Huyler’s chocolate and candy company was once the largest and most prominent chocolate maker in the United States. It was founded by John S. Huyler in the late 19th century..
At 17 years of age, John Huyler entered the business world by working in his father’s bakery and ice cream shop. As he became older, he ventured out on his own and opened his first store in 1874.
In the beginning of his business, he took the Jacob’s pledge (Genesis 28:22) and covenanted to tithe and sow regularly into God’s kingdom.
Believing God to be his senior partner in business, he went to the bank and opened a special account where he faithfully deposited a certain amount of his income for God’s kingdom.
Each week the “Lord’s treasury” received increasingly large sums. Hurley also made contributions to the needy, which was always accompanied with the request that each recipient should offer praise to God alone, for he said, “After all, the money isn’t mine; it’s the Lord’s!”
The more he sowed into God’s kingdom, the more he prospered and his business grew at a phenomenal rate.
Within a few short years, Hurley’s became the largest and most prominent chocolate maker in the United States.
Huyler’s became synonymous with quality which attracted chocolatiers and candymakers from around the world to study his methods.
While his rapid growth amazed his business associates, John S. Huyler’s success secret remained his dedication to God and giving to God’s kingdom.
At the time of his death on October 1, 1910, Huyler had 54 stores across America, supplied by 14 candy factories employing about 2,000 people.

When you are in partnership with God, you will operate at Heaven’s frequency.
Indeed when we make the promotion of God’s kingdom our priority, our speedy progress becomes guaranteed.
The giving covenant will always open the Heaven over us and release to us an outpouring of blessings.
What we reap in life will always depend on how we sow.
Our degree of commitment in seeking God first determines our ultimate height in the race of life.
Seeking God first is the master key to every door of life.
What follows you is determined by who you follow. And when you run after God, good things will run after you. Truly when you seek God first, you will never end up last in life’s race.
The truth is that you can’t stand for God and not stand out on earth.
Dedication is the mystery behind distinction. How dedicated you are in serving God, determines how distinguished you will become.
As we connect to active Kingdom service, God will surely prosper us exceedingly.
Indeed as we make it top priority to serve God with our time, talent and resources, He will change our story for good and bless us beyond every expectation.
God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. When we obey and serve Him, He ensures we prosper in life.

Job 36:11 says ‘If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.’

To truly experience prosperity our focus must be to obey God and serve in His kingdom.
God delights in prospering those that favour His cause and focus on the building of His House.
In Haggai 1:4-11 God shut the heavens over the people because they had been unmindful of His house, while focusing rather on building their personal houses. However, when the people repented of their neglect of God’s House and began to build it, God once again opened the Heavens over them.

Destiny is essentially a race of responsibilities, and the utmost responsibility for us is to seek God and the promotion of His kingdom above all else. As we do this, certainly, every other thing shall be added unto us.

PRAYER: Lord please grant me the grace to connect to kingdom service like never before. As I make the promotion of Your kingdom the top priority in my life, I thank You Lord, for opening the Heavens over me and showering me with blessings in Jesus Name. .
