JULY 15; GOD CAN CHANGE THE STORY!

Psalm 66:12 ‘..We went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.’

DAILY READING; • Philemon 1:1-25; Jeremiah 19-20; Psalm 128

Placed in an orphanage at the age of six, and sentenced to the Texas State Penitentiary at the age of nineteen, James Ryle’s life appeared doomed. But God was not finished with him.
When James was only six years old, his father was sent to prison for armed robbery. Thereafter his mother sent him to an orphan’s home in Dallas.
In that orphanage, he suffered a lot of abuse and cruelty.
At 17 years of age, James left the orphanage and began fending for himself. One weekend, while driving in a car with his friend, he was involved in a deadly crash that instantly killed his friend. James was arrested and charged with negligent homicide. Things got even worse as he was charged with possession of marijuana and faced the possibility of up to 20 years behind bars. As he sat in the Dallas County Jail awaiting trial, James’ began seeking God for help and decided to turn over his life to Christ.
The result of this decision was a miraculous change in his case. James was shocked to find his sentence reduced to only two years. A year into his sentence, James prayed for an early parole. One day as he opened his Bible, his eyes fell on these words in Luke’s Gospel “Go home to your friends and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you.’
At that moment, he knew God had answered his prayers.
Miraculously, one week later, he was called out of his cell and put into a pre-release program. Soon after he was released from prison, James embarked on telling people what God had done for him. Over the years, his ministry grew and he became the President and Founder of TruthWorks, a teaching and resourcing ministry aimed at helping people experience God’s presence. James is also one of the founding Board members of Promise Keepers and a best-selling author.

It doesn’t matter how rough or tough the battles you may face, through the help of the Spirit of God, you can overcome every obstacle, defeat every enemy, and become everything God has destined you to be.
Despite the pains, setbacks and trials of the past, you can experience restoration and renewal.
Life is not always fair, but when it seems you have every reason to feel discouraged, always remember that God has another season. He is a game changer!
You may have gone through the fire of afflictions, but that is not your final destination, there is still something greater waiting ahead of you in life.
As a child of God, though you may sometimes pass through the water and fire, you are destined to come into your wealthy place.[ Psalm 66:12].
It doesn’t matter the trials or temptations you may face today, you are bound to triumph always through Christ.
Redemption has repositioned you for constant victory. Therefore, in every confrontation, just keep your focus on God’s promises and keep blessing Him at all times because you are surely emerging the winner.
As you stay strong in faith, giving glory to God, you will soon experience complete reversal of every negative situation and enjoy restoration on every side in Jesus Name!

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for bringing restoration and transformation into my life by the help of Your Spirit. By Your grace it is my season to walk in dominion and enjoy unending victory in Jesus Name.

JULY 14; IT IS ONLY A BEND AND NOT THE END!

1 John 2:27 ‘But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth…”

DAILY READING; Titus 3; Jeremiah 17-18; Psalm 127

In 1949, in Los Angeles, a young preacher named Billy Graham began preaching nightly in a crusade tagged ‘the Greater Los Angeles Revival’.
The crusade was planned to last for three weeks, but as the days went by, Billy became increasingly disappointed by the low turnout as thousands of seats remained empty.
As the local organizing committee were wondering about closing the meetings, because of the poor attendance,
Billy Graham decided to pray and ask God for a clear sign.
In his autobiography, “Just As I Am” Billy Graham wrote that the sign he needed came at 4:30am the next morning. He was woken from sleep by a phone call from a famous entertainer and radio personality named Stuart Hamblen who requested an appointment to meet Billy Graham.
Later when Billy met him, Hamblen said he had attended the crusade the night before and was arrested by the Holy Ghost. Hamblen who was known for living a life of partying, drinking and brawling said that his life had drastically changed..
After they talked, Hamblen totally surrendered his life to Christ.
Graham was amazed at how the Holy Spirit had been working, while he had been busy lamenting the poor attendance of the meeting. He then told the organizers that the crusade should go on and the meeting eventually extended to eight weeks. As the Holy Spirit continued to impact and transform more lives, the attendance began to improve. Soon the venue began to overflow with crowds especially after the media began reporting about the crusade due to the amazing transformation of the life of Stuart Hamblen who had also been broadcasting his newfound faith on his radio program.
With the great publicity, attendance swelled to an estimated 350,000 in the course of eight weeks of the crusade. The Los Angeles revival turned Graham into a national figure and brought great fame and visibility to his ministry.

Anytime you come to a crossroad on life’s journey, it is always good to seek counsel from the Spirit of God.
Don’t make hasty decisions based on the facts or statistics. Let the Holy Spirit abiding within you teach you and give you definite directions.
1 John 2:27says ‘But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things..’

The truth is that anytime you are about to rise to greater heights, you may sometimes first pass through a valley of disappointing experiences. If you are walking by sight, and not by faith, you may conclude it is the end of the road, not realizing it is only a bend leading to a higher way.
If you get to a place where everything seems to be working against you, never give up. That may just be the place and time that the tide is about to turn in your favor. Keep pressing forward because on the other side of that challenge may be awaiting you a new level of destiny.
In order not to miss divine opportunities, you must seek counsel from the Spirit of God through prayers and in-depth study of God’s Word.
Always, remember that your strength doesn’t lie in yourself, but in God. Your goals will not be achieved by your power or might, but by the help of the Spirit of God.
No matter how complex or impossible things may appear, God is able to give you the grace, the strength, and the power to do what you couldn’t do on your own.
Rather than look at what is happening, focus on what is written. God’s Word never fails. Rather than despair, in everything keep giving God thanks. As you praise God, surely, He will raise you out of every valley of disappointment and take you to your mountaintop of victory and greater open doors.

PRAYER: Lord, Please grant me the grace to keep giving You thanks in all things. No matter the happenings around me, I know Your thoughts towards me are always thoughts of good and I will be victorious at last in Jesus Name.

JULY 13; THE HOLY SPIRIT WORKS WHEN WE PRAY!

James 5:16 [Amp] ‘..And pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].

DAILY READING; Titus 2; Jeremiah 15-16; Psalm 126

In recent years much public attention has been directed to scientific studies of the validity of prayer.
This interest was sparked majorly by a widely publicized experiment performed by Dr. Randolph Byrd.
In 1982, Randolph Byrd had a brilliant insight to carry out a ten-month study.on the power of intercessory prayer in hospitals.
While working as a cardiologist
at the San Francisco General Medical Center, Dr. Byrd randomly divided 393 coronary patients into two groups. Half of the patients were assigned to an ‘experimental’ group, who were prayed for by born-again Christians, while the other half were assigned to a ‘control’ group that did not receive prayers.
The results of the research were dramatic.
Statistics showed the two groups of patients were equally sick when they entered the hospital, but that patients who were prayed for had fewer complications during their stay. None of the patients who were prayed for needed tubes inserted for breathing or feeding, unlike the patients of the control group.
The patients who were prayed for also had fewer episodes of congestive heart failure, pneumonia, and cardiac arrest.
Byrd’s landmark study was published in the Southern Medical Journal in 1988. Dr. William Wilson, a retired psychiatry professor from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, who wrote a commentary accompanying the research work, called it ‘one of the best medical studies in a long time’ Dr. Wilson said ‘It is one of the greatest mysteries in the universe how God works,’
This Research has motivated several important investigations in the following decades over the effectiveness of prayer in the lives of hospital patients.

Truly, when we pray, it make a great difference.
James 5:16 [Amp] says ‘..And pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored.’
When we pray, the Holy Spirit begins to move and work. He is the One that executes the will of God upon the earth.
Healing of the sick is one of the most significant manifestations of the Spirit. It is recorded of Jesus in Acts 10: 38 “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth… who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil”.

Prayer is a major channel through which we receive the anointing, which is the empowerment for ministry to others:. Through the anointing the Holy Spirit flows through us to bring healing and deliverance to the world. When we pray, God transmits His power through us to reach those in desperate need of help
This is why we should never give up on our prayers, both for ourselves and for others.
Even when you don’t see immediate results, keep praying and speaking life and blessings over that situation. As long as you are praying according to God’s promises, your answer will surely come to pass.
God is the prayer answering God, He doesn’t store prayer, He answers them. Therefore don’t give up on sowing seeds of prayer! Truly, the fervent prayer of the righteous does avail much.
As you pray, mountains are moving. And very soon, you’ll see great manifestation of answers as you reap a harvest of blessings, favor, health, increase and amazing open doors to greater levels.

PRAYER: Lord I thank You for granting me the grace to persevere in prayers. I know that even right now, the Holy Spirit is moving in my life and bringing speedy manifestations of my desired miracles and blessings in Jesus Name.

JULY 12; GUARANTEED LIBERTY BY THE BLOOD!

2 Corinthians 3:17 ‘Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

DAILY READING; Titus 1; Jeremiah 13-14; Psalm 125

Isaac Backus was a former farm-boy who became famous during the days of American independence due to his tenacious fight for religious liberty for Christians.
Isaac Backus grew up in his family’s farm during the period of the Great Awakening in America in 1741. Affected by that great move of the Spirit sweeping through the nation and the spiritual fervency of people around him, at age 17, he surrendered his life to Christ.
Soon young Isaac received the call to ministry and began training to become a preacher. In 1746 he preached his first sermon and he progressed so rapidly in ministry that two years later, in 1748 he became pastor of the First Baptist Church of Middleboro, Massachusetts.
At that time, members of the Baptists Church were subject to great persecution by the government of Massachusetts. The Baptist churches were forced to pay taxes which were then used to support government-controlled churches, whose doctrines were contrary to that of the Baptists. When the Baptist churches refused to pay these taxes, their houses, land and possessions were confiscated. They were even put in prison for refusing to support a state religion they did not believe in!
In 1774 Isaac was asked by the Baptists to represent them in this matter, in a legal battle with the state.
For 10 years Isaac Backus labored for religious liberty and played a key role toward securing independence from England and religious liberty for Christians. He wrote tracts, petitions and letters. As a result of this fight, years later full religious liberty was finally granted. Many Christians in America today, owe their religious liberty to the tireless efforts of this great man of God, Isaac Backus.

Every anointed man and woman of God will be tasked with the mission of bringing liberty to those in bondage.
An outstanding work of the Holy Spirit is to bring liberty, wherever He comes.
2 Corinthians 3:17 says ‘where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.’
Freedom, redemption, liberty are constant expressions of the Spirit. He is on a mission to remove yokes, burdens and bring deliverance to those who are heavy-laden with troubles and problems.
After the Holy Spirit came upon Jesus, He proclaimed in Luke 4:18 ‘The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.’
Jesus was anointed without measure so that He could bring deliverance without limit to world. Even today He is still setting the captives free.
Deliverance and redemption for the oppressed is what Jesus shed His Blood to purchase.
Through the Blood of Jesus we are guaranteed freedom from every form of spiritual enslavement, suffering, shame and reproach.
Zechariah 9:11 says, ‘As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.’
By the Blood of Jesus we have been brought out of every pit of diseases, infirmity, poverty, sin, etc..
Jesus’ willingness and desire to bring deliverance from these demonic bondages was reflected in Luke 13:16 when He said: ‘And ought not this woman…whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond?’
By His blood, ‘Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us, that the blessing of Abraham might come upon us’ (Galatians 3:14).
Let us therefore stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. We must refuse, reject and repel every attempt of the enemy to keep us bound in sickness, poverty, oppression, problems etc.
As long as we stand strong in faith and keep giving glory to God, surely, our freedom is guaranteed by the Blood of Jesus.

PRAYER;
Lord, I thank You for purchasing my freedom through Your precious Blood. Thank You Lord for the grace to diligently study Your Word so that I can walk every day in the full consciousness of the victory You won for me at Calvary in Jesus’ Name.

JULY 11; SHELTERED BY THE SPIRIT!

Isaiah 59:19 ‘So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.’

DAILY READING; • 2 Timothy 4; Jeremiah 11-12; Psalm 124

After Hurricane Katrina hit Long Beach, Mississippi, one of the amazing sights that was left behind was the building of Gulfport Church of God. In the midst of the tragedy and chaos where most other buildings were destroyed, this Church building remained standing, unscathed. Its miraculous survival is indeed a testimony of God’s divine protection. .
When the winds of the hurricane first began to blow, the pastors of the Church had walked around the sanctuary, praying fervently and asking for God’s divine protection. While they prayed the ferocious winds of the hurricane only kept growing stronger. As they watched the winds tear the big sign outside the Church to pieces, they still kept praying for God’s special protection over the church. At the height of the Hurricane’s fury, they prayed even harder.
When the storm finally passed, they didn’t grasp the extent of its devastation until they stepped outside. Seeing what had happened astounded them! Surrounding buildings had been ripped apart and many destroyed. But miraculously God had sheltered the church from the hurricane! And in the aftermath of the devastation, the Church building now became a shelter and center for distributing food to the victims of the hurricane.

Isaiah 59:19 says when the enemy comes like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.
Right in the midst of the hurricane that leveled stronger structures, God raised a standard against the flood and sheltered this Church building.
Often in the midst of a storm, the tendency is to wonder, “Where is God”? But the Bible says God is an ever present help in the time of trouble. In other words, He is present right there in the storm and is committed to your preservation. Though the enemy may seem to be bringing floods of problems, the Holy Spirit is always at work, lifting up a standard against the flood. This is why you must not stop praying, praising and declaring the Word, no matter how tough things may get, because God is working in that situation.
When you are a covenant child of God, you can be sure that He is always with you in every situation. He said in Isaiah 43:2 ” When thou pass through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee:..’
Even those times the storm seems toughest and the night appears darkest, Jesus is still right there in your boat. We should always remember that the presence of the storm does not indicate the absence of God.
Therefore don’t become so aware of the storm that you lose awareness of God’s presence. Rather than worry, use the time to worship and bless God for what He is set to do in your life.
Though you may not see Him, you may not feel Him, you may not sense Him, God is always there. And when you cannot trace Him, then you simply trust Him. Despite the lightning flashes, the thunder rolls, the dark clouds, He will shelter you and cause you to survive it all.
Indeed survival can be summed up in three words, ‘never give up’. That’s the heart of it really. No matter what comes against you, hold on to God’s Word and keep your focus on Jesus. His grace that has brought you thus far, will keep you. Therefore, fear not. Do not be troubled and let not your heart be shaken. Your God is faithful. He that keeps Israel never slumbers nor sleeps. He has not brought you this far to leave you. And no matter how the storm blows, when it is all over you will be standing strong and victorious, blessing the Name of the Lord.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for always sheltering me from every storm of life. Thank You for granting me strength from Your Word in every situation. No matter what I may pass through, I know I am coming out stronger and better in Jesus Name.

JULY 10; THE EXCEEDING, ABUNDANT HELP OF THE SPIRIT!

Ephesians 3:20 ‘Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us..’

DAILY READING; ; 2 Timothy 3; Jeremiah 9-10; Psalm 123

Mary Mcleod Bethune was the daughter of freed slaves, who became the most influential black woman of her times in the United States.
Mary Jane was raised in a God-conscious family where daily prayers were the norm. However her parents were very poor and often struggled to feed and clothe their children. As a young girl, Mary dreamed of a day when she could have things that white families took for granted, like books and glass windows.
Mary’s life changed when a local missionary woman sponsored her education to the Moody Bible Institute and she became the first African-American student to attend the Institute. After graduation she applied for missionary service to Africa, but it was declined because of her being a black woman. Instead of seeing this closed door as the end, Mary sought God’s will for her future and received the leading to start a school for black children. In 1904, with only $1.65, she rented a broken-down cottage for the school. To raise money Mary sold sweet potato pies and fried fish on the street corners to wealthy tourists. God helped her and in less than two years, her school grew to 250 students and four teachers. A local college noticed her work and asked her to join forces with them. In later years this partnership would become Bethune-Cookman University.
Mary’s work on behalf of African Americans received attention from the White House. This marked the beginning of a longstanding career of government service where she served as president of many national organizations and held leadership appointments under a number of American Presidents.
In her later years, Mary would remember how as a little girl, she had longed for the things that white people had, but now looking around at her luxurious home, she realized that God had so blessed her that many white people now longed to have the things she had. Knowing how she had been raised from grass to grace by the help of the Spirit of God, her heart was often filled with thanksgiving and gratitude.

Our God is the God of miracles, who desires to pour His blessing into our lives in an exceeding abundant way.
Throughout the Scriptures we find expressed God’s excessive benevolence towards His children.
He is able to turn the tables in our favor, and do more for us than we can ever ask, think or imagine according to His power that works in is. .
Attaining our lofty dreams will not be by our own power or might, only by the help of the Spirit of God working in us.
The far-reaching impact and influence, God has planned for us can only be accomplished by the help of His Spirit.
God has placed in our spiritual account an awesome deposit of His Spirit. When we are willing to yield ourselves to Him, we will draw from His divine wisdom and power to ascend to glorious heights in life.
When we line up with His Word in our thoughts, words and actions, He will lift us from grass to grace; from the dunghill to seat among princes.
There is no limit to the heights God can take us to, if only we believe. As far as our eyes can see, He is able to give to us.
Therefore, let us stop limiting ourselves by trying to accomplish greatness by our own strength. Help is available through the Spirit of God.
No matter the dreams you may have for yourself, what the Spirit can accomplish for you will always be far greater.
As we draw closer to Him through a daily walk of purity, study of the Word, prayers and worship, surely we shall ascend to glorious new levels and be catapulted to enviable heights of destiny.

PRAYER:
Lord, I know indeed You can do exceedingly abundantly above all I could ever ask or imagine. Please, by the help of Your Spirit, enable me to access the glorious open doors You have planned for me this year in Jesus Name.

JULY 9; SEEK THE ANOINTING!

!

Isaiah 10:27 ’ And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.’

DAILY READING; 2 Timothy 2; Jeremiah 7-8; Psalm 122

Raymond T. Richey was an important figure in the history of the Pentecostal-charismatic renewal movement.
As a young boy, he was injured in the eyes which led to near blindness. Eye specialists told his family that he was eventually going to become blind.
This condition lingered until when Richey was about 15 years. One day he heard about a revival occurring in Texas and went there and gave his heart to God. After the meeting the evangelist holding the revival prayed for his eyes and by the next morning his eyes had cleared and he was healed. He was also healed of tuberculosis. This miraculous healings deeply affected him and shaped much of his remaining life and ministry.
As a result of his healing, he decided to serve God and earnestly sought for the anointing and the manifestation of God’s power. As he began praying for the sick he received miraculous answers to prayers.
In 1920 Richey was preaching in a meeting and while praying for the sick a woman’s crippled arm was healed. The news attracted large crowds and many people experienced healings.
This opened the way for a new itinerant healing ministry for Raymond T. Richey who began to hold citywide revivals which saw thousands of souls saved. In later years,
Raymond T. Richey became established as one of the first Pentecostal healing evangelists leaving a significant legacy for those who followed in his path, such as William Branham, Jack Coe, Oral Roberts, and Kathryn Kuhlman.

God doesn’t want to only work miracles in us, He also wants to work through us to heal others.
More than being recipients of miracles, we are to become channels through which God’s power flows to bring emancipation to men and end their cries of oppression.
In the midst of the gross darkness in the world, our light ought so shine with glorious testimonies and good works, that will cause men to continually glorify God.
To achieve this purpose, we must earnestly desire to receive the Anointing of the Holy Spirit, which is what breaks the yoke of oppression in the lives of men.

Isaiah 10:27 ’ And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.’

We need the Anointing to be effective in our service to God. This is what will enable us to truly manifest as sons of God with power.

Romans 8:19-21 says: “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God…”

The manifestation of the sons of God will be the manifestation of glory and power. This is what the world is eagerly waiting for. As we seek the anointing of the Holy Spirit in this season, surely we will experience the flow of His power that will break yokes and set the captives free.

PRAYER: Lord, please enable me to earnestly seek the anointing of the Holy Spirit so that I can be a blessing to humanity and bring glory to You wherever I go in Jesus’ Name.

JULY 8; SOARING BY HELP OF THE SPIRIT!

Psalm 16:11 ‘Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.’

DAILY READING –•2 Timothy 1; Jeremiah 5-6; Psalm 121

For many years, men have seen eagles as a symbol of beauty, bravery, courage, honor, pride, determination and grace. What makes this bird so important and symbolic to humanity is its characteristics.
And one of such characteristics is the eagles’ ability to use the force of the storm to their advantage.
Eagles are the only birds that love the storm. An eagle can sense a storm approaching long before it breaks. The eagle then flies to some high spot and waits for the winds to come. As dark storms begin to march across the horizon, and the thunder starts to roll and echo, the eagle sets its wings. When the storm strikes an eagle, due to how it had sets its wings, the air currents send it above the storm by their very fury. While all other birds seek shelter, flee from the storm and hide from its fierceness, eagles fly right into it and use the wind of the storm to rise higher.
They use the pressure of the storm to glide higher without having to use their own energy. They are able to do this because God has created them uniquely with an ability to lock their wings in a fixed position in the midst of the fierce winds. This then causes the winds to lift the eagle higher. And so while the storm rages below, the eagle soars above it, and the stronger the storm, the higher the eagle rises.

Just like the eagle, we can take advantage of the storms of life. Instead of struggling we can ride on the wings of The Spirit, allowing Him to turn our trials into triumphs. Indeed the Spirit of God knows how to turn stumbling blocks into stepping stones to our greater destiny.
Therefore, in the midst of trials, instead of being gloomy, let us rather be glad and rejoice knowing that God is able to make a way for us, through the mighty waters.
Our wisdom is limited and we may not know what to do when faced with contrary winds, but if we engage the help of God and go where The Spirit leads, we will never need to struggle.
Just like the eagle, God can use your challenges to take you to higher heights and bring you to greater shores. God always knows how to turn things around this is why we should draw closer to Him in times of trials.
Maintaining God’s Presence is crucial if we must have the victory in battle. And it takes praise to engage His presence. When we praise, God arises and all His enemies will be scattered.
As we saw in the story of king Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20, when he was confronted by armies greater than him, instead of fighting them by his strength, he engaged the presence of the Almighty God through praise.
Indeed God’s Presence will always make you unbeatable in any battle.
This is why we count it all joy, in the midst of trials. The joy is the trigger for engaging God’s Presence, because in His Presence is fullness of joy.
As we remain joyful and praiseful, God will fight our battles and give us resounding victory.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to stand strong despite the fierce winds of oppositions. Despite any challenge I may face, I thank You Father, for granting me the grace to always rise stronger and better in Jesus Name.

JULY 7; EMPOWERED FOR GREATER HEIGHTS!

Romans 8:11 ‘But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.’

DAILY READING; 1 Timothy 5:23-6:21; Jeremiah 3-4; Psalm 120

Gravity hills are types of slopes where things seem to move against gravity on their own accord. On gravity hills, the opposite appears to occur, as instead of naturally rolling downhill, objects roll upwards.
These hills apparently defy the laws of nature, and have become tourist attractions. One of these mysterious hills where the laws of gravity seem to disappear is found in Armenia – on the slopes of mount Aragats. On this road a car automatically rolls upwards towards the top of the mountain without being driven; and in some places even accelerates.
If you put a bottle on the ground, it will also roll uphill. Walking up the hill feels easier for people than walking down hill.
Also amazingly, there are some rivers in Mount Aragats, where water appears to flow in reverse: from down to upwards.
Many people travel to Mount Aragats in Armenia, to see these unexplained phenomenon that contradicts all of the laws of physics.
Some people have tried to explain the mystery as a deformation of gravitational field, while others think that there are some special magnetic fields there. But whatever the case, the phenomenon continually attracts many people from all over the world.

Gravity is an inescapable force on earth that holds things down and any area that seems to escape its grip, like the gravity hills, become a wonder to behold.
And just like the force of gravity holds down things, there are also spiritual forces that hold people down on the earth.
Those who are able to escape these forces become a wonder to their world. As believers, we are spiritually destined to overcome those forces, which like gravity keep men grounded and hinder their rising. Just like the grave could not hold back Jesus, no force can hold back a Blood-bought child of God. Through the power of the Spirit at work in us, it is our portion to soar where others may stumble. Like a city set on a hill, we are to always be above only and never beneath, to be the head and never the tail.. Whatever works against men’s elevation and ascendancy will always be conquered by the superior power of the Holy Ghost at work in our lives. That is why, while men say there is a casting down, we can say there is a lifting up.
The power of the Holy Ghost is the resurrection power that raised Christ from the grave. That same power of the Spirit that caused Christ to triumph over the force of darkness is also at work in us.
By the power of the Spirit, we are raised to sit with Christ, far above principalities and powers and the spiritual wickedness in high places.
Let us therefore continually praise God for our divine lifting. Surely, it is our season to escape every hinderance and rise to greater heights and experience unprecedented open doors.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit that is at work in me. By Your grace it is my season to arise above the forces of stagnation and ascend to glorious new heights in Jesus Name

JULY 6: DESTINED FOR EXPLOITS.

Daniel 11:32 ” But the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”

DAILY READING –
1 Timothy 5, Isaiah 39, Psalm 119: 144 -176.

It was every pilot’s worst nightmare. On Tuesday, April 17, 2018, an engine blew out on Dallas-bound Flight 1380 ripping a hole in a side of the Boeing 737.
The aircraft then began to shudder violently and the cockpit was filled with smoke and a deafening roar.
This panicked the passengers who began screaming at the top of their voices.
But in this midst of this chaos, the pilot of the plane, Tammy Jo Shults displayed an unusual calmness that would later earn her international acclaim.
As the plane began to nosedive to the ground and it seemed all hope was lost, pilot Shults made a cabin announcement and , boldly assured the passengers that the plane would not go down, but would land safely.
Passengers would later tell the media that pilot Shults’ assurance made all the difference because it gave them hope. As they began to prepare for landing, the pilot knew she had one shot at landing the crippled aircraft.
Being a devout Christian she looked to God to help her to make that crucial landing. And indeed God helped her to miraculously do what seemed impossible by safely landing the plane
When they finally touched down at Philadelphia,
Pilot Shults was full of gratitude because God has again proved Himself faithful and helped her escape what would have been a devastating crash. While the Media and many people praised her for her faith and calmness in the midst of the turbulence, she said her habit of spending daily time with God was what gave her confidence and the peace .that passes all understanding.
.
It is important to always maintain a daily fervent connection to the Spirit of God. When we seek God daily we are making deposits in our spiritual bank account that we can withdraw from in the day of trouble.
As long as we maintain daily fellowship with the Holy Spirit through the Word, fervent prayers and passionate worship, then we can be sure that He will cause us to triumph always..
Knowing God intimately is what gives us boldness and confidence in the times of battle. Surely those that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits
We must understand that what makes the difference between winning and losing in life’s battles is the level of our daily spiritual preparedness.
And one of the ways we prepare is by maintaining our joy, because the joy of the Lord is our strength.. No matter the happenings, we keep expressing confidence in our God, because we know He will always, orchestrate the circumstances to our advantage.
Therefore if you are faced with any chaotic situation today, rather than worry, choose to worship. Rather than panic choose to praise.
Praise guarantees God’s Presence and will raise you out of any pit
No matter how complex or impossible any situation may appear, let us keep trusting Good, because He never fails nor forsakes those that hope in Him.
Though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; we will not fear, because the Lord is our refuge and strength and ever present help in times of need. (Psalms 46:2).

PRAYER: Lord, I am truly grateful for Your faithfulness in my life. Please help me to always praise You in every situation, because indeed You are good and Your mercies endure forever in Jesus Name. .
