Bart Millard grew up in a home marked by pain and fear. His father, an abusive alcoholic, regularly beat him—so badly at times that Bart missed school. The trauma ran deep, especially after his mother fled the home to escape the violence. In the midst of this brokenness, Bart found comfort in music and began attending church, where he encountered the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
Years later, a remarkable transformation occurred: Bart’s father gave his life to Christ while battling cancer. The man who had caused so much pain became a new creation in Christ, and father and son reconciled deeply before his death. At the funeral, Bart’s grandmother said, “I can only imagine what Bub’s seeing now.” Those words stayed with Bart and later inspired him to write the hit song I Can Only Imagine.
That song became a global anthem of hope, going double platinum and touching millions. Behind the music was a story of redemption, healing, and the power of God’s grace to change even the hardest hearts.

Bart’s journey is proof that God can turn deep wounds into powerful testimonies of His divine grace and mercy.
The greatest element of transformation in the world is the Gospel. It transformed Simon, the reed, into Peter the rock. It transformed Paul, the greatest persecutor of the Church, into its greatest promoter. So can it transform anyone who comes to Christ.
It doesn’t matter how terrible a person’s past is or the weaknesses that may plague him—an encounter with God’s Word will bring definite transformation. At redemption, God breathed His life into us for the purpose of our becoming more and more like Christ. God also planted seeds of greatness in us and released all we need to fulfill our God-given destiny. Therefore, as a child of God, you are full of great potential. But to experience your destiny of greatness, you have to play your part by daily renewing your mind with God’s Word.
As you keep growing in the Word, God will do exceedingly above all you can ask or imagine. You will break forth to glorious new heights and come into your divine heritage of amazing exploits, exceptional achievements, and global impact.

PRAYER:
Lord, please help me to always fix my eyes on Your Word so that my mind can be renewed to achieve the exploits and impact You have ordained for me. I bless and praise You for the mighty things You have in store for me in this season, in Jesus’ Name.
