1 Corinthians 15:10 ‘But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.’

As a youth, Walter Grant was wayward and strayed far from the godly life modeled by his parents. Though he once followed his mother to prayer meetings, peer pressure dragged him into darkness. He began drinking heavily, stealing from neighbors, and getting into violent fights. By nineteen, years of cheap alcohol had ravaged his stomach and ruined his health. But one life-altering day, overwhelmed by conviction, Walter knelt down and surrendered his heart to Jesus. Instantly, peace flooded his soul—and soon after, his body was miraculously healed.

With a new fire burning in his heart, he began attending church and walking in righteousness. He entered the business world and prospered, even helping build churches and Sunday schools. Yet, a deeper call stirred within him—the call to preach the Gospel. Though he wrestled with the sacrifice it required, he finally laid everything on the altar, choosing God’s will above his own success.
In 1945, Walter Grant was ordained as an Assemblies of God minister. From then on, God used him powerfully to heal the sick, spark revivals, and shake cities with the Gospel. His life is a living proof that surrendering to God releases a glorious destiny that surpasses all expectations.

As a young man, Apostle Paul journeyed on the wrong track and became known as a persecutor of Christians.
But through God’s grace, his life was transformed and he ended up as a mighty, world-changing force for the Gospel. In 1 Corinthians 15:10, he said “But by the grace of God I am what I am”.
The word “grace” in this verse denotes the empowering presence of God. Through this grace Paul exceeded expectations and accomplished extraordinary things for God’s kingdom. Every child of God, is bestowed with the grace to accomplish extraordinary things and rise to enviable heights in life. Even if your beginning was rough or tough, your later end is destined to be great and glorious.
When we utilize the grace upon our lives and become dedicated to our calling, God will open doors of miracles, blessings and abundance to us.
Redemption has positioned you for a glorious change of story. Therefore refuse to be the tail and always strive to be the head. Refuse to live a mediocre life but rather seek to shine your light brightly before men and bring glory to God.
Wherever you may be today, don’t settle for less than your best, that’s not your destiny. As you seek to honor God in whatever you do, He will cause you to keep soaring higher until you break forth to glorious new realms and enviable dimensions of destiny.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to seek You above all else and walk in obedience to Your will. May my heart always pant after You and the affairs of Your Kingdom. By Your grace I shall tirelessly pursue my calling and never settle for less until I arrive at my glorious destination in Jesus Name.
