Paul Porter was born to parents who were ministers of the Gospel. At the early age of three, he began his musical career by singing in the church choir. Under his father’s direction, at just nine years of age Paul led his first musical group and became known for his natural vocal ability.
Within three decades of his musical career, Paul rose to fame as the lead vocalist of the legendary Gospel music group ‘The Christianaires.’ Paul earned numerous nominations and awards—including Grammy, Dove, and Stellar award.
However, in 1996, Paul Porter’s career came to an abrupt halt when he suffered a brain aneurism. As a result of the aneurism, he lost his sight, his voice, his ability to walk and motor skills. He lost his memory and stayed in the bed about a year and a half.
He was in a wheelchair for three years and had multiple surgeries. With no improvement, the doctors eventually gave up and left him to die.
But rather than accept the doctors’ verdict Paul chose to hold on to God’s Word. By faith he began telling people that God was going to heal him. As he continued to trust God, soon a miracle began to unfold.. Paul was able to get out of his wheelchair and began to walk. By 2006, he received total healing from all his various afflictions. Thereafter, he resumed his musical career and has since been making waves in the Gospel music industry.
The Word of God, spoken in faith, has awesome power to deliver us from every evil affliction. Most sicknesses have spiritual root and God’s Word alone has the spiritual capacity to destroy their evil roots. Therefore to see miraculous healing and deliverance, we must keep declaring God’s counsel, no matter how impossible any situation may seem.
In the face of any affliction keep speaking life and claiming that you are healed by the stripes of Christ[1 Peter 2:24]. Jesus died to heal every possible affliction we would ever face in this life. He was wounded so we could be completely whole and enjoy abundant life. At the Cross He suffered terribly to ensure we never have to suffer again.
To experience the manifestations of our redemptive package we must refuse to keep quiet before any attack of the enemy. In the face of seemingly unsurmountable mountains, keep declaring your portion of health and wholeness in Christ.
God has given us a mouth and wisdom that all our adversaries ‘shall not be able to gainsay nor resist’. Indeed no sickness or affliction can resist your bold declarations of faith. Every tongue that rises against you in judgement shall surely be condemned.
It is a law of the spirit that what you say is what you will see. Therefore, as you keep speaking God’s Word boldly, you will soon see the manifestations of your portion of divine health, wholeness, breakthroughs and breaking forth on every side.
PRAYER: Father please help me to begin to live in the consciousness of the redemptive benefits Christ won for me at Calvary. Today, by the Blood of Jesus I claim my victory over everything contesting my glorious destiny in Jesus Name.
