One day in April 2014, 10-year-old Willie Myrick came out to his front yard in Atlanta, and saw money on the ground. Curios, he bent over to pick up the money, but he did not know it was a trap. Suddenly from nowhere, a man grabbed him, threw him into a car, locked the door and zoomed off. It was then Willie realized that he had been kidnapped. As he tried to scream, the man warned him not to make a single sound. Willie then resorted to praise. He began to sing the popular song by Hezekiah walker ‘Every praise.” As Willie sang, the kidnapper started cursing and yelling at him to shut up. But the little boy refused, he continued singing. Willie sang the song repeatedly for about three hours, until the man got sick of hearing it. Finally he came down, flung open the door, threw Willie out of his car, and drove off. Willie then ran to a nearby home and asked for help. His family was located and he was able to go back home. When the News media reported the story, it caught the attention of Grammy Award-winning Gospel singer Hezekiah Walker. He flew from New York City to Atlanta to personally meet Willie. He honored the little boy by specially performing “Every Praise” in Willie’s home Church.

Anytime you feel trapped or outnumbered, fight your battles with praise. In the face of negative circumstances, start glorifying God and declaring Him mighty. As you do so, God is going to surround whatever is surrounding you. He is going to destroy every bondage and deliver you from every captivity.
The ‘sacrifice of praise’ means deliberately refusing to acknowledge whatever the devil may be doing and exalting God for who He is and what He is able to do.
That kind of praise gets Heaven’s attention and attracts the prison-breaking, earth-quaking power of God. It was this kind of praise that delivered Paul and Silas. As they sang praises to God with loud voices, their chains fell off and the prison doors flung open.
You can praise your way out of any tight corner. You can wear down the enemy with your continual declaration of God’s faithfulness. The truth is that the enemy cannot stand your praise. When he thinks he has you trapped, keep praising God, and sooner or later he is going to have to let go. If you are being confronted by the enemies of affliction, sickness, poverty or evil attacks, and the problem continues to linger then switch to praise. In Psalms 27:5-6 God promises to deliver us in the times of trouble and it takes praise to bring His Presence into our battles. Surely today, as we give God worthy praise, every enemy shall be overcome and our battlefields will turn into our blessing fields.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to continually Praise You, despite any challenge I may face today. As Your Presence becomes my habitation, surely, my victory is guaranteed over every enemy of my glorious destiny in Jesus Name.

The pilgrims were among the earliest settlers in America. Originally they were a group of fervent Christians whose refusal to follow the traditional practices of the Church of England resulted in severe persecution. Eventually 102 pilgrims fled from England and sailed across the harsh ocean to a newly discovered land that would later become known as Massachusetts. Before they could build proper dwellings there came a terrible winter season that killed almost half of them. Although their hearts were heavy from these losses, the pilgrims chose to thank God for those that survived, knowing that all could have easily died.
God’s mercies did prevail and the Pilgrims miraculously met an Indian named Squanto who had lived in Europe and could speak good English. He was especially helpful in teaching them how to survive in the new land. Few months later, their situations changed for good. They began to prosper as the land yielded bountiful harvests.
In November of that year, they invited their Indian neighbors to a three day feast to thank God. This would become known as the first thanksgiving celebration in America. The pilgrim’s willingness to trust God and depend on His grace, helped them to become established in the new land that would later expand into the great Nation of America.

It doesn’t matter what you think you may have lost, when you thank God for what is left He will surely multiply it beyond your wildest expectation.
To feed five thousand men, Jesus had just five loaves and two fishes, but when He lifted up the little that was available in thanksgiving to God, great multiplication came.
The truth is that if you have lost anything God is the reason why you have not lost everything. Perhaps some things you expected this year may not have come to you yet. Instead of complaining, thank God for what you already have. When you thank God for His finger, He will unveil His arm to you. Thanksgiving is a multiplier. Do not let any situation rob you of your thanksgiving. When the one leper came back to thank Jesus, his healing was perfected.
Through thanksgiving, anything still resisting your breaking-forth testimony this year will be terminated.
By the power in the Blood of Jesus, as we engage in high praises this month, all enemies of our progress will be ambushed and smitten [2 Chronicles 20:22-23]
Through our breakthrough praise we will surely break forth to a season of supernatural victories, inexplicable promotions and unprecedented testimonies.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to praise You despite any situation. You are forever faithful and I know that indeed all things are working out together for my good in Jesus Name.

Priscilla Marie Winans also known as CeCe Winans, was only 8 years old when her parents insisted she sing her first solo. The song was ‘Fill My Cup, Lord.’ But she was so nervous that she began crying in the middle of the song. It was an embarrassing performance, but her parents encouraged her not to give up. They persuaded her to continue singing and made her understand praise was a ministry that God had given her. Cece’s love for God and the desire to praise Him made her to eventually overcome her shyness and self-consciousness.
When she and her brother Bebe, were asked to be a part of a Christian TV network group of singers, in Charlotte, North Carolina, it marked a turning point in their lives. It was the birth of the Bebe and Cece duo.
From there Cece rose to prominence and launched an acclaimed solo career. Her music ministry has earned her many Awards, including 15 Grammy awards. Today, CeCe Winans is the most-awarded Gospel artist of all time, and the best-selling Gospel act of all time.

When we love God and desire to bring Him glory, we position ourselves for explosive blessings. Though your beginning may have been small, your later end shall greatly increase.
If you are a genuine worshipper of God, never limit or underrate what can do with your life. You may look at yourself and see a ‘nobody’, but God looks at you and sees a ‘somebody’.
People saw David as a mere shepherd boy, but because of his love for God, there was a throne reserved for him. It doesn’t matter how you may feel about yourself, what matters is what God thinks about you. And He says the thoughts He thinks towards you are thoughts of good and not of evil to give you an expected end. The expected end God has foreordained for you is a glorious one.
It doesn’t matter how you may have started this year, according to God’s plan, you will surely end it well.
Though the enemy may have tried to derail your progress, God is committed to ensuring you finish well and strong. Therefore let us cooperate with His purpose by walking in obedience to His Word.
God’s Word tells us that in everything we should give thanks. So, despite any discouraging circumstance around us today, let us keep blessing the Lord and keep praising Him. As we do, the earth will yield its increase to us, God will bless us and all the ends of the earth shall see it. [Psalm 67:5-7]

PRAYER: Lord, please help to stop worrying about my circumstances. I know that by Your grace I am heading for a glorious conclusion of this year. Thank You for enabling me to finish well and strong in Jesus Name.

DECEMBER 2; CELEBRATING GOD’S FAITHFULNES!

One of the most beloved hymns of all times is “Great Is Thy Faithfulness”. It was written by Thomas Chisholm, while the music was composed by William M. Runyan. These two men had personal testimonies of experiencing God’s faithfulness in the midst of life’s trials.
William Runyan was a Methodist minister and traveling evangelist, who after years of service began to gradually lose his voice and could no longer preach as he used to. Runyan didn’t complain but praised God in his situation, he began working on a hymnal project to promote Gospel songs.
One of the people who became greatly interested in Runyan’s project was a Methodist pastor named Thomas Chisholm, whose health problems had forced him to resign from his pastorate. Despite his condition, Thomas chose to bless God and focused on writing hymns of praise. One of the poems he wrote was titled, ‘Great is Thy Faithfulness.’ When he mailed it to Runyan’s hymnal project, Runyan loved this poem and soon composed a befitting music for it.

In 1923, Thomas and William came together to work on producing the song “Great Is Thy Faithfulness.”
When it was finally presented to the public it became instantly loved. This song eventually brought personal success and fame to Thomas and William. Their desire to praise and glorify God despite their trials ended up penning their manes in history and has caused them to be celebrated for many generations.

No doubt, this year has been quite challenging for many people. But for us as believers, we have continually seen God’s faithfulness. We have flourished in hard times and by the Lord’s mercies we have not been consumed
Jeremiah was known as the “weeping prophet” and in Lamentations 3:19–24, he grieves over the destruction of Jerusalem by Babylon. But after his lamentations, he concludes with a hymn of praise and says ‘It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.’

While others may sing songs of lamentations over this year, for us, we are concluding it with songs of praise. Despite the worsening economic conditions, social instability, financial woes, and all the peculiar problems of this year; God has shown Himself faithful again and again. He has given us victories in battles, turned obstacles to miracles, given us breakthroughs in the place of breakdowns and caused us to soar instead of sinking.
This month of December, is a good time to look back to count our blessings and recount the goodness of God. It is our time to continually give God worthy praise and celebrate His faithfulness.
According to Psalm 65:11-13, God crowns the year with good things. Therefore in this last month of ‘Deckember” let us expect to be decked with glorious new colors. It is the better end of the matter, where we will see beauty in the place of ashes and keep breaking forth from glory to greater glory.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for You have indeed been very good and faithful to me! As I praise You today, I know You are set to do yet more amazing things in my life in this crowning month of the year in Jesus Name.

As the year rounds up, the echo of different News Headlines can be heard from around the world. Unfortunately many of these headlines are negative. For instance in November, while there were encouraging news such as a successful US election, most other major global headlines were negative. One of these is the rising violence and death tolls in Sudan due to the outbreak of the conflict in April 2023 which has resulted in one of the biggest displacement crises globally. More than half of the population in Sudan – close to 25 million people – are in need of humanitarian aid.
Other major news of this year has been escalations of violence in the middle East in the war between Israel and its enemies, additionally the war between Russia and Ukraine remains ongoing.
Also news of extreme weather events such as wildfires and floods are becoming more frequent and extreme across the world due to the worsening climate crisis. Rising conflict and violence across Africa’s region is weakening the economy and leading to worsening living conditions.
Apart from these major headlines there has also been several unfortunate international incidences of terrorist attacks, kidnappings , mass shootings etc.

While these negative things are taking place in the world, on the contrary many believers can testify that God has been good to us this year. Indeed it seems while darkness prevailed in Egypt, we as God’s people in Goshen, have been dwelling in the light. Somehow God has preserved us from evil and blessed us on every side.
Certainly we have every reason to be grateful to God. This is why as we come into this last month of the year, we must deliberately look back and say ‘Father thank You’.
There is so much to thank God for. We thank Him for protection, for provision, guidance, for His grace that endures and for His help. Indeed if it had not been for The Lord on our side, where would we be?
Through the Blood of Jesus we have been preserved.
As we come into the new month of December today, we must be intentional in wholeheartedly celebrating our God. We must bless Him at all times and in every situation remain thankful, praise-full and joyful. This is our season to sing our way into miraculous breakthroughs and sudden divine turnarounds.
Isaiah 54:1 prescribes joyful singing as the cure for barrenness and unfruitfulness. Therefore in this month of December, as we engage the mystery of high praises, we will surely move up to our high places and truly break forth to glorious new dimensions.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for bringing me to the new month of December today. Please help me to remain joyful and keep praising You in the remaining days of this year so as to ride upon my high places in Jesus Name.

Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, in the 1930s and ’40s in a family where preaching was a family tradition. Almost all the men in his family history were pastors. His father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather had all been preachers. Even his only brother was a preacher, including some of his uncles.. When Martin Luther also became a preacher, he found himself surrounded by people of faith from where he could always draw spiritual strength and wisdom. So somehow, Christianity became to him an inherited religion and he was less reliant on his own personal relationship with God.
However, things changed when he was appointed as spokesman for the black community in the fight against segregation. When he began to receive hate phone calls from white racists, threatening his life and that of his family, Martin Luther realized he could no longer continue to rely spiritually on his family. To survive the battles coming against him, he needed to deeply develop his own personal faith in God. One night he fervently sought God’s face and prayed like never before until he had a definite spiritual encounter with God that gave him inner peace and assurance. Thus with confidence and boldness he was able to go forth to play the crucial role that he did in the fight against segregation. His exceptional faith and resilience made him to become one of the most celebrated black leaders in American history.

There are some battles in life that no one can fight for you. Others may help you with their prayers and their faith to a certain point, but a time comes when it will be your decision to either sink or sail. We all need to intimately build our own personal relationship with Christ for inner strength, peace and assurance in troubled times.
Presently, the world is passing through perilous times.
If all your focus is on the increasing economic woes or disturbing global News headlines, then you are going to eventually lose your peace. Many people are already living in fear and anxiety. Constantly seeking God’s face, is what will anchor our hearts at this time when men’s hearts are failing them for fear of the things that are coming to pass in the earth.
Through Christ we are guaranteed peace in the midst of the world’s tribulations. [John 16:33]. He is our Prince of peace and our ever present help in times of trouble.. Indeed He is our bridge over the troubled waters.
Having come to the end of this month we have every cause to be thankful because God continues to keep us with His peace that passes understanding.
Today, as we draw the curtain on the month of November, let us deliberately appreciate God for His many blessings that are crowning this year for us with good things. By His grace and mercy we will not end this year in shame. Rather we will end it in a multiplied state of truly breaking forth on every side.

PRAYER: Father please grant me a renewed appetite for Your Word and fervent prayers so that I can build a more intimate relationship with You and have the faith to enjoy continual victory at all times in Jesus Name.

Eagles brood once each year and the average clutch or group of eggs an eagle lays is between one and three eggs. And after it is laid, the egg must be constantly kept warm, or incubated, and protected from predators. The female eagle typically spends more time on the nest while the male does most of the hunting to provide food for the female. However what is really interesting about the mother eagle is how faithfully she sits and waits for 35 days before the egg hatches. Incubation period for bald eagles is about 35 days. And for golden eagles, it is between 40-45 days. For those number of days, the eagle sits patiently, waiting for the egg to hatch. As she waits, outwardly there is no movement nor sign that anything is happening within the eggs. The mother eagle never feels the baby kick, nor sees the egg grow larger, like happens in human pregnancy, yet she patiently waits. After many days of no sign of life, suddenly on the 35th day, something begins to happen! There’s a pecking sound from within the egg, and before long it hatches a healthy little eaglet.

God’s promises are birthed in our lives, similar to how an eagle hatches her eggs. As we await the manifestation of the promise, we have to believe something is happening even when we can’t see it. Even though there is no outward sign it will ever come to pass, we are going to have to sit on that promise, believing, expecting, praying, thanking, God for its manifestation.
If you have promises this year that you are holding on to,. continue to believe God’s Word against all the odds. Certainly, what God has said concerning you, He is able to make it good. [Numbers 23:19].
What God started in your life this year, He is able to complete it. You have to trust the process that births the promise. Trust that all things are working for your good because you love God. We have to walk by faith and not by sight. And by faith we have to call those things that be not as though they were. Like the Israelites, we have to keep marching around the wall of Jericho, though there is no sign yet that it is going to fall. Keep thanking God for that situation, even though it looks like, it is not improving. Keep speaking prophetically because the clouds are filling up with rain. As long as you remain strong in faith, giving glory to God, it is only a matter of time before you break forth to the glorious fulfillment of this year’s prophetic agenda in your life.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to walk by faith and not by sight. By the help of Your Spirit I know I shall surely arrive at Your glorious destination for me this year in Jesus Name. .

In the 1940’s, in the isolated jungle villages of Peru, lived a warrior chief, named Tariri. He was the most feared headhunter in Peru, famous for taking the heads of his enemies and shrinking them. He especially hated white foreigners.
In 1946 Wycliffe Bible Translators developed a central jungle base in Peru and sent two females, Lorrie Anderson and Doris Cox, to the territory ruled by Chief Tariri. As these young women embarked on their dangerous journey, they trusted in the Holy Spirit to guide them and make their mission prosperous.
When they arrived and met Chief Tariri, something happened that softened his hardened heart.
Instead of addressing him as ‘great warrior’ or ‘your highness’, the women called him ‘brother’ in the little native language they knew. The fact that they called him ‘brother’, made the savage chief to feei traditionally obligated to help them. Miraculously, instead of harming these young women, he took them as sisters and protected them and gave them permission to preach the Gospel among his people. Through their efforts, Chief Tariri himself became converted to Christianity. He later said to the Wycliffe directors, “Had you sent two men, we would have killed them. Had you sent a man and wife, we would have killed the man and kept the woman for a wife. You sent two young women, calling me ‘brother.’ I had to protect them.”

By divine guidance, these young women spoke the very words that melted the heart of a savage chief. Through reliance on the Holy Spirit their mission was made prosperous.
In our ministry, business, career, education, family, relationships etc, we will succeed when we are led by the Spirit of God.
Our progress in life depends on our obedience to His counsel. When you are guided you cannot be grounded. When the Lord is your Shepherd, He will lead you to your green pastures.
In Exodus 23:20, God told the Israelites He would send His angel to keep them in the way, and to bring them into the place which He had prepared for them.
Certainly, there is a prepared place for us this year, but it will take divine grace and guidance to get there.
To successfully arrive at Heaven’s destination for us this year, we need to be sure we are following divine instructions.
When we take responsibility and tune our lives to the correct spiritual frequency, our steps will be ordered and our paths will keep shining brighter and brighter.
Today, as we commit ourselves to always obey the Holy Spirit surely, every frustration and stagnation will be terminated and we will experience miraculous breakthroughs and a glorious crowning of our year with good things.

PRAYER; Father, please help me to seek the guidance of Your Spirit in all my endeavors. Please guide me through every decision and lead me on the right paths always in Jesus Name.

The Hangzhou maximum security prison in China was notorious for being inescapable, until one man made history by escaping it.
Liu Zhenying, known as ‘Brother Yun’ was involved in the Christian house church networks in China during the 1980s and 90s. He became labeled a rebel by the Chinese authorities because he refused to submit his church to the control of the government. He was declared wanted until finally arrested and sentenced to many years in prison.
In the prison, Brother Yun continued his ministry and led many prisoners and even prison officials to Christ. This led to more government persecution and he was often severely beaten. One day, during a long period of fasting, he heard the voice of the Holy Spirit tell him to simply walk out of the prison gate. As he obeyed he became invisible to the heavily armed guards as no one stopped him until he finally walked out of the main gate. After escaping, Brother Yun sought asylum in Germany in 2001 and from there continued his ministry.
The news of Brother Yun’s prison break was a big embarrassment to the Chinese government and they sacked some prison guards.
But after an official investigation, the Chinese Government finally concluded that Brother Yun received no human help and must have escaped supernaturally. Till date, he remains the only person to have ever escaped from the Hangzhou maximum security prison in China.

Psalm 34 was written in response to an incident in David’s life where he miraculously escaped danger.
In 1 Samuel 21:10-15, David was on the run from Saul and sought safety in Gath [Goliath’s place of birth]. When he was brought before their king, he realized his life was in danger. David then pretended madness and was able to escape.
In verse 7 of Psalm 34, David says he was delivered because “The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.’
Certainly, God is able to miraculously deliver and rescue those who fear Him from impossible situations.
In Acts 12:6 Peter was in prison, bound with chains and placed between two soldiers, but when God’s angel suddenly showed up, Peter was miraculously delivered.
As a child of God there is no situation you cannot escape from. We serve the warrior King in whose Hands all powers reside. He can make a way of escape for us out of every temptation and tribulation..
Jesus suffered on the Cross to ensure our eternal freedom. Therefore, by the power in His Blood, any evil force sponsoring afflictions in your life suffers total technical failures today.. Despite how the enemy may have tried to cage your progress, you are escaping from every prison of limitation and breaking forth to a flourishing end this year.
Certainly, by the Blood of Jesus, our soul has escaped as a bird from every snare of the fowlers.(Psalm 124:7]

PRAYER; Father, I thank You for Your divine intervention in my life. By the power in the Blood of Jesus, I have escaped from every prison, bondage and captivity of the enemy in every area of my life in Jesus Name.

Charles Page was one of America’s most influential businessman and philanthropist of the 20th century. However he had years of struggle before eventually succeeding. His challenges started at 11 years of age when his father died and he had to drop out of school and began working to help his mother.
For many years, he worked at a series of jobs including being a cook, a railway dispatcher, a store clerk, a lumberjack, a logger and even a policeman.
His fortunes changed when one day he attended a Salvation Army street service and made the decision to obey Biblical instructions concerning giving.
As he began paying his tithe regularly, gradually things began to improve. Overtime, he got into real estate development, oil well drilling, and investing in power plants. Through God’s blessings upon his endeavors, Charles eventually became a millionaire.
He was famous as a generous philanthropist, who contributed to the spread of the Gospel and supported various charities including the Salvation Army. He also built hospitals, schools, homes for widows, orphans and poor black Americans.

Obedience to Biblical instructions will always open the door to new horizons and breaking forth to higher dimensions.
After Charles Page’s decision to obey God’s instruction concerning tithing, his misfortune and fruitless wanderings ended .
The Israelites wandered in the desert for 40 years, shut out of the Promised Land due to disobedience. But after the disobedient generation had died off, they gained access to the land flowing with milk and honey.
Today, many people have been wandering fruitlessly due to failure to come into alignment with God’s will.
Obedience is what connects us to God’s divine grace which makes our journey great. The work of the Holy Spirit is to reveal God’s Word and guide us to walk in the truth. [John 16:13-24].
As we obey what the Holy Spirit reveals to us from the Bible, we will step into overflowing abundance and all-round blessings.
To stop wandering about in life and truly begin to experience supernatural breakthroughs we need the help of the Holy Spirit. As we launch into a deeper relationship with Him, He will open our eyes to see hidden opportunities and orchestrate our steps to meet destiny helpers.
As this year ends, through following divine instructions, we will certainly break out of every stagnation and step into greater levels of grace, anointing, promotion, progress and breaking forth to enviable heights.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for releasing upon me the grace for obedience to Your divine instructions. By Your help, I shall see hidden opportunities in this season and encounter inexplicable breakthroughs in Jesus’ Name.
