DECEMBER 8; OUR GUARANTEE OF DELIVERANCE

1 Peter 2:24 “Who himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness- by whose stripes you were healed.”

DAILY READING; Matthew 27:1-31; Deuteronomy 5-6; Job 6

Creflo Dollar, is an American pastor, televangelist, and the founder of World Changers Church International.
Pastor Creflo Dollar would not be alive today if he did not believe in divine healing through the Blood of Jesus.
Around 2013 he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostrate cancer. When he got that report, he had a choice to either believe it or believe in the power of God’s Word.
Immediately upon receiving this medical verdict, he set out to appropriate the Word of God over this situation. He didn’t tell a single person, other than his wife. He canceled all his other plans and went away for two weeks with the Word of God, tapes and videos. He totally immersed himself in teachings about healing.
He said he prayed healing scriptures for 24 hours and 7 days a week. He read the Word and continually confessed and thanked God that he was already healed. Though the devil tried to make him accept negative thoughts about the disease, he constantly kept the Word in his ears and before his eyes.
He continued to take a dynamic dose of the Word of God until his faith for healing became greatly increased. After two weeks he came out of seclusion and went back to the doctors. They ran fresh medical tests and were amazed by what they found; Creflo Dollar was completely cancer free! There was no sign of the prostate cancer. And today, Creflo Dollar has been cancer free since 2013. The testimony about his cancer diagnosis and healing is captured in his book ‘Overcoming Fear’.

Indeed we need to have greater faith in the report of the Lord than in the report of the world. If you get bad report of any kind, don’t focus on it, don’t entertain it, or wallow in it. Rather shut out everything else, and begin to meditate on Scriptures about God’s promises.
As you continually allow the Word to fill you up day and night, faith will arise in your heart to receive your miracle. Through the power of God’s Word, you can experience your breakthrough and receive your deliverance.
In every situation, we must always think in line with God’s Word. It doesn’t matter what the facts or the experts may say, God’s Word is always superior to man’s opinion.
Certainly, the power in the Blood of Jesus is able to deliver us from every attack of the enemy. And we put that power to work through our declarations of faith.

Revelation 12:11 says ‘And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death’

Indeed through the Blood and the Word of our testimony, we can overcome every attack against our health, finances, family, etc.
Anytime you are confronted with a negative report, instead of passively accepting the negative words, attack back in faith with God’s Word.
If the enemy tries to attack your mind with thoughts of fear or intimidate and discourage you, counter that attack by declaring God’s Word and praising God for its fulfillment.
We have to understand that even if we pass through the fire and waters, God is always there to pull us through. He is our ever present help in trouble. He will never leave us nor forsake us. This is why we can be thankful in the midst of adversity and praise Him ahead of our miracles.
Indeed God is too faithful to fail and when you have faith in His Word, even in the darkest night you will still sing songs of praise.
Choosing to have faith in God’s Word and praising Him in every situation will guarantee a raise out of any pit.

Psalm 40:2-3 says ‘He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God’

It doesn’t matter how deep any pit you may find yourself, God is able to deliver you and set your feet upon a solid rock.
Therefore, today, whatever you may be confronted with, your guarantee of deliverance is the Blood of the lamb and His Word.
Certainly, as we continually engage the weapons of the Blood, the Word and praise, we will be victorious over every attack of the enemy.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You today, for the victory that I have through the Blood of Jesus. Certainly, no weapon formed against me shall ever prosper and every tongue that shall arise against me in Judgment is already condemned in Jesus Name.

DECEMBER 7; YOU SHALL NOT BE ASHAMED!

Isaiah 54:4 “Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame..”.

DAILY READING; Matthew 26:47-75; Deuteronomy 3-4; Job 5

Michael Fred Phelps is an American competitive swimmer who is the most successful and most decorated Olympian of all time. His life was on a downward spiral in 2014, but an encounter with Christ totally transformed him and gave him new hope and purpose.
Most of the pain that had led to his downward spiral stemmed from the trauma he had suffered as a child.
Michael Phelps did not have a rosy childhood. In his book ‘No Limits: The Will to Succeed’, he described himself as a child who spoke too quickly, had big ears and was scrawny. This made him to become the object of scorn and torment at the hands of bullies.
While in middle school in Baltimore, his protruding ears made him an easy target. Though Michael wore baseball hats all the time, to try to conceal the size of his ears, it didn’t work. Other kids continually swatted his ears and made fun of them.
It was very frustrating at the time for Phelps. It got to the point where he couldn’t take the teasing anymore and got into fights and got suspended from school.
After his suspension, Phelps learned to ignore the taunts of others. In retrospect, some of those adolescent difficulties probably helped Phelps to become stronger and more determined to be a great swimmer.
While the kids picked on him on dry land, he made sure that when it came to swimming in the water, nobody could beat him.
He was able to ignore the mockers and go on with his swimming career to make history by becoming the greatest and most decorated swimmer of all times.
Interestingly, after becoming successful he went back to the neighborhood, where he used to live in Baltimore. He saw the same people who used to mock him. They were still in the same neighborhood, doing menial jobs and still acting the same way. Now he had become famous, no one tried to mock him again rather they were falling all over themselves, wanting to be his friend.

To see the fullness of God’s promises in your life, you have to develop the ability to ignore detractors and distractions and keep pressing forward to your desired goal.
Interestingly when you succeed, those who laughed at you will turn around to desire to laugh with you.
Sometimes, God will allow men to first mock you before He makes you. However the question is; are we able to withstand the ‘mocking’ season that precedes, our ‘making’ season? Can we endure the story that precedes our glory?
No matter what trials and temptations may come our way, we must learn to ignore the storms and keep looking unto Jesus.
The truth is that the enemy often tries to use contrary people and situations to get you off-course. If you keep focusing on who is speaking against you, or who doesn’t like you, you will eventually lose sight of your vision and miss your mission in life
Though men may sometimes mock you, do not get distracted by their mockery, realize that beyond the present you see now, are greater heights, greater victories, greater strength and greater anointing. Though weeping may sometimes endure for the night, surely joy comes in the morning. And despite what may look like groaning now, glory is coming in the end.

It doesn’t matter how the enemy tries to frustrate your dream, as long as you don’t give up on your vision it is only a matter of time before you arrive at your destined place.
Today, if you are faced with any situation that is trying to make a mockery of you, be assured that the conclusion of your case will never end in shame! That sickness, poverty, failure, family crisis, etc will not be the end of your story.
God’s wonders in your life will soon answer everyone that has been asking; ‘where is your God?’
In Isaiah 54:4 God gives us the assurance that we shall not be ashamed or confounded.

One major way of dealing with mockery is by engaging the mystery of praise which provokes God’s wonders. Certainly, God is fearful in praises, doing wonders.
In 2 Samuel 6:1-10, when David danced with all his might, vengeance answered the mockery against him.
Michal who mocked King David for dancing in the presence of God lived the rest of her life to regret her action because she ended up with barrenness.
Certainly, when we engage in high praises, we secure divine vengeance against everything and everyone mocking our destiny.
Let us therefore in this season praise God with all our might. As we do, we will experience divine intervention and sudden elevation that will turn every issue of shame into signs and wonders.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for the grace to maintain my focus and avoid distractions. Please help me to always keep my eyes upon Your Word and Your promises. As I praise You continually, I thank You for turning every shame into glory in my life in Jesus Name.

DECEMBER 6; PRAISE YOUR WAY TO VICTORY!

Psalm 67:5-6 ‘Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.’

DAILY READING; Matthew 26:26-46; Deuteronomy 1-2; Job 4

Kenneth Copeland is known worldwide as a speaker, preacher, author and televangelist.
Recently he shared testimonies of how he received healing through praise.
One morning, as he bent over in the shower to pick up his washcloth, he had ruptured a disk in his back. This had knocked him down to the floor with extreme pain running down his leg.
He went to see his doctors, but even after being treated, the pain continued. Knowing the power in praise, Kenneth then began praising God. He thanked God that the situation was not worse than the pain in his leg. As he did this, he noticed something interesting. While he was praising God, the pain would leave. But when he got quiet, it came back.
So, he just kept shouting out praises and thanking God continually, without stopping. He thanked God for the trees, for the weather, for his family—everything he could think of. Before he knew it, the pain was gone! And it never came back.
At another time, when Kenneth Copeland was walking through a dark room, he slammed his toe into a chest and broke it. There were a lot of things he could have yelled out, but his first instinct was to shout, “Glory to God; thank You, Jesus, I’m healed!”
As it kept hurting him, Kenneth chose to believe he was healed. As the devil kept trying to get him to look at the toe and embrace the injury, Kenneth refused. Instead, he came into agreement with his wife Gloria for healing and kept speaking healing and praising God. Before the day was out, the broken toe was completely healed!

Certainly, through praise and declarations of faith we can experience healings and miracles.
Any time we engage in praising God we bring His Presence into our circumstances. And when God arrives, all enemies will be scattered. Indeed the enemies of sickness, afflictions, financial troubles etc, are no match for the power of praise.
Anytime you encounter troubles, tests, or trials, always know that there is a way out through praise.
Just bring God into that situation by giving Him worthy praise. As long as God is with you, no matter what you may pass through, your victory will always be guaranteed.

Psalm 23:4 says, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me . . . .”

Indeed God’s Presence will always make the difference.
When we engage in a praiseful lifestyle, we enter into a realm of constant victories.
Praise activates God’s power because it is an expression of our confidence in His ability. Certainly, the battle is not yours but the Lord’s.
As we praise God, He takes over our battles and gives us constant victory.
Anytime you face a tough situation, choose to engage God’s Presence, by spending time in His Word until faith is imparted into your heart. As you begin to thank God in anticipation of your miracle, you will certainly see a manifestation.

Today, no matter what you are going through, you can have the victory by switching to praise. God is pleased, when rather than become discouraged, you choose to encourage yourself in the Lord and raise a song of praise.
As you refuse to complain but continue to bless God at all times, you will experience supernatural open doors, breaking of bondages and speedy fulfillment of prophecies.
Indeed as we praise God, the earth shall yield its increase to us and our God will bless us abundantly [Psalm 67:5-6].

Always remember that you can praise your way to victory. Therefore do not ever give room to depression. Rather than worry choose to praise.
Continue to fix your eyes on Jesus and not on the negative condition. God will certainly perform His promises of wonders as you continue to praise Him by faith.
This is certainly your year!
It is indeed your season to see every obstacle turn to miracles and experience resounding victory on every side.

PRAYER: Lord, I choose to praise You at all times, no matter how things may look like around me. I know You are too faithful to fail and even right now You are bringing a positive, dramatic turnaround to my story in Jesus Name. .

DECEMBER 5; PRAISE IN THE VALLEY

Jonah 2:9 ‘But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord.’

DAILY READING • Matthew 26:1-25; Numbers 35-36; Job 3

In 2015, Australians Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran were executed for attempting to smuggle more than eight kilograms of heroin to Australia.
They were the ringleaders of the so-called ‘Bali Nine group’ who were arrested at Denpasar airport in April 2005 and sentenced in 2006 to death by firing squad.
Despite intense lobbying by the men’s families and the Australian Government, the pair were refused clemency by the Indonesian president. This was due to his hardline stance on the death penalty for convicted drug criminals.
While Australians poured out their grief and anger over the execution on social media, those close to Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran quietly rested on the belief that both were now in a better place.
This is because the two men came to know God while in prison They served Christ in their last days on the earth. Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran worked towards the rehabilitation of other prisoners and inspired other inmates to get involved in meaningful pursuits rather than waste their lives.
On the morning of their execution in 2015, the men sang praise songs to God as they walked, blindfolded, to face the firing squad. They praised until their last breath.
Though their physical body was about to die they were comforted by the thought of knowing their souls’ eternal destination.

Jesus gave thanks the night that he was living in the shadow of the cross. He was about to be crucified by the Romans, which is the most brutal form of death, yet He gave thanks.
The same night, Judas betrayed him and Peter denied him three times, Jesus gave thanks. (1 Corinthians 11:24-25)
Because of the joy that was set before Him, Jesus endured the cross and despised the shame. He chose to look forward despite the difficult circumstance of the cross that surrounded Him..
And because He endured with joy, He was able to triumph at last.
Giving God praise in the midst of contrary circumstances is what sacrifice of praise is about. A Sacrifice of praise will always get God’s attention, because it is praise that costs you something. David said ‘I will not offer unto God that which has cost me nothing.’ When we offer unto God that which costs us something, He releases unusual blessings to us. When Abraham offered his only son Isaac, God swore a blessing over him.
In this season we can turn the tides of blessing in our favor by offering a sacrifice of praise to God.
We don’t just praise God when it feels good, looks good, or benefits us in some way, we offer praise, “continually.”

Hebrews 13:15 says ‘By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name’

Even at those times, it may seem we have a good reason to feel down and discouraged, we must discipline ourselves to always give God thanks in everything.

I Thessalonians 5:18 says “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus’

Depression will only give room to the oppression of the enemy. But thanksgiving leads to our lifting.
When you continue to offer the sacrifice of praise, in the midst of difficulties, somehow, in ways you cannot fathom, things will begin to turn around.
You will see that negative medical verdict overturned, the financial problems will be resolved, the family crisis, marital troubles etc will all be overcome. Indeed there’s nothing God cannot handle in our lives, as long as we stay strong in faith and keep giving glory to Him.

PRAYER: Father please enable me to always praise You at all times and in every situation. Please destroy every form of depression and discouragement in my life. Certainly, You are at work, even now, to turn every negative situation around for my good in Jesus Name.

DECEMBER 4; POWER OF INFLUENCE

Proverbs 27:17 ‘Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.’

DAILY READING – – • Matthew 25; 31-46; Numbers 32-34; Job 2

Mark Twain, whose real name was Samuel Clemens was one of America’s best authors and humorists. He was best known for his novels, “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” and “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn”.
Mark Twain did not have much regard for the Christian faith and didn’t believe in Heaven or life after death. However, he married a simple and devout young Christian woman named Oliva.
At the beginning of their marriage, Oliva got her husband to join her in prayers at meals and to read the Bible each day. But as time went on, Mark Twain began to exert greater influence on his wife with his anti-religious views. Also as she traveled the world with him and became exposed to other religions, people, places, and philosophies, her faith gradually began to diminish.
After a while the prayers and Bible reading stopped in their home and Oliva gave up some of her religious beliefs.
Their marriage faced a lot of hardship and difficulties. Their many financial catastrophes made Mark Twain to declare bankruptcy in the 1890s. Their only son died in infancy and two of their three daughters died as young women.
During one of those sad times in their lives, Mark Twain suggested to his wife to lean on her Christian faith for comfort, but she replied that she couldn’t because she had no faith left.
Mark Twain loved his wife devotedly, but apparently his unbelieving attitude had an effect on her that even he didn’t want. After her death in 1904, Mark Twain felt responsible for causing his wife to lose her faith and the thought came back to haunt him many times till his own death.

People we walk closely with can influence our earthly journey and eternal destination.
The Bible asks us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers for an important reason. This is because of the power of influence.
Those we spend most of our times with will make great impact on our lives. Eventually their good or bad qualities will rub off on us.

For instance, Proverbs 22:24-25 says one should not hang around a hot-tempered person or you’ll become hot-tempered too like them.

Certainly, we should be careful with our associations..
We should always ensure we surround ourselves with those who will sharpen us to become better and inspire us to go further in our relationship with God. The truth is that anyone who is not adding to your life is subtracting from it. Anyone who is not sharpening you spiritually, will eventually cause you to become blunt.

Proverbs 27:17 says ‘As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.’

We should aim for relationships that sharpen us spiritually.
You cannot afford to allow another person to become a stumbling block to your spiritual progress no matter how much you loved them.
The Heavenly race is a personal race. At the end of the day everyone stands alone before God to give account of their lives on earth. Certainly, no one is worth missing Heaven for.
As we draw close to the end of this year, it is a good place to re-evaluate our relationships and ensure our spiritual life is not being compromised in any way.

If perhaps your spouse, children or close family members are lagging behind spiritually, do not leave them in that state, or else the enemy will ensure they become thorns and temptations that constantly frustrate your spiritual walk. Rather begin praying for them and encouraging them in God’s Word until they become spiritually fervent. The truth is that you are either going to positively influence them or they are going to negatively influence you.
But by God’s grace, together with our loved ones, we will continue to burn with zeal for Christ and run our race well, without losing our fire.
None of us shall be left behind and none shall be a stumbling block to another. Rather, continually our testimony shall be ‘As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.’ [Joshua 24:15]

PRAYER: Lord, please keep far from me anyone who will hinder my spiritual life in any way. Bring to me destiny helpers and those who will help me to stay spiritually fervent so that I can run my race well and continually bring glory to You in all I do in Jesus Name.

DECEMBER 3; KEEP COUNTING IT ALL JOY!

Jeremiah 30:19 ‘And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.’

DAILY READING – • Matthew 25:1-30; Numbers 30-31; Job 1

Gladys Aylward was living in London in the early 20th century when she attended a revival meeting where the preacher spoke of dedicating one’s life to God’s service. She responded to the message, and soon became convinced that she was called to preach the Gospel in China. However, Gladys did not know that in obeying the call she would face unprecedented hardship and difficulties.
When she heard of a 73-year-old missionary, Mrs. Jeannie Lawson, who was looking for a younger woman to carry on her work in China, Gladys wrote to her offering her services..
In 1930, Gladys arrived in China and began working with Mrs. Lawson to preach the Gospel in an environment that was hostile to Christianity. After Mrs. Lawson died, Gladys was left alone to carry on the mission.
Gladys became very moved by the Chinese people’s poverty and sufferings. When a mother offered to sell her own sickly child for only nine pence, Gladys was moved to tears, paid the money and adopted the child. This adoption was the beginning of her orphanage ministry which swelled to over 100 children.
In 1938, the town where they lived was attacked by the Japanese army. To escape massacre, Gladys took the 100 children in her care on a 300-mile, 12-day journey through the mountainous terrain to Chinese Nationalist territory.
They walked over rocky trails in cloth shoes that quickly deteriorated leaving their feet exposed. They slept in the open air, boiled leaves and weeds for food, and often ran for their lives to avoid Japanese bullets. Miraculously, they were able to cross the Yellow River.
The final leg of their journey was atop the cars of a coal train. Upon their arrival, though Gladys collapsed from typhoid fever, she blessed God that all the children were safe.
Indeed despite all the difficulties, Gladys remained grateful and joyful. God continued to increase her and she achieved international fame through a 1957 biography book and film about her life. She is celebrated as one of the greatest British missionaries to China.

When God calls us to an assignment, He does not promise us the road would be easy, but He does promise to be with us always.
His presence imparts into us the grace to count all trials as joy.
Though we may sometimes pass through hurts, disappointments and overwhelming hardships, we should react to negative circumstance with the understanding that God is with us. And when God is for us nothing and no one can be against us.
God’s grace will always be sufficient for us.
Somehow, He will always make a way.
This is why James 1:2 tells us to count it all joy when we pass through diverse trials..

The message translation says “Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors.” (James 1:2- MSG)

As we praise God in trials, pressures will be turned to pleasures. Out of ashes will come forth glory, beauty and color in our lives.
Indeed the altar of praise is the altar of divine turnarounds.
Therefore rather than focus on trials, let us use every such opportunity to bless God.
Learn to refuse discouragement despite any contrary situation that may seem to confront you.
In everything keep counting it all joy.
Joy is the mystery behind rising above obstacles because the joy of the Lord is our strength.
As we remain connected to God’s presence where there is fullness of joy, we will never fall no matter how hard the wind blows.
As thanksgiving and praise continually proceeds from our lips, God will multiply us and cause the earth to yield its increase to us.
Having come to the last month of the year, we are in that season where God will be crowning our efforts with good things. It is our season of sudden turnarounds and dramatic positive changes.
As we commit to a lifestyle of blessing the Lord at all times, surely, our lives will overflow with His signs and wonders.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to continue to press forward, no matter how hard the journey may seem. I thank You for strengthening my faith and enabling me to praise You always for the great and mighty things You are set to do in my life in Jesus Name.

DECEMBER 2; DESTINED FOR WONDERS.

Isaiah 14:27 ‘For the Lord of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?’

DAILY READING; Matthew 24:32-51; Numbers 28-29; Song of Solomon 8:5-14

Nicholas Duncan-Williams is the presiding archbishop and general overseer of the Action Chapel International (ACI), Accra, Ghana. He is also a pioneer of the Charismatic Movement which started over 40 years ago in Ghana.
He is a man who has known many battles starting from the womb when he survived an abortion.
After his mother aborted the pregnancy carrying him, she was surprised to go home and discover that her stomach continued to grow. When she went back to the doctor, it was discovered that she had been pregnant with twins. One baby was successfully aborted, but one baby was left behind, who survived and continued growing..
That surviving twin baby was Nicholas Duncan-Williams.
His father had 37 children and he was registered late into school . Being too old for his class, his school mates mockingly called ‘school papa.’
This, in an addition to being academically slow made him to hate going to school. He would rather go to push trucks at the market after dressing up for school. In his forays, he escaped death at the hands of ritual killers
He also had a very narrow escape from being thrown into the sea for being a stowaway on a ship.
He survived a bloody vehicle accident that cost him the loss of three fingers.
He went from one misfortune to another until he encountered Jesus.
His life a celebration of God’s amazing grace. Despite all the attempts to truncate his destiny, God’s faithfulness has prevailed. Today, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams’ ministry is known and celebrated in different parts of the world.

Isaiah 14:27 says ‘For the Lord of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?’

When God’s hand is stretched in your direction, no man can turn it back. Indeed, God’s divine plan for you no one can thwart.
The truth is that the enemy doesn’t fight you for where you are, he fights you for where you’re going.
But no matter what happens, God’s plans and purposes must surely be established as long as we align with Him..
Everyone destined for greatness will face battles, sometimes even starting from the womb.
Some of the fights you are facing now, is because of what is in your destiny. However, God’s divine purpose for you is sure. No man has the power to abort it as long as you remain connected to God.
Despite the attacks of the wicked that try to abort your purpose, God will keep you hidden, where no harm can touch you. The enemy may try his utmost best to stop you, but understand that your life is hid in Christ who is hid in God. [Colossians 3:3]. Indeed your life and times are only in God’s hands.

As an end-time believer, you must understand that you are not ordinary. You have been especially equipped for signs and wonders. Therefore never underrate yourself, you are a carrier of a glorious destiny and you have especially been packaged from Heaven and sent into the earth for such a time as this.
All the battle against you has been an attempt to abort that divine purpose within you.
Therefore you must stay focused and remain committed in following God’s Word, so as to fulfill the divine mandate upon your life..
Indeed when God’s mark is on you, the only place of strength is to hide in God, abide in Him and follow His plan for your life. Trying to live outside of God’s will, and doing your own thing will only expose you to an enemy who wants to truncate your destiny.
But as you follow God’s purpose, He will protect you and strategically orchestrate your steps.

Therefore, in every situation, let us be determined to see the glorious manifestation of God’s divine plan for us. This year there is a prophecy of wonders hanging over our lives. We must determine to see its
reality despite every attempt of the enemy to abort it. Surely, as God has purposed it, no one can disannul it, as He has spoken, so shall it come to pass
As we stay strong in faith and keep giving glory to God, certainly, this year shall end with testimonies of amazing miracles in every area of our lives.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to follow the path You have set before me so that I can arrive at my great destiny. I thank You for the grace to keep praising You in every situation. I know that indeed it is my season to see Wonders in every area of my life in Jesus Name.

DECEMBER 1; GRACE FOR DIVINE COMPLETION.

Philippians 1:6 [AMP] ‘I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it…”

DAILY READING; • Matthew 24:1-31; Numbers 25-27; Song of Solomon 6:4-8:4

Allyson Michelle Felix is an American track and field athlete who recently became the most decorated woman in Olympic track history.
She is a devoted Christian who has often said that her faith in God is definitely the most important aspect of her life. That faith became greatly tested in the period before the 2021 Olympics.
Allyson Felix passed through so many hardships prior to the Tokyo Olympics that at a point it even looked like she might not survive. She almost lost her life in 2018 when she suffered from severe preeclampsia, a pregnancy complication that nearly killed her and her baby. Her daughter had to be born prematurely through an emergency cesarean section. After the birth, Allyson’s health suffered so severely that she could not walk for a while.
She eventually recovered and began preparing for the 2021 Olympics. But at 35 years old, many believed she was too old to compete in the games and the naysayers doubted she would be able to get any medals especially after the complications to her health.
Out of the eight women who had lined up for the 400m race, Felix had the seventh-slowest time of the preliminary rounds, yet she held on to her faith in God’s divine help.
When the race started, Felix began well in Lane 9 but was soon overtaken by faster and stronger athletes.
However, just when it looked like she would lose out and never win any medal in that race, something amazing happened. In the last 20 meters to the finish line, Felix summoned a burst of speed and energy that made her to overtake others to clinch the bronze medal.
By winning the bronze medal, which is her 10th Olympic medal, she broke the world record for most Olympic medals for a woman in track and field.
Then, days later, she earned a gold in the 4×400-meter relay, marking her 11th medal and making her the most decorated US runner in history.
Despite the severe difficulties, through God’s grace, Allyson surmounted all the odds and made world history.

Though sometimes things may appear rough at the beginning, when we continue to trust in God and believe His Word, we will eventually see His promises come to manifestation.
Just like Alyson Felix, this year some of us faced challenges that seemed overwhelming, some even went through such rough situations that made them think they might never make it.
But, no matter what we went through, God has remained faithful and steadfast and by His mercies we are finally able to see the last month of this year.
Having come to the first day of December, we have every cause to be grateful. When we look back at the events of this year, we can see that God’s faithfulness has manifested at every turn. He not only gave us the grace to start out this year, He is also giving us the grace to finish well and strong.

Those times it seemed our strength had stopped, God’s grace had showed up and carried us through. When we should’ve gone under, God caused us to go over. When we didn’t see a way, He made a way.
Even in those moments we came close to the edge, God did not allow us to fall over, He kept us through His arms of love.
You only have to look at the News media, to see how many people died this year, even the rich and famous. Yet in every situation the Blood of the covenant kept speaking ‘mercy’ over us.
Through the Blood of Jesus we have escaped every plot of the enemy and triumphed over every trial and hardship.
Certainly, the power in the Blood has turned every defeat into victory for us and caused us to triumph always.

1 Corinthians 15:57 says ‘But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.’

Victory is definitely our portion as we draw close to the finish line in the race of 2021. It doesn’t matter what past months may have been like, God will cause us to finish well.
Ecclesiastes 7:8 says ‘Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof:’.
Having come to the last month of December we have come into the season of ‘better things’.
There is a release of the grace for divine completion in this season. Let us therefore tap into this grace by holding on to God’s Word and blessing Him at all times.
Certainly, God will crown the year with good things for us.
What He has started in our lives this year, He will surely bring to a flourishing and glorious end.

PRAYER: Lord, I am truly grateful for how far You have brought me this year. Thank You Lord for Your steadfast love and continual faithfulness in my life. May your praise continually be on my lips now and forever in Jesus Name. .

NOVEMBER 30; CHANGE YOUR THOUGHTS, CHANGE YOUR LIFE!

Luke 6:45 “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which is evil”.”

DAILY READING; • Matthew 23:13-39; Numbers 23:27-24:25; Song of Solomon 5:2-6:3

For decades, doctors have known of pills that have virtually no side effects, hardly costs anything to produce, yet cures or improves a wide range of illnesses for large numbers of people. These seemingly miraculous medications are known as ‘placebo treatment’. They are actually fake or dummy medicines designed to deceive patients into believing they are receiving a genuine remedy. The patient’s faith in the medicine then stimulates their brain into releasing healing chemicals into the body.
The placebo effect was discovered by an American medic, named Henry Beecher. While treating wounded soldiers during World War II, Henry Beecher ran out of pain-killing morphine. Desperate, he began infusing the soldiers with a saline solution, while telling them that he was giving them morphine. Amazingly, 40 percent of the soldiers reacted as if they had actually received morphine to ease their pain.
On another occasion, Dr. Henry needed to perform surgery on a badly wounded soldier and injected him with saline solution, while pretending to be injecting him with morphine. The soldier calmed down and Beecher went ahead with the operation without anesthesia.
When he returned to the U.S after the war, Dr. Henry Beecher began to study this phenomenon of placebo effect which ultimately made him one of the most influential people in modern medical research.
The placebo effect has mystified doctors for years. Numerous studies have shown that these fake pills, dummy therapies, and even fake surgery, work as well as the genuine remedy for many illnesses. A landmark report in the US in 1955 found that one in three people will recover from a range of conditions simply through taking placebos.
The placebo effect is simply an example of the brain convincing the body that a fake treatment is the real thing and thus stimulating healing.
New research indicates that placebos can even cause real biological changes in the body, a finding that is transforming how medicine is practiced.
Most scientists believe that the placebo response is an act of faith. Patients unknowingly given fake medicines get better because they believed in their minds that they were taking genuine medicines.
The placebo effect is proof positive of what is captured in Scripture. Proverbs 23:7a says, “For as he thinks within himself, so is he.”

The mind can be likened to the control room of life because it co-ordinates and controls the activities of a man. Our lives are determined more by our thoughts than by our circumstances.
The secrets of a man’s success are a result of the state of his mind and what he thinks most about.
We live in a world of influences. The things you read, watch and listen to, will eventually control your thoughts and determine what you believe and what you experience in life.
Indeed our thought to a large extent determine what becomes of us. Life is a reflection and summation of all our dominant thoughts. You can never go higher than your thoughts. Certainly as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.
The fruits our lives produce are the manifestation of what has been going on in our minds. The harvest of our tomorrow depends on the seed we are sowing today into our hearts.
The truth is that, until you change the way you think, you cannot change the way you live. Our lives will eventually move in the direction of our most dominant thoughts.
It therefore becomes critical how our minds are informed, because this can either reform us or deform us; it can either assist or resist the fulfillment of our destiny.
This is why the Bible tells us to guard our mind with all diligence. We need to properly manage what goes in and out of our minds, to avoid derailment of God’s plan for our lives.
One sure way to guard our minds is through constant study and meditation on Scriptures.

Today, as we draw the curtain on the month of November, let us also deliberately draw the curtain on every form of wrong thinking. Let us receive the grace, to daily align our thoughts with God’s Word, so that faith can dominate our minds to believe and receive our desired miracles, signs and wonders.

PRAYER: Lord, Please grant me the grace to fill my heart constantly with Your Word. May I have a renewed desire and appetite to constantly sow Your Word into my heart so that I can reap a harvest of signs and wonders in Jesus Name. .

NOVEMBER 29; DO NOT LIMIT GOD!

Isaiah 41:10 ‘Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.’

DAILY READING; • Matthew 23:1-12; Numbers 22:41-23:26; Song of Solomon 3:6-5:1

Kathryn Kuhlman was one of the greatest evangelists who manifested God’s miracle power in her generation. She was used by God to minister to millions across the globe.
Kathryn Kuhlman started out in ministry in 1928, after spending five years serving under the ministry of her sister and brother-in-law. As a young preacher with no financial backing from any denomination, she faced a lot of financial difficulties. Yet she lived by the principle of faith and believed she served the big God whose resources were not limited.
Trusting in God’s divine provision, she engaged a businessman to help manage her preaching schedule, even when she barely had any money.
In 1933, the financial Depression in America was severe and millions of people were out of work. Yet, Kathryn told her business manager to go to Denver, Colorado and organize a meeting and act as if they had a million dollars. When he pointed out that in reality they had only $5, she said:
“God is not limited to what we have or who we are. He can certainly use our five dollars and multiply it just as easily as He multiplied the loaves and fishes…Now go on up to Denver. Find me the biggest building you can….This is God’s business, and we’re going to do it God’s way—big!”
The business manager followed her instructions and got a big warehouse for the meetings. The first night of the meeting, 125 people showed up. By the second night, over 400 people attended and from then on, the warehouse filled to capacity every night.
People were hungry for the Word of God and the response to Kathryn’s messages was very great. After five months, Kathryn announced that the meeting was over, but the people wouldn’t hear of it. One man offered to make the down payment on a permanent building and erect a huge neon sign over it which would read, “Prayer Changes Things.”
They indeed got a permanent building where Kathryn could settle down to begin holding regular meetings in Denver.
From then on Kathryn’s ministry began to expand until it eventually became a global ministry that affected many lives. Kathryn Kulman succeeded in ministry because she trusted God and took bold steps of faith.

To see signs and wonders we must not let fear stop us from taking bold steps of faith.
The truth is that, when you move by faith and do what you can do, God will step in and do what you can’t do. When you do the natural, God will do the supernatural.
We must never limit what God can do in our lives.
When you are faced with intimidating situations always remember there is God who is greater and higher than them all. Whenever you are confronted, remember that the greater One lives in you.

In Isaiah 41:10 God says ‘Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.’

Certainly, when God is with us we will not need to fear or become dismayed. His Presence around us will strengthen us to do exploits. Being with Jesus was the secret that gave the Apostles the boldness to step out to do signs and wonders in their generation.

Acts 4:13 says ‘Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.’

Indeed spending time with Jesus through His Word, imparts boldness in our hearts to step forward in faith. Certainly, they that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits.
When the Word dominates our hearts we will receive an inoculation of power that will cause us to do extra ordinary things.
As this year begins to round up, do not be intimidated by any financial constraints or other limitations around you, rather trust that God is able to amaze you with 11th hour miracles.
Just stay in faith and keep giving glory to God for the great and mighty things He is set to do in your life.
Certainly, you won’t end this year in defeat, rather you will end it in victory! You will end it as more than a conqueror, because you serve the mighty God of miracles.

PRAYER: Lord, please enable me to meditate constantly on Your Word so that my heart can be filled with the faith I need to step out in faith. By Your grace what looks impossible to men will become possible in my life in this season in Jesus Name. .
