In 1927, Victor Plymire embarked on a 2000-mile trek into the deepest part of Tibet for his evangelistic work.
He and his team navigated through some of the world’s highest peaks, facing blizzards and avalanches. Finally arriving in Tibet, Victor Plymire was well received by the Dalai Lama, who was the Buddhist head monk that governed Tibet.
After establishing a mission base there, Plymire then decided to go deeper into some interior villages to preach. Aware of the possible dangers , he prayed fervently before departing. Accompanied by two Tibetan helpers, they arrived at a village controlled by a hostile local chief who rejected the Gospel and ordered that Plymire and his helpers should be beheaded.
Back in America, at that moment, an elderly Christian woman was awakened from sleep by the Holy Spirit and told to pray for Plymire because his life was in great danger. As she went into prayers, miracles began to unfold. In Tibet, the Dalai Lama suddenly felt prompted to send a runner to the village where Plymire had gone to warn the chief not to harm them. The runner arrived just as Plymire and his two helpers were being led outside to be killed and so their lives were spared.
Weeks later, Plymire received a letter from the elderly Christian woman telling him of the prompting to pray for him. He then realized that the Holy Spirit had led her to pray at the exact time of his arrest by the hostile chief and through her prayers he had been miraculously delivered .
Victor Plymire’s story is captured in the book “High Adventure in Tibet.”

The Holy Spirit is always at work orchestrating miracles and timely deliverance in the lives of believers.
In any situation where it seems you are tightly cornered, always be assured that God is able to make a way for you where there seems to be no way. God can suddenly raise help for you from unexpected quarters and create a path of escape from every trouble.
We serve the God of divine visitations, who can suddenly intervene when it seems all hope is lost. He is the Lord, strong and mighty in battle and nothing is ever too difficult for Him.
It doesn’t matter the gang-up against you, when God arises, all your enemies must surely be scattered.
When the power of the Holy Spirit is at work in our lives, our soul will always escape like a bird out of the snare of the fowler.(Psalm 124:7).
As the year rounds up we especially need to be spiritually sensitive because the “ember months” are notorious for troubles and calamities. But while it may be a time of temptations for the world, it will be our time of increased blessings and amazing breakthroughs because God crowns the year with good things. Certainly, this will be our season to experience extraordinary favor and divine increase in our finances, health, family, career etc.
This is also a season for us to become more spiritually fervent because the truth is that you either pray or you become a prey. Therefore as we launch into a deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit, surely, we shall never be the prey of the wicked.
Through the mighty power of the Holy Spirit we will be indefatigable and triumphant and keep breaking forth gloriously on every side.

PRAYER: Lord, please grant me the grace to launch into a deeper relationship with You so that i can be empowered to overcome every enemy of my destiny and keep soaring higher in all my endeavors in Jesus Name.
