America’s first billionaire was John Davison Rockefeller, Sr. He had a fortune worth nearly 2% of the national economy. He became a millionaire at the age of 23, and by the age of 50 he became a billionaire. However by the age of 53 he became afflicted with a strange illness that made his personal physicians to predict he would die within a year.
During this gruesome ordeal, one night Rockefeller had a dream that showed him he would not leave the earth with his wealth. By the time he woke up, that very day, he called his team of attorneys, accountants, and managers to establish a foundation through which his money would bless mankind. His foundation became the pioneer of the development of medical research. It was instrumental in the eradication of hookworm and yellow fever and led to an enormous amount of medical discoveries. Rockefeller supported many Church-based institutions and gave generously towards the advancement of education. He eventually gave away more than $555 million during his lifetime. Amazingly as John D. Rockefeller began to give generously, his body‘s chemistry was significantly altered and healing began to take place until he fully recovered his health. Instead of dying at 53, he lived till the age of 98.

Just as Rockefeller saw in his dream, no one leaves the earth with material possessions. Rather than lay up treasures on earth we are to be faithful channels of the flow of God’s blessings to mankind.
When a river is flowing out, it is clean and fresh. But if that river becomes stagnant, stops flowing out and begins to accumulate its water, it begins to stink and becomes a problem to the environment.
In the same way, wealth that is only accumulated and does not flow out becomes a problem.
In Genesis 12:2 God told Abraham that He would bless him and through him the world would be blessed. As covenant children of Abraham we are blessed essentially to be a blessing to others.
Each time we give, we create room for the flow of more blessings into our lives.
Your seed is the custodian of your future. You can determine what your future will look like by the seeds you sow today.
As blessings continually flow from us to others, our lives will surely overflow with abundance of health, wealth, favor, increase, promotions and breaking forth on every side.

PRAYER: Lord, please enable me to become a channel of blessing to Your Kingdom and to mankind. As I do, I thank You for causing me to experience supernatural increase and breaking forth to glorious heights in Jesus Name.

In 1951, Demos Shakarian believed that God was calling him to begin something new–a fellowship of men in business. When he organized the first meeting, a sizeable number of men turned up. But rather than grow, attendance at the fellowship rapidly diminished. For fourteen months Demos did all he could to grow the meetings, but all his efforts ended in failure..On Friday, December 26th 1952, Demos decided to finally close down the Fellowship. The night before the closure, he had a divine visitation and God told him that he was failing because he was not pursuing His divine purpose for the fellowship.
Right there, Demos repented and wholly submitted to God’s leadership and guidance. Immediately things began turning around. The very next morning, he received a huge donation for the fellowship. Demos was in shock because all his former efforts had not produced a single donation. Then a man made his printing press available for the work which led to the beginning of the VOICE magazine. From then on, Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship (FGBMF) began growing rapidly and spreading all over the world. And today it is a global force for the Gospel which is transforming many lives for Christ.

Oftentimes the reason for frustrations and stagnation in our calling is the attempt to execute a divine strategy with human energy.
In our ministry, business, career etc, things will only work smoothly when God’s plan is followed.
While there may be many thoughts in a man’s heart, only the counsel of the Lord shall stand. Only the Lord’s doing will be marvelous in our eyes and only that which He does abides forever.
To experience breakthroughs and overflow in our pursuits, we need to step back and let God take the lead. He is faithful to accomplish what He has said He would do.
1 Thessalonians 5:24 says ‘Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.’
Our careful planning, well-structured, meticulous organizing and financial investments mean nothing if God is not engaged in our pursuits.
It is His help and guidance that terminates frustration on our journey. In this season, as we follow divine guidance surely we’ll experience unending growth, turnaround testimonies and overflow of blessings in all our endeavors.

PRAYER: Father, please grant me the grace to always seek Your will in my endeavors. I praise You for all Your doings in my life for I know that You are positively turning things around for my good in Jesus’ Name.

In November 1997, Pastor Dave Hess went to the hospital to see his doctor for what he thought were flu symptoms. But test result shockingly revealed he had an aggressive, life-threatening strain of leukemia.
As his life hung in the balance, Pastor Dave was given a prophetic word from Psalm 3:3 by a Church member who told him God said He would be a ‘shield around him’.
This word came to pass when days later, Pastor Dave’s appendix unexpectedly burst. Doctors couldn’t perform surgery because his blood was refusing to clot therefore nothing could stop the toxins of the ruptured appendix from damaging his vital organs. Doctors said he would die within a week. But Pastor Dave continually declared Psalm 3:3 and claimed that the Lord would shield him from death. Miraculously, he survived till the next six weeks, when his blood was able to clot and he was fit to undergo surgery. During the surgery, the doctors discovered something amazing: the burst appendix had been covered by very strong scar tissues, which acted like shields that prevented the toxins from flowing out to cause any harm to Pastor Dave’s body. The medical team had never seen anything like it, but Pastor Dave knew the Lord had indeed been a shield around him. A few months later, he was completely healed from the leukemia. His story is contained in his book titled, Hope Beyond Reason.

When we stand in faith and declare God’s Word, we will be shielded from every attack of the enemy.
God’s Word never fails. There can be no hopeless or irreversible case when our faith in God remains alive. The outcome of every challenge we face is determined by our level of faith. Therefore, it is wisdom to invest in keeping our faith strong through diligent study of the Word because faith comes by hearing God’s Word.
Colossians 3:16 says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.” This means you soak up the Word just as a dry sponge soaks up water until you are saturated with faith.
Jesus is the Word, and His life contained in His Blood makes us overcomers in life. Through His Blood, we are delivered from every curse of the law to live the abundant life.
Just as the rod of Moses swallowed up the rod of the magicians [Exodus 7:12,] so does the Blood swallow up death, sickness, infirmities etc.
Certainly, by the Blood, we are shielded from every form of evil and destined to enjoy overflowing blessings in our health, business, career, family, and every other area of our lives.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for always being my shield and protector in life’s battles. Surely through the Blood of Jesus, no evil shall befall me and no plague can come near my dwelling place in Jesus Name.

OCTOBER 15; REFUSE TO BE WEARY!

In 1812 Adoniram Judson, sailed with his wife to India, to preach the Gospel. When they arrived, they were prevented from preaching to the Hindus and driven out from the region. Refusing to quit, they then sailed to the French island of Madras. Again they were deported from the region.
Adoniram Judson was a man of purpose and perseverance who refused to cave in to the monumental challenges he faced in his ministry.
Undefeated, Adoniram Judson headed to Burma, where he would become America’s first missionary there and finally be able to embark on missionary work.
But in Burma, he and his wife suffered hardship after hardship. Among Burma’s population of millions, they found not one Christian. Rather they were surrounded by the various fetish practices of the people who were mainly idol worshippers.
For five years they laboured preaching the Gospel, but had not a single convert. After 6 years, Judson finally had his first convert who was baptized on June 27, 1819.
This marked the beginning of other conversions, as souls were won in increasing numbers.
By the end of thirty eight years of their missionary work, there were hundreds of thousands of Christians in Burma.
Today, many Christians in Burma and Thailand trace their spiritual roots to the work of Adoniram Judson who firmly stood in faith and believed in the promises of God.

Every man fails at some point, but not all accept defeat. Those who refuse to quit, eventually win.
The right angle to approach to life is the “try angle.” Keep trying until something good happens. Never fold your hands if you don’t want life to fold up on you. No matter how difficult the road, keep your faith strong in God and keep pressing forward to your high calling in Christ.
Some of the times we feel tempted to give up, could be times we are closest to our victory.
One strategy the enemy often uses against believers is to try to wear them down with delayed manifestations of desired results. However, in Galatians 6:9, God said “Don’t be weary in well doing”. Though some battles may seem long and tough, but as we persevere in faith, surely in due season we shall reap our reward.
Persistence means not giving up, not quitting, not giving in and not becoming discouraged no matter how contrary things may seem. Numbers 23:19 says ‘God is not a man, that he should lie’
Though we may sometimes encounter giants on the road to our Canaan, God is committed to causing us to triumph always through Christ. (2 Corinthians 2:14)..
Faith is the victory that overcomes the world. As long as you keep faith alive, through diligent meditation in God’s Word, you will always emerge victorious and experience overflowing blessings in amazing dimensions.

PRAYER: Lord, I know indeed that You are able to handle any challenge I may face today. I thank You for the grace to persevere until I see the great manifestations of Your promises in my life in Jesus Name.

For more than 6 decades, Pastor John Hagee has served as a preacher of the Gospel and seen God’s faithfulness in the growth of his ministry.
In the 1980s, he felt led to erect a bigger sanctuary, the Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas. Though there were great challenges, he stepped out in obedience and embarked on the project.
The site for the building was very far from town, and many people emphatically told him that no one would ever attend a church so far out in the country. It was a great risk for Pastor Hagee because he could have lost his congregation, as many would have switched to attending nearby churches.
But he believed he was doing what God wanted him to do and so pressed on.
On the morning of the dedication in 1987, Pastor Hagee had to trust God for attendance; he didn’t know if many people would come. But that morning, an amazing thing happened. Not only old members, but many new people drove all the way from the town to the outskirts to attend the service. That day the sanctuary was filled to overflowing with over 6,000 people.
The population continued to grow until today; Cornerstone Church now has more than 22,000 members.

Stepping out in faith means trusting God with all our concerns. Though it may mean leaving our comfort zone and facing our deepest fears, in the end, God always rewards us for our obedience.
Though we may be tempted to fret or worry about the future, we must abide by the statement of confidence in 2 Timothy 1:12 which says “For I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.”
God is able to do what He has promised to do. Therefore in obeying His will, we must be strong, courageous, and not be afraid or dismayed, because the Lord will be with us [Joshua 1:9].
There is so much God wants to do with our lives this year.
It doesn’t matter what the story has been like in the past months; there are greater things ahead for you. There are territories yet to be conquered and exploits still to be accomplished. Therefore, we must not rest on our oars in pursuit of our goals. As we sincerely keep seeking God, walking in faith and obedience, we will soon break forth to a realm of overflow that will be exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ask, think, or imagine.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to stay focused on Your Word so that I can have the faith to step out boldly and accomplish great things and experience Your overflowing blessings in every area of my life in Jesus Name. .

Glenn Cunningham is one of History’s greatest athletes. However, his story is an amazing testament of God’s faithfulness.
When he was eight years old, he had a fire accident that almost killed him and left him with severe burns on his legs. His case was so terrible that doctors believed he would be a hopeless cripple destined to spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair. But Glenn refused to believe the doctors. Being brought up in a Christian family, he believed that God could help him to walk again. Glenn vowed, “Next week, I’m going to get out of bed. I’m going to walk.” And he did just that.
Glenn, at first scooted a chair around the kitchen. Then he began to venture outside to hobble along a fence. He would take hold of an old plow in the yard. With a hand on each handle, he began to make his gnarled and twisted legs function. And with every step of pain, he came closer to walking. Soon he began to trot; before long he was running. When he started to run, he became even more determined and decided he was going to run faster than anybody had ever run.
Glenn kept on running until he became a world champion.
On June 16, 1934, Glenn Cunningham set the World Record for the Outdoor Mile. Four years later, he set the World Record for the Indoor Mile.

When you get in agreement with God’s Word and believe Him for your miracle, your faith can supersede any natural law. What you believe will be greater than what the expert medical report or bank account says.
Ultimately the difference between winners and losers, is the way they view setbacks and adversities. Losers see setback as the end of the road, but winners see it as a bend in the road.
No matter your situation don’t conclude prematurely, because God is not yet through with you. Indeed God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all you can ever ask or think. The truth is that whatever may seem crippled in your life right now can still get up and run. Whatever they said can never be done can still be done in your life, with God all things are possible. Don’t look at the negative things around you. Look unto Jesus. He is able. What may seem impossible to men is totally possible with God. This is why we keep thanking Him in every situation.(1 Thessalonians 5:18).
In every situation we keep praising God, because praise precedes the victory. Today, if you are going through any tough situation, go into clamorous praise. It is no time for you to complain or murmur, rather it is time for you to praise because praise brings God’s Presence. And when God steps into your situation, every devil must bow out.
So today, turn up the volume of your praise and watch God turn every breakdown into your breakthrough and bring you into overflowing blessings!

PRAYER: Lord, You are always good and faithful, no matter what happens around me. Please grant me the grace to always give You worthy praise for I know You are working all things for my good in Jesus Name. .

In 1970 David Green borrowed $600 to buy a molding chopper, set up shop in his garage at home, and started making miniature wooden picture frames. This small business he started has grown today, to employ more than 32,000 people and be listed as the largest privately owned arts and crafts retailer in the world.
David Green was the son of a small town preacher. Early in life, he learnt from his parents the secret of serving in God’s kingdom. One of his first jobs was working as a store boy in McClellan’s general store, where he earned just 60 cents an hour. Yet from this meager income he began sowing towards the spread of the Gospel.
As a result, God began to bless him. From that small beginning, in 1970 he started the art company known as lHobby Lobby..It has grown today to become a global business chain grossing billions of dollars annually.
According to Forbes magazine, David Green is the largest evangelical benefactor in the world, who gives hundreds of millions of dollars to Christian causes.

Truly the giving grace enlarges the covenant coast of a man. To enjoy overflow and open Heavens we must commit to living for God and giving to His kingdom. When we do that which pleases God, it compels Him to pour out His overflowing blessings upon us.
When Jacob brought to Isaac, his father, the venison that pleased him, Isaac blessed him from the depths of his heart saying;
‘Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine: Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee:..’ [Genesis 27:28]
When we offer to God that which is pleasing, it attracts His favor upon our lives.
Serving God is the master key to a life of sweat-less triumph. Surely when we work to bring glory to God and advance His kingdom, God will likewise put His glory on us and advance our lives. We can’t be truly sold out to God and not stand out on earth. What we sow is what we reap.
Therefore in this season, let us sow the seed of Kingdom service so that we can reap exceptional breakthroughs and breaking forth on every side. As we commit ourselves to seeking God first, certainly it will attract His overflowing blessings in every area of our lives.

PRAYER: Lord, please let the affairs of Your kingdom become top priority in my life. I thank You for the supernatural grace to continually seek You first so that everything else will be added unto me in Jesus Name ..

Before going into ministry, William Boardman was in a business partnership where he had plans of financial success. When he felt God calling him to leave his business and become a full time preacher, it was a difficult decision for him to make. Eventually William sold his part of the business and went into the seminary to begin preparations for ministry.
While in the seminary, he had a chance to make a great deal of money. So he abandoned his studies and went back into business. He later got married and everything seemed to be going well at first.
But soon he and his wife began to suffer one financial tragedy after another. A building they owned burned down, without insurance. A bank failed with most of their funds. As they faced bankruptcy, William’s wife fell ill and almost died. With all these happenings, William became convicted about his disobedience to God’s call upon his life..
Finally he repented and turned his life over to God and recommitted his finances into His hands. As he did so, his life began to regain stability.
After seeking God for months he received the revelation about living a higher life of consecration to God. This led to his writing the book titled “A Higher Christian Life” in 1858. This book became a major success and sparked a revival that influenced great Christian leaders and impacted many lives globally for Christ.

While William was reluctant to obey God because of his local business ambitions, he had no idea God wanted to use him for global impact.
Sometimes divine instructions may not agree with our own thinking or ideas, but obeying them is the key to overflowing blessings.
The truth is that it is not everything God tells us to do that is always easy or convenient. But if obedience seems costly, disobedience is far more costly. We can’t afford it.
In our life’s journey, the path of obedience to God is always the safest path to follow.
It doesn’t matter how hard a man works, if he is working outside of God’s will, all his efforts will end in futility. Because except the Lord builds the house, they labour in vain that build it and except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.[Psalm 127:1]
Perhaps today, God has been nudging your spirit to go in a particular direction, or given you an instruction from His Word..
Prompt obedience is the key to experiencing breakthroughs and overflow..
Surely, as we commit to always following God’s plans, He will direct our feet to our green pastures and cause us to break forth to unprecedented levels of fruitfulness, promotions, influence, expansion and overflowing abundance.

PRAYER; Father, today I choose to trust You with all my heart. Please grant me the grace to become committed in the study of Your Word so I can develop the faith I need to promptly obey Your instructions at all times in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Oseola McCarty dropped out of school at the 6th grade to help her mother take care of their family. She later began doing laundry for families, and would do this job for the rest of her life. From her meager income, she always tried to give and save some in the bank. She was a committed Christian who read her Bible, prayed every day, went to church every Sunday. When she turned 86, her banker sat down with her to talk about what she wanted to do with her savings. She was shocked to learn she had saved a quarter of a million dollars. She decided to set aside a pension for herself, made donation to her church, and then gave $150,000 to help African Americans get the education she never got.
When word got out that she had given away most of her life savings to help poor students, her selfless action brought her worldwide attention. This uneducated woman would be honored by the United Nations, shake hands with Presidents and receive more than 300 awards. She found a new life of fame that she could never have imagined. People all over the world applauded what she did and she became a beloved celebrity before her death at 91 years.

All through the Scriptures, we read that God wants to bless us. However God’s system of blessing is set in motion when we become generous givers towards His Kingdom and to bless humanity.
Proverbs 3:9-10 (NLT) says when we honor God through our giving, He will fill our barns with grain, and our vats will overflow with good wine.’
A life of overflow is a result of a lifestyle of giving!
Oftentimes, it seems as if there are so many needs around us that we can’t afford to give. But if we continue to observe the clouds we may never sow, and if never sow then we will never reap.
No matter what little we think we have, we can still express our love to God through how much of that little we are willing to give, it is not about the volume it is about the value.
When we give cheerfully and willingly out of what we have, God will give back to us good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over. [Luke 6:38].
The truth is that we can’t out-give God. What we give comes back multiplied as blessings. God wants to bless us, increase us and supernaturally supply our needs! He wants to multiply our influence, strength, income and resources. But to live such a life of overflow, giving must become our lifestyle.
Today, let us set the blessing into motion by making the definite commitment to live to give. As we do, God will surpass our expectations and do for us above all we could ever ask, think or imagine.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You, for releasing upon me today, the giving grace. As I begin to freely give, I thank You for opening the Heavens over me, in Jesus Name

At a young age, Mike Krieg became a millionaire.. By age 35, he had achieved his dream—to own a multimillion-ddollar custom home-building company. But his pursuit of money affected his relationship with God. He stopped going to church and stopped tithing. It also affected his family, as he got divorced and left his wife and children.
However, by 2004, Mike’s life changed on a Colorado highway when he lost control of his truck and hit another truck head on.
In the heat of the accident, he screamed out to God that he didn’t want to die and promised to become a changed man. God saved his life, and despite the ghastly collision, miraculously Mike escaped uninjured.
That night, he prayed to receive Jesus into his heart.
In the wake of the accident, Mike lost his company and almost all his money in the legal settlements to the crash victims. However, as he began to rebuild his life on Biblical principles, he began to rise again to greater heights. Through God’s blessings, he became wealthier than he once was, and today gives God credit for his amazing turnaround. His story has been featured in the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) and other Christian News outlets.

The truth is that we will be bankrupt in life if we don’t bank on God’s grace. No matter how successful a man may become, without Jesus at the center, he is only building on sinking sand. Calamity can strike at any time, and he can lose everything in a twinkle of an eye. Our only true guarantee in life is making God our greatest priority.
When we decide to serve God and obey His Biblical principles, we will truly live in overflowing blessings.
Jesus shed His blood to redeem us from the curse and usher us into a life of unlimited blessings.
Revelation 5:12 says He is the Lamb that was slain to bring to us power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing.
Jesus died that we might have life and have it more abundantly. This means living in overflow. When we commit ourselves to diligently seeking His Word and serving the interests of His kingdom, then God will commit Himself to opening up the Heavens and showering us with unending blessings. These includes prosperity, divine health, fruitfulness, longevity, preservation of our children, etc.
It doesn’t matter how terrible the past may have been; today, as we decide to make God our greatest priority, surely it will be our new season of restoration, fruitfulness, divine health, and overflowing blessings in every area of life.

PRAYER: Father, I praise You for bringing me into a season of overflowing blessings through the Blood of Jesus. Thank You Lord for being my way-maker and miracle worker and causing me to triumph always in Jesus’ Name.
