The white-tailed deer is a favorite prey of many wild animals, including, lions, coyotes, bobcats and gray wolves.
To survive and escape these formidable predators, the white-tailed deer has learned to use different tactics. Some of its methods of escape include explosive sprints at speeds of up to 30 mph and jumping as high as 8 feet. It can also slink away on its belly, crisscross its own paths to create a confusing trail or run to the water.
The deer loves running to the water when being chased by its enemies.
In the water, it has a good advantage because of its ability to swim well and lose its scent.
The deer will run into the water and keep going deeper until it gets to the point where its pursuers can no longer follow. Inside the deep water, the deer would hide by submerging itself and leaving only its nose on the surface like a snorkel to enable it breath. Because of the risk of drowning many wild animals would not pursue the deer into deep waters. But if the predator still stubbornly persists in its pursuit, then the deer would use the deep water to its advantage by kicking and thrashing until the predator finally drowns or swims away wounded.

When we launch into the depths of the Spirit, we are in a place of divine advantage. The deep rivers of the Spirit is where no enemy can pursue us to.
When pharaoh and his army tried to follow Israel into the Red Sea they drowned in the depths.
Exodus 14::28 says ‘And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.”

Our guarantee of escape from the Pharaohs of our destinies is to go deeper spiritually through increased prayers, worship and study of the Word. In times of challenges, instead of worrying or complaining, spend extra time in seeking the Holy Spirit..
No matter the attacks that come against you there’s a depth you can go in the Spirit where you become untouchables. The deeper our roots in God, the greater strength and tenacity we will display in life’s battles. Through a strong relationship with the Holy Spirit, we will always emerge victorious from any trial.
In these perilous times, to escape becoming the prey of the wicked we must pray and diligently study the Word. Fight your enemies from a point of divine advantage by being spiritually fervent at all times. While it is true life’s battle has no timetable, you can plan to triumph always by staying spiritually prepared.
You can never be a victim when your heart daily pants after God’s Word as the deer pants after the water, (Psalm 42;1-2).
The deeper you go into the Word, the more faith will arise in your heart and the more the victory you will have.
Today, as we launch deeper in our relationship with the Holy Spirit, this will certainly be our season of unstoppable victories and breaking forth to glorious dimensions in every area of our lives.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for making me more spiritually fervent. Please help me to go deeper in seeking You until I become covered by Your glory and triumph over every enemy in Jesus Name.
