When he was six years old, Lopez Lomong was kidnapped from his village in Sudan by rebel militia who intended to turn him into a child soldier.
He was imprisoned at a rebel camp where he watched other young captives die. One night three older boys helped Lopez to escape and together they ran for three days and sixty miles, until Kenyan Border Patrol found them and took them to a refugee camp. Lopez spent the next 10 years in the refugee camp.
Food was meagre in the camp so he began running and playing soccer to keep him from thinking about food. During this time, Lopez made a commitment to live for Jesus and have a deeper relationship with God.
When he was 15 years old, Lopez watched the 2000 Sydney Olympics from an old TV in the camp. From that moment a dream sparked in Lopez to one day become an Olympian. But it seemed an impossible dream under his current circumstances, so he just put it into God’s hands.
By the next year 2001, a miracle happened! Lopez was adopted by an American couple Bob and Barbara Rodgers who brought him to America.
While in high school he excelled in Athletics and by 2008, he qualified for the 2008 Summer Olympics. God made Lopez’s impossible dream to come true and today he is a celebrated American Olympic star. His amazing story is captured in the book “Running for My Life’.

The decision to seek God, despite the hopelessness of his situation ultimately changed the story of Lopez Lomong.
When you put your dreams into God’s hands, nothing can be impossible for you to achieve. God will go ahead of you to destroy the barriers and turn your obstacles to miracles.
When you involve God in your endeavors and seek to follow His plans, you will become unstoppable. Adversities will turn around to advance you and problems will propel you forward.
The truth is that all you need in life to succeed is your strong connection to the Holy Spirit. It’s not what you have, but Who you have that matters. And when God is with you, nothing and no one can be against you.
Today, you may look around you and feel limited by your current circumstances, but never forget that one with God is majority. You serve the God who controls all flesh: and there is nothing too hard for Him to accomplish in your life. [Jeremiah 32:27].
Therefore do not limit yourself or allow your circumstances to weigh you down. In these last days of the year, as you launch deeper in seeking the Holy Spirit, get ready for an eruption of miracles. With God’s help, you will experience 11th hour sudden breakthroughs, open doors, promotions, great opportunities and unending blessings.

PRAYER: Lord, I know with You nothing shall be impossible. Please help me to fervently seek You so that I can possess the faith to experience 11th hour miracles in this season in Jesus Name. .

The oak is designated the National Tree in at least 14 countries around the world. The reason for this is because the oak tree is recognized globally as a symbol of strength.
The strength of the oak was displayed when Hurricane Harvey hit Texas and Louisiana in August 2017. This hurricane caused catastrophic flooding and inflicted $125 billion in damages, making it the costliest natural disaster recorded in Texas at the time.
In the town of Rockport, Texas the hurricane destroyed many buildings and trees. But amazingly a 1,100-year-old oak tree survived this onslaught and was left standing at the Goose Island State Park. This old oak tree has survived many such hurricanes.
The survival of this ancient oak is not surprising because oaks are known to withstand incredibly strong storms. Even when they are stripped of their leaves, oak trees survive because of their strength, their curvy branches, and their incredible root systems.
Perhaps the most interesting fact about the oaks is that their root systems will grow to almost the same depth as their height, pushing down as deep as the tree is high, and branching out as wide as the branches! This dynamic strength and tenacity of its root system keeps the oak firmly grounded and stable even in the midst of the greatest storms.

Just as the oak develops deep roots, we must build a deep relationship with the Holy Spirit in order to survive life’s storms.
A hidden season of building deep spiritual roots strengthens us to attain great height in life. In the life of David for instance, we saw how God first prepared him in a hidden season before taking him to the throne. In this hidden season of his life, David learned to trust God as his strong refuge.
First building great faith that gives us spiritual establishment is crucial to our success in life..
Spiritual preparation determines the results you get in the physical because the physical is controlled by the spiritual.
You become a champion by adequate spiritual preparation.
2 Chronicles 27:6 says ‘So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the LORD his God.’
Successful seasons of preparation involve times of separation spent in deep studying of God’s Word and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. The depth of our relationship with God, will determine the height of our success in life.
In this season as we keep going deeper in our relationship with the Holy Spirit and seek greater spiritual understanding, we will certainly become outstanding and be a marvel to our world.

PRAYER: Lord, Please help me to build deep spiritual roots through diligent study of Your Word and fervent prayers so that I can become prepared for the great heights of destiny You have foreordained for me in Jesus Name.

Stanley Frodsham is author of the book, “Smith Wigglesworth, Apostle of Faith’.
In this book, he tells an interesting incident that happened one day when Smith Wigglesworth boarded a train to South Wales. Wigglesworth always tried to maintain communion with the Holy Spirit wherever he went.. So while on this journey he engaged in praying quietly and communicating with the Spirit.
The carriage where he sat contained other passengers who were engaged in various conversations. Though he wanted to preach to them, there was so much talking and joking that Wigglesworth seemed unable to find an opportunity to share the Gospel.
As the train was finally nearing the station, Wigglesworth stood up and went to the convenience to wash his hands. As he returned back to his seat, a man jumped up and said, ‘Sir, you convince me of sin,’. On saying this the man fell on his knees. Soon the other people in the carriage also began crying out the same way.
They asked Wigglesworth ‘Who are you? What are you? You convince us all of sin’…”
Wigglesworth had not said a word to these people, yet while he had been praying quietly throughout the journey, the Holy Spirit had gone to work to bring them under divine conviction and make them ready to receive salvation.
Such amazing miracles marked Smith Wigglesworth’s life and ministry because of the depth of his communion with the Holy Spirit.

When we accept spiritual responsibility of maintaining sweet fellowship with the Holy Spirit, our lives will be filled with His power.
Wherever you go, even without saying a word, the power of the Spirit will begin to announce us and impact the people around us.
However, there is a price to pay to see such manifestation of God’s power in our lives. It requires commitment to a lifestyle of fervent prayers, purity, study of the Word and fellowship with the Spirit.
Certainly, those who make such spiritual deposits, are those who can make withdrawals of miracles, signs and wonders.
When we pray the price of becoming more spiritually fervent, there will be an eruption of mighty signs and wonders in our lives that will make us stand out wherever we go.
To see unusual miracles and impact in the season we must be willing to go deeper in our relationship with the Holy Spirit .
Everyone that God has used to manifest His power has always been a man or woman of spiritual fervency.
God works within us, before He can work through us. He will cleanse, purge and purify us with His fire, before His power will flow through us to affect the world around us.
Today, as we sincerely make the decision to go deeper in our spiritual life, we will see an amazing eruption of God’s power, that will turn us into a wonder to all.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for igniting fresh fire and fervency in me. Please help me to pay the necessary spiritual price so that I can experience an eruption of Your power and miracles in my life in Jesus Name

Isabella Baumfree made history as the first Black woman to win a legal victory against a white man in the United States:
She was born in 1797 to parents who were black slaves in New York.
At age 13, Isabella was sold to a wicked slave master. At 18 years, she was forced to marry another slave and bore five children. When the Anti-Slavery Law emancipating slaves was proclaimed, her master refused to grant her freedom. So Isabella escaped with her little daughter, leaving the other four children behind. She was taken in by a white Christian couple who helped to lead her to Christ.
When Isabella’s former Master illegally sold her five-year-old son into slavery, she filed a lawsuit against him. She made history by winning the case and regaining custody of her son.
Isabella’s zeal to preach the truth of the Gospel made het change her name to ‘Sojourner Truth’.
Though she never learned to read or write, her preaching impacted great audience. Her speeches against slavery were published in the newspapers and she was even invited by President Abraham Lincoln to the White House. From an unknown black slave, Isabella would become one of the best known abolitionists and women’s rights advocates in world history.

In an era when black women had no civil rights, Isabella changed the law through her exercise of faith.
Certainly, through Christ we can break barriers and break forth to great accomplishments.
Empowered by the Spirit we can run through a troop; and leap over insurmountable walls (Psalms 18:29).
You may be surrounded by impossibilities today, but through connection to the Holy Spirit, you will become indefatigable.
No matter the barriers and limitations on your path, through Christ you will eventually emerge a winner and more than a conqueror.
In these last days of the year, we must refuse to be complacent, because the spiritually violent take their portion by force. Therefore we must become fervent and make demands for the release of any hanging blessings. This is our season to see the manifestation of any prophetic word for this year that is yet to be fulfilled.
As we press into greater depths of the Spirit, it will be our time to experience unusual grace and favor.
The force of the Spirit will propel us to inexplicable 11th hour miracles.
By drawing closer to God, we will certainly break forth to greater levels in our health, business, career, family, relationships, and every area of our lives.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for birthing in me the strength and tenacity to keep pressing forward in the Spirit until I truly experience the fulfillment of the prophetic agenda for my life this year in Jesus Name.

NOVEMBER 21; DWELL IN THE DEPTHS OF THE SPIRIT!

The white-tailed deer is a favorite prey of many wild animals, including, lions, coyotes, bobcats and gray wolves.
To survive and escape these formidable predators, the white-tailed deer has learned to use different tactics. Some of its methods of escape include explosive sprints at speeds of up to 30 mph and jumping as high as 8 feet. It can also slink away on its belly, crisscross its own paths to create a confusing trail or run to the water.
The deer loves running to the water when being chased by its enemies.
In the water, it has a good advantage because of its ability to swim well and lose its scent.
The deer will run into the water and keep going deeper until it gets to the point where its pursuers can no longer follow. Inside the deep water, the deer would hide by submerging itself and leaving only its nose on the surface like a snorkel to enable it breath. Because of the risk of drowning many wild animals would not pursue the deer into deep waters. But if the predator still stubbornly persists in its pursuit, then the deer would use the deep water to its advantage by kicking and thrashing until the predator finally drowns or swims away wounded.

When we launch into the depths of the Spirit, we are in a place of divine advantage. The deep rivers of the Spirit is where no enemy can pursue us to.
When pharaoh and his army tried to follow Israel into the Red Sea they drowned in the depths.
Exodus 14::28 says ‘And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.”

Our guarantee of escape from the Pharaohs of our destinies is to go deeper spiritually through increased prayers, worship and study of the Word. In times of challenges, instead of worrying or complaining, spend extra time in seeking the Holy Spirit..
No matter the attacks that come against you there’s a depth you can go in the Spirit where you become untouchables. The deeper our roots in God, the greater strength and tenacity we will display in life’s battles. Through a strong relationship with the Holy Spirit, we will always emerge victorious from any trial.
In these perilous times, to escape becoming the prey of the wicked we must pray and diligently study the Word. Fight your enemies from a point of divine advantage by being spiritually fervent at all times. While it is true life’s battle has no timetable, you can plan to triumph always by staying spiritually prepared.
You can never be a victim when your heart daily pants after God’s Word as the deer pants after the water, (Psalm 42;1-2).
The deeper you go into the Word, the more faith will arise in your heart and the more the victory you will have.
Today, as we launch deeper in our relationship with the Holy Spirit, this will certainly be our season of unstoppable victories and breaking forth to glorious dimensions in every area of our lives.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for making me more spiritually fervent. Please help me to go deeper in seeking You until I become covered by Your glory and triumph over every enemy in Jesus Name.

In October 2006, Angela Fannin received devastating news! Her doctors told her she had bone cancer and had only six months to live. A Stage three multiple myeloma had spread to every bone in her body and the only hope was a bone marrow transplant.
In the weeks that followed, Angela’s health rapidly deteriorated and she could no longer eat or swallow and was throwing up constantly. Though she was the wife of pastor Jerone Fannin of Greater Poplar Springs Baptist Church, Angela lacked the faith to believe for her healing.
Despite being raised in the Church and married to a pastor, Angela had never accepted Jesus as her savior. Now, as her health got worse and she faced certain death, she had to finally admit that she might not make it to Heaven.
At that point she came to repent and began crying out to God for mercy. After rededicating her life to Christ, by the next day, something amazing happened. The doctors discovered that she had zero cancer count. Her blood was tested in three different labs and all resulted in zero cancer count.
The doctors were amazed but Angela attributed her healing to God’s amazing power. Later, speaking in an interview with 700 club, she said that her near-death experience woke her up spiritually and caused her to draw closer to Christ.

The truth is that shallow believers will find it difficult to stay afloat in life’s troubled waters. Those who “play Church” soon find themselves in a defenseless position because they lack the shield of faith that quenches the enemy’s fiery darts.
Launching into a deeper relationship with God is what guarantees victory in life’s battles. When we truly love God and our hearts pant after Him, we will receive speedy Heavenly intervention in times of trouble.
Jesus died to redeem us from a life of defeat to an abundant life of triumphing always.
As we align with His will, we will receive health in the place of sickness, joy in the place of sorrow, and beauty in the place of ashes.
Today, by the power in the Blood of Jesus, let us receive the grace to move away from lukewarm Christianity to deeper intimacy with the Holy Spirit. As we do, it will mark the end of every negativity in our lives.. We will receive health and cure, and enjoy the abundance of peace (Jeremiah 33:6:)
Because better is the end of a matter than the beginning, in these last days of the year we will experience overflow of divine health, favor, abundance, joy, peace, and manifestations of every hanging blessing in our lives.

PRAYER: Lord, please grant me the grace, to build a strong relationship with You by spending quality time in Your Presence daily. Surely by the power in the Blood, I will keep triumphing always in Jesus Name.

Promise Keepers is an International Christian organization for men co-founded by James Ryle.
When James was only six years old, his father was sent to prison for armed robbery. Thereafter his mother sent him to an orphan’s home in Dallas.
In that orphanage, he suffered a lot of abuse and cruelty.
At 17 years of age, James left the orphanage and began fending for himself. But he got into trouble with the law when he was charged with negligent homicide and possession of marijuana. Faced with the possibility of up to 20 years in prison, James began seeking God for help and decided to turn over his life to Christ. Miraculously his sentence was reduced to only two years. While in the prison James began seeking to know God more and started studying the Bible. Another miracle occured when he received an early release from prison. After he became free, James went into ministry and was eventually appointed the pastor of Bethel Fellowship Church in Boulder, Colorado. Several years later he became co-founder of Promise Keepers and also became a best-selling author and public speaker.

The turnaround power of the Holy Spirit can change anyone’s life story.
It doesn’t matter how rough or tough things may seem, we are guaranteed victory as long as we invite the Spirit to take over our battles. Despite the pains, setbacks and trials, through the power of Christ, we can experience restoration and renewal.
Life is not always fair, but when it seems you have every reason to feel discouraged, always remember that God has another season. He is a game changer!
You may have gone through the fire of afflictions, but that is not your final destination, there is still something greater waiting ahead of you.
As a child of God, though you may sometimes pass through the water and fire, you are destined to come into your wealthy place. (Psalm 66:12).
Redemption has repositioned you for constant victory. As you stay strong in faith giving glory to God, you will surely triumph always.
Today, if you are facing any challenge keep your hope in Christ. By His grace, the rest of this year, shall be the best of its days for you because God will crown it with good things. In this season, the resurrection power in the Blood  of Jesus will bring complete reversal and restoration and turn every mourning into dancing for us!

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You that by the turnaround power of the Holy Spirit at work in my life, I am about to see positive changes and enjoy divine speed and progress in these remaining days of this year in Jesus Name.

James Hudson Taylor was one of the greatest preachers of the 19th century who served as the first missionary to the interior of China.
Hudson Taylor was very young when he heard the call into ministry. Believing he could get wise counsel from those older in the Faith, he told his pastor about his vision to serve in China.
But his pastor didn’t take him seriously and told him he would soon outgrow the idea of being a missionary to China.
Very discouraged by his pastor’s words, Hudson decided he would no longer seek the opinion of any man, but rather trust solely in God.
From then on he began fervently seeking the counsel of the Holy Spirit. Faithfully, God guided him and miraculously provided the funds he needed for the trip.
When Hudson finally arrived in China, he faced horrendous challenges as he saw the idolatry and superstition in the land. But through depending utterly upon the Holy Spirit, Hudson was marvelously helped in his assignment. He did mighty exploits in China and helped to plant many churches. He founded the China Inland Mission which was responsible for bringing over 800 missionaries to China and began 125 schools, which resulted in the conversion of thousands of Chinese people.

Whatever area we are called by God to serve, we can only succeed by relying totally on the Holy Spirit.
Through His divine help, we will excel in our assignment against all ofds.

Psalms 118:8 says ” It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.”

Looking to a man to help or encourage you, may lead to gross disappointment.
Psalms 108:12 says ” for vain is the help of man.
It is only through the help of the Holy Spirit that we can excel in our divine vision and mission.
Therefore, our best preparation for success in our endeavor is our spiritual preparation. We do this through seeking God in studying the Word, fasting, prayers and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Rather than looking to men for help, it will be better for us to spend more time in seeking the face of God.
When we trust in the LORD, we become like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. (Psalm 125:1)
As we put our trust in the Lord, we will become, immovable and unstoppable. By making God our sole focus, we will never be stranded on the journey of destiny.
At every crossroad, the Holy Spirit will show us the right direction to take. And as we obey, the lines will fall for us in pleasant places. Our paths will keep shining brighter and brighter and everything will work together for our good.
Today, as we walk in deeper fellowship with the Holy Spirit, we will surely enjoy His divine help and mighty manifestations of power that will crown this year with good things and enable us to finish strong and well.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to commit to a closer walk with You in this season. As I do, please guide me by Your Spirit into the great things You have in store for me in Jesus Name. .

By 17 years old, Katie Souza was on the air, with CBS television, pursuing her dream of fame and success.
Acting and modeling opportunities followed, but a drug addiction that began in her teens threatened everything Katie was striving for. Becsuse of her addiction She lost an important acting role with Universal Studios.
That was like her last blow. Thereafter she fell face first into crime, and became a full-time drug seller. She was arrested 12 times in one year for multiple felonies. Finally, she was arrested on federal charges for conspiracy, manufacturing narcotics and weapons violations. She was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
During her years behind bars, Katie reached her breaking point and cried out to God for help.
Katie prayed to become a Christian. The only book in the whole place was the Bible. So she picked it up and began reading through it. As she read, the Holy Spirit began to point out Scriptures about the people of ancient Israelites who went through captivity but were brought out of bondage by God’s power. Katie, realized that it was like her own story.
Soon she began teaching other inmates what she was learning from the Holy Spirit and raised a fellowship group in the prison.
After serving five years of her thirteen-year sentence, Katie won her appeal and was released early.
Today, she is an international minister of the Gospel who teaches a worldwide audience.

As Christians we are called to be overcomers. We are “not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our mind” (Romans 12:2). Christianity is meant to be a lifetime of transforming our thoughts and mind to become like Jesus Christ.
But none of us can truly overcome without the help of the Spirit.
We must therefore allow the Spirit to become the guiding force in our lives .
without His power we can have no real victory in life.
It is because the Spirit dwells in us that we are called the children of God (Romans 8:14-17).
The Holy Spirit keeps us in contact with God’s mind and helps us to have a deeper comprehension of the Word. When Jesus promised the apostles He would send the Holy Spirit to them, He said the Spirit would “guide [them] into all truth” (John 16:13).
The Holy Spirit guides us through the rough pathways of life to the colorful future that awaits us. Romans 8:26 tells us that God’s Spirit helps us in our weaknesses, and through Him we can do all things.
Without reliance on the Spirit a Christian will be trapped in the fleshly life of defeat and constant struggles with sin and temptations.
But through the Holy Spirit we overcome every sin, addiction, shortcomings and eventually break forth to the glorious destiny preordained for us

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to develop a deeper relationship with the Spirit so that He can enable me to overcome any struggle with sin and truly become Christlike in all I do in Jesus Name.

In 1828, Charles Finney held one of the greatest revivals in history in Rochester, New York.
However, Finney almost missed holding this revival because of his personal misgivings.
When he first received the invitation to preach at a Presbyterian Church in Rochester, New York Finney chose not to go because he knew there had been considerable division and controversy in that church.
But having a habit of praying over invitations, he called some friends to pray with him over the matter. His friends were unanimous in the opinion that he should not go to Rochester. But after they had gone, Finney felt strongly impressed upon by the Spirit that the difficulties at the church in Rochester was the very reason why he should go there.
Choosing to obey the Holy Spirit, Finney then went to Rochester.
When he arrived there, and began to hold crusades, great revival swept through the town. It turned out to become the greatest revival of Finney’s life. There were over 100,000 salvations in only six months and eventually almost every person in the town got saved and started going to church. The revival was so intense that the people lost interest in worldly things, The only theater in town closed because no one went anymore. The only beer joint in town closed too and the courthouses were virtually empty because there were hardly offenders.

Life often presents us with many options and different paths but God alone knows the best direction for us to follow. This is why it is important to consult Him before any major decision.
It can be tempting to follow our own understanding or adhere to the advice of others. But Proverbs 3:5 tells us to trust in the Lord with all our heart, and not to lean on our own understanding.
Life becomes easier when we simply follow the voice of the Spirit.
Because we live in a world where our perception is dominated by physical senses, our spirit man needs to be trained to become more sensitive to God’s voice.
Increased spiritual sensitivity comes through a lifestyle of fervent prayers, worship, fasting and in-depth study of the Word.
In these last days of the year, we will make speedy progress and move with precision by deciding to follow divine promptings in our affairs.
As we habitually subject our decisions to prayers,
God will show us great and mighty things. [Jeremiah 33:3]. And through His divine guidance, we will avoid mistakes and not miss our kairos moments.
Through reliance on the Holy Spirit, this will certainly be our season of sudden open doors, amazing breakthroughs and inexplicably breaking forth to glorious new dimensions.

PRAYER Lord, Please lead me into a deeper walk with Your Spirit. Help me to become more spiritually sensitive so as not to miss my Kairos moments in Jesus Name.
