Mariana snailfishes are the deepest living fishes species that has ever been discovered. These fish lives at the bottom of the Marian trench which is on the floor of the Pacific Ocean and is the deepest location on Earth.
The Mariana snailfish’s existence at such depths is an impressive accomplishment in itself, as no other fish can survive the crushing pressure which is 1,000 times more than at sea level. The kind of crushing pressure the Mariana snailfish survives can be compared to the pressure of an elephant standing on a person’s finger.
The Mariana snailfish thrives at such depths because it has been designed with flexible bones and special cells to withstand the pressure.
At sea level big fishes are usually the predators while small fishes are the prey. But in its region the small-sized Mariana snailfish is the top predator because other fishes cannot survive at that depth. So the Mariana snailfish always has more than enough to eat, as it feeds on the tiny crustaceans that are trapped on the floor of the pacific ocean.

Today many people are facing insurmountable pressures as global conditions continue to worsen.
But no matter how tough things may get, every one born of God, is destined to overcome. As a believer, you are built to withstand and you have the divine capacity to triumph always. You are designed to thrive where others cannot survive. As a child of God, you have been given exceptional spiritual depths, wisdom and understanding to excel under any condition
While others may not be able to handle the pressures, you will always be victorious because you are strengthened through Christ to do all things .
You are full of “Can do” power. You are well able to overcome oppositions, to outlast adversity. God designed you with courage, fortitude, stamina and divine abilities.
If you are faced with pressures that seem overwhelming, always remember that you are stronger than you think. Through the power of Christ, you are anointed and equipped to be more than a conqueror.
As long as you are connected to Christ there is unlimited potential in you.
Just like God designed that small Mariana snailfish with special cells and bones to withstand amazing pressure, you have been designed with divine strength to survive and withstand anything that comes your way. Because you are born of God, you can overcome the world. Where others fail, you will excel, where others break down, you will break forth and gain ground. Certainly, through Christ, you can do all things [Philippians 4:13].

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to always stand strong through faith in Your Word. Thank You for strengthening me to overcome challenges and pressures and to i triumph always in Jesus Name.

When Sven Lidman, one of Sweden’s most prominent authors, accepted Christ as Saviour in 1921, the news spread like wildfire across the nation.
Sven Lidman was born in 1882 into great privilege and received the best of education. By 1920, he was an acclaimed author and had published 13 books and collections of poetry.
Lidman was a renaissance man who had cultivated relationships with the leaders of his day, and his life was steeped in worldly pleasures. Yet he felt deep inner longings that could not be satisfied with brandy, tobacco, and women.
Lidman finally found true peace when he accepted Christ as Savior and was baptized at the leading Pentecostal church in Stockholm in 1921. The news of his transformation came as a shock to many.
Lidman’s conversion was widely covered by the nation’s press and became an ongoing topic of conversation at dinner tables across Scandinavia.
Lidman eventually became a popular Pentecostal preacher, and countless people accepted Christ through his ministry. Though Lidman had all the world had to offer, nothing could satisfy his deepest longings until he found an intimate relationship with Jesus

A person can have great accomplishments, be widely celebrated and still not be fulfilled. He can climb to the top of the corporate ladder, own homes on multiple continents, and have a bank account bursting at the seams, but still be depressed.
Today, we live in a world organized around the unspoken belief that the more success you have, the happier you will be. We are made to believe that the more the achievements of a man, the more satisfied he would become. But the truth is that True peace and joy only comes from walking in communion with God. Other things may pacify, but only God’s love can truly satisfy.
Indeed outside of Christ all is vanity and chasing after the wind. Only an intimate relationship with Him can fill the deep hunger and longing in our souls.
Success without God is never true success. Open doors outside of God can become traps.
No matter what a man achieves, if he is operating outside of God’s will, life will be a tale of uncertainties and sorrows.
As we seek breakthroughs and breaking forth to glorious realms, let us always maintain our strong anchor in Christ. By so doing we will experience God’s blessings that makes rich and adds no sorrow with it. As we continually seek His Kingdom first, there shall be added unto us supernatural success, peace, fulfillment and joy unspeakable, full of glory. .

PRAYER; Lord I thank You for enabling me to always seek You above all else.. By Your grace I shall always make You my greatest priority in life so as to enjoy supernatural breakthroughs, success and fulfillment at all times in Jesus Name.

AUGUST 3; YOUR KEY TO UNSTOPPABLE PROGRESS!

Habakkuk 3:17-19 ‘Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.’

The popular Christian hymn writer, Isaac Watts is credited with writing over 750 hymns. Many of his hymns are still in use today and have been translated into numerous languages.
His Hymn writing began very early in life. As a young boy, Isaac realized that the hymns of the day were not expressing the kind of joy he felt inside of him. He desired to write hymns that would bless The Lord and impart joy into the hearts of people. And so he began writing hymns that expressed the joy of The Lord. One of these is the very popular Christmas hymn; “Joy to the World; the Lord is come.” Isaac Watts wrote mostly hymns of praise, which were widely accepted and well loved.
Reading through the hymns written by Watts, one would never suspect that while writing those hymns, he fought battles with his health. But despite the numerous challenges he faced, he decided to continually give God worthy praise. He refused to focus on his problems but rather focused on God’s promise.
From childhood he constantly faced challenges in his health, but Isaac didn’t let anything stop his progress. He sought to bring joy to others and out of his compassion, one-third of his allowance was given to the poor.
Isaac Watts had every reason to have focused on his health challenges and remained depressed. However, he chose to give God praise instead, and today the world is blessed with so many beautiful hymns from him as a result.

The key of praise is a powerful secret for our unstoppable progress in life. We may sometimes have a good reason to feel down and discouraged, but we have to make a decision not to follow our feelings, because depression will only give room to the oppression of the enemy. The ‘sacrifice of praise’ is praising God even when our circumstances dictate the contrary.
Hebrews 13:15 says ‘By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name’

We don’t just praise God when it feels good, looks good, or benefits us in some way. We offer praise, “continually.” As I Thessalonians 5:18 says “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
The truth is that in life’s journey sometimes you may have to pass through some valleys before you can get to your mountaintop. And though you may sometimes walk through the valley of the shadow of death, never forget that ahead, God has prepared a table for you, and your cup is about to run over.
However, you must stay joyful and praiseful to see the harvest God has promised you.(Habakkuk 3:17-19).
Don’t give in to negative emotions and allow them to keep you from God’s blessings and promotion. To see victory, we need to walk by faith and not by sight. You need to stop looking at the problems and focus on God’s promise. Fix your eyes on Jesus and not on the negativity. Choose to live each day in God’s peace, by spending time in His Word until joy is imparted into your heart.
In this new month of August, let us be deliberate in maintaining our joy and praise at all times, so that we can see the wonders of God who is fearful in praises! It is certainly our month to see beauty for ashes, break through impossible barriers and break forth to unprecedented new realms of opportunities and exploits.

PRAYER: Lord, Please help me to remain praise-full at all times, no matter what comes my way. I know that indeed You are too faithful to fail and even right now you are at work to turn every mourning into dancing for me in Jesus Name.

In 1799, a young boy was fishing in a stream in North Carolina, when he saw a shiny rock gleaming in the water. He lifted this small rock and took it home. His father named John Reed was intrigued when he saw this interesting looking rock. But after examining it and not knowing what it was, he placed it by the door to be used as a doorstop. Unknown to John Reed, the rock was solid gold which at today’s gold prices would be worth at least $240,000! Yet John reed and his family used this gold rock as a doorstop for the next three years. However, one day in 1802 John Reed decided to take the interesting rock to a jeweler. The Jeweler realizing it was a 17 pound gold nugget quickly asked to buy it. And John still not knowing the value asked to be paid a mere $3.50. Later realizing that the jeweler had cheated him, he started searching for more gold in the area.  The news of the discovery of gold in the area would set the stage for America’s first gold rush. And  John Reed and his family would later become rich through discovery of more gold.

As sons of God, we are carriers of great treasures, but lack of knowledge can cause us to suffer unnecessarily.

2 Peter 1:3 says God has given us all things that we need to live a good life but they are only delivered to us through knowledge.

The Kingdom of God operates through the key of knowledge.
In Luke 11, Jesus rebuked the scribes and Pharisees, for taking away the key of knowledge. And in Mathew 16:19, Jesus speaking to His disciples said ‘And I will give unto you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven.’

God’s Word contains the keys of the Kingdom which unlocks the doors to our divine inheritance. Through knowledge of the Word we understand our covenant privileges and operate with spiritual authority as sons of God upon the earth.
As the redeemed of the Lord, we are not born again to suffer again. Rather it is God’s will that we prosper and be in health. [3 John 1:2]. But our level of experience will be determined by our level of understanding and faith. Everyone’s portion is delivered to them according to their faith.
Today, many people are grounded who are meant to be flying because they lack knowledge of what belongs to them.
Ecclesiastes 10:5 describes an error where servants ride, while princes walk. Why? Because the princes lack knowledge of who they are.
In God’s Kingdom it is those that know their God that can do exploits. Therefore in this new month of August let us seek greater knowledge of God through His Word so as to excel exceedingly.
As we grow in faith, certainly, in this month, we will break through every barrier hindering our progress and enjoy dominion and exceptional exploits in all our endeavors.

PRAYER:
Lord, I know Your Word is always true, please grant me the grace to access the faith I need for my inheritance to be delivered to me. May I never be a victim of spiritual ignorance in Jesus Name.:

Dr. Paul Yonggi Cho was the pastor of the Yoido Full Gospel Church in South Korea, which was the world’s largest congregation.
At the beginning of his ministry, in May 1958, his first worship service had only five people in attendance. But through God’s grace, the church grew rapidly and by 1969 they began construction of a 10,000 seat church auditorium, costing $5 million.
In the course of this project, Dr. Cho continually had to trust God for the funds. One day he wrote a post dated cheque of $50,000. But when the day arrived for the funds to be withdrawn, there was no money in the bank account. He knew that if his cheque bounced, it would create a big media scandal for him as a pastor. As he prayed earnestly to God, he suddenly had the idea to go and see the president of his bank to supply the funds. He did not know the bank president personally, and had no previous appointment, he had no assets for collateral, nor had any paper work been done. But Dr. Cho decided to exercise his spiritual authority and trust God for the miraculous. He went to the bank and told the secretary he was from the highest authority, meaning that he was from God. She however thought he meant he was from the President of Korea and so she ushered him past the line of waiting people, straight to the president’s office.
Confidently Dr. Cho told the bank president, that he was the pastor of a church with more than 10,000 members and the bank stood to gain tremendously , if the president would intervene in solving the $50,000 unpaid cheque confronting their building project. Though the bank president seemed to hesitate at first, eventually he wrote the $50,000 cheque.
Thus, Dr. Cho was miraculously delivered from the financial trouble through his faith and exercise of his spiritual authority.

As believers in Christ, God has given us the keys with which to break through barriers and experience miraculous open doors.
As a child of God, you are not meant to be stranded or suffer stagnation in life. Right application of the key of knowledge will always bail you out of any tight spot.
As we come into the new month of August today, it is certainly our new season to arise from every redundancy and begin to enjoy divine breakthroughs.
The month of August is the eighth month of the year. The number eight in the Bible signifies Resurrection and Regeneration. It is the number of a new beginning. Eight is also associated with the beginning of a new era or a new order.
A new season with God is when He prepares to launch us to a new realm. In this new month therefore, we are about to be launched into new levels of supernatural exploits.
Let us therefore stay in faith and continually give God worthy praise. He is indeed about to do a new thing. No matter what has happened in the past months, God is about to usher you into a place of ease and peace. Inexplicable blessings will be coming your way. Favors you may not understand will locate you. Grace will be released for speedy accomplishments. In your family, health, finances and all areas, you are breaking forth to new levels of victory, promotion, opportunities and amazing open doors.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for bringing me into this new month.I know indeed You have ushered me into a season of divine turnarounds where I shall experience beauty in the place of ashes and break forth to unprecedented new realms in Jesus Name. ..

Howard Hendricks is author of the book ‘Stories for the Heart’. It contains the story of Dallas Theological Seminary which faced bankruptcy soon after its opening in 1924.
On the day that creditors gathered to foreclose on the School’s property, key leaders of the seminary came together to pray. Among them was the president of the Seminary, Dr. Lewis Sperry Chafer and Dr. Harry Ironside, a renowned Bible teacher and expositor.
When It was his turn to intercede, Dr. Ironside prayed with faith and said “Lord, we know that the cattle on a thousand hills are Thine. Please sell some of them and send us the money.”
While the men were still praying, a Texan cattle trader came to the Dallas Theological Seminary and met the secretary,. He told her “I just sold two carloads of cattle and I feel compelled to give the money to the seminary, here’s the cheque!”
The secretary aware of the School’s financial crisis, hastened to the president’s office and handed him the cheque. Amazingly, the money was exactly the amount needed to pay off the school’s debt! Turning to Dr. Ironside, the president jokingly said, “Harry, God sold the cattles!”

Truly, God owns the cattle on a thousand hills; and He is able and available to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory. The earth belongs to the Lord and the fullness thereof and He can do exceedingly abundantly, above all we could ever ask or imagine. At the Cross Jesus died to make available redemptive blessings that cover every area of our need. Our covenant access to His divine supply is our faith. When we believe, nothing shall be impossible to us.
With enough faith, we can experience Heaven’s intervention in our health, finances, family, business, career and every other area.
One of the fastest ways of attracting Heaven’s miraculous interventions is through engaging the power of gratitude. When you are a thanks-giver, the earth will continually yield its increase to you.
Psalm 67:3, 7 says, ‘Let the people praise Thee, O God; let all the people praise Thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God shall bless us.’

As we come to the end of the month of July today, now is a good time to give God worthy praise. Truly, God has been faithful and it is only by His grace that we have come thus far. As long as we remain grateful, we can never be grounded. Gratitude empowers us to keep rising to higher altitudes. Therefore, as we genuinely appreciate and bless the Lord today, let us get ready to break forth to greater realms of exploits in the coming months.
By the power in the Blood of Jesus, nothing can hinder our continuous progress. Our path will keep shining brighter and brighter and our story will always be from glory to greater glory!

PRAYER;
Lord, I thank You from the depths of my heart for your goodness that I have seen in this month. I praise You today , for I know You have even greater things in store for me in the coming months in Jesus Name.

Christopher Columbus was born in Italy, as the son of a weaver and he had little schooling. But through God’s grace, he rose to become a great explorer and master navigator whose four transatlantic voyages opened the way for European exploration of the Americas. While many historians have written about Columbus’ first voyage to America, little emphasis has been placed on the fact that Columbus was guided by the Spirit of God in his voyages. He was a deeply devout Christian, whose focus in his exploration was to bring the Gospel to the heathen.
In 1492, Columbus set sail on a first historic voyage across the Atlantic to locate the Americas. However after three weeks of sailing and finding no sign of land, his mission seemed futile. Faith in God caused him to continue to press forward in his search. As the voyage stretched on without success, his crew became restless. Mutiny began to brew and it appeared that they would kill Columbus. Almost at the point of turning back, that was when Christopher Columbus finally saw land and the Americas was discovered. On landing at the shore, Columbus threw himself on his knees, giving thanks to God with tears of joy. His example was followed by the rest of the crew.

The time when you seem faced with overwhelming problems is not the point to give up, rather that is when to hold on to faith in God.
No matter, how long you may have been ‘drifting at sea’ in any situation, surely there is an end and your expectations shall not be cut short. Even in situations that appear impossible, trust Jesus to be your way-maker and miracle worker.
In John 6:5-14, the disciples faced a dilemma in the wilderness. The multitude who had just listened to Jesus needed to be fed, but there was not enough bread.
Jesus already knew that He was going to supernaturally multiply the loaves, yet He asked Philip ‘Whence shall we buy bread that these may eat?”
Instead of trusting in the Lord for a miracle Philip focused on the difficulty of the situation.
Many times we are more concerned about the overwhelming problems facing us rather than look to the Lord for a miracle. The Lord already knows what He is going to do in your life.
As you seek Him, He will reveal to you the appointed time for your vision, mission and miracle, so you can patiently wait for it [Habakkuk 2:3].
If all around you appear to be sinking sand, continue to stand upon God’s Word as your solid rock, because it will surely come to pass.
Certainly, in this season, our God who is a barrier-breaker and yoke-destroyer, will dismantle every resistance on our journey and bring us to new shores of opportunities, and greater levels of destiny.

PRAYER: Lord, help me not to be discouraged by what I may see physically around me, I know indeed you are working out all things together for my good, and soon I will see a manifestation of my victory in Jesus Name. ..

The 2024 Paris Olympics kicked off a few days ago, on July 26 with a four-hour opening ceremony. However, a particular performance from this opening ceremony has sparked anger, controversy, and fury from Christians across the globe.
This was the parody of Leonardo Da Vinci’s famous painting ‘The Last Supper’. During this controversial sketch, drag queens of the LGBTQ community and dancers lined a long table in an image that resembled Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Last Supper.”
The long table then transformed into a catwalk as the drag queens took the stage in homage to Paris’ fashion scene.
This performance has been deemed a derision and mockery of Christianity and has drawn angry reactions from Christian churches, organizations, and individuals around the world, leading to an apology from the Olympics committee.

We have to understand that what is happening on the global stage is only another sign of the last days.
The attempt of the enemy to pollute and dilute the Gospel is an indication of how he has also been attacking the faith of individual Christians. Every Christian is part of the stones that make up the church, so an attack against the Church is only a reflection of the attack against you, as a believer.
There’s an ongoing satanic plan to water down your belief as a child of God through diverse discouraging circumstances. Some of these attacks come in the form of situations that make it seem as if God is not answering your prayers or that things are not just working. But the Bible tells us to contend for the faith.
This means we have to be strong, resolute, and unyielding under every circumstance. Such steadfast faith is what defeats the devil and triggers miracles, signs and wonders in our lives.
In every challenge, we must be ready to fight the good fight of faith. Without contention, there cannot be possession. We will win the fight as long as we stay strong and keep giving God all the glory in adverse circumstances.
These last perilous days is a time of great attack against Christianity; therefore, we have to continually build up our faith because it is the victory that will overcome the world. Through a lifestyle of prayers and diligent study of God’s Word, we will abide strong in Christ and be victorious in battles.
By God’s grace we will always overcome every demonic agenda and keep breaking forth to greater dimensions of our glorious destiny.

PRAYER: Father I thank You because I am more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus. I receive the grace to persevere in faith until I overcome in every battle and truly break forth on every side in Jesus Name.

Due to Israel’s disobedience, God prophesied through Jeremiah that the people would be carried captive into Babylon. What God said, came to pass exactly as was prophesied.
In 607 B.C, the Babylonian armies came and destroyed Jerusalem and took the Israelites captive. For 70 years the Jews were in captivity in Babylon. At this time, Daniel Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were also carried from Judah into Babylon.
During these years of captivity, Daniel began to pray to God asking for forgiveness for his people.([Daniel chapter 9). In answer God brought fulfillment to His Word to bring restoration to Israel. Not only were they restored God also brought destruction to their captors in a wondrous manner.
The destruction of Babylon could not have been humanly foreseen. Babylon at that time, was the crown jewel of the Assyrian empire, the epitome of religion and culture in the ancient middle east, seemingly indestructible. But as prophesied, the great city of Babylon fell suddenly in one night [Jeremiah 51: 8]. According to historical records, in 539 B.C, Cyrus attacked and destroyed Babylon and restored the Jews back to their homeland, 70 years after their captivity, just as God had foretold through Jeremiah.

Though Israel was being punished for their disobedience, when they repented and turned back to God, He sent deliverance to them.
God is full of love and mercy and though we may sometimes stray, He is ever ready to receive us back.
When we understand the love of God instead of running away from Him when we sin, we should rather run to Him for mercy. He is ever ready to forgive and to restore us back, as long as we acknowledge our sins.
For some of us today, God is waiting for us to turn back from rebelling against His Word, so that He can judge the things afflicting us and hindering us from accessing our next level of destiny.

2 Corinthians 10:6 says ‘God is in readiness to revenge all disobedience when our obedience is fulfilled’

Isaiah 51:9 says ‘Behold The Lord’s hand is not shortened that He cannot save neither His ear heavy that it cannot hear but your iniquities have separated between you and your God..’

Sin is a separator between man and God. Disobedience creates a discord in our relationship with God. Amos 3:3 asks ” Can two walk together except they be agreed?”
It takes walking in agreement with God for us to enjoy good things from Him.
Job 22:21 says “Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.
Sin and disobedience hinders us from walking in blessings. Today, by the Help of the Holy Spirit let us ask for grace to live a life totally pleasing to God. As we do, He will arise and avenge every enemy of our lives and establish His great plans for us. As we become willing and obedient, surely we shall eat the good of the land, spend our days in prosperity and continually break forth on every side.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to get rid of anything displeasing to You in my life which could be hindering my long awaited breakthroughs and breaking forth on every side, in Jesus Name. .

In 2004, the Indonesian tsunami killed about 230,000 people across fourteen coastal countries. Rescue workers noted that while human casualties numbered in the thousands, there was a conspicuous absence of dead animals. Somehow, it seemed many animals had managed to escape.
The media reported that buffaloes, goats, and dogs were found unharmed and that flamingoes that used to breed at that time of the year flew to higher ground beforehand.
Scientists explained this baffling phenomenon by saying these animals escaped because they had keener senses and greater awareness of their surroundings. About an hour before the tsunami hit, people had observed elephants running away from the beach, bats flying away and dogs refusing to go for their daily run on the beach.
Unlike humans, animals take a much greater interest in their environment and react quickly. When the sea receded in the minutes before the tsunami struck, animals took notice and fled, while humans, who were insensitive, had been caught unawares.

Today, we are living in very crucial times on the earth. For anyone who will survive in these perilous times, there is a great need for spiritual sensitivity.
In Matthew 16:3, Jesus scolded the Jews for their lack of spiritual sensitivity by not understanding the signs of the times..
To understand the signs of our times we need the Holy Spirit to be our compass and guiding light. He is the One that will reveal the future to us and give us warnings that will help us escape the evil in the world. John 16:13 says that the Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth and show us things to come.
To be able to hear the voice of the Spirit, we need to move up to higher in our prayers, study of the Word, worship and fellowship with the Spirit. As the enemy releases floods and tsunamis of wickedness in the world, a place of intimacy with the Spirit is where we will experience safety, peace and security.
We will always overcome because of the greater One that lives in us. [1 John 4:4].
In these last days, developing greater sensitivity to the Spirit is very crucial because the enemy is going about like a roaring lion looking for whom to devour. As we are guided by the Spirit, we will walk in boldness of faith. In the midst of global difficulties, we will be indefatigable and keep breaking forth to higher grounds of victories, miracles, signs, and wonders.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to pay the required price in prayer, worship, and study of the Word, to rise to that place of intimacy and fellowship with You, where I will triumph always in Jesus Name. .
