Psalm 34:1
I will bless The Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth…
DAILY READING – 1 Corinthians 11:1-16; 2 Kings 4; Amos 9
The road of life is often fraught with challenges. And sometimes it may be easy to feel weighed down by problems. But whatever the case, the Bible lets us know that surely there’s an end. Weeping may endure for a night, but surely joy is coming in the morning..
Whenever you are faced with a challenge, trust God and know that it is only a phase. It too shall pass. Every problem, they say, has an expiry date. Life is in times and seasons. Sometimes it can be a season of rain, other times season of sunshine. Sometimes it seems you are being hard pressed, even out of measure. But whatever the situation, learn to always trust wholly in God and lean on His Word. When you hold on to God’s Word, and keep believing against all odds, surely in the end everything will work out well for you. .
This is why we should not resort to worrying, because though we may not see it, God is already at work.. Worry accomplishes nothing. It only causes you to agonize unnecessarily. Worry is the belief that the worst will happen to you. And basically expectation is the mother of manifestation. Your picture is your future. This is why Jesus specifically told us in Luke 12:29 not to worry, so that we don’t draw negative things to us. We should rather by faith, believe God for the best. and what we believe is what we will receive. .
Studies show that 92% of things we worry about will never happen. And the other 8% will probably not be as bad as you think. And for a child of God, in every challenge, God always gives you the grace to overcome. When we know God is in control, we should rest in Him, knowing He is able to handle every of our concern.
Hebrews 4:10 says ‘For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works.’ It is only when we quit doing our own thing, that we can enter into rest.
Worry betrays the fact that you are not trusting God to take care of you. You cannot worry about the future and trust God at the same time.
What we do when faced with this challenges determines the outcome of the situation. It’s not just about the problem, it’s about our attitude towards it. It is your attitude not your aptitude, that ultimately determines your altitude.
Life applies pressure regularly upon us. The question is when adversity knocks, how do you react?.’
One thing to keep in mind is that no challenge comes your way that is greater than you. God will not allow a problem beyond your strength to come to you, but with every temptation He will make a way of escape.
Rather the problem come as a way of helping us to find the strength hidden in us and to see the faithfulness of God manifested in our lives.
Storms are not there to kill you, but to make you stronger.
So when faced with problems instead of panicking let us rely on the power of God to deliver. Let us believe Him to do what he has said He will do. Faith in God is the answer to worry.
Jesus put it plainly, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in Me.” When we believe in God and trust in Him then our hearts will not be troubled.
Trust in God is what destroys worry. Because when we trust Him we know He is in control of our lives. We look to Him in every situation knowing that He will definitely work things out to our favor. This enables us to maintain a joyful attitude in the face of any challenge.
Philippians 4:6 says ‘be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God’.
When we truly believe God is in control, then we will hand over our matters to Him. And when we engage in praise, then He totally takes over our battles. And when God takes, then it is truly over.
Therefore today, instead of worrying and fretting about things you can do nothing about, learn to let go and let God. Instead of worrying begin to praise God and He will do for you exceedingly above all you could ever ask or think. .
PRAYER: Lord, please help me to praise you despite any situation, let nothing ever stop the continual flow of your praise from my mouth.
