1 Chronicles 29: 12-13 ‘Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name’

Dave Ramsey is financial guru, eight-time national bestselling author and host of The Ramsey Show, heard by 23 million listeners every week.
Dave Ramsey made money early in life and by age 26, he already had a portfolio worth more than $4 million. But though he was getting rich, at the same time, he was feeling more and more empty inside.
Then one day while he was at a business seminar, the speaker, who was a Christian, told the audience, “To be truly successful,” he said, “you’ve got to know this man named Jesus.”
For some reason, the speaker’s words began haunting Dave.
Eventually, he decided to start going to a Church, and became a Christian but he never really gave God full control over his life.
Not long after that, he fell into financial trouble, that made him to eventually declare bankruptcy. With his success, self-reliance and money stripped away, Dave now turned fully to God for help and began spending a lot of time praying.
As he studied the Bible, God taught him about stewardship and he began to understand that everything belonged to God and he was just a manager of God’s resources. — He was reminded of Psalm 24:1 that says “the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof”.
As Dave now became totally dependent on God, out of the ashes of his failure came forth a ministry of teaching people what he was learning about God’s ways of handling money. God prospered his ministry and through radio, television, books, magazines, live events, and financial classes, he has over the years helped millions of people to experience financial turnarounds. Today he is recognized as one of the world’s leading financial experts.
Recalling where God had brought him from, Dave Ramsey often publicly expresses His gratitude to God, standing up in front of his team, he gives thanks for all that God has done in and around him.

1 Chronicles 29: 12-13 King David poured out his heart in gratitude as he blessed the Lord before all the congregation: From a poor shepherd boy God took him to the throne and David remained ever grateful ,he declared in 1 Chronicles 29: “‘Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.’

When we understand that we own nothing but that all we have and will ever have come from God, then we will always be thankful, grateful and praise-full.
Everything we are we owe to God; everything we have comes from Him.
Whatever resources we are privileged to acquire on earth belongs to God and is meant to be used to serve Him. We came to this world naked. We didn’t bring anything into this world and it is certain, we can’t take anything out of this world when we leave.
A nan who refuses to acknowledge God and thinks he is progressing by his own smartness and efforts can be likened to the rich fool in Luke 12. After this man had gathered much wealth he planned to enjoy for many years, as he was congratulating himself, that very night, he was told he was going to die .
It is a risk to keep aspiring to great heights of success, if your spiritual foundation is not strong in God.
One attack of misfortune can wipe out everything.
This is why Jesus asked ‘what does it profit a man to gain the world and yet lose his own soul?’
Those who prioritize gold above God can suddenly lose everything without warning.
Therefore for our lives to be truly meaningful, we must make God our greatest priority and keep giving Him all the glory for every progress, knowing that He is our source and sustainer.
Acknowledging God at every turn and blessing Him at all times is what guarantees us unstoppable progress in life.

PRAYER: Lord, please grant me the grace to always bless and praise You in every situation. I know You are always faithful and I thank You for Your goodness, mercy and favor that continues to prevail over my life in Jesus Name. .
