Richard Wurmbrand was a Romanian pastor who experienced imprisonment and torture by the Communist regime of Romania. While in prison, they broke four vertebrae in his back, and many other bones. They carved him in a dozen places and cut eighteen holes in his body.

After his release in 1965, the next year in 1966, Pastor Richard Wurmbrand was invited to testify before the U.S Senate subcommittee about the evils of communism. As he stood before them, he shocked everyone when he removed his shirt to show his scars from years of torture. He pointed to 18 deep scars in his neck and the numerous cuttings and carvings all over his back and body.

These were the marks he had received as punishment for preaching the Gospel. While in the prison, sometimes, Pastor Wurmbrand would be beaten till he lost consciousness. Many died in these prisons, but somehow God gave Wurmbrand the grace to always persevere. Amazingly, in the midst of these suffering, Pastor Wurmbrand and the other Christian prisoners, would still sing praises to God.
They turned the chains that bound their hands and feet into musical instruments, banging it on the floor joyfully as they sang songs of praise. Finally in 1965, Christians paid a $10,000 ransom to the Romanian government to purchase the freedom of Wurmbrand and his family. When they were flown out of Romania and brought to Norway, doctors seeing all his wounds and the scars in his lungs from tuberculosis, declared that his being alive was a miracle, he should have been dead years ago, yet God kept him. He lived to be 91 years and died on Feb. 17, 2000.

In Daniel 3, the three Hebrew boys refused to bow down to the gods of Babylon, and as a result of their defiance of the king’s order, they were thrown into the fiery furnace. However, right there in the fire, the fourth man, the Son of God, showed up and delivered them from the furnace. The faith of every true believer will be tested, one way or the other.

Though we may not pass through torture or imprisonment, situations will often come to test the strength of our belief and convictions. Non conformity to the world’s ways, and continuing to stand for righteousness will attract persecutions. The decision to be honest in business, in your office and other dealings may not go down well with everyone. The choice to live holy and righteous in a crooked and perverse generation will attract mockery and oppositions.

However, no matter what you may face, always be assured that God is able to pull you out of any fiery furnace. In Isaiah 43:2 God says, ‘When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you’. No matter what is trying to force you to bow today, refuse to conform.

Rather continue to obey God and follow His Word. Even when you face trials, always know you are never alone. God is there with you and He will never allow you to burn. Strengthen your heart through in-depth study of God’s Word, stand strong in faith and continue to praise God in every situation. As you do, the fourth man will certainly show up to rescue you from every fire of affliction.

PRAYER: Lord, please strengthen me through Your Word and grant me the grace not to bow or conform to the ways of the world. Through faith, I shall continue to stand strong and obey Your Word at all times in Jesus Name.

Dr. Harry Ironside stands out as one of the greatest Christian leaders of the 19th century. He was greatly respected and recognized as “America’s most popular expositor”. Interestingly this great man came from very humble beginnings. His father died when he was only a toddler and his family suffered great poverty.

At 14 years old, Harry accepted Christ as his Saviour, and after he finished with grammar school, his only desire was to tell others of Christ. For a while he worked with the Salvation Army, testifying and singing in their meetings and became known as “The Boy Preacher of Los Angeles.” At 22 years old, Harry Ironside stepped out by faith into fulltime ministry, and began preaching wherever he had opportunity—on street corners, in missions, in the desert towns.

Supported by no organization, he learned of absolute dependence upon God for every need. One night, he had no single money left on him, but he prayed and told God he needed 40 cents for food the next day. Then, he went out to preach on a street corner. After his message two men followed him and spoke to him. As they left they shook hands with him. In his palm when he opened it were three dimes and two nickels!

A life of prayers and diligent study of God’s Word, eventually made him to become one of the most capable and prominent preachers and spiritual giant of his generation. He was pastor of Chicago’s famous moody memorial church and was a prolific writer, whose books positively affected many lives for Christ.

When our hope is in God, despite the disadvantages of life, He will give us a divine turnaround. It can be tempting to fret and worry over our future, especially when there seems to be no human helper, but when we diligently seek God, He will become our Helper, our Source and Sustainer. God is the One that gives meaning to our lives. In Genesis 1, in the beginning Life had no meaning, everything was void, dark and in confusion, but as soon as God stepped in, Heaven and earth began, everything was formed.

Our lives can never remain void, when God steps into our affairs. God is the Hope of the hopeless, and He wants us to depend on Him at every crossroad in life. It can be easy to make projections based on our own strength or human connections. But while the arm of flesh will often fail, God’s faithfulness never fails.

Certainly, with God on our side, we will never be stranded or suffer stagnation in life. By His grace nothing will hinder our breaking forth to glorious new levels. It is our time to move from the back to the front, from pain to power, from sorrow to joy, from sickness to health, from weakness to strength and from obscurity to prominence. Therefore, let us keep walking in faith and keep glory to God for the great and mighty things He is set to do in our lives.

PRAYER: Lord, Please help me to know that Your grace is always sufficient for me and in every situation, You are able to make a way for me and bless me beyond measure in Jesus Name.

MAY 24; YOU ARE UNSTOPPABLE!

Psalm 124:6-8 ‘Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth. Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth”.

In Biblical Times, birds of all kinds abounded in Palestine, and the capture of these birds formed the employment of many persons. Those who developed the expertise and became professional bird catchers were known as fowlers. Fowlers made their income from selling captured birds. Some of the birds were sold to people who wanted them as pets.
Others bought them for use as sacrifices, especially doves and pigeons. Many people of the poorer classes, bought the birds to be devoured as food. The way fowlers captured birds was by trapping them. They would spread a net on the ground and attach it to a trap or snare. The fowler would then sprinkle some corn on the ground near the trap, and when the bird came to eat the corn, the trap would spring and a net would fly over the bird and capture it.
To further capture more birds, the fowler would sew a captured bird’s eyelids together and keep it caged. As the bird cried in anguish, the cry would attract large numbers of other birds, who through curiosity would come to investigate. As these birds approached, they too would be snared or killed by the fowler.

The activities of the fowlers are often used in the Bible to describe the works of the devil and his agents. Hosea 9:8 says “For among my people are found wicked men: they watch, as fowlers lie in wait; they set a trap, they catch men.”
It is a sad but true fact that as we pursue greater heights of success, there are those who focus on how to set traps for our downfall.
From such enemies of progress we need God’s grace to deliver us.
What a joy to know that Psalms 91:3 says “Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence”.
The fowlers who seek to set snares for our fleet will end up falling into their own traps. No matter how they gather, we have divine assurance they will fall for our sake. We just need to abide closer to God and watch Him fight our battles.
As long as we walk in covenant with God, He has promised that no evil shall befall us, neither shall any plague come near our dwelling place. His Name is a strong tower that we run into and we are safe.
We serve the God who is mighty to save and deliver us from every trap of the fowler.

Psalm 124:7 says “Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped”.
With strong faith in God, nothing and no one can stop your forward movement. In this year of your breaking forth, whatever the enemy meant for evil will turn around for your good. Stumbling blocks will turn to your stepping stones..Certainly this is your season to keep breaking forth to enviable heights and rising from glory to greater realms of glory.

PRAYER: Lord, Thank You for granting me the grace to continually abide under Your divine protection in these perilous times. I have indeed escaped every trap of the wicked and will keep ascending to higher grounds in all my endeavors in Jesus Name.

Richard D. Mangone is the author of the book ‘Busted: A Banker’s Run to Prison.’
Richard served 18 years in prison which was the longest sentence for a white-collar crime in Massachusetts. His ordeal was as a result of uncontrollable greed.
In 1980, he launched a business that prospered, expanding to 20 branches. He made millions legitimately but still he wanted more money. Five years later, he co-founded a piggy bank that was used to obtain fraudulent loans. From the proceeds he bought a 9,000-square-foot mansion, a fleet of luxury cars, a plane, and properties worth $20 million. Yet even with all that wealth he was still dissatisfied and went into further fraudulent schemes. Finally auditors uncovered his illegal dealings in 1991. This resulted in his indictment and ultimate conviction.
While on bail, Richard ran away and was a fugitive for more than a year. His name was on a Federal Most-Wanted list. After he ran out of money he planned to kill himself by inhaling poisonous gas. Few hours before then he came across an evangelist on TV preaching about Jesus on the Cross. He was so touched he cried to God for forgiveness and gave his life to Christ. Soon after he surrendered to the police and was jailed for 18 years. He spent the time in prison serving God and after his release, in 2016, he founded Bezalel Prison Ministries.

The road to financial breakthroughs is littered with temptations of every kind. Opportunities to cut corners or engage in ‘sharp practice’ will often come. How we treat such moments will determine if we rise or fall..
As believers, to experience the divine elevations and break-forth ordained for us, we must carefully avoid anything that will compromise our integrity.
God watches how faithful we are in the little before He releases more our way.
We will often have to pass examinations at our current level before we are promoted to our new level.
Gehaz was to receive a double portion of Elisha’s anointing , but he failed the test of financial integrity and ended up rather with leprosy.
Indeed great testimonies are often preceded by great tests.
Joseph would have lost the throne of Egypt, if he had caved in to the temptations of Portiphar’s wife.
To secure our glorious destiny we must guard against lowering our moral standard because no man can rise above the limitations of his own character.
But even when we sometimes miss the mark, God is able to turn things around and make miracles out of our mistakes. We serve the God of second chances, who is able to re-paint our story on the canvas of His grace and glory.
Despite what may have transpired in your past, you can arise out of every limitation and move into God’s grand plan for you. It doesn’t matter where you have been, what matters is where you are going. The door of destiny is only shut against those who refuse to keep moving forward.
As we make a fresh commitment to strictly obey God’s Word and walk in integrity, doors of opportunity will begin to open to us. It will be our season to be ushered into greater levels of breakthroughs and overflowing blessings.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask for the grace to always maintain integrity and walk in fear and reverence of Your Word in all my dealings. As I do, I thank You for connecting me to my next level and taking me to greater heights in Jesus Name.

In his book ‘How to Keep Your Healing’, Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin shared the story of a 37 years old man who had been born with a deformed foot and a leg that was about four inches shorter than the other. He couldn’t walk without crutches due to his crippled condition. But when he attended one of Kenneth Hagin’s healing meetings, he got miraculously healed.

His crippled leg grew out to the same length as the other, and his deformed foot straightened out. After his hearing, for the first time in his life, this man was able to wear a matching pair of shoes.
His joy was boundless as he began walking normally like other people. However, few weeks later, this man was walking on a street when suddenly a pain hit him in the ankle, and the foot that had been healed suddenly twisted back to its crippled shape.
The pain was so excruciating that he almost fell down. He found he could no longer walk normally again..
This man just sat down on the sidewalk, lifted up the deformed foot with his hands and yelled out loud, ‘No, you don’t, devil, you don’t put that back on me! God’s healed me!.’ As soon as he said that every symptom immediately left and his foot returned back to a normal shape. Through his declarations of faith this man stopped the devil from returning the affliction and he was able to maintain his healing.

James 4:7 says when you submit to God and resist the devil, he’ll flee from you. Through faith in God’s Word, we can successfully stop the devil’s attempt to cause affliction to arise a second time. Through His death at the cross, Christ has given us the power to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over every power of the enemy. While so much has been given to us through redemption, we must be willing to engage in a fight of faith to claim our portion.
In Joshua 1:3 God told Joshua, “Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you”. Although the promised land been given to Joshua, he still had to fight to possess it.
We must fight the good fight of faith to come into the victory that belongs to us in Christ. It has been declared that this is your year to break forth on every side. But you have to war with the prophecy to see it become a reality. This is your year to be victorious, healthy, prosperous, and blessed beyond measure.

Therefore refuse any contrary thing the enemy tries to put on you. Don’t just accept any negative condition that comes your way. Arise in prayer and resist the devil by standing firm in faith, and claiming victory by the Blood of Jesus. God’s promise in Deuteronomy 31:6 says ‘Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, He it is that doth go with thee.’

Surely, God is with you in every battle you may face today. Through the Blood of the lamb and the Word of your testimony, you will emerge an overcomer. As you constantly build up your faith for victory through studying God’s Word, you will be indefatigable. This year, by God’s grace, nothing will hinder us from living in wholeness, sound health, prosperity and all round blessings!

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for victory You have given me through the Blood of Jesus. As I commit to walking in faith, please move supernaturally in my life to do exceedingly above all I could ever ask or imagine, in Jesus’ Name.

In October 1968, Benson Idahosa officially inaugurated the Church of God Mission International, which had started previously, as a small prayer group. Though he had great hopes and expectations for the ministry as the years passed by he failed to see the massive breakthrough he longed for. Rather, progress was difficult and he was struggling to make ends meet, but all to no avail.
In June 1976, he and his wife Margaret, decided to travel to America to visit their spiritual parents, T.L Osborne and his wife Daisy whom Idahosa had known since 1960. During their visit, T.L Osborne took them to the wealthiest part of Tulsa to choose a home and promised to pay for it.
After choosing a very opulent house, Idahosa and his wife were very excited and began to envision living in the house and continuing their ministry in America. When they returned to T.L Osborne’s home, that night , around 2am, Idahosa had a divine visitation . God told him to return to Africa to continue his assignment, but if he chose to stay on in America he would be a dead man.
Immediately he heard from God, Idahosa woke up his wife and also the Osbornes and told them what God had said. Without wasting time, he packed his bag that night and left for the airport by 4am. As Idahosa returned to Benin city and continued his ministry, massive doors suddenly began to open. His crusades that used to number about 2000 people exploded and attendance gradually shot up to hundreds of thousands.
In less than ten years, his 1985 Lagos crusade had millions in attendance. God blessed Idahosa beyond his greatest imagination. He eventually built a palatial home that greatly surpassed the house in America that would have caused him to relocate his ministry. He remained ever grateful for God’s grace that saved him from missing his place in destiny.

Every act of obedience to God is passing the test that results in our change of level. Obedience is always the story behind the glory. All the giants of faith who succeeded in life, were ordinary men, made extraordinary by obedience to God. Trusting God’s timing, walking by faith and not by sight, is what brings us out of obscurity to the limelight.
Many people are languishing in irrelevance today due to following their own counsel. In our ministry, business, career, education, family, relationships etc, things will only work smoothly when we follow God’s plan. It can be tempting to follow our feelings and rely on our physical senses. However, there is a way which seems right to a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

As God leads us, though we may not initially see the whole picture as we abide faithful, soon the bigger pictures will emerge. Though your beginning may be small your later end shall be greater. Our access to breakthroughs is following divine leading. However, to clearly hear what the Lord is saying requires spending quality time in the Word, prayer, praise and fellowship with the Spirit.

As we diligently follow divine leading, surely, every stagnation will be terminated and we will continually experience miracles of massive breakthroughs and breaking forth to unlimited heights.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask for the grace to always follow Your vision and not my own ambitions. As I do, I thank You for connecting me to my next level and unfolding the good and grand plan You have ordained for me in Jesus Name.

MAY 20; FINDING LIFE’S GREATEST TREASURE!

Job 22:23 -25 “If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles. Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks. Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shalt have plenty of silver.”

For 3,000 years, there have been numerous efforts made to locate King Solomon’s mines. The world has been fascinated by the Biblical account of King Solomon’s overwhelming wealth and the spectacular temples he adorned in glittering gold. Even his drinking cups were made of gold. A Bible verse that greatly fired the imagination of gold seekers is 1 Kings 9:28 which said Solomon’s servants, went to Ophir and fetched from thence gold, 420 talents’ ( meaning roughly 20 tons of gold).
The prospect of boundless gold booty to be found in the land of Ophir inspired one of the most amazing treasure hunts in history. Ambitious men set sail into vast and dangerous oceans looking for the land of Ophir. Various calculations of the location of Ophir were given by astronomers and geographers. These locations varied from Pakistan, to Malaysia, Indonesia, to the Shona lands of Zimbabwe in Africa etc.
In 1885, Henry Rider Haggard’s best-selling book ‘King Solomon’s Mines’ further fueled the imagination of treasure hunters.
Yet despite the desperate search, over the centuries, King Solomon’s mine has remained as elusive as ever. In 2010, Archeologists believed they had discovered the lost mines in the desert, south of the Dead Sea, in modern-day Jordan. Unfortunately no gold was found in it, rather what they found was copper. But that has not deterred treasure hunters from believing that they will one day still find King Solomon’s treasure trove of gold.

Interestingly, the way to find the gold of Ophir is clearly stated in Job 22:23-25 which says
“If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles. Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks.” Returning to God, is the way to find the gold of Ophir, which represents wealth and abundance of blessings.
The decision to return to God by living righteously and obeying His commandments guarantees His blessings. Job became the greatest man in the East because he was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil(Job 1: 1-3). According to Psalm 112:1-3, wealth and riches are found in the house of the man that fears the LORD, and delights greatly in his commandments.
Therefore, our quest for success and true riches should start with the decision to live for God. True prosperity comes as a function of divine enablement and grace; which causes us to excel in life’s race. It is the blessings of God that makes rich and adds no sorrow to it. Any quest for riches outside of God will have sorrows added to it. Therefore searching for a shortcut or secret path that leads to wealth is a futile exercise because except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it. Seeking God and His kingdom first is the true path to wealth and success in life. To see breakthroughs and truly break forth on every side, we must commit ourselves to passionately seeking more of God in our lives.
As our souls prosper spiritually through the knowledge of God, it will eventually manifest in divine blessings and overflowing abundance in our lives. Indeed those who seek God meet gold, but those who seek gold miss God.

PRAYER:
Lord, help me to make seeking You my greatest priority in life. Please, grant me the grace to always seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, so that every other thing can be added unto me in Jesus Name..

In modern times, archeologists initially doubted the truth of the Biblical story of the battle of Jericho because the site had yielded no strong evidence. But in the 1950s, a British archaeologist named Kathleen Kenyon re-excavated the site with modern methods. She then found strong evidence that collaborated the Bible’s account of how the city was destroyed!

Her archaeological team found evidence for a massive destruction by fire, just as the Bible relates. Remarkably, just as the Bible had also said that Rahab’s house was spared, the archaeologists found that the north side of the city wall was preserved with houses in it. These houses were not destroyed while the rest of the wall fell.

The archeologists concluded that a great force, like an earthquake, must have pushed down the massive walls. But they were baffled by the manner in which the wall was selectively taken down suggesting that something other than a natural calamity had brought them down. The only possible explanation is of course the Bible’s account that the supernatural power of God destroyed the walls.

The destruction of Jericho was supernaturally executed because the city was too fortified for the Israelites. As Joshua was contemplating the formidable task of conquering Jericho, he looked up and suddenly saw a man with a drawn sword. This man revealed Himself as the “captain of the hosts of the Lord,” and commander of the Lord’s army who had come to fight for Israel.

Joshua then realized that the battle was not his, but rather the battle belonged to the Lord. After Joshua followed the instructions to march around the city walls, God’s power came down and destroyed the formidable resistance of Jericho

The truth is, between you and your promised land, there will always be a resisting wall of Jericho. You either have to defeat it through God’s power, or it’s going to stop you from accessing your next level of destiny. If you are facing any impossible battle today, in your health, family, finances or relationships, it is time to seek the Lord with greater fervency through studying the Word, prayers and worship.

As God arises, every enemy of your destiny must scatter. What a comfort and great encouragement to know that we are never alone when we face our strongest battles. When we face situations that seem overwhelming and greater than us, when we turn to the Lord, He always sends help out of Zion. The commander of the Lord’s army that met Joshua was a manifestation of the pre-incarnate Christ.

When we come in submission and worship, the Lord manifests Himself to us as the mighty man in battle. Whatever walls of resistance you may be confronted with today, be assured that they are no match for the power of your God. It was Israel’s faith in God that actually brought down the walls.

Hebrews 11:30 says (ESV) ‘By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they had been encircled for seven days’. Today, through faith in God and your shout of praise, surely every wall resisting your progress will come tumbling down.

PRAYER: Father, please grant me the grace to seek greater intimacy with You through consistent worship, prayers and study of Your Word. Thank You Lord for destroying every wall of resistance and giving me victory and dominion in Jesus’ Name.

In John Bevere’s book ‘the bait of satan,’ he says the Greek word for offense comes from the word ‘skand’ which originally referred to the part of a trap to which the bait was attached. The word signifies laying a trap in someone’s way. The trap of offence has snared many people and stopped them from making significant progress in life. Sometime ago, the police in Tokyo Japan arrested a man who nursed an offense for 14 years against his college professor.

This man then decided to keep the professor miserable by harassing him with incessant phone calls at night. The reason for this man’s actions was because he was denied entrance to graduate school 14 years earlier. He blamed his lost opportunity on his professor. He became so offended that from the day of the incident he chose to keep the professor sleepless. Each night he averaged about 10 phone calls, between the hours of 8 p.m. and 2 a.m; to his former professor.

Those 14 years of annoying phone calls totaled up to over 50,000 calls. Eventually the professor reported the harassing situation to the police. Consequently, the man was arrested for his actions. For 14 years this man was so angry that he allowed offenses to dominate his life.
As we go through life, there will always be a reason to get offended sometimes.

Jesus said in Luke 17:1 that ‘offences must come’. But no matter how offended we may sometimes get, we have to learn to quickly let go and move on. We cannot live in offense and live in victory, joy and peace. Whatever offends you seeks to block your access to God. Offence is the bait the enemy throws at you when seeking to cut off your communication link to God, therefore refuse to bite.

Paul was so careful to avoid offenses that he stated in Acts 24:16 says ‘And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offense toward God, and toward men.’ The state of your heart determines God’s response to you. It takes a pure heart to approach the presence of God. It takes an open heart to experience an open heaven. Therefore if we desire to truly break forth this year to great heights, we must guard our hearts with all diligence.

If your heart is dominated by offences it can repel blessings from coming to you. It is a law of the spirit that like attracts like. A negative heart will attract negative things. When we daily meditate in God’s Word, we are taking a spiritual bath that renews our mind and dislodges negative emotions from us. To go far in life, we must travel light.

This means we must drop any emotional baggage that can hinder our journey. Determine today, that no matter what anyone does, you will keep your heart offense-free. By doing so, you will maintain access to God’s Presence where there is fullness of joy, blessings and pleasures forever more.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to keep my heart continually free of any offense. No matter what happens around me, please keep my heart always dominated by Your love in Jesus Name.

The World Cup which is football’s premier international tournament began on 13 July 1930.
The Second World War disrupted the tournaments and at the end of the war, the next major World Cup took place in Brazil in 1950.
During this competition one of the greatest soccer upsets of all time took place. An amateur American team composed largely of part time players, defeated the more professional polished English team, who were known as masters of the game. . The American team’s victory was so astonishing it was dubbed the “Miracle on Grass.”
Prior to the match, the English team had a record of 23 victories and were hailed as the “Kings of Football”. In contrast the American team had lost their last seven international matches. The ragtag bunch of American amateurs included a dishwasher, two mailmen, a teacher, a mill worker and ambulance driver..
Hardly anyone expected them to win. the British newspapers mocked them and dubbed them hopeless. Even the coach of the American team agreed with the press, telling a British reporter, “We have no chance.”
When the game began, as expected, the English team assailed the Americans with one clear shot after another. But the American goalkeeper, managed to stop them from scoring.
Finally, with less than 10 minutes to go in the first half, the Americans scored the only goal of the match. Although England lashed back with a battery of shots throughout the second half, yet they could not score. So the game ended with the ragtag American team defeating the highly professional English team. Football fans could only liken the American victory to Biblical David who defeated the giant Goliath, against all odds.

In the game of life, the tables can turn at any time. Especially, when you are a child of God, your situation can suddenly change from ordinary to extraordinary and from grass to grace.
When David faced Goliath, he was just an ordinary teenager with no military training, he couldn’t even handle wearing an armor. All he had was a slingshot and five stones. But a slingshot with the favor of God is more powerful than a whole army without it. Truly, victory is not about what you have, but about Who you have. You may be ordinary, an amateur, unqualified, but with God on your side all things are possible to you!
We are often faced with goliaths of financial troubles, sickness, relationship issues etc. No matter how intimidating these situation, be determined to fight the good fight of faith.
You cannot conquer what you do not confront. As a child of God, you are destined for victory. The goliath that comes against you is not there to defeat you. Rather its purpose is to take you to your throne and establish a new level of influence in your life.
Though it may look like a challenge, it is about to bring out the champion in you. Those tough tests are about to birth your greatest testimonies.
Always remember that God has equipped you with the grace, the strength, and the power to triumph always. As you fortify yourself with prayers, study of God’s Word and praise, your victory is sure.
Certainly, through Christ you can do all things! By God’s grace this is your season to conquer every enemy and enjoy unlimited breakthroughs on all sides.

PRAYER:
Father, thank You for en-gracing me and equipping me for success and victory in life. Help me to clearly see the opportunities, You have ordained for me this year and grant me the courage to go forth in faith and triumph always in Jesus’ Name.
