Open Doors USA, an organization that monitors Christian persecution around the world, reported the remarkable story of an Egyptian Muslim named Mostafa. He had traveled to Cairo with the sole intention of killing his cousin, Mohammed, who had converted from Islam to Christianity.
Mostafa’s family had ordered him to execute Mohammed to remove the “shame” of his conversion. Obeying their wishes, he set out on the deadly mission. When he arrived in Cairo, he traced Mohammed to a church where he was attending a service. Hidden in the back pew with a knife tucked under his clothing, Mostafa waited for the perfect moment to strike.
But something supernatural happened. As he listened to the sermon, the words from the altar pierced his heart. The message of love, forgiveness, and salvation began to melt his hatred. The zeal to kill his cousin evaporated. Convicted and trembling, he approached Mohammed in tears and confessed his plan. Mohammed embraced him and shared the Gospel. That night, Mostafa had a dream in which Jesus appeared on the cross and said, “I did all of this because I love you, and I want you to be free from your sins.”
The next morning, he surrendered his life to Christ. From that moment, the would-be murderer became a messenger of the Gospel. Mostafa and Mohammed now serve Jesus together, boldly proclaiming the faith that once divided them.
While it is true that wickedness will increase in these last days, God’s covenant children are covered by the supernatural power of the Blood of Jesus. The same Blood that saved Mohammed from death still speaks today. It is speaking mercy, protection, and deliverance for those who belong to Christ.
Revelation 12:11 declares, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony.”
Every believer has a weapon that the enemy cannot withstand—the precious Blood of Jesus. It silences the voice of accusation, breaks the chains of bondage, and destroys the power of darkness.
Whatever has been contending with your peace, progress, or purpose, the Blood of Jesus will silence it today. Every stubborn challenge, recurring affliction, or unseen opposition bows to the authority of that Blood.
In Exodus 12, when the Blood of the lamb was placed on the doorposts, death passed over God’s people and Pharaoh’s resistance was broken. In the same way, as you keep declaring and applying the Blood of Jesus this season, every Pharaoh resisting your destiny will surrender.
The Blood is our divine insurance against destruction. This season it will speak better things for us—favor instead of failure, mercy instead of judgment, breakthrough instead of breakdown. As we invoke the Blood daily, certainly God will crown this year for us with testimonies of unstoppable glory.
PRAYER:
Lord, I thank You for the yoke-breaking power in the Blood of Jesus. Today, by the power in that Blood, every bondage and captivity in my life is destroyed forever. I declare total victory over everything contesting my glorious destiny, in Jesus’ Name.
