In 1885, seven Cambridge students shocked the society when they volunteered to leave behind their comfortable lives of wealth and privilege to serve God in the mission fields of China.
At that time Cambridge University was a training ground for those who would one day run the great British Empire. It was home to wealthy, elite young men of class and stature.
Yet these seven Christian youths decided to give up everything to serve God. Their ages ranged from 19 to 24 and they were already young men of peculiar distinction: Among them was C.T. Studd, internationally acclaimed as the finest cricketer of his day.
Others were distinguished sons from notable families destined to inherit family fortunes and titles of nobility.. But they chose to leave their comforts to go to the land of China fraught with idolatry, violence, disease and all manner of hardships. When they arrived in China, the Seven not only reached thousands with the Gospel, they also fanned the flames of a revival in Britain as thousands followed their example to dedicate their lives to missionary service.. The story of these young men, known as the ‘Cambridge Seven’, has been immortalized in history even as their lives continue to inspire many people today.

While many young people have great dreams for their lives, very few have dreams for the advancement of God’s Kingdom on earth. Yet that is the one dream that guarantees, every good thing being added to our lives. ( Mathew 6:33)
Certainly, the journey of life becomes glorious when we give God first place.
When we enter into a covenant with God to seek first His Kingdom, life will take on new meaning as the lines begin to fall for us in pleasant places. Prosperity, divine health, protection, progress and the things others are pursuing will all begin to pursue us.
A covenant to serve God with all our heart, soul and body is the gateway to a world of amazing blessings and all-round fulfillment.
When the tribe of Judah entered a covenant to serve God with all their heart, they had no more wars and God gave them rest all around. (2 Chronicles 15:12-15).
Likewise, if you want peace from troubles and all round rest, the key is to turn over your concerns to God and focus on seeking first His Kingdom.
When you invest your life in living for God and seeking His glory, you will find true riches, joy and peace.
Romans 8:6 says ‘To be spiritually minded is life and peace but to be carnally minded is death.
Today, as we chose to partner with God towards the promotion of His Kingdom on earth, by sincerely serving Him wherever we are called, surely, He will open amazing doors that will exceed all our desires and expectations.

PRAYER: Father I thank You for establishing in me a deeper desire to always seek first Your Kingdom above all else. As I do I thank You for meeting my needs and opening massive doors of blessings in every area of my life in Jesus’ Name.
