and swept him out to the sea.
Frankie tried to row back to the beach, but couldn’t. He didn’t know how to swim, so the waves continued to carry him and his raft, farther and farther out to sea. At that time, most of the lifeguards and the other tourists had gone home, so no one could hear his cry or help him.
However, in this moment of danger, Scripture verses began to flood his mind. He recalled God’s promise to never leave nor forsake him and believed God would somehow rescue him. Rather than fear, he started praising God for his deliverance and sang songs like ‘Amazing Grace’.
As it got darker, a shark began to circle him and swam under the raft. Eventually the shark left, without attacking him.
Frank kept praising God for many hours, even as it got darker and he drifted further.
Meanwhile, Frank’s family had alerted the authorities. They continued to pray even as rescue planes scanned the sea looking for him. Miraculously, after 14 hours, he was finally located by a shipping boat. By that time, Frank had drifted about six miles away from where he had entered the water. After his rescue, Frank told the Media that he was saved against all odds through his faith in God.

Indeed praising God will always keep us afloat and stop us from drowning in the troubled waters of life.
In Acts 16, Paul and Silas found themselves in deep trouble. They had been beaten and thrown into prison and their situation looked bleak and hopeless.
But rather than despair, at midnight, they arose and praised God. In the midst of their praise, there was a mighty earthquake, that broke the prison doors and delivered from the dungeon.
Because God inhabits the praises of His people, through praise, we create room for Him to come in and change negative situations for us.
As this year begins to round up, you may have one reason or the other to be worried, but rather that despair, switch to praise. Never forget that God crowns the year with good things and in this last month, He has concluded a definite plan of divine completion for you. All you have been believing God for this year can still come to pass. It is never too late. Understand that God is greater than any situation that you may be confronted with, therefore, rather than fret or worry, maintain your praise.

Nehemiah 8:10 says ” ‘Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength’ “.

As long as you retain you joy, you will triumph in the end. If you refuse to be depressed, the enemy cannot oppress you. Therefore in this season, let your heart be strong in God’s Word and keep your faith. As you bless the Lord at all times, God shall surprise you with 11th hour miracles and cause you to finish this year, well and strong.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for last minute miracles and unexpected blessings that will gloriously crown this year for me. Please grant me the grace to keep praising You in every situation in Jesus Name.

DAILY READING• • Acts 7:23-8:1a; Deuteronomy 31-32; Job 19

The story of the famed Brooklyn Tabernacle choir is nothing short of a miracle because it was a dream that was almost terminated by initially discouraging beginnings.
In the 1970’s Jim Cymbala and his wife Carol, began pastoring the Brooklyn Tabernacle in a tough inner-city neighborhood in New York. They had so much discouragement until they felt defeated and ready to quit. But during that dark period, Jim Cymbala received a distinct call from God to begin a season of prayers.
As he obeyed this divine instruction, it marked the beginning of new things. His wife, Carol Cymbala felt led to start a choir to glorify God.
Though she could not read sheet music, had no formal music training, she started the choir with eight people and they became dedicated to giving God quality praise.
The choir grew through people saved from the streets which included former drug addicts, prostitutes, gangsters, etc. These people became united by gratitude for being rescued from the bowels of sin and destruction.
When the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir is in concert, these people who have been redeemed by the Lord sing their hearts out to Him. Often their faces glisten with tears running down their cheeks as they sing about God’s work of redemption and forgiveness in their lives.
The unique passion and zest of the choir has made them famous around the world. Today, the 300 member Brooklyn Tabernacle choir has recorded 40 albums, won seven Dove Awards and six Grammy Awards. They have featured in prestigious events including singing at the 2012 American Presidential inauguration in Washington, DC.

As the redeemed of the Lord, we all have reasons to be grateful. No one else knows like we do the depths from which God has rescued us.
We know the many times, we didn’t deserve God’s goodness or merit His mercy, yet He showed up to deliver us.
If it had not been for The Lord on our side, where would we be?
Therefore today, let nothing stop your praise, let nothing hinder your worship. God deserves all the praise and honour.
This year, God has given us victories in battles seen and unseen. He has delivered us from enemies known and unknown. By His grace we survived those sicknesses and evil attacks that almost took us out. Indeed our God is good.
Today, let us pour out our worship to the Lord just like the woman that broke her alabaster box at the feet of Jesus. She knew she didn’t deserve the Lord’s mercy. She should have been dead yet the Lord had shown up to save her. That also is our story.
Sometimes people may not understand our praise. They may not understand the depths of our worship. They may not understand why you cry when you lift your hands in worship, and even why you roll on the ground. But then, they were not there in the midnight hour when God delivered you and made a way, where there was no way.
From our greatest days to our deepest struggles, God has always been faithful.
Therefore today, from our innermost being let us offer to Him worthy worship because He has delivered us from our enemies and lifted us up above those that rise up against us. [Psalm 18:46-48].

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to learn to look beyond any current challenge and keep my eyes on Your many blessings in my life this year. Truly You have been good and I give You all the praise and glory now and forever in Jesus Name.

DAILY READING • Acts 7:1-22; Deuteronomy 29-30; Job 18

Jason David Sluyter, is a pastor and Gospel musician whose song titled “These Walls” has made great impact and had millions of downloads,.
However it is interesting to note that just few years ago, Pastor Jason was told by doctors that he may never speak, sing, eat or even walk again.
At that time doctors had discovered he had Stage 3 cancer. This began an excruciating medical battle with the cancer, which kept coming back more aggressively and spreading quicker. Thirty-five rounds of radiation later, Jason had lost 80 pounds over the course of the treatments, and was left unable to speak for six months and unable to taste food for nine months. When the ordeal of surgeries continued at a point it seemed too much for Jason to bear. He felt the only way out of all the pain was death. And so he began to search on the internet for easy ways to die. One day at a point of despair, when it seemed all hope was lost, his wife began to encourage him to praise God. As she sang praises, all of a sudden, it seemed God’s Presence entered the room and Jason began to receive new strength. And that began his turnaround. Gradually his health began to be restored until he was fully healed. And today Jason David is cancer-free and sings about the goodness of God through his music. His amazing turnaround and recovery is indeed a testament of the power of praise.

Anything and Everything is capable of changing when you engage the power of praise. There is a mystery about praise that breaks every prison and bondage around you.
It is not the greatness of a challenge that defeats a man but rather his attitude towards it. There is no situation so complicated as to defy divine intervention. Anytime you are going through a challenging situation, it is no time for you to complain or murmur, rather it is time to engage God’s Presence for a forceful turnaround.
In times of difficulties, those who complain, complicate their matter, but those who praise are raised up out of it. And an attitude of gratitude will always guarantee a rise in altitude.
Praise is the platform for effecting supernatural changes. Things are bound to change when we begin to praise. The atmosphere of praise is the supernatural atmosphere of the presence of God. And the atmosphere where God dwells is a liberating atmosphere.
Psalm 22:3 says that God inhabits the praises of His people.
Praise brings God’s presence into any situation and when, He steps into the scene, every devil will be compelled to bow out.
God reigns on earth and He is more than able to turn everything around for our good. However, it takes Praise to connect us to His supernatural intervention.
Having come to the last month of this year, there is so much we need to thank God for as we look back to previous months. Truly, God has been faithful. And as we give Him worthy Praise today for all He has done, He will yet do greater things for us in Jesus Name.

PRAYER: Lord, I truly appreciate Your amazing goodness upon my life and upon my family throughout this year. Thank You Lord for Your faithfulness and even now I know You are set to do mightier things for us in Jesus Name. .

The documentary ‘Right Footed’, chronicles the story of Jessica Cox, who was born without arms as the result of a birth defect. Despite her disability, Jessica’s parents who were Christians believed God had a plan for her. And with their support and encouragement, Jessica grew up learning to do everything with her feet the way normal people used their hands. She didn’t let being armless stop her rather she found a way to thrive using mental agility and physical flexibility.
She earned a college degree typing papers with all ten toes, and drives a car with one foot on the wheel. Inspired by a burning desire to prove her independence, Jessica took flying lessons and became the first person with her condition to earn a pilot’s license. Today, she works as a motivational speaker and travels all over the world sharing her story and promoting the idea that disability does not mean inability. Jessica believes her greatest triumph in life is her growing in faith and trusting in God’s plan and purpose for her life.
In 2015, she published an autobiographical self-help book titled ‘Disarm Your Limits.’

Truly, despite life’s setbacks or disappointments, God has a plan to turn every mourning into dancing for you.
As we trust Him, He works behind the scenes to eventually orchestrate the lines to fall for us in pleasant places. This is why we must continue to bless Him at all times. In all situations we must continue to praise God and judge Him faithful.
In the scriptures, Job went through many trials and tribulations, but in the midst of his pain Job proclaimed, “I know my redeemer lives”. And in the end God brought full restoration to Job and he went on to live a blessed, happy life.
We must always trust that God has our best interest at heart. His thoughts towards us are thoughts of peace, never of evil to give us an expected end.
Therefore in every circumstance, we must refuse to stagger in faith but rather keep giving glory to God.
When life’s conditions appear difficult, that is when to go into worship and offer a sacrifice of praise.
Every time you praise despite the pain, you’re making preparation for the rain. In the scripture rain represents blessing, favor, increase.
If today it seems you are in a dry season and things appear not to be working, now is the time to praise God.
Trials are not intended to weaken our relationship with God, but rather to strengthen it. In times of difficulties, our foremost concern should be to draw closer to God because He never fails.
If you will offer the sacrifice of praise, the circumstances will suddenly change in your favor. As long as you stand in faith and maintain your praise, it is only a matter of time before all things eventually work together for your good.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You for enabling me to always stand in faith and keep giving You all the glory. No matter what comes my way, I thank you for the grace to always rise stronger and better in Jesus Name. .

Exodus 15:11 “Who is like unto Thee, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like Thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

DAILY READING; Acts 5:17-42; Deuteronomy 25-27; Job 16

Mt Zion Baptist Church is a 50-year-old church located in McCracken County, Kentucky, USA.
On March 14th 2019, a miracle took place as children inside the Church building were delivered from a raging tornado. On that day, a devastating EF-2 tornado had hit the city. The Mount Zion Baptist Church building which stood in the path of the tornado was hit by the destructive force of the winds.
At that time, a preschool class was in full session in the Church with 40 kids and 10 adults. As the glass windows started breaking and they felt the suction sucking the roof off, the staff members quickly grabbed the children out of the nursery just a few minutes before the tornado hit.
They rushed the children into a room in the building. As the tornado raged, the children began praising God. They sang songs like “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hand, and ‘This Little Light of Mine’ and ‘Jesus Loves Me,'”
They sang those songs while sheltering in place a few feet from where the tornado destroyed most of what was around them.
And miraculously, God preserved them. The room where they took shelter was the only room in the building unaffected by the tornado. The roof was ripped apart and every room in the building was left in rubbles except the room where the children were.
During a news conference after the tornado, the County Sheriff credited the almighty hand of God for providing miraculous safety from the Tornado.

God knows how to preserve His own and make a way of escape out of every storm. Therefore any time you feel surrounded or overwhelmed, instead of panicking, switch to praise.
Exodus 15:11 tells us that God is fearful in praises, doing wonders. He indeed has the whole world in His hand.
Whenever you switch to praise, you bring God’s hand to bear upon any situation of concern. Your praise compels Him to take over your battles, to fight on your behalf, and give you the victory.
Any time you need God’s urgent attention, switch to praise. If you are facing complex battles that appear mightier than your strength, and tougher than your wisdom, then invite God in through high praises.
If you are faced with a crisis situation, always quickly switch to praise. As you stay in praise, God’s Presence comes to create a spiritual force field of protection around you. Praise always gets God’s immediate attention because praise is God’s exclusive habitation [Psalm 22:3].
In Psalm 114, we saw how through praise, Israel made God their sanctuary and He cleared every obstacle on their path and led them to the promised land.
To see His wonders of 11th hour miracles in this last month of the year, let us engage in high praises.
Certainly, in this crowning month, the mysterious operation of the power of praise will guarantee us speedy fulfillment of prophesies and access to every hanging blessing.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to constantly bless You at all times because You can handle anything that comes my way. As I praise You, I know that I shall be ushered into realms of unlimited signs and wonders in Jesus Name.

1Thessalonians 5:18: ‘In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.’

Sir Terence Hardy Waite is an English humanitarian and author.
In 1980, he began working with the Archbishop of Canterbury and became involved in hostage negotiation on behalf of the Church of England.
On 12 January 1987, he arrived in Lebanon with the intention of negotiating with the Islamic Jihad Organization to release some hostages in their captivity. Before coming to Beirut, he was promised safe conduct by the captors of the hostages. But when he arrived they broke their promise and he was taken captive by the terrorists who accused him of being a CIA agent.
He was held in captivity for more than four years, During his incarceration, he was blindfolded, beaten, and subjected to mock executions. He lived much of the time chained to a wall in a room without natural light.
Through long, lonely days and nights, he was unsure that his life would be spared. Nevertheless, every morning he offered a prayer of thanksgiving to God for His manifold mercies so abundantly bestowed upon him. Despite the situation, he chose to give God thanks in all things. And miraculously, God preserved his life and he was finally released in 1991. Reflecting on his time in captivity, Sir Terence Hardy Waite told the media that his faith in God gave him the strength to persevere during this terrible ordeal. Today, he is 84 years old and continues actively to serve as the co-founder and president of Hostage International, which supports the families of hostages. He has found that maintaining the joy of the Lord and a positive attitude about life is key to longevity, strength and agility.

Joy is the mystery behind rising above obstacles because the joy of the Lord is our strength. Joy is not necessarily the absence of difficulties, rather it is the assurance of God’s Presence even in the midst of adversity.
We have to learn to be thankful to God in every situation. The truth is that tests and trials come to everyone. But despite the circumstances of life, we are to rejoice in God.
Our attitude of gratitude will enhance our altitude. Indeed, if we are thoughtful, we will be thankful. No matter what you may be confronted with today, for the fact that you are still breathing, you owe God thanks. Someone may be worried about the things not yet accomplished as this year comes to an end. Perhaps you are worried about your finances, getting married, having children, education, business, career, etc, but then, it is only because you are alive and have sound mental health that you can even think about those things. Therefore instead of worrying or complaining, we should be thankful to God who has preserved us all year long and given us abundant life.
Ecclesiastes 9:4 says, ‘For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.’
Indeed, as long as you are in the game of life there is hope for you, and this is why we should remain praise-full. Psalm 150:6 says, ‘Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD.’
We are commanded to give God praise as long as we have breath, because even the life that we have belongs to Him. Giving thanks to God is the way to our miracles. Thanksgiving will bring a man out of the grave of poverty, barrenness, stagnation, sickness, lack and want. Lazarus came out of his grave after Jesus gave thanks to God. [In John 11:41-44,].
Certainly, in this last month, as we give God high praises, it will be our season to rise to our high places.

PRAYER: Lord, I am indeed grateful and thankful for all the amazing things You have done in my life this year and in previous years. Thank You, precious Lord, for Your continual faithfulness to me at all times, in Jesus’ Name.

DECEMBER 6; WINNING THE BATTLES OF LIFE

Psalm 46:1-2 ‘God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.’

DAILY READING –• Acts 4:23-37; Deuteronomy 21-22; Job 14

Out of 3,400 years of recorded history, humans have only been at peace for 268 years of them. In other words, the world has only been at peace for 8 percent of the world’s recorded history.
In modern times, warfare has been made worse by the discovery of gunpowder and the acceleration of technological advances. This led to the loss of over 70 million lives during the two major world wars fought in the 20th century.
In this year, 2023, there are currently 32 countries in various forms of conflict around the world. Besides the recent Israel-Hamas war, there is still ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Other nations at war include Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Iraq, Yemen, Syria, Somalia, Libya, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Myanmar, Colombia, and Mali are currently in civil wars. Mexico is at war with the drug cartels in the country.
These conflicts all have significant impacts on the affected populations and have resulted in a high number of casualties as well as humanitarian crises.

The rampant wars on the earth are actually a physical reflection of what is going on spiritually.
Every day, battles are also being fought in the realm of the spirit. Spiritually, there are darts flying up and down in every direction.
While the physical battles have known warfronts and boundaries, the spiritual battle has no specific location, it is being fought everywhere on all fronts, and everyone is involved.
But in these battles God has promised protection to His children.
Psalm 46:1-2 says, ‘God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.’

The Blood of Jesus is our greatest weapon of offence and defense in the ongoing spiritual warfare.
In the book of Exodus, the Blood effectively protected the Israelites from the plagues of Egypt. Through the blood applied to the doorposts, while the plague raged in Egypt, God kept His people safe under the covering of the blood. .
In the same way, today, the Blood of Jesus continues to protect us from every attack of the enemy. As we daily plead the Blood, no evil shall befall us and no plague can come near our dwelling place.
The sinless, spotless, all-powerful Blood of the Son of the living God is not an ordinary blood.
It has wonder-working power that causes demons to tremble and triumphs over principalities and powers.
The Blood of Jesus ever remains powerful to shield us from the arrows of the wicked, from sickness, from harm and from every evil on the earth.
As we approach the end of this year and prepare to step into the New Year, let us keep pleading the Blood over our family and loved ones.
Most importantly let us keep praising God for being our refuge and shield. Praise brings God’s Presence which guarantees us divine security and immunity no matter what goes on in the world.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You that by the Blood of Jesus I am protected from every arrow of the wicked. Thank You Lord for the constant shield of the Blood around me and my family now and always in Jesus Name.

DECEMBER 5 : ENGAGING THE SICKLE OF PRAISE!

Habakkuk 3:17-19 ‘Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

DAILY READING • Acts 4:1-22; Deuteronomy 19-20; Job 13

The Chinese Bamboo tree holds the Guinness World Record for fastest growing plant! In fact, the World Book Encyclopedia records that one bamboo plant can grow three feet in a twenty-four hour period.
Additionally, the Chinese Bamboo tree is one of the hardest materials in the world despite how simple it looks. It is estimated to have strength greater than that of steel and can endure better than the normal concrete. The chinese bamboo plant is very versatile and has a lot of uses. In addition to many other properties, it acts as an antibacterial, can be a deodorant and can be eaten by humans and animals. The chinese Bamboo tree plays a very important role in China and many other Asian countries.
Perhaps, the most interesting fact about the Chinese bamboo tree is how it grows. When planted, it stays about 4 years in the ground without any sign of growth. In the first year there is no sign that anything is planted there. In the second year, still no sign of growth above the soil. In the third and fourth year, still nothing happening. And then finally in the fifth year, behold, a miracle! The tree suddenly breaks out to the surface and within just six weeks it amazingly grows up to 80 feet, which is about the height of a 5 story building.

The Chinese bamboo tree teaches us that, apart from the natural way trees grow, there are special trees with extraordinary growth.
This kind of uncommon growth is similar to what happens spiritually when we give God praise. Beyond the normal rate of harvest, praise brings supernatural harvest.

Psalms 67: 5 – 6 says ‘Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.’

When we praise God, power is released that enforces the earth to yield whatever is due to us. When you praise God despite your situation, God causes you to ride upon your high places. [Habakkuk 3:17-19)
Praise is a multiplier. When Jesus thanked God for the 5 loaves and 2 fishes, they miraculously multiplied.
Likewise as you praise God in this season, the power in praise will cause you to grow and multiply extraordinarily.
In this last month, you need the sickle of praise to bring in all your pending harvest and hanging blessings. Proverbs 14:23 lets us know that all labor in God’s kingdom entitles us to returns. But the enemy can attack a believer’s harvest through causing depression, because he knows that the harvest of the field perishes when joy is withered from the sons of men.
Today, refuse to allow the enemy depress you through pointing out failures, unachieved goals or losses of this year. Rather begin to count your blessings and thank God for all He has done, especially for keeping you alive in the land of the living.
As you praise God, get ready for supernatural growth. Like the bamboo tree overnight you are going to erupt to unexpected heights as God opens sudden doors of opportunity and amazes you with His surpassing goodness.

DAILY READING –Acts 3; Deuteronomy 17-18; Job 12

Bush fires have been a part of the Australian landscape since well before human habitation.
After thousands of years of suffering bushfires, many
Australian plants have developed strategies to help
them live with fire. Some plants now use the fire to help them germinate their seeds.
For instance there are around 700 species of Eucalyptus trees (gum trees) in Australia.
They have seeds whose release is only triggered
by fire. When a fire burns through an area containing these trees, the pods release their seeds into the nutrient-rich ash left on the ground after the fire. Because there are fewer animals in the area following a fire and because all the smaller plants have been burnt and removed, the eucalyptus seeds have time to germinate without competition.
Another Australian plant that has adapted to the heat of fire and used it to germinate is called Banksias. These specie of plants can keep their seed for years in a woody fruit called a follicle. But during a fire, the parent plant may be killed but the fruit will open up causing the seeds to fall to the ground. And because the bushfire has destroyed many other plants, the new seeds can now thrive on the ground without competitors; fertilized with ashes from the fire.
So, the bushfires that destroys other plants, have become vital for the renewal and survival of these plant species. Instead of hindering them, the fire only serves to bring forth life and beauty from them. This is the reason why after a bush fire in Australia, the blackened bush lands amazingly soon transforms into a riot of colorful vegetation, with new shoots popping up everywhere.

It is interesting that what kills others is what gives life to these species of Australian plants who have learned to survive the fire.
Likewise as a child of God you are born to be a survivor.
Where others perish, is where you are meant to flourish.
In the book of Daniel, the three Hebrew boys not only survived the fire, it ended up promoting them to higher offices in the land.
God is able to use what was meant to stop us to propel us forward. He can turn our stumbling blocks into stepping stones to greater levels of glory and beauty.
This is why we count it all joy when we pass through fiery trials [James 1:2-4]
Maintaining our joy is important if we are going to fight and win the good fight of faith. Though you may not control what happens on the outside, you can control what happens on the inside of you.
Remain joyful despite what may go on around you. Let what should deflate you instead become what will inflate you. What the enemy sent to steal your joy, let it be the reason for your praise.
Whatever fiery circumstance you may have passed though this year, as you give worthy praise to God, expect a divine reversal of every negative situation. This month of December will be your season to be decked with glorious new colors.
Wherever you may have suffered any form of fire or mourned for any reason, God will give you beauty in the place of ashes. He will give you the oil of joy for mourning and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness [Isaiah 61:3].

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to be filled constantly with joy.
I thank You Lord for granting me the strength to keep praising You in every circumstance. This month of December is indeed my season to see beauty for ashes in Jesus Name. .

DAILY READING; Acts 2:14-47; Deuteronomy 15-16; Job 11

In September 1620 a group of 102 Pilgrims, set sail to a new area of lands discovered by Columbus in 1492 called the New World. Here they hoped to start a new city and serve God freely without interference. and the religious persecutions they had faced while in England.
After two months of braving the harsh elements of a vast storm-tossed sea, they arrived in Massachusetts. After a prayer service, the Pilgrims began building hasty shelters. However, they were unprepared for the harsh winter and a number of them died from the devastating weather.
Although the hearts of those who survived were heavy from these losses, they remained grateful and thankful to God. And as a show of their appreciation of God’s faithfulness, they set aside a certain day as first thanksgiving day, to show gratitude to God. They called together their Indian neighbors, and spent 3 days in celebration of praise to God. And year after year it became a tradition to set apart a particular day of thanking God for His faithfulness. And God indeed showed these pilgrims many miracles to prove He was with them. Though they had lost members of their community, but chose to maintain their praise, God multiplied the remnant. These survivors were the first settlers and founding fathers of the great nation of America.
This pilgrim’s thanksgiving day, has become entrenched in the American tradition. Yearly, in America, the last Thursday in November is set aside as thanksgiving day. And in 1941, the American Congress permanently established the fourth Thursday of each November as a national holiday.

If you have lost anything this year, God is the reason why you did not lose everything. When you choose to thank Him for what is remaining, you will experience divine multiplication. Thanksgiving is a multiplier. It also brings perfection and wholeness.
When the one leper came back to thank Jesus, his healing was perfected.
In everything we are to give thanks.
Ephesians 5:20 says “Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”.
When one door closes, we don’t keep crying over the closed door. Rather we praise God and trust Him to open more doors.. As you choose to praise God in the valley of defeat, He will raise you up to the mountaintop of victory. He will turn your mourning into dancing.
Praise is what it takes to bring God into your situation because He inhabits the praises of His people.
So today, make the choice to praise God despite any setback or disappointment you may have faced this year. As you do so, God will decorate you with new colors in this last month of December.
Like the American pilgrims do not look at what you may have lost, rather bless God for what remains. And when you do, He will multiply that remnant beyond your wildest expectations. In this season, He will grant you divine acceleration to pursue, overtake and recover all.
In all things let us keep giving God worthy thanks because He is too faithful to ever fail!.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to praise You, despite any contrary situation, let nothing ever stop the continual flow of your praise from my mouth. You are forever faithful and I know that indeed all things are working out together for my good this year in Jesus Name.
