Proverbs 4:18 ‘But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.’

When Kathryn Kuhlman was 21 years old, she started her own ministry. After some years, she settled in Franklin Tennessee, where she had achieved a certain level of success.
One day, she traveled to Pittsburgh to hold a meeting, the impact was so great that people began to urge her to move her ministry to Pittsburg. But she was reluctant about such a move having become comfortable with the level of her success in Franklin. She didn’t want to take the risk of moving to an unknown territory.. In one of her meetings in 1950, she jokingly told the congregation that the roof of the Tabernacle in Franklin, literally would have to cave in before she would move to Pittsburgh.
The next week, during thanksgiving, the roof of the building caved in under the weight of the biggest snowfall to hit that area in its history. When the roof fell it seemed a terrible thing had happened, but to Kathryn the message was clear; it was time to move her ministry to Pittsburg. After moving to Pittsburgh, for the next twenty years the success of her ministry exploded beyond what she could have imagined. People from all over the world attended her services and she had world-wide radio and television programs that reached millions. Indeed it seemed the caving in of the Tabernacle at Franklin had only helped to push her into an amazing new level of ministry.
Like Kathryn, sometimes we can become so comfortable at one level of life that God sometimes has to cause ‘the roof to fall’ to get us to move to the next level.
When God supernaturally delivered the Israelites, He took them through the wilderness on the way to the Promised Land. In the wilderness God fed the people “Manna”. And they became used to this steady, consistent food. But after forty years, when they were getting close to the promised land, the scripture says, the manna ceased. Though it seemed as if something had gone terribly wrong, the truth rather was God planned to give them something better. He was talking them to a land flowing with milk and honey, where they would eat bread without scarceness, inhabit houses they didn’t build and own vineyards they didn’t plant. God’s plan was to move them forward to a better place.
Proverbs 4:18 says ‘But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.”
Our path is meant to shine brighter and brighter. This is why as long as we are in alignment with God’s will, when something ceases, it is only an indication that something better is coming. The manna drying up is a sign that you are close to your Promised Land.
Turbulence or difficulties often precede a higher level. When an airplane is about to go up higher passengers put on their seat belts because they are about to experience turbulence. Therefore don’t be discouraged by any seemingly difficult circumstance you may be facing right now. You are about to go higher. The setback is only a set up for your comeback.
In this season of prayer, the power of God will give you the forceful turnaround that will push you to your next level. Indeed your pain will be turned into power, your mourning will be turned into dancing and every stumbling block will become stepping stones to your higher level.
PRAYER: Lord I thank You for moving me higher up to my next level. I know that indeed every trial and test that comes my way will be turned into a testimony in this season. Thank You Lord for causing all things to work together for my good in Jesus Name.
