Billy Jack McDaniel was working high above the ground on an oil drilling rig when tragedy struck without warning. Positioned nearly 150 feet in the air on a maintenance platform, he was suddenly caught in a massive explosion. In an instant, the rig erupted into an inferno, and Jack was engulfed in flames estimated to be over 2,000 degrees.
As the fire surrounded him like a living furnace, escape seemed impossible. Coworkers below watched in horror, convinced no one could survive such an explosion. When the flames were finally extinguished, Jack’s body had been severely burned. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors delivered a grim report: over 95 percent of his body had suffered burns, and survival was considered medically impossible.
But Jack’s wife, a woman of deep faith, began to pray and stand firmly on God’s promises of divine healing. During this time, Jack began to grow spiritually and deepen his relationship with God. Their faith soon overturned the medical verdict.
As doctors watched in disbelief, Jack’s condition gradually began to stabilize. Against all expectations, he survived the ordeal.
After four months and seventeen days in the hospital, he was discharged. Today Jack travels around the world sharing his amazing testimony and is the author of the book ‘Dead Man Breathing’.

Jesus declared in Mark 10:27 that what is impossible with men is possible with God. This truth became accessible to humanity through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the Cross. At Calvary, Christ not only paid the price for our salvation, He also restored our access to God’s promises and the supernatural life of faith.
However, the faith that receives the impossible does not grow automatically—it grows through our relationship with God’s Word. The Bible tells us that “faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” When we consistently study, meditate on, and internalize God’s Word, our hearts become filled with divine assurance. The promises of God move from being mere statements on a page to becoming living realities within us.
Through the Word, we discover what Christ accomplished for us at the Cross—healing, victory, provision, and authority over the powers of darkness. As we meditate on these truths, faith begins to rise in our hearts. That faith enables us to stand firm even when circumstances appear impossible.
The Cross purchased the victory, but the Word reveals it to us. When we continually feed on God’s Word, we access the faith that believes beyond human limitations. Therefore, if we desire to see the impossible become possible in our lives, we must remain rooted in Scripture. As we grow in the Word, our faith grows—and miracles and wonders become our daily experience.

PRAYER:
Father, I thank You for the sacrifice of Jesus that has given me access to Your power and the faith to accomplish the impossible and walk in victory always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
