In 1974 Pastor Mariano Riscajche felt the leading to begin praying over their city, Almolonga in Guatemala. At that time this city was known for poverty, paganism, violence and alcoholism. Trash and waste covered the streets; and crime was so rampant that all four city jails could not contain the increasing number of prisoners.
It was obvious that evil forces held the city in bondage.
To break the demonic yoke over the city Pastor Mariano Riscajche and a small group of intercessors fasted, prayed and waged spiritual warfare.
They faced intense resistance, and a lengthy spiritual battle due to the rampant idol worship. But through the power of Christ the Pastor and his group of intercessors eventually conquered the evil forces.
As they continued to preach the Word, many people began to abandon idol worship and burned their witchcraft paraphernalia. As miraculous transformations swept through the region, the number of Christians multiplied. Where only 3% of the population used to be born-again Christians, the number now rapidly grew to more than 90%.
The four city jails that used to overflow with prisoners now became completely shut down due to a record low crime rate. As the glory of God invaded this city the people experienced supernatural changes. From deep poverty, the city began to enjoy accelerated progress and prosperity.
These radical transformations captured the attention of journalists and scientists around the world. Today, Almolonga has come to be known as “The Miracle City,” because of the glory-invasion that changed its story.

Positive change is inevitable when God’s power is engaged.
The Israelites lived for 430 years in bondage in Egypt. But when God’s power came down for their deliverance, their story changed instantly., Certainly it takes power to experience breakthroughs, progress and upward mobility. Science tells us that every object remains in a state of inertia until an external force is applied to it. Therefore we can enforce our progress by applying power.
Today, we have come into the new month of March, which is our season to march forward. However, it will take deliberately engaging God’s power for us to march into our destined new level this month.
Through His death at the Cross, Jesus gave us the power to spiritually re-organize our circumstances.
The power in His Blood is ordained for the supernatural establishment of our redemptive dignity. By the Blood, we are revived to live a life of glory and not of shame. By it we are translated from failure to success, from sickness to health, from weakness to power.
Therefore, today, in whatever area you may feel grounded or oppressed, you can enforce a change by connecting to the power of God through diligent study of the Word, fervent prayers and praise..Jesus became a curse for us, that we might experience a blessed new life of blessings and glory (Galatians 3:13-14).
As we come into this new month of March, let us determine to walk in the power and glory Christ won for us..
No more redundancy, stagnancy or delay.
Perhaps in January and February you were taxing down the runway, but now it is time to march forward into the colorful destiny of glory awaiting for us in this season.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this new month of March You have brought me into.
By Your grace, I shall overcome the limiting forces trying to hold me down and soar higher into great and glorious heights You have in store for me in Jesus Name.
