SEPTEMBER 30; TOTAL VICTORY BY THE BLOOD..

Revelation 12:11 ‘And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death’.

DAILY READING; • Luke 19:28-48; Genesis 34; Psalm 26

Darlene Deibler Rose was one of the first American women to ever travel to Papua New Guinea. She and her husband were working in the region as missionaries, when World War 2 broke out. Captured by Japanese soldiers, they were sent to separate prison camps.
Darlene was sent to a prison camp for women at Kampili, run by a cruel Japanese officer named Mr. Yamaji, who often mercilessly beat the prisoners.
One day Darlene was shocked when Mr. Yamaji called her into his office and gave her news of her husband’s death. Though heartbroken, Darlene at that moment felt compelled to share the Gospel with Mr. Yamaji, not minding the punishment he might inflict on her. Quickly she told him about the love of God, the sacrifice of Jesus and the cleansing power of His Blood.
As she spoke, she was surprised to find that Mr. Yamaji was being deeply touched. At a point he fled to another room to weep. From that moment on, his attitude towards Darlene changed positively.
However, Darlene’s situation suddenly took a turn for the worst, when the Japanese government accused of her being a spy. She was sent to a maximum-security prison, kept in solitary confinement and finally sentenced to death.
On the day of her execution, just as her executor was getting ready to wield his sword, the door to the room suddenly burst open! Some Japanese officers came in and pulled her out of the room. She was then put into a car and returned back to her former prison in Kampili.
Darlene later learnt that her life had been spared because Mr. Yamaji, on hearing of the execution, had lobbied vigorously for her release. Soldiers had been sent just in the nick of time to rescue her from the executor’s sword.
Eventually, Darlene was released from the prison and after the war, she resumed her missionary work in New Guinea. In the 1980’s, decades after the war, Darlene was delighted to hear that Mr. Yamaji had been sharing the gospel on a Japanese radio.
Her story is documeneted in her book ‘Evidence Not Seen: A Woman’s Miraculous Faith in the Jungles of World War II’.

It is truly amazing how the preaching of the cross totally changed the life of Mr. Yamaji.
Indeed the power in the Blood of Jesus is God’s divine provision for man’s freedom from every hold of darkness. The Blood of Jesus is able to shatter every siege of sin in a man’s life and grant freedom and deliverance from every captivity.
Truly, there can be no bondage so strong that it cannot be broken by the power in the Blood.
Jesus paid a high price to make available to us the manifold redemptive values of His Blood.

Especially as believers, the deliverance power in the Blood has been very evident to us this year. The Blood has been speaking”Passover” to every evil and ensuring affliction does not arise a second time in our lives. We indeed celebrate the power in the Blood that continues to grant us victory over the global pandemic. We have indeed been preserved and protected from every assault of the enemy.
Through the power in the Blood we have been able to escape the global siege and have constantly overcome the multifaceted challenges of this year.

Revelation 12:11 says ‘And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death’.

Indeed the inherent power in the Blood has constantly been enforcing victory for us over every battle. This is why as we draw the curtain on this month of September, we have to deliberately thank God for making us more than conquerors this year. Let us thank God for His manifold blessings and preservations through the Blood of Jesus. As the month ends today, we also permanently shut the door against every negative report. Truly no weapon formed against us shall ever prosper. At the same time we open the door to the great blessings awaiting us in the coming days. Surely, by the Blood of Jesus, the rest of the year shall be the best of the year for us in Jesus Name.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for the victory You continue to grant me through the Blood of Jesus. Today I invoke the speakings of the Blood against every affliction. Indeed by the mystery of the Blood I have overcome in every battle of life in Jesus Name.

Psalm 34:15 ‘The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry’

DAILY READING; Luke 19:1-27; Genesis 32-33; Psalm 25

Charles Price Jones was a prominent African American Christian leader in the twentieth century. He was a greatly talented hymnist who authored over 1000 hymns. Some of his known hymns which are still sung around the world today are ‘Deeper, Deeper’, ‘I Will Make the Darkness Light’ ‘I’m Happy With Jesus Alone’ etc.
A remarkable incident surrounded his writing of the hymn. ‘I’m Happy With Jesus Alone’.
At that time he had been facing a lot of attacks from those opposed to his ministry. But despite the opposition, Jones had continued to preach and gather a large following. Then one day, while he was conducting revival services in Mississippi, he was told that a mob had been organized to attack him. He was told that the mob planned to pull him out of the church and kill him. When he heard this news, instead of leaving the city, Jones went to the woods and prayed all day.
While he was in prayer the Lord gave him the words of the song ‘I’m Happy With Jesus Alone ‘. As the words came to him, he wrote them down on an envelope he found in his pocket.
When he came out of the woods after praying, he went to the church that evening and sang his new song with the congregation.
While they were singing, a man rushed in to inform C.P Jones of what had just happened. As the leader of the mob was headed with his men to the Church to attack the preacher, the revolver the man was carrying in his hand, had accidentally dropped to the ground and exploded. The bullet had pierced his heart and the man had been killed instantly. What had happened sent fear into the heart of the rest of the mob and consequently they halted the plan to attack Jones. And so the revival went on unhindered and undisturbed.

Indeed life is handled with prayers. It is in the hidden season of prayers that we deal with the oppositions that arise against us. The truth is that many of the difficulties and challenges, we face in life have their roots in the spirit realm. Many times the things that come against you are not just random, they are strategic attacks targeted against you for one reason: to stop the purpose, destiny and greatness in you.
This is why your response to challenges should be equally spiritual. When we resort to prayers and praises, God causes the plans of the wicked to backfire, and He gives us the victory.
Therefore, rather than bother about the threats of the enemy, let’s keep our gaze on God’s Word.

Hebrews 12: 2 says ‘Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith..’

Let’s learn to look unto Jesus and look away from problems. Look unto Jesus and look away from that medical report, the red bank account, that discouraging family situation, etc. God has you in the palm of His hands. He is bigger than anything you’re facing. He is indeed your way maker and there is no battle, situation or circumstance facing you, that He cannot handle.

Psalm 24:7-8 declares ‘The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.’
The Lord is indeed strong and mighty in battle. When He arises every enemy must scatter. As long as we are walking in His will, whenever we call upon Him, He will always answers us.(1 John 5:14)

Therefore in times of challenges, instead of panicking or running to men, go on your knees and report the matter to God. The more you pray, the less you’ll panic. The more you worship, the less you worry.
Truly there is nothing impossible with God. It doesn’t matter the roaring of the enemy, God will arise and fight for you. As you keep praising Him, He will silence every opposition.
Indeed what God has purposed in your life He will certainly bring it to pass. The good work He has begun in you, He will surely bring it to perfection.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for granting me the victory in every battle. Please help me to always focus on Your word, so that faith can arise in my heart to believe You for my miracles in Jesus Name.. .

Psalm 40:2-4 ‘He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord’.

DAILY READING; • Luke 18:18-43; Genesis 31; Psalm 24

Dr. Juanita Bynum is a globally recognized Pastor, Gospel singer and author. In 2016, she appeared on Trinity Broadcasting Network [TBN] with her sister Kathy Bynum to share the amazing story of God’s deliverance in Kathy’s life.
Kathy Bynum, like the rest of her siblings had been raised in a godly family by their parents. Kathy got to know God early in life and even used to sing in Dr. R.W Shambach’s choir. But years later, she got into a wrong relationship, and began to backslide. She became so far gone from God that she ended up addicted to cocaine. She became emaciated and most of her hair fell out. This relationship she was involved in was so abusive, that she often got severely beaten and at one time, was even hit in the head with an axe and left for dead.
Yet during this time her family kept praying and declaring God’s Word of deliverance over her. While still addicted to crack cocaine, one night Kathy was walking the streets of Chicago, when she was captured by a serial killer who had already murdered about 20 women. This man held her captive in a garage for 8 hours. He stuck a pipe in her eyes and when he was about to kill her, Kathy somehow remembered God and began to call upon the Blood of Jesus. Though this man hit her many times and inflicted wounds on her, eventually he said to her ‘ I don’t know why I can’t kill you like I have killed the other women’.
Kathy was miraculously rescued when people became alerted and the man fled. When she was later taken to the hospital, doctors told her that due to the pipe poked in her eyes, she would never be able to see again. But as her family stood in prayer, God intervened and her sight was fully restored. Soon after that it was discovered that she had cancer of the throat, but while being operated on, she died on the operating table. Though the doctors gave up, her parents refused to give up. They kept calling upon God until Kathy coughed and woke up from the dead.
Throughout her ordeal, her family stood in faith and never gave up in praying for her. Despite the hopelessness of her situation, the resurrection power of God’s Word eventually brought her out of the deepest pit and set her feet upon a solid rock.
And today, she is a fiery minister of the Gospel, who works alongside her sister Dr. Juanita Bynum to proclaim the faithfulness of God.

The story of Kathy Bynum should encourage us to never give up on sowing the seed of God’s Word and prayer. There is no situation too hopeless for the Word of God to intervene and orchestrate a rescue.
God’s Word is able to deliver out of any pit of destruction. Indeed through the power in God’s Word, every destiny is recoverable no matter the mistakes of the past.
This is why you should never give up on your loved ones and most importantly never give up on yourself.
God’s plan for you is steadfast, and even when life presents you a bend that may seem to slow down your journey, don’t ever take that bend to mean an end. When you remain resolute in your faith, God will surely rescue you from whatever you are going through.
Lazarus’ situation had looked irreparable, having been in the grave for four days. But when Jesus arrived and announced ‘ I am the resurrection and the life’, Lazarus was brought out of the grave
Jesus is the Word, and likewise the Word of God carries the resurrection power to lift us up from any pit of life. It doesn’t matter where you may be today, there is power in the Word to pick you up from any depth of despair, it can lift you out of emotional turmoil, it can bring you out of any financial mess, health challenge, relationship crisis etc.
Though the enemy tries to kill, steal and destroy, the restoration power in God’s Word gives us back life in abundance.
In Deuteronomy 28 God says that when we diligently hearken to His Word His blessings will chase us down and overtake us. Through God’s Word you can experience such an overflow of blessings that it will nullify whatever the enemy may have tried to do in your life.
Just stay in the Word and let it take deep root in your heart and you will be amazed at how God will suddenly turn things around for you. And today as you begin to praise God, not minding how impossible any situation around you may seem, God will surely turn every mourning into dancing for you; He will lift you out of the miry clay, set your feet upon the Rock and put a new song in your mouth.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank you for a sudden positive turnaround in every challenging situation I may face today. I thank You because the Power in Your Word is indeed turning every test into a testimony for me in Jesus Name.

SEPTEMBER 27; STAND STRONG IN THE LORD…

Psalm 118:6 ‘The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?’

DAILY READING; Luke 18:1-17; Genesis 29:31-30:43; Psalm 23

In the sixteenth century, there was a protestant reformer in England by the name of Hugh Latimer. He was known as one of the greatest preachers of his day. One time he was invited to preach before the King Henry VIII of England. As he thought about this great responsibility of bringing a message before the king he realized that the message that God laid on his heart was not the message that the king would want to hear.

When he eventually stood before the king, he began his sermon by saying “Latimer! Latimer! Do you remember that you are speaking before the high and mighty King Henry VIII; who has power to command you to be sent to prison, and who can have your head cut off, if it pleases him? Will you not take care to say nothing that will offend royal ears?”
He then paused and continued, “Latimer! Latimer! Do you not remember that you are speaking before the King of kings and Lord of lords; before Him, at whose throne Henry VIII will stand; before Him, to whom one day you will have to give account yourself? Latimer! Latimer! Be faithful to your Master, and declare all of God’s Word.”
Latimer faced the choice: would he preach what man wanted to hear or would he preach God’s undiluted Word? Latimer did take his stand for truth and preached boldly.
Eventually, he was martyred by King Henry’s daughter Queen Mary. However, later on, King Henry did die and Queen Mary was later executed. And just as Latimer had said, all of them would have to give account of their lives to God. In retrospect it then makes sense that Latimer chose to please God than to please man.

Psalm 118:6 says ‘The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?’

Indeed our desire to please God should always be placed above all else.
As we go through life we would often be faced with the choice of pleasing God or pleasing man. But in whatever situation we may find ourselves, we should always place God first. No matter what goes on around us, we should never compromise our stance.
Always, let the word of God be our standard for living. There is no level of civilization in the world today that can ever make the Bible to become outdated. The truth of God’s Word remains the same yesterday today and forever.
We all have been chosen, called, and separated by God to live for Him and stand for the truth. Sacrificing our standard of righteousness to please others will only result in the loss of God’s best for us. Compromise may secure a momentary gain, but it will only end in pain.

However our ability to stand strong is a function of the state of our hearts. When your heart is full of The Word and faith, you will not be intimidated by any situation to compromise. Often, the reason why people sometimes compromise in the face of challenges or fall into sin is because of lack of faith.
Faith failure is like heart failure. As long as your faith does not fail, your heart will be strong in God and it will be difficult for you to be intimidated or tempted to compromise.

Through faith, Joseph though a slave boy, refused to be intimidated and could say ‘no’ to the enticement of Potiphar’s wife.. Even when Potiphar’s wife held his coat as a threat, Joseph refused to cave in despite the consequence. Joseph’s fear of God exceeded his fear of man. And in the end God honored him, turned things around for him and elevated him above his enemies.

To overcome the allurements and temptations of this world we must maintain a passionate love relationship with Jesus Christ. If there is a breakdown in your relationship with God, it is only a matter of time until compromises start making their way into your life, and you start lowering your standards. Therefore keep your guard up, let the fire of your first love keep burning brightly. And no matter how the enemy threatens and tries to get you to compromise, refuse to be moved. Rather stand strong in faith, knowing that God is able to fight for you.

Whatever may be coming against you today in your health, your career, your finances or relationships; like Paul in Acts 20:24, declare in faith ‘none of these things move me’. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Keep your heart strong in God’s Word.
Let God be your vindicator. And as Exodus 14:14 says ‘The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”

PRAYER: Father please help me to always keep my heart filled with Your Word, so that I can remain strong in faith. I thank You that no matter what comes my way, through faith in You, I am an overcomer in every situation in Jesus Name.

SEPTEMBER 26; NEVER LET YOUR FIRE GO OUT..

Leviticus 6:13 “Fire shall be kept burning on the altar continually; it shall not go out.’

DAILY READING – Luke 17; Genesis 29:1-30; Psalm 22

On December 11, 2013 CNN reported that a family of six who went into northwestern Nevada for a playful weekend in the snow, found their adventure turned into a fight for survival. While driving along, their car accidentally turned over, and slid down an embankment until it ended up in a crevice 15 miles from the town.
When dawn broke Monday to a temperature of 21 below zero, the situation for the family of two adults and four children had become desperate. However, instead of panicking the adults kept their heads. Realizing that by trying to trek out, they could get lost and make it harder for rescuers to find them, they rather decided to stay by their broken down car. The couple, who were without extra blankets, in order to keep everyone warm, started a fire outside.
Meanwhile after relatives reported them missing an intensive search were embarked upon for this family. Rescuers did find them about midday Tuesday, nearly 48 hours after the ordeal began. When the group was found, it was indeed amazing that none had a frostbite. This was chiefly attributed to their ability to start and maintain a fire and keep warm in the midst of the cold environment. Remarkably they were able to keep the children safe 48 hours in subzero temperatures.

Indeed to survive in a cold environment, a person must strive to keep warm. In the same way in these last days, we cannot afford to allow our spiritual temperature to go low. If you lose your fire, spiritual coldness will set in.

Mathew 24:12 says ‘And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.’
Truly in the world today iniquity is abounding. Spiritually, the world is in a cold climate. Evil and perverse behaviors are fast becoming the norm in the society. And for anyone to survive this spreading spiritual coldness, fire is a necessity. To be spiritually cold or lukewarm in this end-time is indeed dangerous.
In Revelations 3:15-16 Jesus says ‘So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.’
Indeed we must keep our fire burning. God’s will is for us to always be blazing hot in the spirit.
Psalm 104:4 says ‘He makes his messengers winds, and his ministers a flaming fire’.
We are to be the light of the world, a city set on an hill that cannot be hid. This is God’s agenda for the end-time church. And one of the ways to keep our fire burning is through in-depth study of God’s Word and a strong prayer life.
The truth is that though some people go to church today, they no longer feel any zeal in their relationship with God. Daily through contact with the world, or the influences of social media, some believers’ spiritual fire are going down. Gradually they find themselves losing their former zeal and passion for the things of God.
If that is your case today, if perhaps you sense you are losing your fire, then you need to act immediately. Through fasting, study of the Word and prayers, you can re-ignite your fire. Don’t continue in a state of spiritual coldness, it is too dangerous. Ignite the fire on your prayer alter, keep it burning and never allow it to go out.
Leviticus 6:13 says “The fire shall be kept burning on the altar continually; it shall not go out.”
The Holy Spirit is referred to in Isaiah 4, “as a spirit of burning’. And when His fire begins to burn in you, every spiritual coldness and lukewarmness will flee. You will operate with boldness of faith and dominate your environment by God’s Power. Indeed when you constantly carry the fire of The Spirit , you will be too hot for any devil to handle. Let us therefore endeavor today to always keep our fire burning. Maintaining our spiritual fire is what will protect us from the spreading coldness in the world and establish us in dominion in our environment.

PRAYER; Father, please destroy every spiritual coldness in me and set me on fire by Your Spirit. Let Your light so shine through me that men will be drawn into Your kingdom in Jesus Name.

SEPTEMBER 25; GOD IS ALWAYS GOOD

Psalm 34:1 ‘I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad’.

DAILY READING • Luke 16; Genesis 27:46-28:22; Psalm 21

John Wesley was the minister of the Gospel who was used by God to found the Methodist Church. During the time of his ministry, John Wesley passed through very tough times and suffered many persecutions. But in every circumstance he always remained thankful to God at all times.
His attitude of thankfulness was a lesson he had learned while he was a 21 year old student at Oxford University. At that age John Wesley used to be snobbish and sarcastic because of his good family background, intelligence and good looks.
However, one night, Wesley had an encounter that changed his life. While talking to a porter at the university, Wesley was surprised to learn that the man was so poor that he had only one coat, lived in impoverished conditions and didn’t even have a bed. Wesley was especially surprised because he knew this porter to be an unusually happy person who was always filled with gratitude to God.
Wesley was deeply moved by the man’s attitude of gratitude despite his poverty. That night Wesley learned the true meaning of thankfulness and it was a lesson that humbled him and stayed with him for the rest of his life.

In the following years, as he faithfully served God, Wesley passed through many trials. However in all things, he remained ever thankful even till the end of his life.
By 1791, John Wesley had lived to the ripe old age of 88 years and was ready to depart the world. As he lay on his deathbed, his family gathered around were touched by his last expressions of gratitude. With his remaining breath, despite his extreme weakness, he began singing the hymn, “I’ll Praise My Maker While I’ve Breath.”
Indeed even with his last breath, John Wesley remained grateful, and continued praising God till the very end.

In every situation we are to remain joyful and praise-full. Despite the circumstances we are to bless the Lord at all times, His praise is to continually be in our mouth.
Paul said in Philippians 4:4 ‘Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.’

No matter how things may seem in the natural, Praise means looking through the eyes of faith and seeing God constantly at work in our lives. The truth is that we can never in this life grasp the full extent of the goodness of God in our lives. We can never fathom the volume of angelic activities that constantly go on around us and our families. We can never know the number of hidden battles God daily fights for us. We can never tell the many deaths we could have died but His mercy constantly said ‘No!’
How then can we not be grateful?
Indeed it is only because of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed. It is only by His grace that we continue to exist. We must therefore be thankful and always praise God for His many mercies. Indeed if it had not been for the Lord on our side where would we be? Therefore everyday of our lives, at all times and in all things, all the glory must go to God, because without Him we are nothing and can do nothing.

Lack of praise is a form of pride and expression of ingratitude. It is an anti-grace virus that causes a man to take God for granted and thus he becomes grounded.

This was why in Deuteronomy 28:47-57, God told the Israelites that because they refused to serve the Lord with joyfulness and gladness for His abundance to them, He was going to bring judgment upon them and cause them to serve their enemies with grief.

Truly, God is always good. And even if it seems you are faced with an adverse situation, through praise you can invite God in to change your story. God inhabits the praises of His people and as we praise Him, we make room for Him to come and inhabit our situation. And when God steps in, every problem must bow out. This was what happened to Paul and Silas in Acts 16:22-26.
When they broke out in praise at midnight, God arrived in the midst of their praises. At God’s Presence the prison door broke down, their chains were cut asunder and they were delivered from captivity.
Likewise, today, it doesn’t matter the obstacle you may be faced with, as you begin to praise God, He will release the breakers anointing to go before you and break down every barrier and destroy every captivity.
Truly as we bless the Lord at all times, we will reap the harvest of His unending blessings in all our endeavors.

PRAYER: Lord, You are always good and faithful. No matter what happens around me, I know You are always at work in my life and causing all things to work together for my good in Jesus Name.

SEPTEMBER 24; OBEYING GOD AT ALL COSTS

John 14: 23 ‘He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.’

DAILY READING; • Luke 15; Genesis 27:1-45; Psalm 20

William Branham was one of the most influential ministers during the Voice of Healing revival in the 1950’s. However it is believed his ministry ended tragically because of failure to stay in his place of assignment.
Though he had the gift of divine healing and operated wonderfully in that area, he however had limited knowledge of Scriptures. It was his ministry partner, Gordon Lindsay, who was well versed in the Scriptures that handled the preaching of the Word.
By 1955, Branham‘s ministry took on a radical change when he disassociated from Lindsay and then began teaching the Word. Branham soon plunged into some doctrinal errors and sensationalism, which began to create confusion in the Church.
Ministers like Kenneth Hagin and Gordon Lindsay were sent by God to warn him.
But when Lindsay attempted to reason with Branham, asking him to focus in the healing ministry where God wants him and not try to teach, Branham said simply, “Yeah, but I want to teach.” Apparently he elevated his desire to teach above staying in God’s plan.
In 1964 Branham had a vision where he was riding tired into the sunset. He understood that God was warning him that he would die soon. Also Kenneth Hagin received a prophesy about Branham’s death, saying the Lord told him, He would ‘remove the prophet’ within two years. But despite these warnings it was said that Branham continued teaching doctrinal errors.

In December 18, 1965, a drunk driver hit Branham’s car head on. His first son who was driving in another car ahead, came down and rushed to the accident scene. He found his mother dead, but his father though unconscious, still had a pulse. The healing anointing on Branham was so strong that when he stirred and his son placed his hand on his dead wife, she instantly came back to life. But Branham died soon afterwards. Part of the doctrinal confusion led his congregation to delay his burial for many months, with the hope that he would resurrect again at an appointed time. He was finally buried on April 11, 1966.

Indeed straying out of God’s Will is too expensive, none of us can afford it.
The story of William Branham is not for criticism, but rather contains a lesson for every believer. And the lesson is for us to always do what God says, nothing more and nothing less. Walking outside of God’s will is dangerous. If we stray out of the will of God and eventually fail to correct ourselves, we will have to reap the consequences. Disobedience separates a believer from God and breaks the hedge of protection around him, this is how the enemy is able to attack and oppress. No matter the price of obedience, it is ultimately much cheaper than the high cost of disobedience.
Disobedience is a silent blessing stealer; and it is the core reason why believers sometimes suffer unnecessarily.
God said if we love him, then we should follow his commands. Obeying God is an act of worship and reverence that proves that we truly love Him. And we know that God’s best is reserved for those who love Him.
God has already mapped out our destiny before the foundation of the world. On the path of our destiny He has already provided all we need for life and godliness. And as we follow His instructions , we walk in the path of His blessings. And the path of every one’s destiny is different and unique.
This is why we should not pattern our lives after what someone else is doing or do things just because it feels good. Good ideas are not always God ideas. We should not obey God as convenient, but obey as commanded. As we do, God commits Himself to bring to pass His purposes and plans for us.
Isaiah 14:24 says ‘The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:’
From this Scripture we find that God has bound Himself with an oath to fulfill His thoughts and purposes. It is therefore wisdom for us to follow His plans, because that is what He is committed to bring to pass, not our own plans. Walking in divine plan is how we arrive at our glorious destiny.
This is therefore why we need to constantly wait on God in prayer, worship and study of the Scriptures, so as to become sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit and know what God wants us to do.
Today, let us examine ourselves and repent from every form of disobedience. And as we take the decision to always obey God and make the necessary adjustments, surely it will lead to our advancements in life.

PRAYER; Lord, Please enable me to always pay the price of seeking Your face at all times so as to walk in Your plans and avoid walking in error. I thank You Lord, for granting me the grace to always obey You no matter the cost in Jesus Name.

SEPTEMBER 23; EXEMPTED BY THE BLOOD..

Psalm 91:16 ‘With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.’

DAILY READING; Luke 14:25-35; Genesis 26; Psalm 19

Cryogenics is a science that has a mission to extend human lifespan by preserving the body when a person dies through freezing it with liquid nitrogen. The aim is to revive the person to live again in the future.
Scientists believe that one day, when the knowledge of science has fully expanded, the world will be free of disease, death and aging. And they are offering hope to rich people suffering from terminal diseases that when they die their bodies could be frozen and preserved until that future time when they would be revived to come back to live in a ‘disease free world’.
However currently no scientist has the knowledge on how to revive a frozen person, but they believe that in the future they would be able to acquire that knowledge. And so those who sign up for cry-preservation do so with the hope that indeed scientists will in the future find the way to wake them up from their frozen state. They also believe that by that time too, scientists would have found cures for their terminal diseases which are untreatable today.
Currently there are only three organisations in the world that offer cryogenic freezing: they are in Michigan, Arizona and KrioRus in Russia. And the minimum fee charged by these Cryonics Institutes is around $28,000 (£22,5000).
However for their clients, this is a small price to pay if only they can achieve eternal life on earth as being promised by Cryogenics scientists.

As believers we know that total health and eternal life is only possible through Christ Jesus. It is part of the redemptive package Jesus purchased for us at Calvary. While diseases and death rage in the world as a consequence of sin, through Christ Jesus we are exempted from the plague. Through the price Jesus paid at Calvary by shedding His Blood, we can live long and enjoy divine health on earth.

Isaiah 65:20 says ‘There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed’

Indeed as we live in holiness and righteousness, we can be sure of enjoying divine health and longevity on the earth.
During Israel’s 40 years journey in the wilderness, the Bible records that none among their tribes was feeble, their legs were not swollen, and their clothes did not wax old! (Deuteronomy 29:5). That’s our heritage in God, as spiritual Israelites.
Through redemption, we are guaranteed a long and fruitful life.
God said in Psalm 91:16 ‘With long life shall I satisfy him and shew him my salvation.”

Indeed long life and divine health is yours by covenant, therefore do not let the enemy convince you otherwise. As long as you are living in line with God’s Word, you are in the path of life, where you are entitled to divine healing and divine health.
Jesus died young that we might live long. Therefore no devil is permitted to take your life before your time. No disease, calamity or assassins’ bullet is permitted to take you out. No arrow of the wicked can locate you.
But then it is unto every man according to his faith. What you believe is what you receive. This is why it is important that we be constantly filled with God’s Word so that we can have the faith to continually claim our portion of health and long life. Certainly, through the Blood of Jesus we are exempted from evil on earth. Indeed by the Blood our case will always be different.

PRAYER: Father I thank You for the grace to always study Your Word so that I can be strengthened by faith to enjoy the redemptive package You have purchased for me at Calvary. Thank You Lord for my portion of total health and long life in Jesus’ Name.

SEPTEMBER 22; EMPOWERED TO OVERCOME

Psalm 34:5 ‘‘They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.’

DAILY READING; Luke 14:1-24; Genesis 25; Psalm 18

Dr. Jerry Savelle is the president of Jerry Savelle ministries international. Since 1969, he has been traveling the world teaching people about the power of God’s Word. He has ministered in more than three thousand churches, in twenty-six nations, and has written over 70 books.
However on September 27 2016, he had an experience that severely tested his faith in God’s Word.
He had gone to the hospital for a minor routine surgery that shouldn’t have kept him more than a day or two in the hospital. However, during the surgery, he experienced a major stroke and ended up losing the use of his right arm and suffered a memory loss.
The doctors told his wife that he might never recover or be normal again, they said he may never walk and would be an invalid for the rest of his life. But Jerry’s wife through faith, promptly refuted the doctors’ verdict saying to them, ‘You don’t know our God!’
Due to the stroke, Jerry could barely move his body and could barely speak. But even in that condition, his spirit man was alive and he constantly kept praying in tongues the whole time. Also every day he spent time reading the Word and listening to Gospel messages.
As he continued to do this, his health began to improve. Soon the doctors released him to go home. While at home, as he remained connected to God’s Word, one day as he stood in his garage, the Holy Spirit began to restore his memory, and he was able to remember how to start an engine. He promptly started the motorcycles and cars parked in the garage.
Few days later, his memory was so restored that he was able to begin driving again. And despite the doctors’ verdict that he would be an invalid for life, he became totally healed. He resumed preaching and today goes around the world, once again teaching God’s Word and showing his life as a living proof of the power of the Gospel that he preaches.

Jerry Savelle’s story shows that as long as we can remain connected to God’s Word, the power in the Word is able to reverse every negative verdict and establish us as living proofs. God’s Word is the carrier of God’s power. And once God’s Word gains entrance into us, it compels the manifestation of signs and wonders. Indeed connection to God’s Word switches on the miraculous in our lives!

Psalm 107:20 says “ He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.’

The Word of God is able to deliver us out of every destruction and bring healing and restoration in every aspect of our lives.
Every issue of life answers to the authority of the Word. And as long as we can keep looking to the Word in every situation, we can never be ashamed.

Psalm 34:5 says ‘‘They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.’

Truly, those that put their trust in God are never put to shame. In moments when it may look as if it is over, God is able to show up and prove Himself faithful in our lives.
The enemy doesn’t have control or the final say over your life. People don’t control what happens to you. Only the Most High God has the final say over what happens. Only Him is in total control of our destiny.
Therefore no matter what you may be faced with today, be rest assured that as long as you can stay connected to God’s Word there is a way out for you. And in this season of fruitfulness through connection to the Word, you will be empowered to overcome every form of dryness and barrenness. Surely through the creative power of God’s Word, you will experience supernatural abundance and an overflow of blessings in all areas.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to always stay connected to Your Word in this season. Please enable me to go beyond the surface and launch into the deep study of Your Word so that I can receive the revelations that will revolutionize my life in Jesus Name. .

SEPTEMBER 21; FAITHFUL IS HE THAT CALLED YOU..

John 12:24 ‘Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit’

DAILY REAIDNG; Luke 13:18-35; Genesis 24; Psalm 17

Oral Roberts was one of the most remarkable Christian leaders of the 20th century. He was the founder of Oral Roberts University and Faith City, a medical school and hospital complex at Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Oral Roberts was born into a deeply religious, but poor family. His father and mother were ministers of the Gospel who had both received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in the wake of the famous Azuza Street revival in Los Angeles in 1906. While still pregnant with Oral, his mother had sensed God’s call upon him and so committed him to God’s service even before he was born. And even when Oral was born with a very strong stutter that made speaking difficult, his mother continued to assure him that one day God would use him to preach to multitudes.
As Oral grew older it kept looking like God’s promises over his life would never come to pass. Due to the poverty in their family, when Roberts was 16 years, he moved away from home, hoping for a better life. However he soon joined a wrong company, and rejected God and his upbringing and started living a wild life. But then his life took a drastic turn as he contracted tuberculosis and his health collapsed. His weight dropped to 120 pounds and he looked like a walking skeleton. Close to death, Oral then turned his heart back to God and gave his life to Christ.
Soon after that, a traveling healing evangelist came to their town to hold tent meetings and Oral’s family took him there. On their way to the meeting Oral heard God speak to him telling him that he would be healed and also be used to take God’s healing power to his generation. God also told him that he would build a University for Him.
At the meeting, Oral was instantly healed perfectly and his stutter also disappeared. After Oral was healed, he began to preach the Gospel and was later ordained as a minister. He would go on to become one of the most recognized preachers worldwide. He founded the Oral Roberts Evangelistic Association and also founded the Oral Roberts University.

John 12:24 says ‘Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit’

Although God’s call was upon Oral Roberts even from the womb, he became distracted by worldly pursuits. But when eventually he fell like a seed to the ground and died to his own ways and desires, God’s promise began to fully manifest in his life.
Just like Oral Roberts, many believers today are getting distracted from following God’s call, because of the demands of the present. But we have to understand that the glory imbedded in us will only come into full manifestation when we are willing to take up our cross and fully follow Christ. We have to sincerely say to God ‘not my will but Yours be done ’. Indeed our lives will come into full bloom when we are willing to be first sown as seeds that will benefit both humanity and Divinity.
But even for the times when we miss God’s will, it is still comforting to know that His gifts and callings are without repentance. [Romans 11:29]
“Without repentance” means that God won’t change His mind about what He has called you to do. And if only we can repent from following our own ways and begin to follow His will, His promises will still come to pass in our lives.
Therefore regardless of where you may find yourself today, be assured that as you begin to seek God’s face and begin to follow His plan for you, His glorious promises concerning you will still come to pass.
In following God’s call, sometimes our destinies may seem like a seed planted in the ground. Just like a seed is hidden in the ground and looks like it will never manifest outwardly, our lives can sometimes appear like that. But when you put a seed in the ground you don’t say, “I’m burying this seed,” you say, “I am planting this seed,” because you expect something better to come out of it. And so like the seed planted in the ground, though initially it may seem as if you are surrounded by dirt, eventually there is coming a great manifestation from within you. A harvest is coming from your life that you have sown as a seed in God’s service.
Despite the hindrance of the dirt, sand and stones, because you have the seed of Almighty God on the inside, you are coming out greater and stronger.
No matter how the enemy tries to stop your destiny, the gifts and callings of God inside of you will soon come into full manifestation.
And even though initially it had looked as if you were grounded, God will cause to spring forth from you great and mighty things. You will arise and shine and indeed the glory of the Lord shall be seen all around you.
No matter what you face, be assured that the work God has started in your life, He is able to complete it. Therefore, refuse to be discouraged, rather stay strong in faith and keep giving glory to God. Surely the faithful One who has called you, will eventually bring to pass His promises in your life in Jesus Name.

PRAYER
Father, I thank You for the grace for perseverance no matter the challenges that I may face. In this season, I thank You for granting me revelation from Your Word that will cause me to experience a supernatural harvest in all my endeavors in Jesus Name.
