Psalms 126: 1-2 ‘When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.’

DAILY READING; Revelation 19; Isaiah 5-6; Psalm 109:20-31

Falash Mura is the name given to descendants of King Solomon in Ethiopia who converted to Christianity. Their Jewish heritage goes back 3,000 years.
In 1981, due to great famine in Ethiopia, significant numbers of the Falash Mura fled to Sudan, but many died due to malnutrition and disease.
When Israeli government learnt of the large number of these Ethiopian Jews dying in Sudanese refugee camps, they embarked on a massive airlift codenamed ‘operation Moses’. Through this operation nearly 8,000 Ethiopian Jews were secretly airlifted to Israel beginning from November 21, 1984.
However in 1985, when the secret operation became public news, fear of pressure from other Arab countries made the Sudanese president to order a halt to Israel’s clandestine operation.
For many of the Ethiopian Jews who were left behind in Sudan, it seemed an end to their dream of deliverance. But when it seemed like it was all over, somehow, a new door opened up unexpectedly as the U.S decided to continue the evacuation. However, this was a great risk to the US government because it meant the resulting political upheaval could uproot the Sudanese president who was their important ally in east Africa and the Arab world.
The then-US vice president, George Bush personally flew to Sudan in March 1985 and convinced the Sudanese president to allow the US to complete the airlift of Ethiopian Jews left behind in Sudan. In the operation, codenamed ‘Operation Sheba’, several US military C-130 Hercules aircraft secretly airlifted the remaining Ethiopian Jews and flew them directly to Israel.
But just as America had speculated, the consequence of the operation, was the overthrow of their important ally, the Sudanese president, but the gain was the saving of the lives of many Ethiopian Jews, who were delivered from great suffering and captivity .

Through God’s intervention the Ethiopian Jews received sudden help and deliverance at a time when it seemed all their hope was lost.
Just like He did for the Ethiopian Jews, God can suddenly turn the captivity of anyone who trusts in Him.

Psalms 126: 1-2 ‘When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.’

Indeed through the divine help of God, we can always enjoy supernatural deliverance and miraculous turnarounds.
As we praise God in this season, suddenly, He will turn every form of captivity and fill our mouth with laughter.
Because of the price Jesus paid at Calvary, it is our portion to be freed from every yoke of bondage.
Therefore by the power in the Blood of Jesus, in this season, we shall be seeing the amazing help of God as long standing walls of Jericho will be suddenly brought down.
However, our principal tool for reaping our desired harvest of miracles is praise. God is fearful in praises and as we keep our praise switch turned on, we shall be seeing His supernatural help in amazing sudden open doors, supernatural breakthroughs and turning of every captivity.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for Your faithfulness in my life. I praise and bless You because even right now I know You are turning around every tough situation in my favor in Jesus Name.
