Dr. John G. Lake, the great healing apostle, first tasted extraordinary success as a businessman before stepping into ministry. As a young man, he was industrious and visionary. He founded two newspapers—The Harvey Citizen and The Soo Times—then moved into real estate and later life insurance, where he became a millionaire. Lake’s secret was his unbroken communion with the Holy Spirit. Even while handling business deals, he constantly prayed in tongues and sought divine wisdom. The Spirit’s guidance helped him make flawless decisions that multiplied his results and influence. Later, when God called him into ministry, he obeyed without hesitation, giving away all his wealth and trusting God for everything. His connection with the Holy Ghost became the source of his unending exploits. Today, his legacy still burns brightly across the world as one of the greatest healing evangelists of all time.
Every believer is redeemed to excel on the earth. We are destined to shine, to profit, and to manifest greatness by the Spirit of the Living God! (1 Corinthians 12:7 )

PRAYER: Father, grant me an unbroken connection to Your Spirit. Help me to maintain a life of constant prayer, praise, and sensitivity, that I may walk in Your wisdom and arise to the enviable heights You’ve ordained for me in Jesus’ Name.
