Psalm 40:2-3 says ‘He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God’

Sid Roth is a televangelist whose talk show ‘It’s Supernatural!’ promotes the supernatural as it relates to Christianity.
In a recent episode Sid Roth interviewed Janice Mendoza, who got miraculously healed from oesophageal cancer while praising God.
Janice Mendonca had experienced difficulty swallowing and so went to see her doctor. At the hospital they conducted an endoscopy, by sticking a tube down her throat with a camera, and some other instruments.
The diagnosis showed her esophagus had cancerous cells. It later turned out to be oesophageal cancer. which was basically a death sentence because there was no medical cure. But Janice who is a Christian didn’t accept the verdict, rather she put her faith in God.
In 1997, she and her family moved to California and they started attending Bethel church, in Redding, California.
In December of that year, some days before Christmas, they attended the Sunday morning service. During time of praise Janice lifted her hands up and began to praise God. As she did so, she felt a burning sensation in the palms of her hands. As she continued to praise God, she felt the power of God come upon her so strongly that she could barely stand.
When the service was over, she knew she had been healed. The next day, she went for another endoscopy at the hospital where she had been diagnosed. After the examination, the medical team couldn’t believe the new result. There was no longer any evidence that she had oesophageal cancer.
Janice had been miraculously and completely healed while she was praising God.
Truly, when you look beyond your pain and adversity and praise God because of who He is, it is a powerful expression of faith that releases His miracle-working power.
Through life’s fire or flood, God will always be there to pull us through when we trust in Him. This is why we can be joyful in the midst of adversity, have a song in the night season and be at peace even in the storm.
And when you choose to praise God in the midst of adversity you will reap the harvest of His miraculous intervention. Praise will bring you out of the horrible pits of life and set your feet upon a rock..[Psalm 40:2-3]
In those times when it seems we have a good reason to feel down, we must discipline ourselves to always give God thanks in everything (I Thessalonians 5:18).
Depression will only give room to the oppression of the enemy but thanksgiving leads to our lifting.
Therefore, instead of complaining over your health, choose rather to thank God for healing and restoration. Instead of being discouraged over your finances, choose rather to thank God for overflowing abundance.
God crowns the year with good things, so we are in a conducive season for miraculous change of stories.
Tap into the season by giving God worthy worship.
No matter what is happening around you today, give God all the glory! Declare His goodness. Thank Him for what He will yet do in your life.
As you do so, get ready to see negative verdicts miraculously overturned because God never disappoints genuine worshippers.
PRAYER: Lord, Please grant me the grace to always give you worthy praise in every situation. Please help me to look beyond the obvious and trust that You are always at work in my life, doing great and mighty things for me in Jesus Name. .
