1 Chronicles 29: 12-13 ‘Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name’

David Lawrence Ramsey is an American radio personality, author, speaker, and finance expert. He is an eight-time national bestselling author and co-hosts The Ramsey Show, which is heard by 23 million listeners every week..
Dave tasted success early in life and by age 26 he was already a millionaire. Though he had become a Christian, Dave relied on himself and never gave God full control of his life.
Eventually, he fell into financial trouble, that made him to declare bankruptcy. With his success, self-reliance and money stripped away, Dave now turned fully to God for help and began spending a lot of time praying.
As he studied the Bible, God taught him about stewardship and he began to understand that everything belonged to God and he was just a manager of God’s resources. — He was reminded of Psalm 24:1 that says “the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof”.
As Dave now became totally dependent on God, out of the ashes of his failure came forth a ministry of teaching people what he was learning about God’s ways of handling money. God prospered his ministry and through radio, television, books, magazines, live events, and financial classes, he has over the years helped millions of people to experience financial turnarounds. Today he is recognized as one of the world’s leading financial experts. Grateful for what God has done in his life, Dave Ramsey uses every opportunity to publicly express His gratitude to God.
It is a risk to keep aspiring to great heights of success, without total reliance on God.
Those who prioritize gold above God can suddenly lose everything without warning.
One attack of misfortune can wipe out everything a man has spent his lifetime laboring to acquire. But the blessings of God make rich and adds no sorrow with it. God’s financial security comes with divine immunity.
In Luke 12, the rich fool was congratulating himself for his wealth acquisition and refused to acknowledge God, he ended up losing everything in one night.
For our lives to be truly meaningful, we must keep giving God all the glory for every progress, knowing that He is our source and sustainer.
1 Chronicles 29: 12-13 King David poured out his heart in gratitude as he blessed the Lord before all the congregation: From a poor shepherd boy God took him to the throne and David remained ever grateful.
When we understand that we own nothing but that all we have and will ever have come from God, then we will always be thankful, grateful and praise-full.
Everything we are, we owe to God; everything we have comes from Him.
Whatever resources we are privileged to acquire on earth belongs to God and is meant to be used to serve Him. We came to this world naked. We didn’t bring anything into this world and it is certain, we can’t take anything out of this world when we leave.
Therefore it is wisdom to celebrate God as the doer of every good thing in our lives and bless Him at all times. As we do so, certainly God’s glory will invade our lives and establish unstoppable progress in all our endeavors.
PRAYER: Lord, please grant me the grace to avoid self-reliance and continually celebrate Your goodness in my life. I know You are always faithful and I am greatly expectant of the miracles, signs and wonders You are set to manifest in my life in this season in Jesus Name. .
