Kathryn Kuhlman was greatly used by God to manifest the power of the Holy Spirit to the world. The secret of her amazing ministry was a deep and intimate walk with the Holy Spirit.
However, it was through difficult life circumstances that she learned the importance of submission and obedience.
One of those times she learned a hard lesson was in 1938, when she went against the advice of those close to her and decided to wed a man, who had left his wife and two sons.
Though Kathryn admitted that she could not “find the will of God in the matter” she went ahead with the wedding plans.
On the wedding day, she had so much lack of peace and inner turmoil that during the ceremony she fainted right on the altar. She had to be revived to take the wedding vows.
After the ceremony, she said to her best friends “I’ve made a big mistake!”
The marriage was such a difficult period that her ministry was put on hold. But after six years of continually feeling she was outside of God’s will,, Kathryn made the decision to choose the God she loved above the man she loved. She left the marriage, bought a one way ticket to another town and started her ministry all over again. From then on, Kathryn strived to be always obedient and never grieve the Holy Spirit. This resulted in the great anointing that distinguished her and took her ministry to global heights.

Every act of obedience is passing the test that results in our change of level.
Obedience is always the story behind the glory. All the giants of faith who succeeded in life, were ordinary men, made extraordinary by obedience to God.
The truth is that there’s a cost to the great manifestations of the Spirit. To be greatly anointed and used by God we must be willing to obey Him at all costs
Obedience is the pathway to power and the price of experiencing signs and wonders.

Philippians 2:8-9 says that Jesus was obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God highly exalted Him, and gave Him a Name that is above every name:”
We are called to follow Jesus’ example by always prioritizing obedience to God above following our own ways and inclinations. You never lose by obeying God rather you keep breaking forth to greater heights.
Today, let us receive the grace to always choose God’s will above our own feelings and desires. Though initially it may seem difficult to do so, but in the end we will see that God’s will is always better and His ways are always higher than ours.
Today, as we become willing and obedient, certainly we shall eat the good of the land and be celebrated in our generation..

PRAYER: lord, I receive the grace to always walk in Obedience to Your every instruction to me. As I do, I thank You for the manifestations of Your glory in my life through inexplicable miracles ,signs and wonders in my life in Jesus Name.
