After Hamas’ attack on October 7, 2023, the state of Israel embarked on a massive retaliation that found it fighting wars on seven fronts.
With the barrage of rockets coming from different directions one measure that has protected people in Israeli is availability of multiple bomb shelters.
In 1951, the modern State of Israel instituted a civil defense law requiring all homes, residential buildings and offices to be equipped with shelters or “safe rooms”.
This law became necessary because of Israel’s peculiar security situation. From its creation in 1948, Israel has been under constant threat of attacks from its enemies. This has resulted in the building of over one million public and private bomb shelters, throughout the nation.
These shelters can be sealed in case of an attack with chemical or biological weapons.
Along with the more conventional below-ground bomb shelters, there are underground parking garages that can be converted into nuclear-proof bomb shelters and hospitals able to accommodate thousands.
Entire schools are encased in reinforced concrete with blast-proof windows.
Also in private residences, small “safe rooms” are built to withstand rockets and unconventional weapons attack.
These shelters built mainly from concrete and metals are able to shield the people from the force of incoming rockets. At the warning of air raid sirens, people run to these bomb shelters for safety, as a result many lives have been saved.

Spiritually we live in a world, where fierce spiritual battles are being fought on all fronts. In these battles spiritual arrows and missiles are flying furiously in different directions, night and day.. In this raging battle, the Blood of Jesus is our covenant protection from every destruction and plague.
In Exodus 12:13 God says ‘And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.’
The Blood of Jesus is our spiritual ‘bomb shelter’ that constantly shields us..
The Blood is our stronghold in battles and God’s protective wall of fire around us and our families.

In Zechariah 2:5 God says ‘For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.’

Just as the pillar of fire and cloud protected Israel on their journey to the promised land, we are protected today by the fire of the Holy Ghost and the cloud of God’s glory.
As we remain spiritually fervent through constant prayers, study of the Word and praise, we will always abide under the cover of the Blood, the fire and the glory! Certainly no weapon formed against us shall ever prosper and every tongue that shall arise against us in judgement we shall surely condemn.

PRAYER: Father I thank You for shielding me from every evil through the Blood of Jesus. Today, I receive the grace to walk in Your will so that I can constantly abide under divine cover and enjoy the fullness of my redemptive benefits in Jesus Name.

Dao Sanh was a poor rice farmer whom God transformed greatly and used mightily in the spread of the Gospel in Vietnam.
In August 1996, Dao Sanh’s wife was suddenly paralyzed down the right side of her body. Buddhist Monks could not heal her but when some Christians on an evangelistic mission prayed for her she miraculously recovered.
Overwhelmed by this miracle, Dao Sanh and his wife surrendered their lives to Christ.
When Dao Sanh began to preach the Gospel in his village, the Buddhists were so infuriated they called the police to arrest him. After locking him up for nine days in a cold prison cell, the police released him with a stern warning not to preach Christianity.
But Dao Sanh immediately went back to preaching. Over the next thirteen years Dao Sanh was regularly imprisoned for preaching. His persistence brought many people to The Lord. Eventually the government in Vietnam changed their policy and became tolerant of Christianity.
As a result Dao Sanh was released from prison and given permission to freely preach the Gospel.
After his release, God helped Dao Sanh to connect to the international ministry, Big Life, which empowers believers worldwide to reach and disciple their own People for Jesus Christ. Over the next year alone, God used Dao Sanh, to raise up sixty new Churches in the region.

Dao Sanh’s story is an encouragement for us to be steadfast and persistent in our work for the Lord because our labour shall never be in vain.(1Corinthians 15:58)
Throughout the Scriptures, we find that most of those who were greatly used by God, passed through fiery trials.
The truth is that for every David, there’s a goliath, for every Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, there is a fiery furnace and for every Daniel, there is a lion’s den.
But in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us. Though you may be challenged, through Christ you are destined to always overcome. Despite the trials your story will eventually end in glory and the tests will turn to testimonies..
Though you may sometimes pass through the water and the fire, eventually God will bring you out into your wealthy place.
As you persist in well doing in due season you will surely reap, if you don’t faint.[Galatians 6:9]
As you stay faithful, you will indeed be fruitful.
Though you may go through the fire, you will come forth as gold. [Job 23:10]
Today, as we press deeper in our relationship with God, we can be sure He will cause every trial and tribulation to work together for our good.
No matter the heat of the trial, God will cause us to emerge victorious and we will come out stronger and better.
Those light and momentary afflictions will only end up achieving for us a far more eternal weight of glory.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for Your plans to miraculously turn around every negative condition in my life and cause me to emerge victorious from every challenge. Surely my story this year will end in glory in Jesus Name.

In 1907, Harmon Schmelzenbach and his wife started missionary work in Eswatini, which was then called Swaziland.
However, their ministry did not begin smoothly because they were not accepted by the Swazi people. The Swazi Queen had previously made a vow not to let any white person take up residency in her country.
As Harmon and his wife persevered in prayers, after about a year, the Swazi Queen changed her mind. She agreed to let them buy land and build a mission house.
But as they commenced building, they suffered attacks from the local people. At one point, a group of warriors were given orders to kill them but by divine intervention they were delivered.
Twice the materials for the Church building were burned by their enemies. And after it was finally built, the local witch doctors warned the people not to attend the Church or else they would be cursed. Seeing that the people were too afraid to come, Harmon Schmelzenbach then began to make daily travels to minister to the Swazi people where they lived and worked. Eventually an evangelistic breakthrough came and many people began to flock to Christ from all over the country.
Despite the challenges he faced, Harmon remained passionate and eventually succeeded in his work and paved the way for many other missionaries to come to Africa to spread the Gospel.

To experience success and glory in our endeavors, our inner vision and passion must keep driving us forward despite the oppositions on our path.
Apostle Paul was passionately preaching the Gospel in Lystra when the Jews dragged him out of the city, stoned him and left him for dead. But zeal for the Gospel would not let him die. He not only got up, he went right back into the city and preached there! No opposition could quench the passion in Paul!
To succeed in life what is pushing you forward has to be greater than what is trying to stop you.
You can’t carry the fire of the Holy Ghost and be silenced. That fire will radicalize you and make you unbeatable. It gives us the audacity and authority to withstand challenges.
The truth is many of the challenges we face on earth may appear natural but they stem from deep spiritual roots. Attempting to confront challenges only physically will often lead to failure. But when we fight our battles from a spiritual standpoint, God will cause us to triumph always [2 Corinthians 2:14].
Life is a warfare and there will often be demonic attempts to hinder our vision and mission. We must therefore keep increasing our fire everyday so as to remain stronger than the oppositions.
The secret of contacting spiritual fire is by appearing before God daily in worship and prayer and study of the Word. We need to keep our fire fresh because yesterday’s mantle cannot handle today’s battle. By God’s grace this new month of February, will be our time for renewed spiritual fervency. It will be our season to arise from every spiritual slumber and truly begin to walk in power and glory and keep triumphing always.

PRAYER: Lord, please in this new month, grant me a renewed desire for Your Word and prayer, so that I can be empowered to burn with fire and passion to overcome oppositions and truly experience my own portion of glory-invasion in Jesus Name.

The 3D woman which means Woman of Determination, Distinction & Destiny is a program that encourages women to be determined to walk in the destiny God has purposed for them.
Delia Knox is the visionary and founder of 3DWoman ministry and she co-hosts their top rated television program with Michelle McKinney Hammond and Aimee Sych.
Watching Delia on Television today, it is hard to believe she was bound in a wheelchair for 23 years.
Delia, became paralysed after a drunk driver hit her in 1987. Doctors told her she would likely be confined to a wheelchair for the rest of her life. But Delia believed God still had great plans for her and despite the paralysis, she was determined to live her life.
As an accomplished Gospel singer, she refused to give up and continued her work in the music ministry, singing from her wheel chair.
She later got married and in August of 2010, she and her husband attended a Church conference. During the service, the conference host began to pray for Delia. As he prayed, Delia began to feel sensations in her legs for the first time in over two decades. As she felt the power of God come all over her, Delia suddenly stunned everyone as she got up and started walking!
After believing for 23 years, finally, she saw the manifestation of God’s promises being fulfilled right before her eyes.
Her healing opened the door to expanding the scope of her ministry, and since then Delia has been singing God’s praises all over the world.

Despite the overwhelming odds against her, Delia Knox eventually overcame through tenacious faith in God.
The truth is that God will never disappoint the expectations of those who put their trust in Him .
In Mark 5:25-34, the woman with the issue of blood kept pressing forward to touch Jesus. It wasn’t easy pushing through the hostile crowd that saw her as unclean, but she didn’t give up and in the end she got her miracle.
Likewise, we need to press forward this year, despite discouraging situations until we see the manifestation of glory in our lives.
In this new month of February we are in a season where things are about to suddenly change. Our recent spiritual investment in fasting and praying will result in sudden miraculous turnarounds and glory-invasion in every area of our lives.
We may have passed through trials and tribulations in the past, but now is our season to come forth as gold (Job 23:10 1)
It is our time of reaping after we have spiritually invested in fasting and prayers. Because Joy is the sickle of harvest, this is the time to praise God like never before. In every situation keep blessing God and keep judging Him faithful.
As long as we walk in line with His Word, we can be sure He will fulfill His promises in our lives.
According to Deuteronomy 28:1-2, as you keep obeying God’s Word, His blessings will chase you down and overtake you. Overtake means “to take by surprise”.
Certainly, God is going to surprise you in this new month of February. He will exceed your expectations and cause your cup to run over with amazing blessings!

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to keep my focus on Your Word at all times. I know that what You have promised to do, You shall surely perform in my life in this month in Jesus Name.

In his book, “Spiritual Hunger”, John G. Lake recounted the price William Seymour paid to see the Azuza Street revival. He said  prior to the revival, the Lord had led Seymour into a deep life of consecration, where he assigned 5 hours every day to  prayer. This continued for three and a half years. One day as he prayed the Holy Ghost said to him, ‘there are better things to be had in the spirit, but they must be sought out with faith and prayer.’ This so quickened Seymour’s soul that he increased  his hours of prayer to 7 hours a day and continued to pray  for another 2 years longer.
Eventually, in April 1906, the fire fell at their mission house on Azuza Street in Los Angeles, California.  This glorious outpouring of the Holy Spirit is considered to be the beginning of the modern Pentecostal movement.
During this revival led by William Seymour, people came from different parts of the world to encounter God. Services were held day and night. God’s presence was manifested through unending testimonies and unusual phenomena that accompanied the meetings. One of these phenomena was reports of fire emanating from the roof of the building but when the fire department arrived, they would find no fire.
Miracles, and phenomena such as these, made the Azuza street revival one of the greatest revivals ever witnessed in the history of the world.

Before the fire fell at Azuza, it first started burning in William Seymour’s life. Years before the revival erupted, he had been praying fervently for it.
Before the Glory of God can glow outwardly through us, the fire must have started burning already in our lives.
The inner flame of devotion to God, must first begin in our hearts until it  reflects brightly to the world around us.
The fire  of the Holy Ghost that erupted on the day of Pentecost is what Jesus came to the earth to ignite
Jesus said in Luke 12:49 ‘I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!’
This fire is desperately needed today to stop the tide of sin and evil in the world, from overcoming us.
In these end times, we need to let this fire constantly burn through our lives and keep us sanctified. This is necessary because there is great glory coming upon the Church. Jesus is coming for a glorious Church without spot or wrinkle. This means that before Jesus comes, the Church will be reigning in glory. This glory is the portion of every believer.
Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭19‬ says that in the last days God will shew wonders in Heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; Blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
Indeed God has a plan to manifest His glorify through us, therefore we must keep our fire burning so that the enemy does not derail us through sin.
Every believer has the responsibility to maintain a hot spiritual life, through diligent study of the Bible and fervent prayers. At all times, our light needs to shine before men so brightly that they will indeed see our good works and glorify our Father in Heaven.

PRAYER: Lord,  please let Your fire burn continually in me. May I never compromise or allow my heart to grow cold, so that I can be ready to carry the glory You have ordained for me in this season in Jesus Name.

Quite amazing is the story of Ron Roberson who went from being a homeless drug addict to a respected journalist. He went from eating out of trash cans to interacting with prominent individuals in his role as a CNN news anchor. His transformation showcases the power of faith in God’s Word.
Ron’s childhood was marked by such abuse from his alcoholic father, that he ran away from home at age 13.
During his teenage years, Ron became a drug addict. As his drug use escalated, he lost everything and ended up homeless. His situation grew so dire that he felt completely destitute and desperate, wandering the streets for a year and a half, begging for money. The turning point came when he decided to end his life by jumping from a hotel window.Standing on the 10th floor of the Frontier Hotel, ready to jump, Ron heard an audible voice that changed his life. The voice said, “You’ve tried everything else. Why don’t you try Me?” At that moment, Ron stepped back from the window, fell to his knees, and prayed, surrendering his life to Jesus. This marked the beginning of his transformation. The very next day, Ron found a job, and no longer craved for drugs.
Ron devoted himself to serving God. As his faith grew, opportunities began to open up until he became a respected CNN news anchor .
Today, Ron uses his platform to inspire others, proving that no matter how dire the circumstances, through Christ a change is possible.

Just like coming in contact with Jesus radically changed the life of Ron, God wants to positively transform our story from shame to glory.
By His Spirit, God wants to open up beautiful new chapters in your life.
He wants to transform you to the extent that you become a wonder to yourself and to everyone around you.
God is in the life change business. He can take that which is crooked and fix it. He can take that which is bent and straighten it out. He can take that which is shattered and put it back together.
When you give Jesus full control, He enables you to overcome failures and rise above your self-imposed limitations.
Through seeing yourself in the mirror of God’s Word, you will be transformed daily into His glorious image.
In Zephaniah 3:19 God states His desire to take us from shame to fame.and undo all that afflict us.
From the dunghill, God is able to lift us to sit with princes..
As we come to the end of the month of January, today , it is a good time thank God for the glory He has already begun to manifest in our lives.
Henceforth our path will only keep shining brighter and brighter .
As you hold on to God’s Word and remain strong in faith, what may appear like trouble and turbulence, will end up leading to a change of level, greater growth and increase.
And as we continue to go deeper in our relationship with God, we will see more of His goodness and we will keep going from glory to greater glory.

PRAYER: LORD, I praise You for all Your amazing goodness in my life in this month of January. I am truly grateful for Your mercy, grace and favor which has brought me this far and will continue to see me through in Jesus Name.

By society’s standards, Michael Faraday had no chance at success. His father was a poor blacksmith and his mother served as a maid. Michael hardly had formal education, because his family couldn’t afford it. He only attended a local school until he was 13 before dropping out due to financial hardship. He then began working at a local bookshop. This job provided an opportunity for young Faraday to educate himself. And during the next seven years, he educated himself on a wide range of scientific subjects. Faraday was a devout Christian who desired to please God and he looked to God to see him through. Indeed God helped him and by divine orchestration Faraday came in contact with a great scientist, who employed him to work as his assistant. Through divine favor and hard work, Faraday would grow to become a great scientist himself, recording many remarkable achievements. His discoveries greatly helped technological advancements.
In the study of science, the unit of electrical capacitance, with the symbol F, is named ‘the Farad’ in his honor.

Faraday could have had good excuses not to be successful, after all his background had already set the pace of poverty for him. Yet he refused to accept the sleight of hand fate handed him. He dared to believe that with God he could break the limitations.
The decision to fear God and walk in obedience to His Word can change anyone’s story.
What God requires of us is to love Him, walk in all His ways, live to please Him and He will take care of everything else.(Deuteronomy 10:12).
Anyone who is willing to obey God and pay the price of diligence, will surely become outstanding despite the hurdles and hindrances on their path .
God has destined each of us to manifest His glory on the earth, but often times we allow excuses to limit our progress.
In these end-times Heaven is waiting on us to do the greater works Christ said we will do.
It is therefore time to shake off limitations and press forward to our high calling.
The solutions the world needs to their many problems, God has placed within us. This is why it is important to pay whatever price it takes to bring forth the gifts and callings within us.
Through Christ we can do all things.
It doesn’t matter the constraints or challenges, we may face, we can trust God to do exceedingly abundantly above all we could ever think or imagine. As we remain faithful in the little, there is gradually coming a tipping point of sudden overflow that will turn us into living wonders.

PRAYER: Lord, please enable me to pay whatever price it takes to accomplish Your will for my life and manifest the glory destined for me this year in Jesus Name.

In Norway, is the town of Rjukan which is known as one of the darkest cities on earth. For five months in a year, the town does not see the sun. The town has no direct sunlight from September to March because of the mountains surrounding it.
During these months of darkness, the inhabitants of Rjukan were often in desperate need of the sun for their overall well-being and also for vitamin D which is vital for health.
In order to give the locals at least a bit of sun, during these dark months, the town embarked on a very expensive project of installing mirrors on the mountains that could reflect sunlight down into the town.
In 2013, the town officially installed solar-powered mirrors that are placed 450-meters above, which track the movement of the sun across the town. As a result – the sunlight shines down on a small area of the town, where the town square is located.
The idea of spending hundreds of thousands of dollars just to have a little sunshine, was criticized by some people, who saw the project as a waste of money.
But many of these critics changed their minds after seeing the positive effect on the townspeople who were grateful to have much-needed sunshine, no matter how little, during the five months of darkness.

The light of the Sun is crucial to the existence and well-being of man.
Likewise, man has a great need for spiritual light because the whole world lies in darkness and wickedness (1 John 5:18-19].
Psalm 74:20 says that the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.
From these spiritually dark regions, man is oppressed and suffers all manner of calamities.
The Bible says that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against spiritual wickedness and the rulers of the darkness of this world. And the only way to break their power is through the introduction of the light from God.
Jesus died and resurrected for the purpose of bringing light into the world and destroying the works of darkness.
The power in His Blood is ordained for our freedom from every shackle and bondage of the enemy.. By the Blood we are translated from failure to breakthrough, from sickness to health, from death to life, from weakness to power.
Jesus is the Sun of righteousness and just as the sun shines to keep away death and sustain life on earth, so also Christ’s light shines to keep away the forces of darkness from us and infuse us with His life..
Access to the light of Christ is through His Word, it is the entrance of His Word that gives light.
Today, as we commit to loading our hearts with His Word, His glory will invade our lives and cause us to walk in dominion, power and all round victory.

PRAYER: Father, thank You, for the light of Your Word that is shattering every darkness around me and establishing me in dominion and glory. Thank You Lord for making me triumphant and victorious over every enemy of my glorious destiny in Jesus Name.

In 1864, four prospectors were down on their luck and about ready to give up their quest for fortune.
They had travelled eagerly from their homes to Southwest Montana, formerly known as Gold West Country, which drew people far and wide to look for gold.
On their way to Montana, they had spotted a stream that had signs of containing gold. They had stopped and set up camp, but unfortunately after searching they found only minimal signs of gold. Abandoning the spot, they eagerly continued on their original destination to Montana.
However after reaching the destination, their quest proved futile. Having spent 6 months exploring western Montana and finding no gold, on July 14, 1864, these men were desperate, knowing that if they did not strike it rich soon they would need to return home empty handed.
As these prospectors were returning they remembered the small stream where they had earlier searched for gold and decided to give it one more last try, after which they were prepared to give up and go home.
Interestingly this place they had earlier ignored on their way to greater prospects was where they amazingly found a great gold deposit that surpassed their imagination.
It would prove to be the second biggest placer gold deposit in Montana, producing some $19 million worth of gold in just four years.
Due to the gold rush that followed, the area became established as the town of Helena, which would become a wealthy city, with approximately 50 millionaires inhabiting the area by 1888.

Many times, we miss out on God’s best because we gave up too soon. And some of the times we feel the need to give up, may have been when we were closest to our victory.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. The worst failure of life is failure to try. Those who try again will triumph again.
Every man fails at some point, but not all accept defeat. Those who refuse to quit, eventually win.
The right angle to approach to life is the “try angle.” Keep trying because something is about to happen. Arise and try to fight again. Never fold your hands if you don’t want life to fold up on you. No matter how difficult the road, keep your faith strong in God and keep moving forward.
You are capable of much more accomplishment than you realize. You have potentials for greater victories within you. It is not about you, it is about Christ in you, the hope of glory. It is not about your capability, it is about His ability at work in you. So do not limit yourself to present circumstances. Do not let present troubles and temptations stop you from pressing into the great destiny God has ordained for you.
Our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a great weight of glory that will last forever. (2 Corinthians 4:17)
Therefore in every situation, let’s continually bless God and let His praise always be on our lips.
You may have been digging for long, but suddenly, out of the ordinary, God will cause you to strike gold. God will exceed your expectations and amaze you with His goodness.
In this season, you’ll see amazing favor, victory, dominion and increase as God causes His glory to manifest through you to amaze the world around you!

PRAYER; Lord I thank You for granting me the grace to keep pressing forward in seeking You. By Your grace I will not be discouraged nor give up. And as I keep praising You, I know indeed my miracle is on the way in Jesus Name.

1 Peter 4:12-14 ‘Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.’

In the country of Laos in Southeast Asia, Christians often face severe persecutions. There, communism is dominant, majority of the population are Buddhists, while Christians are in the minority.
Christian activities are heavily monitored by the communist authorities, and house Churches are forced to meet underground as they are considered ‘illegal gatherings’.
Life is especially difficult for new converts to the Christian faith, who are at risk of persecution from their family and the local authorities. This can involve damage to their property, confiscation of their possessions and fines.
Few years ago there was public outcry over the News of Seven Laos Christians who were thrown out of their homes for their faith.
These seven Christians were driven out by local authorities and forced to live in the open and in the surrounding forests despite a national law that was supposed to protect their free exercise of religion.
Some other Christians in Laos languish in prison because they would not give in to the government’s condition for their release, which is to recant their faith in Christ.
Yet, despite these persecutions, many believers in Laos count it as a great joy to suffer for the sake of Christ. Their persistence and refusal to give up their faith continues to strengthen believers in other nations. Rather than diminish in the face of persecution, the Church in Laos is increasing and waxing stronger to the glory of God.

We should always maintain our joy no matter what comes our way. The truth is that trials come to everyone at some points in life.
Isaiah 43:2 says, ”When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned.” The Bible didn’t say ‘if’ but ‘when.’
This means we will all surely pass through the fire sometimes.
Apostle Peter says we should not think these fiery trials to be strange, but rather we are to count it all joy.(1 Peter 4:12-14)
Joy is a spiritual force that empowers us for victory. It is the mystery behind rising above obstacles because the joy of the Lord is our strength. The challenges and trials that come our way are often turned around by God to manifest His glory in us.
In those seasons of temptations where it seems we are in the fiery furnace, if we can focus on blessing God, He will turn the test to a testimony and it will all end in praise. Therefore, no matter what you are going through, always remain joyful and give God all the glory. The battle is not yours but the Lord’s.
Instead of looking at what the enemy may be doing, rather use the time to praise God for what He has done and is able to do in your life.
Don’t ever let the devil steal your joy. Shake off the gloom and let your voice boom with praise. Sing in the midst of your stress. Shout Hallelujah, for indeed the Lord your God is mighty and He will yet do greater things.
Today, never allow any condition to stop your praise. Keep counting it all joy and keep blessing the Lord, because He is at work to manifest His glory in you and through you.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to always maintain my joy. Let nothing ever stop the continual flow of your praise from my lips. I thank You for indeed manifesting Your glory in me and doing wonders without numbers in my life in Jesus Name.
