2 Chronicles 20:22 “And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.”

DAILY READING – Revelation 22; Isaiah 11; Psalm 112

“My weapon is a melody… heaven’s going to fight for me…” says one line of the popular song Raise A Hallelujah” by Bethel Music’.
This song is evident of the power of praise as it brought a miracle in the darkest hour of the life of the CEO of Bethel music Joel Taylor.
In 2018, just before Christmas Joel’s wife and two-year-old son, had just built their Christmas cake train. But later that evening the little boy lay down on the floor in a manner that made his mother know something was terribly wrong.
When he was airlifted to an intensive care unit, he was diagnosed as suffering a deadly infection that had shut down his kidneys and was causing seizures.
His mom and dad felt hopeless when one night the doctor told them he didn’t think their son would make it through the night.
When they relayed the grave news to their friend, Jonathan David Hesler, who is a worship leader, he shared in their pain. In that moment of desperation all of a sudden, out of Jonathan’s spirit arose a song. He wrote down the song with lyrics like– ‘I raise a hallelujah, in the presence of my enemies. I raise a hallelujah, louder than the unbelief.’”
He immediately sent this song to Joel and his wife, who began to sing and declare the lyrics over their dying son. Miraculously the child survived that night. After several weeks in the hospital, numerous treatments and countless prayers, Jason Taylor’s little boy was totally healed and remains healthy and sound.
And today the song “Raise a Hallelujah’ which came at their darkest hour has continued to bless many people around the world.

In 2 Chronicles 20, as king Jehoshaphat and his people raised songs of praise in the presence of their overwhelming enemies, God gave them miraculous victory.
Praise is what triggers the intervention of the Omnipotent God.
We don’t have to wait to see our miracle before we give God praise. That’s not how faith works. You’ve got to give God praise first and as your praise goes up, then the blessings and miracles will come down. Praise always precedes the victory. If we remain discouraged and focus on our problems, it will limit what God can do.
Just like king Jehoshaphat, when you begin to sing and praise God in the face of your challenges, He will set an ambush against the enemies of sickness, poverty, and every negative thing fighting against you. Your songs of praise is what activates God’s miracle working power.
Isaiah 54;1 says, “Sing, oh barren woman, you who never bore a child. Break forth into song and shout for joy”.

This verse essentially means that even while you are barren you should sing and praise God despite your condition Your songs of praise is what will move God to turn the dry season into your season of fruitfulness.
Whatever challenging situation you may face today, praise is able to pull you out of it. Instead of focusing on the problem, focus on the goodness of God and give Him worthy praise and watch Him grant you speedy recovery and total turnaround..

PRAYER; Lord, Please help me to always maintain a praise-full lifestyle, despite any negative condition. Thank You Lord for causing me to triumph always in Jesus Name. .
