Recent researches have found that death rates usually spiked during the Christmas and New Year’s holiday.
In 2015, there was a report in the
Washington Post that cited studies that showed there were greater chances of people dying during Christmas or New Year’s Day period than on any other time of the year.
According to the researchers, the last days of each year are often considered the most fatal days of the year. In some nations, the Christmas period in particular often records the highest rate of death.
There seems no clear indication of the reason for this.
However, there are a number of popular theories that try to explain it. A potential reason is that hospitals may be understaffed around the holidays, and their most experienced workers may be taking time off. That could lead to reduced performance and reduced ability to save lives.
Some think excess consumption of alcohol and rich foods could be the culprit. Others speculate it is linked to the winter weather. However, a study in New Zealand showed that even when Christmas and New Year are celebrated in summer, a surge in deaths still occurs. Scientists remain baffled by this phenomenon and continue to seek for answers that could explain it.

Spiritually, we can understand that the spike in deaths during these festivities is the enemy’s attempt to turn the joy of people into sorrow.
For many people, Christmas is simply that time of the year for partying, frolicking, drinking, with no attention paid to spiritual things.
The spiritually careless and ignorant people thus become easy targets for the enemy.
While the Christmas festivities are fun, we should never allow ourselves to lose spiritual focus.
Therefore,while we celebrate, we should always remain spiritually vigilant and prayerful.

What it means is that spiritually we do not go on holiday.
While the enemy works to increase the death rate this season, we should be sober, and prayerfully watch our every step.
However, as believers we know that we are exempted from evil by the Blood of Jesus. Psalm 65:11 tells us that God crowns the year for us with His goodness and good things. His blessings make rich and add no sorrow with it. Indeed for us, the end of the year is a better time, because better is the end of the matter than the beginning thereof. Therefore it doesn’t matter the evil plots of the enemy, our case continues to be different. Indeed the rod of the wicked shall never rest upon the lot of the righteous. By covenant we are preserved and protected always from the evil in the world.
By God’s grace and mercies we will never be victims. Through study of the Word, fervent prayers, and passionate worship, we will continue to hide ourselves deeper in God’s Presence, where no evil can touch us.

PRAYER: Lord, please during this festive period, guide me always by Your Spirit, and enable me to escape every trap of the enemy in Jesus Name.

Christmas is typically a peak selling season for retailers in many nations around the world. Sales increase dramatically as people purchase gifts, decorations, and supplies to celebrate. Globally, sales run into trillions of dollars during the Christmas holidays and the shopping season can start as early as September.
For many families, the Christmas season is mapped out for celebrations and activities. It is a time for traveling, family get-togethers, parties, eating copious amounts of delicious food, and opening presents.
However, this cultural celebrations of Christmas have made it hard to focus on the reason for the season.
The reason for Christmas seems to be almost lost in the hustle and bustle of the season.
Christmas is meant to be the time we remember Christ’s birth, but rather globally today it has become the reason for hyper-commercial frenzy
While people focus on decorations and gift buying many overlook the greatest GIFT that has been given to mankind.

From the moment Adam and Eve sinned, God planned to send a special gift to the earth that would redeem humanity.
At the appointed time, that gift came into the world wrapped in swaddling clothes and placed in a manger….” {Luke 2:7}.

Jesus came to bring an end to the enemy’s threefold agenda of killing, stealing and destroying.
God’s Son came to free the captives and lift the burdens of men. His coming to earth means that God has come to tabernacle with us.

Jesus has come as our Savior, our healer and our deliverer.
Through Him, every chain of captivity has been broken off and we are able to serve and worship God in spirit and in truth.
Through His Blood we have been washed from sin and now have the victory over the devil, hell and the grave.
These are the things we celebrate in this season. As believers, we know personally the huge difference Christ has made in our lives. Out of gratitude for what God has done for us, we should respond by continually praising and blessing Him for the amazing gift of Christ.Truly, the celebration of Christmas is the celebration of the Child that was born to save the world and set us free from bondage.
Therefore this season should be a yearly reminder of how God loved us so much that He sent His only begotten son to save us from perishing. That is our testimony. That is what we celebrate.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for the amazing gift You have given to us through the coming of Christ. In appreciation of Your gift, please grant me the grace to praise and glorify You always in Jesus name. .

DAILY READING •Acts 7:23-8:1a; Deuteronomy 31-32; Job 19

In 2011, Pastor Gustavo Banda and his wife moved to Cañón de Alacrán, or Scorpion’s Canyon, on the U.S-Mexico border.
Pastor Gustavo Banda moved there after hearing from the Lord in a dream to go there and build a Church. He obeyed by faith and travelled to Scorpion’s Canyon even though there was nothing promising in that place.
There were no paved roads, no sewage system and crime was rampant. Most of the people there were poor farmers.
Pastor Banda and his wife were touched by the overwhelming needs of the community and tried to help.
For eight months, they worked day and night to fulfill the mandate from God to build a Church in Scorpion’s Canyon. Pastor Banda had no clue about what was really going to happen, but he trusted in God’s Word and promises and knew God was going to do something special.
That year, the Church “Ambassadors of Jesus Church’, was born in the heart of Scorpion’s Canyon.
Banda held services on Sunday, then hit the rugged roads the rest of the week going house-to-house, ministering to physical and spiritual needs.
Five years later, in 2016, things drastically changed, when thousands of Haitians, escaping poverty and natural disasters in their nation, began to make a dangerous 7,000-mile journey to the U.S-Mexico border.
Many landed on the church’s doorsteps.Within months, 22,000 Haitians had arrived in the city and
the Church became a place of refuge.
Since then, migrants from all parts of the world have passed through the doors of the Church which Pastor Banda built trusting only in God’s promises.
The Church has become a safehouse to many lives that could have been lost, as thousands sleep there and receive physical and spiritual care.
Pastor Gustavo started the Church by faith back in 2011, and today, he has seen God’s divine purpose manifested as thousands of migrants from around the world find hope and salvation in Christ in that place.

After Jesus was born, Mary and Joseph took the long trip to Jerusalem, for the purification rites.
As they walked into the temple at Jerusalem, there was an old man named Simeon who was already waiting there.He had come by the Spirit into the temple that day to see the manifestation of God’s promise to him. God had promised him that he would not die until he had seen the Messiah, the Savior.
When Simeon saw Mary and Joseph with the Christ Child in their arms, he knew that this was the moment that he had been waiting for all of his life. He took the baby Jesus up in his arms and praised God. He blessed God and said, ‘ for my eyes have seen your salvation”
Simeon had been living in expectation, watching and waiting, and never giving up hope until he saw God’s promise manifested.
Truly as long as we have faith, we will see the manifestation of God’s promises made to us.
A prophecy you don’t believe will not find expression in your life because every prophecy delivers primarily by faith.
When you believe, there will be a performance. (Luke 1:45).
Therefore to see prophesies fulfilled in our lives, we must work on our faith.
We need to persevere in prayers, warring with prophesies, even if we do not see anything happening immediately.
Truly, we have need of the patience to persist until we obtain the promises.
Persistence means not becoming discouraged no matter how contrary things may seem.
Whatever, we are believing God for, as we remain steadfast in faith, God will not only answer, but will exceed our expectations.

Numbers 23:19 says ‘God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?’

Indeed it is God’s plan to perform every Word of prophesy over our lives this year. But to be correctly positioned to take delivery, we must remain expectant.
As we remain strong in faith giving glory to God, surely we shall see our Isaac and laugh at last before this year ends

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You Lord for the grace to wait for Your promises. Certainly, I know You are able to do what You have promised to do in my life in this season in Jesus Name.

France was the first modern nation to introduce universal military conscription as a condition of citizenship. This was done in order to provide manpower for the country’s military at the time of the French Revolution. Conscription in France continued in various forms and during the reign of Napoleon Bonaparte.
By January 23 1808, the law required all men who reached twenty years of age in a particular year to be eligible for conscription for five years. But in the rare case that you could get someone else to take your place, you were exempt.
On one occasion the authorities came to conscript a certain man, but he refused to go, saying, “I was killed two years ago.” At first they questioned his sanity, but he insisted that this was in fact the case. He claimed that the records would show that he had been conscripted two years previously and that he had been killed in action. “How can that be?” they questioned. “You are alive now.”
He explained that when his name came up, a close friend said to him, “You have a large family, but I’m not married and nobody is dependent on me. I’ll take your name and address and go in your place.”
The friend had been killed in action.
The records upheld the man’s claim. The case was referred to Napoleon Bonaparte. himself, who decided that the country had no legal claim on that man. He was free because another man had died in his place.

In the greatest display of love this world has ever seen, Jesus took our place and paid in full the wages of our sin.
We owed a debt we could not pay; He paid a debt He did not owe. Jesus’ final words on the cross were: “Tetelestai. It is finished”. That means ‘paid in full’.
Each year, when we celebrate Christmas, we remember the miracle of the incarnation – God becoming flesh for us. It’s a wonderful time of joy and thankfulness to God for his amazing gift to the world.
But Christmas should also remind us of why He was born. Jesus was born so that one day, He could die for us and redeem humanity.
The spotless Lamb of God took upon Himself the sins of the world so that we can become the righteousness of God in Him. Before Jesus’ death, we stood guilty in God’s sight doomed and condemned. We were without hope. But that changed when Jesus shed His Blood. And that Blood today now speaks victory for us.
It doesn’t matter what it is you are confronted with, it doesn’t matter how big or small any negative issue you have to deal with, Christ has already paid for it in the fullest and to the outermost. Our savior suffered every pain to ensure we never have to suffer again in this life. Jesus took our place and suffered for our sake.

2 Corinthians 5:21 says “for He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

Today, Christ is no longer on the cross and neither is He in the grave; He is raised up and seated at the right hand of God in Heaven. The benefit of the price He paid has legally been credited in our favour. And this is why affliction is not permitted to rise a second time in your life. By the power in the Blood, every satanic agenda against our lives have been rendered useless. Indeed through Christ we are now redeemed to win in every situation of life. Through the Blood we have been set free to live lives that continually bring glory to God.
Having been purchased by His Blood, our lives are now to show forth the praises of God through continual manifestations of miracles signs and wonders around us.

PRAYER: Lord, I am truly grateful that by the power in Your Blood, I am revived to live a life of glory. Thank You Lord for Your steadfast love and may Your praise continually be on my lips in Jesus Name.

DAILY READING – Acts 6; Deuteronomy 28; Job 17

Pastor Kevin Ramsby is the founder of an evangelistic outreach ministry and is also a national speaker and author.
On August 3, 2009, he was home alone. They had just finished a long week of outreach ministry at Revival Tabernacle (AG) in nearby Highland Park, and his wife and children had gone to visit family members in another town.
He woke up at 3 a.m. to the sound of breaking glass downstairs. He sprang from his bed, grabbed a tennis racket, and started down the stairs. As an inner-city pastor, he understood the dangers of living and ministering in that community, but he also knew it was a mission field to which God had called him.
Turning on the lights and banging the tennis racket against the walls, he yelled, “This is my house! Get out!”
When he reached the bottom of the stairs, he was shocked to see a man come around the corner with a knife.
The intruder immediately stabbed him in the abdomen.
The man kept repeatedly just stabbing and asking, ‘Where is the money?’ and ‘Where are the keys?’” Then the thief left.
Falling on the cold ceramic floor, Pastor Kevin thought his life was over. But as he began praying, he was infused with energy and hope. His insides had come out, he stood to his feet and carrying his intestines, was able to make it out the side door, to a neighbor’s house.
His neighbor called 911. When Pastor Kevin arrived at the hospital, the doctors discovered he had 37 stab wounds.
The doctors and the nurses really didn’t think he had any chance of making it. But amazingly, they discovered that none of his major organs was damaged.
Pastor Kevin’s recovery only took 5 months.
Looking back, Pastor Kevin has remained ever grateful to God as he knew he was not alone that night. To have 37 stab wounds and to have no organs and arteries hit, was clear evidence that God was there that night keeping him during that struggle.
Since then, there’s not a day that goes by that he doesn’t thank God for life, as he sees every single day as a gift from God.

Truly, every day is a gift from God and we must learn to receive it with joy.
Though we may sometimes face great challenges, Christ always causes us to triumph. This is why we count it all joy if we face trials.
Certainly, when it is all said and done we will have the victory.

The message translation of James 1:2-4 says “Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors.” (James 1:2- MSG)

The fire of trials reveals the power of Christ in us. The storm ends up making us stronger and better.
The very thing the enemy thought would steal your joy, let it become the very reason why you praise God.
Certainly, God is in control of our lives. What the enemy meant for evil, God is turning it all around for our good.
Therefore, rather than focus on trials, let us use every opportunity to bless God.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 says ‘ In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.’

In everything we keep counting it all joy.
Joy is the mystery behind rising above obstacles because the joy of the Lord is our strength.
As we remain connected to God’s presence where there is fullness of joy, we will never fall no matter how hard the wind blows.
Having come to the last month of the year, we are in that season where God will be crowning our efforts with good things. It is our season of dramatic positive changes.
In this season we are going to experience miracles of divine acceleration, multiplication and restoration. Whatever the enemy thought he has stolen from you this year, God will restore in multiple fold. And when God restores, He restores completely so that there will be no sign of the troubles you’ve been through. People may look at you afterwards and never believe that you are the same person that came out of the fiery trial, because there will be no trace of fire around you. Rather your life will be a testimony of God’s faithfulness and His unfailing goodness.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to always give thanks to You at all times. No matter what I may face today, I know You are able to see me through and turn every test into a big testimony for me in Jesus Name.

Isaiah 61:3 ‘ To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;’

DAILY READING; Acts 5:17-42; Deuteronomy 25-27; Job 16

Joseph Stalin, the former dictator leader of the Soviet Union was born as a frail child, to a father who was a cobbler, and a mother who was a washerwoman. At age 7, Stalin contracted smallpox, leaving his face scarred.
A few years later he was injured in a carriage accident which left his arm slightly deformed.
Because of his scarred face and deformed arm, the other village children often mocked him terribly, instilling in him a sense of inferiority. Because of this, Stalin grew up bitter and developed a cruel streak for those who crossed his path. He also began a quest for power to be feared and respected by others.
Stalin’s mother, a devout Russian Orthodox Christian, wanted him to become a priest and got him enrolled in Tiflis Theological Seminary in 1894.
Though he at first did well in school, it seemed he also began to develop deep hatred for Christianity and religion in general. Things became worse when he came in contact with Messame Dassy, a secret organization that supported Georgian independence from Russia. Stalin left school in 1899 and chose not to return home, but rather devoted his time to the revolutionary movement.
In 1901, he joined the Social Democratic Labor Party and worked full-time for the revolutionary movement.
As he rose in ranks in the party, the feelings of bitterness and vindictiveness from his childhood continued to fester. And when his time came to rule Russia, the negative emotions in him found full expression.
Stalin was very Anti-Religion, particularly Anti-Christian and he murdered tens of millions of Christians, and destroyed many historical churches and cathedrals.. Many synagogues, and mosques were also shut down or destroyed.
While executing his destructive plans, on March 5, 1953 Stalin suddenly died after a massive stroke that paralysed him and made him speechless.

Sometimes, people pass through awful, painful tragedies in life that seem to justify their harboring hatred and unforgiveness.
But, allowing bitterness to take root in the heart can lead to deadly consequences.
Living with bitterness, self-pity, anger and resentment will only poison a person’s heart and shorten their lifespan.
The Scripture says ‘offenses will come’ but we shouldn’t make the mistake of holding on to them. Don’t go through life focusing on what people did to you, rather learn to let go of the past and move on.
You cannot undo the past, but you can do something about the present and future.
Certainly, we cannot allow bitterness and anger to take up valuable time, energy and space in our lives.
One of the key strategies of the devil is to keep people depressed through past traumatic experiences, so as to weigh them down with the spirit of heaviness.
But Isaiah 61:3 tells us that the spirit of heaviness needs to be exchanged with the garment of praise.

As believers, we must avoid anything that tries to weigh us down spiritually. This is why it is important to forgive people no matter what they have done to us.
It does not really matter why someone may choose to hurt us, what matters is that we recognize that forgiveness is a necessity.
As we draw close to the end of this year, it is a good time to look back and make a deliberate choice to forgive anyone who has hurt us. The forgiving process means letting go and leaving all judgment to God.
When we realize the vast extent of how much Jesus has forgiven us, it will make it easy to forgive others.
As we learn to let go of hurts, the spirit of heaviness will lift from us and we will receive the garment of praise that will enable us to truly worship God in spirit and truth.
In this season, as we surround ourselves with high praises, certainly the joy of the Lord will be our strength and cause us to ride upon our high places!

PRAYER: Lord, by Your grace I overcome every attempt of the enemy to create heartache, depression and bitterness in my life. Rather, I receive the garment of praise to enable me to always worship You with Joy and gladness in Jesus Name.

Psalm 19:1 ‘The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth His handywork.’

DAILY READING; • Acts 5:1-16; Deuteronomy 23-24; Job 15

From our vantage point on Earth, the Sun may appear like an unchanging source of light and heat in the sky. But the Sun is a dynamic star, constantly changing and sending energy out into space.
According to Scientists, the Sun is a 4.5 billion-year-old yellow dwarf star – a hot glowing ball of hydrogen and helium – at the center of our solar system. It’s about 93 million miles from Earth and it’s our solar system’s only star. Without the Sun’s energy, life as we know it could not exist on our home planet.
The Sun is the largest object in our solar system. Its gravity holds the solar system together, keeping everything from the biggest planets to the smallest bits of debris in orbit around it.
The Sun could not harbor life as we know it because of its extreme temperatures and radiation. Yet life on Earth is only possible because of the Sun’s light and energy.
Even though the Sun is the center of our solar system and essential to our survival, it’s only an average star in terms of its size. Stars up to 100 times larger have been found. And many solar systems have more than one star.
But the Sun is far more massive than our home planet, the earth:.
It would take more than 330,000 Earths to match the mass of the Sun, and it would take 1.3 million Earths to fill the Sun’s volume.

The truth is that information like this can be hard for our minds to comprehend.
How can we begin to imagine the vastness of creation. Even Scientists are left speechless and brought to their wits’ end in trying to understand or explain the wisdom and depth of all God has created.
Looking at the majesty of nature, we can only stand in awe of God. We can only be full of wonder and magnify His Holy Name.
Certainly, the ways of God are past searching out.

Psalm 19:1 says ‘The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth His handywork.’

All of creation declares God’s glory. We serve the mighty and awesome God!
There is no one like Him!
Certainly the God who accomplishes the great wonders in creation is also able to perform wonders in our own lives.
The Bible says that God counts the stars and knows them all by name. (Psalm 147:4). If He knows the stars by name, He certainly knows each one of us by name.
He is perfectly in control of our lives and destinies.
And if the Word of God has not failed in ordering the universe, how can it then fail in ordering our lives.
As long as we are in the will of God we do not need to bother because our lives are following a divinely orchestrated course. Things do not just happen; there is a pattern that is gradually unfolding.
If God can hang the earth on nothing and fling the stars into space, is there anything too hard for Him to do in our lives?
In this season, let us invest in the diligent study of the Word so that our eyes will be opened to behold the wondrous things that God wants to do for us. Certainly, as far as our eyes can see it shall be given unto us.
Let us therefore continually bless the Lord at all times for His awesome and wonderful plans for us. As we praise Him, surely we shall end this year exceedingly well and be turned into living wonders.

PRAYER; Lord I thank and bless You for the great and marvelous things You are set to do in my life.
Lord, please help me to align myself with Your Word, so that my life can be ordered to manifest what You have ordained for me in Jesus Name..

Leviticus 6:12 ‘And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it.’

DAILY READING; Acts 4:23-37; Deuteronomy 21-22; Job 14

On the 25th of December 2003, a Guinean Boeing 727 stopped over in Benin during a flight to Beirut and Dubai. As more and more passengers boarded the plane, the pilots started to become concerned about the weight of the plane. They expressed their displeasure to a company manager, about the plane’s ability to take off with so much weight.
But they didn’t take more serious action to address the situation because there was a schedule to make and they would be in trouble if they refused to fly. As the overloaded plane rumbled off down the runway, it failed to become airborne, struck a concrete building, landed back on the beach, and careened headlong into the Atlantic Ocean, where it broke apart and sank within seconds. At least 141 people died in the crash and during the struggle to escape the submerged airplane.
The crash was the deadliest crash in Benin’s aviation history.

The pilots knew something was wrong, but they chose to be complacent, when they could have taken more drastic action to arrest the situation. Investigations concluded that the crash was primarily caused by overloading of the plane.
On the journey of life, we should not postpone or procrastinate, before taking the time to fix the things that are wrong.
We must “lay aside every weight” that would drag us down. Many times before a calamity, the Holy Spirit often warns us.
We may notice that our spiritual fire is going down or sense that we are losing our passion for the things of God.
At such times, we should immediately locate where we may be missing it and come in repentance before God.
We must realize that we are in a spiritual battle with an enemy who is intent on killing stealing and destroying and, we can’t afford to give him any room in our lives.
Anywhere you notice a break in the hedge around you, repair it immediately so that the serpent doesn’t bite.
Don’t be so busy that you don’t have the time to seek God and put your spiritual life in order. Stay in prayers, study the Word and seek the Lord, until the fire is reignited on your prayer altar.

1 Corinthians 6:19 says that we are the temple of God and one of the important features of God’s temple is the Altar.

God commanded the priests in Leviticus 6:12– “the fire shall be ever burning upon the altar it shall NEVER go out!”
The same principle applies to us today. The fire must always be burning on the Altar of our hearts, that’s how we can shine forth as light in the darkness of the world.
Maintaining an intimate relationship with God through constant fellowship in His Word, prayers and worship, keeps us spiritually on fire.
God’s Presence surrounding us, prevents
the enemy from having room to attack or cause damages and calamities.
As we draw close to the year’s end, it is a good time to ensure that there’s no barrier in our relationship with God.
Isaiah 55:6 says, “Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near. “
Let us therefore fervently begin to seek God with renewed zeal and passion, so as to see His abundant blessings and enjoy restoration in every area of our lives.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to adhere daily to Your Word, so that I can walk in Your ways. I thank You for grace to get rid of every barrier in my relationship with You. Thank You Lord for fresh fire on my prayer altar in Jesus Name.

DAILY READING • Acts 4:1-22; Deuteronomy 19-20; Job 13

Science tells us that the Moon only reflects the light of the Sun in accordance with its orbital position. The shining of the moon at night is the reflection of the sun bouncing off the surface of the moon, appearing to us on Earth as moonlight. So the light we see coming from the Moon at night is an illusion, it is actually the reflected light from the Sun, bouncing off the Moon. This is like flashing a torchlight at a mirror and seeing the reflection elsewhere.
The moon doesn’t have a light of its own, It only borrows from the magnanimous sun, and simply positions itself at a particular angle to the sun and shines. The Moon is actually very dark – like coal, and it doesn’t even glow on its own. Its surface is of a dark grey color. and because of its dark color and bumpy surface, it only reflects about 12% of the light that hits it. Indeed, the moon would have been just a dull orb if not for the sun’s rays. The sun generates the heat and light, while the moon simply positions itself rightly to reflect the sun’s glory.

Just as the moon shines because of its positioning to the sun, for us to shine we must stay rightly positioned to the Son of righteousness. Our shinning is not from us, rather it is from Christ in us, the hope of Glory. The closer we are to the Lord, the more our lives will shine. When Moses stayed long in God’s Presence his face began to shine.
It is through being with God in the place of prayer and intimate fellowship that His glory rubs off on us.

Psalm 34:5 says ‘They looked unto Him and their face was lightened, and they were not ashamed’.

We can never see shame as long as we stay connected to the Lord. He is our source of light and glory. We are guaranteed success in life when we constantly abide in God’s Presence. And one way we do that is through the unending flow of praise from our lips.

Psalm 34:1 says ‘I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth’.

When we bless The LORD at all times, prophecies are fulfilled. When you praise continually, supernatural doors open and chains are broken.
When we turn up our praise, like Hezekiah, we are going to see an increase in our years and Like Jonah, we are going to break out of every fish belly of limitation and bondage and fulfill God’s call. Like Joshua, every Jericho wall of resistance will come tumbling down and we will march into our Promised Land.
This month as we rightly position ourselves in God’s Presence through praise, surely, His glory shall be reflected on us and we will shine among men.

PRAYER: Lord, I choose to praise You at all times, knowing that indeed You are at work in my life.
I thank You for causing me to experience a ‘fearful’ fulfillment of every prophetic word concerning me this year in Jesus Name.

DAILY READING – Acts 3; Deuteronomy 17-18; Job 12

Eric Ramsey is current president of the Conference of Southern Baptist Evangelists and president of Tom Cox World Ministries in Mountainburg, Arkansas. He is an adventurous evangelist who is dedicated to serving unreached people around the world. With the unreached people groups mostly in restrictive countries, Eric Ramsey and his team often face dangerous situations.
On one trip in Asia, they were in a remote area closed to tourists looking for a certain unreached people group.
As they hiked through the jungle, the team noticed a strange sight.
It was a 10,000 kw of electricity going into the mountain. They took a picture of it, but soon realized it was a military establishment. Having been seen on CCTV camera, in about 22 minutes two government military vehicles pulled up and detained the team and placed them in one vehicle. Apparently, they had stumbled upon a munitions facility.
Eric Ramsey hid his cell phone in his boot and managed to get a text off to his wife asking her to pray for them.
His wife immediately got the word out to their prayer network.
In the back of the enclosed paddy wagon traveling down a windy dirt road, one of the men on Ramsey’s team began to experience motion sickness.
Ramsey told their captors they needed to stop before the man threw up in the van.
As they approached an outdoor market they had visited previously, Ramsey asked the driver if they could get down there. Surprisingly, the military driver pulled over and let them out. Even more astonishing, the driver let them retrieve their backpacks. This could be nothing other than an answer to prayers.
Speaking in Pig Latin, the team agreed to meet at a particular spot in 11 minutes. The men scattered through the market while their driver waited at the van for them. Precisely on the appointed time, they met at agreed spot and from there ran into the woods, moving as fast as they could, knowing the military would track them.
Out in the middle of nowhere, the men prayed a bold prayer, asking God to send them a big van that would rescue them.
Few minutes later, a white van suddenly appeared out of nowhere and pulled up next to them.
It was an Australian driving a 12-passenger van.“Hey mates, need a ride?”the man called out to them.
The team could hardly believe their eyes. God had indeed sent them deliverance.
They clambered into the van and eventually made their way to safety.
The team continues to see many such miracles as they coordinate mission projects in 124 countries, winning many souls to Christ, and planting new churches.

We must never give up hope–even when things look their worst, because God is in control!
There are times it may feel like your back is up against a wall and, it seems there is no way you can make it. But you must understand that God is the God of the Impossible. He can and will help you.
In every situation, you can be sure that the faithful God who called you, is able to do it.
God will never put on you more than you can bear. And sometimes, tribulation is only an indication of the grace He has given you to overcome the situation.

Psalm 34:19-20 says ‘Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken..’

Certainly, when God is with us we will not need to fear or become dismayed. He is able to handle whatever comes our way.
There is no night so dark, His light cannot penetrate.
In situations where you don’t know what to do, always trust that God knows what to do. Just turn over the battle to Him through prayer and thanksgiving.
As long as we are sincere in following Him, He will certainly take of us. Whatsoever we desire, no matter how small or big, God is able to accomplish. Divine help is only a prayer away.
As long as you are on the Lord’s side, you are certainly on the winning side.

In Isaiah 41:10 God says ‘Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.’

Certainly, God is too faithful to fail. In every situation just maintain your praise. Stay in faith and keep giving glory to God.
At those times, when everything seems to be contrary and there seems no reason to be thankful, those are the very moments we should offer unto God worthy praise.
Rejoicing and being thankful in everything is God’s will for us. As long as you are praising God, the red sea will never swallow you. The storm will not stop you and the billows will not blow you away.
Today, let us keep blessing the Lord at all times. As we do, we will soon see downpours of favor, blessings, and abundance of God’s signs and wonders.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You that this month, is my season to experience speedy accomplishments and enjoy an overflow of divine abundance. By Your grace what looks impossible to men will become possible in my life in this season in Jesus Name. .
