Through divine help, a slave boy rose to become an American social reformer, orator, writer, and statesman.
This slave boy was Frederick Douglas who became the most important leader of the movement for African-American civil rights in the 19th century. At a ttme when it was illegal for black slaves to get educated, the young boy, Frederick Douglas managed to educate himself by learning and observing the writings of the white people around him.
In the Church for black people, Douglass began using the Bible to teach the other slaves what he was learning. After this was discovered and Douglass was severely punished by the white slave masters, he managed to escape on September 3, 1838, by boarding a train that took him to New York. He eventually became a licensed preacher serving in the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church. Soon, he joined the abolitionist movement to stop slavery. He travelled to different countries and delivered lectures in churches and chapels that drew thousands of people.
Douglass wrote five autobiographies, along with dozens of noteworthy speeches. His eloquence marvelled even his skeptics.
Douglass became the first black man to hold a high office in America and served as adviser to five United States presidents.

When God is your helper, negative life circumstances cannot truncate your destiny. Though you may be initially oppressed and maltreated, nothing and no one can stop your eventual rise to top.
Psalm 9:9 says “The LORD is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.”
As long as you are sincerely seeking God, you become a divine project for the manifestation of His glory.
While there may be initial difficulties and challenges, as you remain persistent in seeking God and obeying His Word, it is only a matter of time before you emerge a winner. Limitations of education, poverty, race or family background can never be a hindrance to your success.
Therefore, never allow people or circumstances to deter you. Trust God to bring to manifestation His divine plans for your life. Keep walking closely with Him, because with God on your side you are truly unstoppable.
No matter how impossible things may look right now, focus on following God’s plan through prayers and consistent study of the Word. Surely, by God’s grace your expectations shall not be cut short. Through inexplicable miracles, you will soon break forth to enviable positions and experience amazing breakthroughs in this season.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for the grace and strength to keep pressing forward in this season with faith and prayers. Certainly by Your grace I shall soon see a manifestation of Your great plans for my life in Jesus Name.

During the Yom Kippur War in 1973, the Israeli military recorded many stories of divine help that gave them victories over their enemies. One of these stories was the miraculous escape of an Israeli tank commander and his men from the middle of a mine field.
The Israeli officer, Commander David Yinni, was in the process of pulling his troops out of a confrontation with the Syrian army when he realized that they had unknowingly walked into a minefield set up by their enemies.
It was a trap that was meant to wholly destroy them. Realizing the danger, the men stopped walking because any wrong step could detonate a mine. In this desperate situation, one of the soldiers uttered a heartfelt prayer to God to help them. After he prayed, suddenly a windstorm began to blow. The soldiers hunkered down until the storm subsided. As they lifted up their heads, they discovered that the wind had blown away much of the topsoil that had covered the minefield thereby exposing the location of each bomb.
Now able to see the mines clearly, the soldiers carefully avoided them and slowly walked through the field until the entire platoon managed to escape, unharmed.

Just like these Israeli soldiers, there may be times we could find ourselves trapped in situations where there seems to be no way out. These could be attacks of the enemy in your health, your finances, relationships, business, career, etc. The problem could appear insurmountable and you may not seem to see how things could work out in the natural.
But just as the Israeli soldier prayed and God helped them through a windstorm, as you call upon God, the wind of the Spirit will blow through that situation and create a way of escape out of the temptation.
Through God’s divine help those obstacles will into miracles.
God says in Isaiah 41:13, “For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’
Certainly, in this season of divine help, God is about to surround the problems surrounding you and deliver you miraculously.
If God can rescue the three boys from fire, divide the red sea, shut up the mouth of lions, cause earthquakes, and raise the dead, then be assured that He is not at all limited in organizing a rescue for you.
As you stand in faith and keep your eyes on Jesus, you will soon experience a positive change. Those long-lingering problems are about to finally bow to you.
God will break every chain of stagnation, disfavour, depression, limitations, and give you fresh victories in battles. As you stay expectant and give God advance praise for what He will do, suddenly things will begin to shift in your favor and the lines will fall for you pleasant places!

PRAYER: Lord, please grant me the grace to always walk by faith, and not limit You in my thinking, because with You nothing is impossible and even right I know You are turning things around in my favor in Jesus Name.

The Motilone Indians in Colombia were a people so isolated and hostile that in the first 400 years of recorded history, no white man survived contact with them. The Motilones had the dubious distinction of killing everyone who came near them, and previous attempts to evangelize had been disastrous and proved abortive.
But in 1961, 19-year-old Bruce Olson felt God calling him to evangelize this savage tribe. Nearly everyone thought he was mad when he left his family in Minnesota, traveled to South America, and ventured into Venezuela’s uncharted jungles to look for the Motilones. Bruce had no prior missionary training, no financial support, and no knowledge of the languages. He had no weapon, not even a knife or tool to open his sardines. All he had was reliance on God’s help.
His first contact with the Motilones almost cost him his life. On sighting him, they shot him through the leg with a five-foot-long arrow and captured him. They held him captive for months in anticipation of execution. During those months, God put compassion for Bruce in the hearts of his Indian captors. They later released him, and he began living and working among their tribe, teaching them about Christ.
In the ensuring years, the jungle people’s lives were revolutionized through Bruce’s ministry. He brought civilization to them; he built facilities and trained the people in various skills. Today many students from these jungles are graduates who are contributing to the progress of their society because of the ministry of Bruce Olson.

When you have divine backing, you will thrive where others strive and flourish where others perish.
Success is not about what you have; it is about who you have. You may not have enough money, enough education, or enough human support, but what matters is that you have God.
When God is for you, nothing can be against you, and you will surely overcome every odd and excel in life.
When you have a heart that seeks to please God and places His will above all else, you will accomplish wonders on earth.
In our quest to break forth to greater dimensions, we need God’s help to take us further than our own strength could ever take us.
To achieve extraordinary results, we need divine input in our endeavors. Therefore today, no matter the overwhelming odds, keep your focus on God and trust that He is able to do exceedingly above all you could ever ask, think, or imagine.
As we keep blessing the Lord at all times and remain obedient to His Word, surely the Holy Spirit will bypass every limitation to work amazing wonders through us in this season.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to stop worrying about my inabilities and rely on Your divine abilities. Certainly, through Christ I can do all things. Now is my time to break forth to amazing dimensions of success in Jesus Name.

During the 1930’s, many immigrants from Europe came to America to work in the booming coalfields of West Virginia. Many of these men lived rough lives of adultery, gambling, drunkenness, etc.
In this environment lived Rufus Dunford, who mirrored the prevalent sinful lifestyle around him and was a drunkard and gambler.
When his wife Mamie Dunford began attending a local church, Rufus wasn’t interested in joining her. But things drastically changed when a large tumor was discovered in his brain. Doctors sent Rufus to Johns Hopkins Hospital for an examination. The diagnosis was bleak; he could die during surgery or spend the rest of his life in a vegetative state.
When his wife began telling him about the healings among Full Gospel people, Rufus humbled himself and began to seek God. He spent three days fasting and asking God for help.
On the third day of fasting, Rufus received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, began praying in tongues and was completely healed from the tumor.
Thereafter, Rufus became a prayer warrior, used mightily by God to bring healing and deliverance to many people. Rufus Dunford went on to become a fiery minister of the Gospel. He was uncle to the international evangelist Perry Stone, whom he greatly impacted and mentored.

Drawing close to God is the key that grants access to miraculous divine help. One encounter with God can end a lifetime of struggles.
There is nothing impossible with God. He is able to suddenly open up new doors to greater levels in your health, finances, family, ministry, etc.
Anytime you face great odds, rather than looking to men for help, spend the time seeking the face of God. The altar of prayer is the place of connection to divine help that causes the flow of miracles, signs, and wonders. As you come boldly to the throne of grace, you will obtain mercy and find grace to help in your time of need. [Hebrews 4:16].
Whatever miracles you need today, as you make the decision to seek God with renewed zeal and fervor, you will experience a sudden visitation.
By the power in the Blood of Jesus, your story will change for good; you will receive health in the place of sickness, laughter in the place of sorrow, and beauty in the place of ashes.
God will exceed your expectations and amaze you with His goodness. He will give you double for all your troubles and overflow your life with favor, abundance, joy, peace, and unending blessings.

PRAYER Lord, as I come to Your throne of grace to obtain the help today, I thank You for the release of abundant blessings to meet the needs in every area of concern in my life in Jesus Name.

To be connected to God is to be connected to divine help. Especially in these perilous times, the help of God is critical to enable us continually prevail over the worsening conditions in the world. It doesn’t matter how tough things may get; through divine help, we will be above only and never beneath.
Certainly, God is our ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Divine help was the secret of Israel’s victories in tough battles. In 1 Samuel 7, after Israel consecrated themselves to sincerely obey God, He helped them to defeat their strong enemies, the Philistines.
What is particularly significant about this victory is that God Himself won the battle by delivering Israel in a stunningly supernatural way. Specifically, the text says that God “thundered with a loud thunder upon the Philistines that day and so confused them that they were overcome before Israel (1 Samuel 7:10).”
After the victory, in acknowledging God’s help, Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far has the Lord helped us.”
Ebenezer is a Hebrew word that means “Stone of Help.”
Truly, we have come thus far only because the Lord has helped us. Today, as we sincerely commit to deepening our walk with Him, and obey His Word,, we will yet see His greater help. By the enabling grace of the Spirit, we will scale enviable heights and break forth to greater dimensions in all our endeavors.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for the grace to walk in faith and obedience so that I can experience Your amazing help that will usher me to my next level and grant me speedy accomplishments in Jesus Name.

The California Gold Rush, which started in 1849, prompted multitudes in America to become preoccupied with the pursuit of gold. Few people seemed interested in the things of God. At this time, one man felt led to start noon prayer meetings.
After advertising around town, Jeremiah came on the first day of the meeting, and to his dismay, no one else had turned up. He was the only one that came.
As he began to pray and seek the help of God, by the end of the hour, five people came for the meeting. Being a man of prayer, Jeremiah spent more time seeking divine help for his assignment.
By the following week, 20 people showed up for the meeting. The week after that, 40 people came.
As Jeremiah persisted in prayers, the attendance continued to increase and few months later, thousands were coming to the noon prayer meetings on a daily basis. This marked the beginning of one of the greatest revivals in history known as the ‘third great awakening.’
This spiritual movement soon spread across the world and eventually ushered millions of people into God’s kingdom. This revival also resulted in the birth of many powerful ministries, including that of D.L. Moody.

The story of Jeremiah Lanphier teaches us not to be discouraged by unfruitful beginnings.
If perhaps you have experienced undesirable results since the beginning of the year, don’t become down cast and think the seasons will not change.
It’s not too late to achieve all you were ordained to accomplish this year. Those big opportunities that didn’t happen earlier in the year—this may just be the ripe time for them.
It doesn’t matter the dryness of past months; through divine help, September can become your Rehoboth, where God makes room for you in the land and you become fruitful.
Fruitfulness is not about your external condition; it is about your internal connection to the Spirit of God.
Therefore while the ‘ember months’, may mark the rounding up of the year, as you stay rooted in God, it can be a time to birth new dreams, visions, and ideas.
It can be a season when God begins to do something fresh and mighty in your life. Therefore, get ready for some unscheduled blessings, out-of-season increases, and inexplicable promotions.
As we stand in faith and continually praise the Lord, Certainly, He will do exceeding abundantly above all that we can ask, think, or imagine this month. [Ephesians 3:20].

PRAYER; Lord please help me to maximize the days of this new month through reliance on Your divine help. By Your grace, this shall be my time to experience divine acceleration that will usher me into the great things ordained for this year in Jesus Name.

Many people have often marveled at the insightful teaching and impactful writings of A.W. Tozer, yet he was a man who had only one day of formal education in his life.
Aiden Wilson Tozer was a 15-year-old, uneducated farm boy when his father suffered a nervous breakdown. To help in providing for their family, A.W. Tozer took up petty jobs, one of which was selling books on a commission. He had such a love for reading that he ended up reading the books he was supposed to be selling and hardly made earnings from sales. However, he was enriched by the vast knowledge he acquired. He eventually found another job at a rubber company, which gave him earnings that enabled him to better provide for their family.
Lacking formal education, he decided to enroll in high school, but he was there for only one day. After that, Tozer became largely self-taught, with the help of the Holy Spirit.
A man of fervent prayers and deep study of God’s Word, Dr. A.W. Tozer enjoyed great inspiration from the Holy Spirit. When he began serving as a preacher, his remarkable breadth of spiritual knowledge made him to become greatly sought after. A.W. Tozer eventually became an outstanding pastor, author, and spiritual leader who made great impact in the world. The remarkable help of the Holy Spirit in his ministry is evident in his many books and articles, which continue to be great blessings to the world today.

Through the help of the Holy Spirit, a person can overcome any disadvantaged background and break forth to impact the world.
It is the marvelous help of the Spirit that makes stars of men. When the Holy Spirit begins to relate with a man’s spirit, He connects him to the deep things of God, which makes him a wonder on earth.
As we come into the month of September today, we have come into our season of breaking forth through engaging the help of the Holy Spirit.
September being the ninth month symbolizes the time of birth, and also the number nine represents a dimension of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, in this new month we can expect to birth great ideas through the empowering of the Spirit.
It was the help of the Spirit that enabled Mary, a young virgin, to accomplish the wonder of supernaturally birthing our Savior into the world. [ Luke 1:35]
To birth miracles, signs, and wonders in our lives, the help of the Spirit is indispensable.
As we engage the Spirit, this month shall indeed be for us a ‘September to remember.’
To be partakers and not spectators, let us receive renewed zeal for diligent study of God’s Word, fervent prayers, and intimate worship.
Certainly, as we engage the help of the Spirit in this new month, it shall be our season of breaking forth to greater levels in our finances, health, family, business, relationships, and every other area of our lives.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for bringing me into this new month. Please help me to deeply to Your Spirit so that Your foreordained plan and purpose for me, can come into full manifestation, in Jesus Name. .

On October 13, 2010, many people prayed, watched, and cheered as the Phoenix Capsule traveled almost a half mile deep into the bowels of the earth to provide escape for the miners trapped for over two months underground in Chile..
This journey of the phoenix capsule into the bowels of earth was experimental technology that had not been tried before but became successful through the power of faith and prayers.
Weeks earlier, a mining accident at Chile’s San José copper mine. had trapped 33 men at a depth of 2,260 feet, with all the exits caved in.
In their desperate situation, the Christians among them resorted to fervent prayers. And in the process, twenty-two of the men who were unbelievers came to faith in Christ. As they called upon God, miracles began to unfold.
Though rescue had seemed impossible, NASA’s Engineering and Safety Center (NESC) began an experimental engineering technology to attempt a rescue..
A major miracle occurred when the miners’ food finished on the 16th day but by the next day, a probe from the NASA rescue team successfully drilled through the ground, and used paloma supply tubes to send food and fresh water down to them.
Then sixty-nine days later, after the execution of a rigorous rescue plan, all 33 men were eventually brought up to safety at ground level. As millions around the world rejoiced, these rescued men continually gave God all the glory and praise, knowing that He alone had made their rescue possible.

Just as faith in God rescued these miners, every child of God has a heritage of divine rescue. Today, many people are trapped by the worsening economic conditions and increasing global uncertainties. In these perilous and difficult times, we have to know that we can never be stranded or trapped.
Through faith in God, we can rise from any depths of despair in the world.
Faith is a spiritual lifeline that can lift you out of any pit in life.
It is therefore important that we become diligent in the study of God’s so as to continually be filled with the faith and power to rise above every valley and reach our mountaintops of victory.
The key to surviving and thriving through the tough times is being rooted in God. Time spent blessing the Lord through prayer and worship—regardless of your circumstances—will make you ready to weather any storm.
On this last day of the month of August, it is a good time to pause and thank God for His amazing faithfulness in our lives in the past months. Despite the many difficulties in the world, we have not been stranded; while men have been saying there’s a casting down, we have been seeing a lifting up!
And as we look forward to the new month, by God’s grace, surely we shall continue to triumph always and break forth exceedingly on every side in Jesus Name.

PRAYER; Lord I thank You for bringing me to the end of August today. I am grateful for all Your goodness I have seen. By Your grace I shall never suffer stagnation but will keep breaking forth to greater levels of destiny in Jesus Name.

‘Operation Moses’ was the code name for the evacuation of Ethiopian Jews from Sudan to Israel in 1984.
After a civil war brought great famine to Sudan, it led to the death of many Ethiopian Jews who were living in Sudanese refugee camps.
When the Israeli government learnt of this calamity, they embarked on a massive airlift in which about 8,000 Ethiopian Jews were secretly flown to Israel beginning from November 21, 1984.
However in 1985, when the covert operation became public news, fear of pressure from other Arab countries made the Sudanese president to order a halt to Israel’s operation.
For many of the Ethiopian Jews who were left behind in Sudan, it seemed an end to their dream of deliverance. But when it seemed like it was all over, somehow, a new door opened up unexpectedly as the U.S decided to continue the evacuation. The then-US vice president, George Bush personally flew to Sudan in March 1985 and convinced the Sudanese president to allow the US to complete the airlift of Ethiopian Jews left behind in Sudan.
In this new operation, several US military C-130 Hercules aircraft secretly airlifted the remaining Ethiopian Jews and flew them directly to Israel.
Through God’s intervention these Ethiopian Jews received sudden help and deliverance at a time when it seemed all their hope was lost.

Just like God did for the Ethiopian Jews, He can suddenly turn the captivity of anyone who trusts in Him.
God can so miraculously change your story that it will seem to you like a dream [Psalms 126: 1-2].
In every situation, the important thing is to remain connected to God’s Word, because it is the Word that imparts into our heart faith which is the victory that overcomes the world.
Faith is the key factor for a divine change of story because all things are possible to him that believes. .
Today, as we remain strong in faith and keep giving glory to God, surely, we are coming into our turnaround season where sadness will turn into gladness, mourning will turn into dancing and we will receive beauty in the place of ashes.
God knows how to transform any disappointments into great blessings. This is why we praise Him even in the face of difficulties.
In any time of challenge, our principal tool for reaping our desired harvest of miracles is praise.
God is fearful in praises and as we keep our praise switch turned on, we shall be seeing His supernatural help in amazing sudden open doors, supernatural breakthroughs and turning of every captivity in our lives..

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for Your faithfulness in my life. I praise and bless You because even right now I know You are turning around every tough situation in my favor in Jesus Name.

Though wildfires inevitably kill and injure many organisms in their path, a number of plants have adapted to resprout if they are damaged in a blaze.
These plants are able to not only survive the fire but take advantage of it and amazingly use the heat to sprout their seeds. Some plants, such as the lodgepole pine, Eucalyptus, and Banksia, have fruits that open up to release their seeds after the heat of a fire. For these species of plants, their germination process only begins after exposure heat.
This is often why in places like Australia, shortly after a bush fire, the blackened bush lands amazingly transform into a riot of green vegetation, with new shoots popping up everywhere.
For example a plant called Banksias, can keep their seed for years in a woody fruit called a follicle. But during a fire, the parent plant may be killed but the fruit will open up causing the seeds to fall to the ground. And because the bushfire has destroyed many other plants, the new seeds can now thrive on the ground without competitors; fertilized with ashes from the fire. So, the bushfires that destroys other plants, become vital for the renewal and survival of these native plant species.
Rather than stunt their growth, the smoke from fire is just what these plants need to move from seed to become seedling. What kills others is what gives life to them. Where others fail, these plants not only survive, they also thrive. And as they grow, there is no sign of the fire they had been through. In the place of ashes, they are covered with beauty and color.

In the book of Daniel, when King Nebuchadnezzar threw the three Hebrew boys into the fiery furnace, the fire should have instantly killed them. But rather they not only survived, they ended up thriving, so much so that there was no sign of fire or smoke on them. .
Daniel 3:27 says, ” And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counselors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.!”
There are times we may pass through trials of afflictions, situations that may seem impossible and insurmountable. But we have to understand that God is able to use what was meant to stop us to propel us forward. He can turn around stumbling blocks to become stepping stones to greater glory.
Maintaining our joy is important if we are going to fight and win the good fight of faith. We can’t control what happens on the outside, but we can control what happens on the inside. “Happiness” comes from the word “happenstance” from which we get the word “circumstance”. It depends on the happenings. Happiness is external but Joy is internal. Joy is constant and is not determined by what is going on in your life. Joy of the Lord is spiritually imparted into our hearts through the study of God’s Word and is our strength that overcomes every trial..
Therefore remain joyful despite what may go on around you. Thank God for every opportunity for His glory to be seen at work in you. Let what could deflate you instead become what will inflate you. What the enemy sent to steal your joy, let it be the reason for your praise.

Therefore whatever fiery circumstance you may find yourself in, always remember that God is able to turn it all around for your good. As we maintain our Joy in every circumstance, surely this will be our season to break forth in glorious new colors and soar to greater heights of destiny.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to be filled constantly with Your joy and strength. Now is indeed my time to see beauty for ashes and I thank You Lord for granting me the strength to keep moving from glory to glory in Jesus Name. .
