In 1864, four prospectors were down on their luck and about ready to give up their quest for fortune.
They had travelled eagerly from their homes to Southwest Montana, formerly known as Gold West Country, which drew people far and wide to look for gold.
On their way to Montana, they had spotted a stream that had signs of containing gold. They had stopped and set up camp, but unfortunately after searching they found only minimal signs of gold. Abandoning the spot, they eagerly continued on their original destination to Montana.
However after reaching the destination, their quest proved futile. Having spent 6 months exploring western Montana and finding no gold, on July 14, 1864, these men were desperate, knowing that if they did not strike it rich soon they would need to return home empty handed.
As these prospectors were returning they remembered the small stream where they had earlier searched for gold and decided to give it one more last try, after which they were prepared to give up and go home.
Interestingly this place they had earlier ignored on their way to greater prospects was where they amazingly found a great gold deposit that surpassed their imagination.
It would prove to be the second biggest placer gold deposit in Montana, producing some $19 million worth of gold in just four years.
Due to the gold rush that followed, the area became established as the town of Helena, which would become a wealthy city, with approximately 50 millionaires inhabiting the area by 1888.

Many times, we miss out on God’s best because we gave up too soon. And some of the times we feel the need to give up, may have been when we were closest to our victory.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. The worst failure of life is failure to try. Those who try again will triumph again.
Every man fails at some point, but not all accept defeat. Those who refuse to quit, eventually win.
The right angle to approach to life is the “try angle.” Keep trying because something is about to happen. Arise and try to fight again. Never fold your hands if you don’t want life to fold up on you. No matter how difficult the road, keep your faith strong in God and keep moving forward.
You are capable of much more accomplishment than you realize. You have potentials for greater victories within you. It is not about you, it is about Christ in you, the hope of glory. It is not about your capability, it is about His ability at work in you. So do not limit yourself to present circumstances. Do not let present troubles and temptations stop you from pressing into the great destiny God has ordained for you.
Our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a great weight of glory that will last forever. (2 Corinthians 4:17)
Therefore in every situation, let’s continually bless God and let His praise always be on our lips.
You may have been digging for long, but suddenly, out of the ordinary, God will cause you to strike gold. God will exceed your expectations and amaze you with His goodness.
In this season, you’ll see amazing favor, victory, dominion and increase as God causes His glory to manifest through you to amaze the world around you!

PRAYER; Lord I thank You for granting me the grace to keep pressing forward in seeking You. By Your grace I will not be discouraged nor give up. And as I keep praising You, I know indeed my miracle is on the way in Jesus Name.

JANUARY 27; GLORY IS BEING REVEALED IN YOU!

1 Peter 4:12-14 ‘Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.’

In the country of Laos in Southeast Asia, Christians often face severe persecutions. There, communism is dominant, majority of the population are Buddhists, while Christians are in the minority.
Christian activities are heavily monitored by the communist authorities, and house Churches are forced to meet underground as they are considered ‘illegal gatherings’.
Life is especially difficult for new converts to the Christian faith, who are at risk of persecution from their family and the local authorities. This can involve damage to their property, confiscation of their possessions and fines.
Few years ago there was public outcry over the News of Seven Laos Christians who were thrown out of their homes for their faith.
These seven Christians were driven out by local authorities and forced to live in the open and in the surrounding forests despite a national law that was supposed to protect their free exercise of religion.
Some other Christians in Laos languish in prison because they would not give in to the government’s condition for their release, which is to recant their faith in Christ.
Yet, despite these persecutions, many believers in Laos count it as a great joy to suffer for the sake of Christ. Their persistence and refusal to give up their faith continues to strengthen believers in other nations. Rather than diminish in the face of persecution, the Church in Laos is increasing and waxing stronger to the glory of God.

We should always maintain our joy no matter what comes our way. The truth is that trials come to everyone at some points in life.
Isaiah 43:2 says, ”When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned.” The Bible didn’t say ‘if’ but ‘when.’
This means we will all surely pass through the fire sometimes.
Apostle Peter says we should not think these fiery trials to be strange, but rather we are to count it all joy.(1 Peter 4:12-14)
Joy is a spiritual force that empowers us for victory. It is the mystery behind rising above obstacles because the joy of the Lord is our strength. The challenges and trials that come our way are often turned around by God to manifest His glory in us.
In those seasons of temptations where it seems we are in the fiery furnace, if we can focus on blessing God, He will turn the test to a testimony and it will all end in praise. Therefore, no matter what you are going through, always remain joyful and give God all the glory. The battle is not yours but the Lord’s.
Instead of looking at what the enemy may be doing, rather use the time to praise God for what He has done and is able to do in your life.
Don’t ever let the devil steal your joy. Shake off the gloom and let your voice boom with praise. Sing in the midst of your stress. Shout Hallelujah, for indeed the Lord your God is mighty and He will yet do greater things.
Today, never allow any condition to stop your praise. Keep counting it all joy and keep blessing the Lord, because He is at work to manifest His glory in you and through you.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to always maintain my joy. Let nothing ever stop the continual flow of your praise from my lips. I thank You for indeed manifesting Your glory in me and doing wonders without numbers in my life in Jesus Name.

The book ‘Cradles of Eminence’ contains the biographies of famous people and an analysis of what made them outstanding when they were children.
This book is an entirely original study of the parentage, education, and early environments of hundreds of these eminent people. Based on years of research, it provides startling answers to many far-reaching and fundamental questions about the nature of creativity.
Written in 1962 by Victor and Mildred Goertzel, it is the study of the common childhood experiences of 700 eminent people and an analysis of what made these people outstanding. It also looked into what effect their surroundings had on them that made them to eventually become great in life.
The book revealed how the childhood environment and, more specifically, the relationship with one’s close family members, can have a long-lasting impact on character development.
The authors, Victor and Mildred Goertzel spent years attempting to understand what common thread might run through all of these outstanding people’s lives. They did a lengthy review of thousands of biographies to draw their conclusions.. Surprisingly, the most outstanding fact they found was that virtually all of the famous people, had to overcome very difficult obstacles in order to become who they were. Their fame and fortune often came at the end of facing different life challenges and yet refusing to give up.

The truth is that the road to greatness is littered with battles and only those who overcome become winners and achievers in life.
As we go through the scriptures, we find also that most of those greatly used by God, were those who first passed through the fire.
Joseph went through slavery and imprisonment before mounting the throne of Egypt. For David, most of his Psalms were written in very difficult times. Apostle Paul, wrote most of the Epistles from prisons. Even today, most of the present day great men and women have had to pass through various physical and spiritual oppositions to bring the Gospel to people.
God does not tempt anyone, nor bring these trials, but when the enemy does, God uses them as trainers for our spiritual muscles. Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through trials and challenges, can the soul be strengthened, faith inspired, and success achieved.
The believer’s life is an overcomer’s life. It is a life of continually triumphing over challenges and moving from victory to victory. And our victory comes through the faith imparted to our heart by God’s Word.
When we tenaciously stand in faith in times of trials, it will all turn around for our good and to the glory of God.
Understand that the difficulties you are passing through are only preparing you for something better. This is why you must hold on to God’s Word, no matter how fierce the battle. Whatever may come your way, you will always come out on top because the greater One lives in you. Christ in you is the hope of glory. Therefore in every situation, keep giving praise to God, because as long as you are in Christ, your story will always end in glory.

PRAYER: Lord, please grant me the grace to live an overcomer’s life by maintaining a lifestyle of consistent prayers, study of the Word and praise. Thank You for revealing Your glory through my story in Jesus Name.

Peter Gladwin was barely one year old, when a domestic fire left him with 70 per cent burns and amputated fingers and toes.
His parents divorced afterwards and Peter struggled to survive as a disabled kid while being moved from one foster home to another.
Burdened by feelings of inadequacy, as he grew older he started hanging around with street gangs. He began getting in trouble with the police and was in youth custody by age 13. . When he got stabbed, he effectively lost the use of his right arm. For years Peter took refuge in gambling, drinking and drugs.
BY the age of 30, Peter was a total wreck, mentally, physically and psychologically. Every relationship had failed and he couldn’t get away from his constant barrage of adversity. Feeling defeated by the tragedies, setbacks and addictions he’d endured since childhood, he decided to end his life.
One day he climbed onto the parapet of a bridge and prepared to jump.
But while standing there, somehow he chose to run to his mother and unburden his heart.
His mum phoned his sister, who had newly become a Christian. Over the phone she prayed with Peter and he became a Christian. Thereafter his life experienced dramatic
transformation. He attended Bible College, got married and began a charity organization named ‘Out of Ashes’, which works with churches, to offer hope and restoration around the world. Peter’s story is contained in his book “Out of the Ashes: The restoration of a burned boy’.

In the face of disadvantages, disabilities, discouragement and adversities, a divine turnaround is possible.
Sometimes in life, we may face problems where it seems we are outnumbered and outgunned.
It could be a worrisome medical diagnosis, financial lack that seems insurmountable or problems that simply defy solutions.
If a situation appears more than you can handle, refuse the temptation to accept defeat or think things will never change.
There’s nothing impossible with God. There’s no condition He cannot change.
If you are wondering how help will arise for you, keep your eyes on God’s Word. God is faithful and they that call upon Him shall never be ashamed.
No matter how insurmountable the mountains and hills, we need to lift our eyes above to the One who controls them.
We serve the limitless God who holds the oceans in the palm of His hand. He sized the heavens between His fingers, poured out the dust of the earth in a measuring bowl and weighed each mountain and hill (Isaiah 40:12).
We serve the majestic Creator, to whom nothing is impossible. In Hebrews 13:5, God assures us that He will never leave us nor forsake us.
Therefore, in every trial let us stand firm on His promises and keep praising Him.
In this season let us keep pressing deeper in the place of prayer because certainly God is changing every negative story and clothing us with His glory.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You for granting me the grace to stand strong on Your Word and maintain a life of fervent prayers. As I pray, I know indeed You will take care of every cause of concern in my life and turn every mourning into dancing for me in Jesus’ Name.

In November 1947, the charismatic revivalist, William Marrion Branham held a major crusade in the city of Portland, Oregon. He was preaching to a crowd of over 6000 people when suddenly a deranged man invaded the meeting and began shouting threats.
This man, who had recently escaped from a psychiatric institution was huge and nearly seven foot tall. As he ran towards the platform, about fifty preachers who were on the platform fled from him. But Braham stood still. As the man approached, Braham remained calm and held his peace. By now, the huge man, who looked like Goliath was standing just a few feet away and loudly threatening to kill the Preacher.
Following the instructions of the Spirit, Braham calmly commanded the man to fall and bow at his feet for challenging the Word of God.
As this huge man tried to charge at Braham, to carry out his threat of harming him, suddenly something stopped him. He threw up his arms, screamed, and fell across Branham’s feet, just as the preacher had commanded him to and remained there pinned down by the supernatural power of God, until the police later came and took him away.

The glory of God is a defense for His children. It doesn’t matter the fierce roar and threat of any enemy, we must always understand that we serve the God who is the mighty Man in battle. He is El Shaddai, which means Almighty God, He who destroys over powers.
When His glory covers us, we become untouchable to every evil force. Isaiah 4:5 says the Lord will create upon every dwelling place of His people, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night; ‘for upon all the glory shall be a defense.’
On their way to the promised land, the Israelites were protected and guided by the cloud of God’s glory. Throughout their journey, they only moved when the cloud moved. Because of God’s Presence, Psalm 114 says that the red sea saw them and fled, Jordan was driven back, the mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.
Likewise in our destiny journey, God’s Presence will always cause our enemies and opposers to flee. Certainly when God is with us, who can date to be against us?
No force can stop or hinder you when you are carrying the glory of God. You become dangerous because in your battles the Lord shall fight for you, while you hold your peace.’(Exodus 14:14).
Because praise attracts God’s Presence, let us be deliberate in giving Him worthy praise at all times. In this season, as we continue to seek His glory, surely, the Lord will fight for us and give us resounding victory in every conflict.

PRAYER:
Father, today I choose to trust and praise You , no matter any challenge I may face. I know that You are indeed able to fight all my battles and cause me to triumph always in Jesus Name.

Sarah Walker known as Madam C.J. Walker is listed as America’s first female self-made millionaire in the Guinness Book of World Records. Through God’s grace she arose from the ashes of a difficult background to a place of global prominence.
Sarah was born to parents who were black slaves at a time of deep racism and segregation in America. Unfortunately, her parents died by the time she was age 7, and so she began living with her older sister. Sarah got married at age 14, and gave birth to a daughter. She was widowed just two years later and moved to the town where her older brothers had migrated to work as barbers.
Sarah who had little formal education began working as a washer woman. But her life was positively impacted by a community of Black women at the Church where she worshipped and served in the choir. These women of faith helped to mentor Sarah and encouraged her to have a greater vision of her life. During the 1890s, Sarah developed a scalp ailment treatment and began marketing her hair product. With a vision of starting a haircare empire, Sarah launched a hair care and cosmetics line for black women. Following her marriage to Charles Walker in 1906, Sarah became known as Madam C. J. Walker. Soon she founded her own business, the Madam C.J. Walker Company and traveled throughout America promoting her products. As business boomed, Sarah provided wealth-building opportunities for other black Americans. Today she is celebrated in history not only as America’s first female self-made millionaire, but also as a philanthropist who greatly impacted many lives.

In Isaiah 43:7, God says everyone who is called by His Name, has been created for His glory.
As a child of God, difficulties cannot dim the light and glory God has ordained for you. Stars shine the brightest when the night is darkest. So the greater, your challenges, the more your light should shine. What makes men give up is ordained to push you up. Life tests may seem hard and tough, but rather than obstruct you; they will become platforms to your next level. Too often, we allow the limitations modeled to us by our upbringing and circumstances set the ceiling on how far we can go in life. If you are not careful, you can allow your past to chain down your future.
But Proverbs 4:18 says the path of the just keeps shinning brighter and brighter. Your story is meant to be ‘forward ever and backward never.’ Therefore stop listening to the negative voices in your head that say you are never going to do better in life.
This year, you need to raise the bar of your expectations because there is coming an invasion of glory that will drastically change your story. To see it happen, we must enlarge our vision and stay open to new possibilities. It is time to step out of our safe zone and step into the faith zone!
Where you are is not where you’re supposed to end up. Quit believing the lies that you cannot rise higher or do better. This year, as you keep lighting up your life with knowledge from God’s Word, you will surely end up as an actor on the global stage; you will be a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden!

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for Your plans to invade my life with Your glory. Please enable me to walk more intimately with You so that I can overcome limitations and soar to the great heights You have ordained for me in Jesus Name.

From his youth, Evan Roberts was unusually serious in his Christian life. He memorized verses of the Bible and was a daily attender of Moriah Chapel, a church in his hometown.
At 13 years of age he began to hunger for a visitation from God and for the next eleven years he prayed for it. After working in the coal mines, he later entered a preparatory college to study for ministry.
In 1903 , when he was 25 years old, he began to pray for more of the power of the Spirit in his life. From then on he would wake up at 1.00 am for divine fellowship, praying for four hours before returning to bed at 5.00 am.
From the preparatory school, he returned back to his home town and began holding prayer meetings, encouraging people to pray for the outpouring of the Spirit. These meetings slowly increased in numbers and powerful waves of intercession often swept over those gathered. The crowds continued to come and the meetings often went on until the early hours of the morning.
Then in November of 1904, came the sudden invasion of glory as the Welsh revival broke forth. This spiritual revolution, which swept through the landscape as a hurricane ushered multitudes of souls into the Kingdom of God.
The Welsh Revival became one of the greatest Holy Spirit outpourings in the history of Christianity. And this happened because, Evan Roberts, prepared himself to be used mightily by God.

Nothing impacts the lives of men like the invasion of God’s glory. Just like the glory that swept through Britain, we need such fire upon our lives today more than ever before. Nothing can bring healing and deliverance, as the fresh fire of the Holy Ghost.
In generations past, men and women like Evan Roberts were used by God used to powerfully impact their world and save the lost. Likewise, as believers in these perilous times of increasing gross darkness, we have the responsibility to arise and shine and manifest God’s glory to the world.
Our first step towards manifesting glory is an encounter with the Blood of Jesus through salvation or new birth. After this, we are required to encounter “the fire” which speaks of the cleansing, purifying and sanctifying ministry of the Holy Spirit.
After we have been cleansed and purified, we then become ready to manifest God’s glory. His light will shine in our hearts to give to men the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.(2 Corinthians 4:6)
Today, as we follow this path and process that leads to glory, surely we will become formidable forces for God upon the earth and tremendously impact our generation for Christ!

PRAYER: Lord, please use me powerfully in this generation to impact lives. Today, by the Blood of Jesus, I receive the power to triumph over every darkness and continually shine my light to draw souls to salvation in Jesus Name.

It is interesting how a rejected block of marble became the World’s most famous statue.
In 1464, the cathedral in Florence, Italy , commissioned an artist named Agostino di Duccio to do a sculpture of the Biblical David. He was given an enormous slab of Carrara marble to carve from. But Agostino found the marble challenging to work with and so gave up the project. It was passed on to another artist, who also ended up abandoning the project. After that, the marble block was left outside in the sun and rain and heat and cold for around 40 years.
Eventually 26 year old Michelangelo was invited to work on the sculpture. When he saw that block of marble the two artists had earlier rejected, he saw within it great possibilities. In his mind’s eye he saw the completed sculpture of David and quickly went to work. He had a tent erected around the marble and nobody was allowed to see him at work.
Michelangelo worked on this project between 1501 and 1504 and was able to find a way to turn this unworkable block of marble into a masterpiece. With his unparalleled vision and skill, he created the towering statue famously known as the ‘DAVID’.
From the moment the sculpture was unveiled it captivated the world of art. Today, the ‘DAVID’ is considered the world’s most well-known sculpture and has been in existence for over 500 years. Yet amazingly , this masterpiece was made from an unworkable, rejected piece of marble.

God loves to turn the stones which the builders rejected into the chief corner stone. Men may look at you and see a mess, but when God looks at you, He sees a masterpiece.
Our architect and Master builder is God. Though outwardly sometimes, our lives may seem difficult and challenging, God knows that within us is the potential for glory.
Ephesians 2:10 says that You are God’s workmanship. You are His divine project. As a child of God, you are created to manifest His glory. You are not created to be average.
2 Corinthians 4:7 says your potential is a treasure hidden in an earthen vessel. You are full of amazing possibilities. If you don’t look like it now it is because your life is still under construction and God that has begun a good work in you will surely bring it to perfection.
However, prayer is a necessary process for the manifestation of God’s glory in our lives.
Luke 9:29 says that as
Jesus prayed on the mount of transfiguration, there was a transformation and His glory manifested. Likewise , as we persist in this season of prayers, we are going to experience the revelation of glory that will announce us to the world.
You may be a rejected stone today, but watch out; God is causing you to become a chief cornerstone. Just as they cast away Joseph and he turned around to become the preserver of his generation, God will turn things around dramatically for you. Every place you were once rejected, you are about to be celebrated and your shame will be turned to fame!

PRAYER: Father I thank You for the grace to persevere in prayer in this season. I know that Your glory is manifesting in my life and changing my story from rejection to unending celebrations in Jesus’ name.

Canterbury Cathedral is one of the oldest Christian structures in England. For centuries the effigy of the `Black Prince’ stood in this Cathedral. It is a stature erected in memory of the fourteenth century Prince of Wales, Edward, who fought so heroically in the wars with France and died before he assumed the throne. But until a few years ago, no one knew that the stature was made of pur;e gold. Many thought its blackness from centuries of grime and a coating of protective enamel was deliberately so because Edward, Prince of Wales, was also called Edward the ‘Black Prince’. He was so named because he often wore a black armor. So the black color of the stature seemed appropriate to his name. But recently the coating was removed, and to everyone’s astonishment, it stood forth a beautiful statue of gold! And it has been dubbed the most magnificent tomb and statue in England.

It is amazing that for centuries the glory within that stature was hidden. But when the grime and the dirt were removed, the beauty within was manifested.
Likewise, there is a covering cast that needs to be removed for the glory within us to shine forth.
Many believers’ destinies and lives have been shrouded and covered up by carnality, while within them lies hidden treasures of the Spirit that needs outward expression.
Every believer is called by God and endued with power within to accomplish something unique and great. When you identify your God given assignment and stick with it, the day will eventually come when you will be revealed to the world. David was hidden in the bushes when he was killing the lion and bear, but a day came when he was unveiled through the killing of Goliath.
In this end-time, the time has come for believers to manifest the treasures within them. But for that to happen, we must be willing to remove the carnal covering that often obscures our inner light.
The manifestation of the sons of God is the manifestation of glory.(Romans 8:19).
In this season as we stay persistent in prayers, the divine abilities domiciled in us will surely find expression to manifest the glory of God to our world.

PRAYER: Lord, by Your grace everything that has kept me hidden and obscured is today removed from my life, so that Your glory within me will manifest for the world to see in Jesus Name.

One of the world’s most intriguing and fascinating artworks is the painting ‘Salvator Mundi.” It is attributed to be the work of15th-century Italian artist and inventor Leonardo da Vinci. The painting is an oil on walnut wood panel portrait of Jesus Christ. Its title, “Salvator Mundi” is a Latin phrase meaning “Savior of the World”.
The painting depicts Jesus Christ in a blue robe, making the sign of the cross with his right hand, while holding a transparent, orb in his left, representing the ‘celestial sphere’ of the heavens.
The painting, which dates to around the 16th century, was lost to history for more than 200 years. But the Salvator Mundi was rediscovered and restored and sold for a record $450.3 million on 15 November 2017 to a Saudi Arabian Prince. It set a new record for the most expensive painting ever sold at public auction. It also became known as the world’s most valuable painting. The great price placed on this painting is because it was done by Leonardo da Vinci. Art works attributed to Leonardo da Vinci are regarded as among the world’s greatest masterpieces. His paintings are famous for their great qualities, acclaimed by both connoisseurs and critics. The value of his paintings doesn’t stem from what they look like, but the very fact that they were done by Leonardo da Vinci is what sets them apart as great and valuable works.

In the same way, our value doesn’t come from what we look like rather our value comes from the fact that Almighty God is our maker.
As God’s masterpiece, you have been fearfully and wonderfully made, incredibly engineered, and uniquely positioned as an exquisite manifestation of God’s glory.
When we catch a glimpse of the amazing ingenuity of God in how wonderfully He has created us, we cannot but praise Him continually.
Therefore refuse to go through life listening to the negative voices telling you that you’re what you are not. Stop focusing on your flaws, weaknesses and inadequacies, rather keep praising God because you are a divine project and certainly the good work God has started in your life, He is able to bring it to a glorious completion.
Do not look at your current state and feel you do not have what it takes to make it in life, rather look at your destined state as written in God’s Word and believe that you are created for signs and wonders.
You are destined to manifest God’s glory as the salt of the earth and light of the world. Obscurity and nonentity is not part of God’s plan for you. You are created to be above only and never beneath.
No matter what situation you may face today, realize that God has deliberately made you fearfully and wonderfully for His purpose and glory. All you need is to follow the plan of the Creator outlined in His Word and you will eventually experience the invasion of God’s glory that will cause you to be celebrated by your world.

PRAYER: Lord Please enable me to diligently seek You and obey Your Word in every situation so that Your glory can manifest in my life. I know that even right now, You are at work to truly turn me into a wonder to my world in Jesus Name. .

When God places His hand upon a man in life nothing can come against him, this is because the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. WORDBITE 222
