Philippians 3:12-14 [TPT]
“I admit that I haven’t yet acquired the absolute fullness that I’m pursuing, but I run with passion into His abundance so that I may reach the purpose for which Christ Jesus laid hold of me to make me His own. I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this.”

Bobby Greenewald’s vision was to use technology to effectively distribute the Bible. And so, in 2006, he developed a website where the Bible was available with a lot of other innovative features. Though it was a good idea, after the first month, people’s response to the website was quite discouraging.
The result didn’t seem worth all the effort, time, and money Bobby and his team had invested. And so, after a year, they decided to shut down the website. Their dream to make God’s Word more accessible through modern technology seemed like it had failed. But just two weeks before shutting it down, a divine nudge came to Bobby that changed everything. He received the idea to put the Bible on mobile phones.
The timing was prophetic because, shortly after, Apple announced the launch of their App Store. When Bobby submitted his Bible App for review, it was approved and went live the very day the App Store launched. Within 72 hours, 83,000 people had downloaded it. That divine idea that came to Bobby became the global YouVersion Bible App that is now installed on over 500 million devices, offering the Word of God in over 1,000 languages. Today, the YouVersion Bible App continues to touch lives across every continent—all because one man chose to honor God and pursue His purpose relentlessly, even when nothing made sense.
Bobby’s story is not just about technology—it’s about honoring God by pressing forward in obedience to divine vision despite challenges or discouragements.
To fulfill your divine call and vision, you must decide to press on when everything tells you to quit. To walk in the fear of the Lord is to treat His calling and purpose on your life as holy. It means pursuing His plans with passion even in seasons of seeming stagnation.
When your heart burns for God, you don’t easily let go of the assignments He lays on your heart. You keep holding fast to His Word even in the face of rejection, and keep obeying Him when the cost is high.
To be successful in our pursuits, we must refuse to easily give up.
You rise from failure with the knowledge that He is too faithful to abandon His work in you. And no matter the odds, you keep pushing forward to fulfill His plans and purpose. Like Apostle Paul, you forget what’s behind and press toward what’s ahead—not in your own strength, but in His.
God is looking for seekers—men and women who refuse to settle for a casual faith. He wants sons and daughters whose hearts chase after Him above all else.
So today, let us renew our dedication to pursuing God’s plan and rekindle our passion for His Presence. Don’t allow failure to stop you. Though you may sometimes come to what looks like dead ends, do not quit. It’s not over until God says so. As we keep pressing forward in pursuit of divine purpose, we will soon experience the invasion of glory and unprecedented breakthroughs in every sphere.
PRAYER:
Lord, please grant me the strength to keep pursuing Your will against all odds. By Your grace, I will never grow weary or discouraged until I reach the glory You have ordained for me this year, in Jesus’ Name.
