Psalms 112:1-9
“Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, Who delights greatly in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches will be in his house, And his righteousness endures forever.”

Phil Driscoll is an internationally acclaimed trumpeter and singer. Phil Driscoll’s journey to success is a powerful testimony of the reward of obedience. As a child, he played a plastic trumpet on street corners while his father preached the gospel. Raised in a small Full-Gospel Church, where his father was a pastor, Phil’s early life was marked by faith and music. However, as he pursued a career in secular music as an adult, his spiritual life declined. He stopped attending church, fell into drug use, and opened a nightclub called Driscoll’s. Consequently his career and his personal life suffered, eventually leading to the breakdown of his first marriage.
But God’s grace never stopped reaching for him. He kept feeling convicted until he decided to obey God and return to the Faith. On Christmas Day in 1977, after years away from church, Phil walked into a service and rededicated his life to Jesus. That moment of obedience—choosing to return—became the turning point. He quit drugs, turned to gospel music, and began to serve God wholeheartedly.
From that point, doors began to open supernaturally. His music began blessing millions around the world. Phil Driscoll went on to win prestigious honors like the Grammy and Dove Awards, using his gift to glorify God. His story proves that when we return in obedience, God’s grace can redeem our past and launch us into divine purpose.

Many of us struggle with giving God full control of our lives.
We want to do things our own way and pursue our own desires.
But the frustrations and hindrances we encounter on the way soon make it clear to us that without Jesus we can do nothing. Sometimes our failures and struggles are used by God to get our attention. Our point of breakdown sometimes becomes our place of spiritual breakthrough, where we turn to God for help and guidance.
And as we begin to seek the Lord and obey Him, it will directly impact our level of success.
Psalms 112:1-9 says, “Blessed is the man who fears the LORD…”
Our progress and success in life depend on our obedience to God’s counsel. While there may be many thoughts in a man’s heart, only the counsel of the Lord shall stand.
Our well-structured, meticulous goals and plans mean nothing if God is not engaged in our pursuits. It is His grace and guidance that terminate frustrations on our journey and lead us to our desired open doors. When you are guided, you cannot be grounded. When God’s grace is at work, the lines will fall for you in pleasant places.
Therefore, to successfully access the glory ordained for us in this season, we need to ensure we are walking in God’s will by taking the time to pray, fast, worship, praise, study the Word, and listen to the Lord.
Surely, when we become strongly connected to God, no force can stop our forward movement to higher realms and glorious new destinations in our endeavors.

PRAYER:
Father, please grant me the grace to always seek Your will in all my endeavors. I praise You for all Your doings in my life. Surely I shall arrive at Your destiny of glory for me this year in Jesus’ Name.
