Psalm 50:15 ;Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me.”

DAILY – Luke 18:18-43; Genesis 31; Psalm 24

The nation of America used to be a group of 13 British colonies. Due to harsh treatment from the British government, these 13 colonies revolted and clamored for independence. This desire for freedom would result in a war with Britain, which began in 1775 and ended in 1783.
History records that Prayer played an important role in American’s victory in this war. Before the war started, delegates from the different colonies gathered together to hold the first Continental Congress in September 1774.
These men recognized the need to make prayer the foundation of their quest for independence.
Among those who knelt in prayer that day was George Washington who would serve as commander in chief of the Army and later became the first U.S. president. Alongside him were some of the founding fathers of America including Patrick Henry, James Madison, and John Hancock.
These men desperately prayed for divine intervention.
With great emotions they turned imploringly to heaven for help, as tears gushed from some of their eyes.
God indeed did answer their prayers and on July 4, 1776, the United States claimed independence from Britain, and the democratic republic was born.

Prayer is certainly the foundation of successful endeavors.
Indeed victory must first be established in the spirit realm through prayer, before it manifests physically.
Why some endeavors fail is because people ignore the necessity of the spiritual foundation of prayer.

But there is no intervention without intercession. Miracles are not accidental occurrences; they are the deliberate acts of God provoked by the desperate faith of men. God comes to the rescue of people who are frantically searching for Him and seeking His help.

We certainly need divine intervention when faced with strong battles.
We need God to bring down the pharaohs that refuse our freedom and the goliaths that resist our enthronement.
Especially this year, we need God to destroy any thing trying to hinder us from partaking of the prophesied wonder agenda.
Indeed as we turn our hearts to God, He will turn His hands to help.
As we get on our knees and cry out for assistance, God will certainly crush every resistance.
Whatever situation you’re facing today, remember that there is an answer to it in prayer.

Psalm 31:19-20 says God has goodness stored up for those who trust in Him.
Therefore, today, as we build up our trust in God through indepth study of His Word and call upon Him, He will surely manifest His great goodness towards us. He will exceed our expectations and cause our intercessions to yield divine interventions.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to never become weary in intercession. As I persist in prayers, I thank You Lord for the soon manifestation of my desired answers in Jesus’ Name.
