In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.”

Arturo Espinoza, a young Gospel minister in Chile, once faced what doctors described as an unavoidable death sentence. Tuberculosis had severely damaged his lungs, and medical examinations showed that the disease had reached its final stage. Physicians gave him only a few days to live.
Instead of surrendering to despair, Arturo chose a different response—he placed his trust completely in God. Weak and struggling to breathe, he used the little strength he had left to continue preaching the Gospel. One evening he stood on a street corner and shared the message of Christ, even though every breath felt like a battle.
Later that night, he went to his church and knelt at the altar to pray. With unwavering faith, he told the Lord he would trust His promises rather than the medical report. As he prayed, a fellow believer present in the church suddenly saw a vision of an angel performing a miraculous operation on Arturo’s lungs.
When Arturo rose from prayer, something had changed. The weakness was gone and his breathing had returned to normal. Medical examinations later confirmed what doctors could hardly believe—his lungs were completely restored. The man who had been told he would die in days was now perfectly healthy.
Psalm 56 reminds us that trust in God’s Word is the antidote to fear. When David said, “In God I will praise his word,” he revealed the secret of overcoming impossible situations—confidence in what God has spoken.
Miracles often begin where human ability ends. Medical reports, financial crises, and overwhelming circumstances may try to create fear, but faith grows when we hold firmly to the promises of God. The Word of God is not merely information; it carries divine power. When we believe it, speak it, and stand upon it, it begins to shape our reality.
Throughout Scripture we see people who experienced miracles simply because they trusted what God said. Abraham believed God’s promise and received a son in old age. The woman with the issue of blood believed in the healing power of Christ and was instantly restored.
Trusting God’s Word means choosing His promise over visible circumstances. It means praising His Word even before the miracle appears.
Today, whatever report you may be facing, let the Word of God become your foundation. Refuse to allow fear to dominate your heart. As you trust in God and hold firmly to His promises, the same power that performed miracles in Scripture will work in your life. The Word you trust today will become the miracle you testify about tomorrow.
PRAYER
Lord, I choose to trust in Your Word above every report or circumstance. Strengthen my faith to stand on Your promises until I see the manifestation of my miracles, victories, and breakthroughs in Jesus’ Name.
