AUGUST 12; PREPARATION PRECEDES OPEN DOORS.

2 Timothy 2:3-4 ‘Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier..

DAILY READING; Ephesians 4; Ezekiel 8-13; Isaiah 43

William Harrison “Jack” Dempsey was an American boxer who held the world heavyweight title between 1919 and 1926. He was so popular that he drew more million-dollar gates than any prizefighter in history.
Dempsey’s appeal lay in his punching ability: He was very fast in the ring, and often wielded a crushing punch.
However his success was tied to the hours he spent practicing with sparring partners in preparation for his fights.
It was said that Jack Dempsey practiced as if he had to survive being put in a ring with a lion.
He practiced so viciously that he often left his sparring partners limping, and they had to be constantly replaced.
Jack found that sparring partners provided him with tough competitive rounds that prepared him to eventually win his fights.

It is the boxers who subject themselves to hard training that can endure hard fights in the ring without getting knocked out.
When a boxer is being hit hard during training sessions, he knows it is for his own good. And so he endures it, knowing that it is only preparing him to win in the real fight ahead.
Many of the tough things we pass through in life are training sessions that strengthen us to overcome future battles. They are preparing us to step into greater open doors. And opportunity comes to the prepared.
When God opens great and effectual doors for you, you have to be prepared beforehand to overcome the many adversaries that accompany it. .
We prepare ourselves for greater opportunities by learning to turn times of trials into times for spiritual training by going deeper into study of the Word, prayers and worship.
As good soldiers of Christ we must endure, knowing that we are being prepared for something better and greater.

2 Timothy 2:3-4 says ‘Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

Though spiritual training may not seem pleasurable at the moment, in the end it produces better versions of us.
Momentary afflictions are achieving for us a far more eternal weight of glory.
In every trial, let us draw closer to God, and rest upon His promises. Let us never grow weary in well doing, for surely in due season, we shall reap, if we faint not.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to always submit to Your spiritual training. Please grant me the grace to never become weary in well doing. Surely , my due season has come for me to step into greater open doors in Jesus Name. .

AUGUST 11; BUILT UPON THE SOLID ROCK!

Mathew 7: 25 ‘And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.-

DAILY READING; • Ephesians 3; Ezekiel 7, Isaiah 42

In October 2018, Mexico Beach, Florida, was hit by Hurricane Michael.
The hurricane destroyed most of the homes on the beachfront. But amid the Media coverage of this sprawling wreckage, stood out an amazing sight.
In the midst of the devastation and destruction, a three-story building stood tall, largely untouched and gleaming in the sun.
The iconic picture of this house that survived the hurricane soon went around the world.
As many people marveled at its resilience, further media reports revealed that the building had survived because the owners had designed it to high standards. At every point during the building, the owners went above the required code. The Florida state code required that houses be built to withstand 120 mph winds, but the house was built to withstand about 240 to 250 mph winds.
Understandably, the extra steps taken to hurricane-proof the house made building it a bit more expensive. During the construction, the owners had been criticized for spending much money on the building, but in the end it was well worth it. When hurricane Michael struck, flattening and destroying other houses, this house built to high standards survived and stood tall, unscathed, amidst the destruction.

Likewise, the extra mile we go spiritually, to ensure our lives are built upon the solid rock of God’s Word, will always be worth it. When you invest in laying a strong biblical foundation, it will ensure you always survive life’s storms. While others may fall, you will rise and where others may perish, you will flourish.
Our growing spiritually means building our lives on the solid foundation of God’s Word. It means growing spiritual muscles by feeding on the strong meat of the Word. As sons of God, we must indeed pay the extra spiritual price to ensure we are built to last. And this we do through, spending time in fasting, praying, worship, diligent study of Scriptures and obeying the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The time you spend in such spiritual exercises is never wasted. It will ensure you have spiritual strength within you to constantly overcome in life.
Spiritually lazy people who build on shallow foundations of carnality, will in times of challenges, find themselves full of fear and panic.
The truth is that the battles of life have no timetable. Therefore do not wait for trouble to arrive before you begin to seek God fervently. Rather make it a daily habit to deliberately, lay up God’s Word in your heart to ensure strong faith dominates your life. Such solid faith is what will make you an overcomer in every situation, because faith is the victory that overcomes the world.
Building on the rock is the best flood insurance you can invest in. When you’ve built your life on the foundation of Christ, you have nothing to fear. No matter what comes your way, you will always overcome. Indeed when you stand on God’s Word, you can never fall.

PRAYER: Lord please help me to always build my life on the strong foundation of Your infallible Word.. Grant me the grace to pay the necessary price to store up Your Word in my heart. By Your grace, no matter what comes my way, I shall never fall in Jesus Name.

AUGUST 10; PROFITTING THROUGH DIVINE LEADING.

Isaiah 48:17 ‘Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.’

DAILY READING; Ephesians 2; Ezekiel 5-6; Psalm 151

Reinhard Bonnke, is regarded as the father of modern-day crusades in Africa. It is estimated that over 79 million people converted to Christianity as a result of his ministry.
However, just before the take-off of his massive crusades across Africa, Bonnke was a local preacher, who preached to small crowds.
In 1979, while on a street-preaching trip in Botswana, he felt the Lord leading him to rent the National Stadium for a crusade.
By this time, the people who attended Bonnke’s preaching were very few, so he didn’t know how he could fill a stadium. He approached local pastors to assist him to organize the crusade, but they disbelieved his claims of what He said God had told him, and no one was willing to assist him.
Bonnke then decided he would have to depend solely on the Lord to help him.
Bonnke rented an 800-seat town hall and started the crusade. However when only 100 people showed up on the first night, he was disappointed, wondering how he could ever fill a stadium. But that night the power of God erupted in the hall and people received miraculous healing.
As the news of miracles spread, within days the town hall was packed to capacity. From there the crusade moved to the National Stadium, where attendance eventually reached 40,000.
And from then on Bonnke’s ministry continued to see enormous crowds, with manifestations of mighty miracles and power.

Sometimes great achievement starts with crisis. But no matter how rough the road, you have to maintain a winner`s attitude and keep pressing forward.
When God gives you a definite Word, you must be prepared to fight the good fight of faith. People may refuse to help you or be against you, but when God is on your side nothing can stop you. It is only a matter of time before you win.
God is committed to teaching you to profit and leading you by the way that you should go [Isaiah 48:17].
Even if things appear to be just the opposite of what you desire, stand strong in faith and keep giving glory to God. Talk faith in the face of fear, talk strength in the face of weakness, declare health in the face of sickness, speak life in the face of death, talk victory in the face of defeat.
Today, that issue that seems like a great challenge to you is only a test. Don’t give up because things appear not to be working.
Don’t be intimidated by challenges because oftentimes, giants are the first sign that you are on the road to your Canaan.
Always remember that the enemy fights what he fears. The reason why he fiercely resists your progress is to distract you from your divine purpose. But refuse to give up or give in. Continue to diligently seek God’s face through studying the Word, fasting, prayer and praise. It is certainly your season to experience amazing open doors.
As you keep pressing forward by faith, you will soon see each goliath on your way defeated and you will gloriously ascend to your throne this year.

PRAYER: Lord, I praise You for the strength and tenacity You have granted me to keep pressing forward, despite the challenges on my way. I thank You Lord, for Your abundant blessings that are about to overflow my life in Jesus Name.

AUGUST 9; KEYS TO DIVINE HEALING AND WHOLENESS

.

Jeremiah 30:17 (AMP) ‘For I will restore health to you, and I will heal your wounds, says the Lord, because they have called you an outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no one seeks after and for whom no one cares!’

DAILY READING; Ephesians 1; Ezekiel 4-5; Psalm 150

Billy Burke is the president of Billy Burke World Outreach, headquartered in Tampa, Florida. He is also the senior pastor of the Miracle Center World Outreach in Tampa. His healing ministry is founded on his own testimony of an amazing miraculous healing.
When he was 9 years old, Burke was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. After undergoing an unsuccessful operation that left him partially paralyzed, and given three days to live, his grandmother removed him from the hospital against doctors’ orders. She took him to a Kathryn Kuhlman healing service at the First Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
While at this service, Burke was brought to Kathryn Kuhlman who laid hands on him and he was miraculously healed him from the cancer.
This amazing encounter with the power of God greatly impacted Billy Burke. As he grew older he began serving God earnestly and eventually went into ministry. In 1995, he founded the Miracle Center World Outreach and has since been traveling around the world, spreading God’s message of healing and faith.

Jesus’ love and passion to see us made whole took Him to Calvary’s Cross where He paid the ultimate price.
Today, His Blood ensures there can be no irreversible case against a believer.
Even where medical science fails, the power of Christ will always prevail.
Every case brought to Jesus during His earthly ministry, received instant cure.
Matthew 15:30 says, “A vast crowd brought to Him people who were lame, blind, crippled, those who couldn’t speak, and many others. They laid them before Jesus, and He healed them all.”
Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. What He did before, He is doing again today.
If you have been struggling with issues in your health or any other area, of life, don’t give up, rather look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.
God says in Jeremiah 30:17 (AMP) ‘For I will restore health to you, and I will heal your wounds, says the Lord, because they have called you an outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no one seeks after and for whom no one cares!’

No matter how you may have suffered in the past or maltreated by life Christ is able to bring healing and restoration.
He is not unaware of the feelings of your infirmity, He knows every tear you cry and every pain you bear.
For your sake, He has paid the price that ensures affliction never arises a second time in your life. However, the key that open the door to our redemptive blessings is knowledge of God’s Word. God has sent His Word to heal us and deliver us from destruction.
Through in-depth knowledge of God’s Word you can secure your freedom from any affliction.
Today, as we continually appreciate and praise God in anticipation for His many blessings, surely, we will enjoy open doors to, divine health, prosperity and every other blessing destined for us.

PRAYER: Father please help me to begin to live in the consciousness of the redemptive benefits Christ won for me at Calvary. Today, by the Blood of Jesus I claim my victory over everything contesting my glorious destiny in Jesus Name.

AUGUST 8; STAY TRUE TO YOUR CALL!

Proverbs 19:21 ‘There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.’

DAILY READING; Galatians 6; Ezekiel 2-3; Psalm 149

The great 17th-century artist Rembrandt is one of the truly great Christian artists.
Rembrandt was born in 1606 in the Dutch town of Leyden. He grew up immersed in the Bible, which was to shape his art.
As a teenager Rembrandt demonstrated remarkable artistic talent. He quickly acquired a reputation for producing astonishing portraits.
But in later years, Rembrandt’s style was considered to be falling out of fashion as people preferred more elegant, dramatic portraits.
Refusing to compromise, Rembrandt continued to produce paintings, and drawings, often of landscapes and Biblical themes. For Rembrandt the Bible was not just history but very personally relevant. To add to the authenticity of his Bible images, Rembrandt often consulted Jewish rabbis.
Rembrandt died in 1669, leaving behind hundreds of his paintings and drawings which depict his extraordinary talent. Because he stayed true to his passion and refused to compromise, the world is blessed by his amazing paintings which are today, greatly sought after.
Recently in 2022 his masterpiece, The Standard-Bearer was sold to the government of the Netherlands for around $198 million and has since been on special display at museums throughout the country.

When God gives you a vision, you have to be intentional in making the decisions to keep following the path of destiny mapped out for you.
You can’t just follow the popular trends or adapt yourself to what everyone else is doing, no matter how lucrative. The calling upon your life is unique and though it may not seem fashionable or popular today, eventually the glory and beauty will emerge. Though the vision may tarry, wait for it, because in the end it will speak.
When we are doing what we are divinely called to do, doors of destiny will eventually open up to take us to our next levels.
As we refuse to compromise, grace, favor, supernatural opportunities and divine connections will all line up to help us arrive at our preordained place of glory.
The truth is our lives will only find full expression when we are walking in line with Gods purpose.
Frustration, discontentment and confusion only results if we leave God’s plan to follow our own paths. No matter how beautiful our own devices, it is only God’s plan that can stand the test of time.

Proverbs 19:21 says ‘There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.’

The counsel of the Lord will always be superior to our concepts. God’s plans are always better and far greater than what we could ever achieve on our own. His thoughts and ways are higher than our own. When it is the Lord doing a thing, it will always be marvelous in our eyes. This is why we must never allow anything to hinder us from building according to the pattern He has given us.
As we keep seeking God’s counsel through consistent study of the Word, prayers and fellowship with the Spirit, it is only a matter of time before we see the full manifestation of His glorious plans in our lives.

PRAYER
Father, I thank You for granting me the grace to follow Your plan for my life. Please help me to do what is spiritually required of me in order to see Your purpose manifest in my life this year in Jesus’ Name

AUGUST 7; BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING!

Proverbs 11:25: [AMP] ‘The generous man [is a source of blessing and] shall be prosperous and enriched, And he who waters will himself be watered [reaping the generosity he has sown]..”

DAILY READING; Galatians 5:16-26; Ezekiel 1; Psalm 148

Dennis and Dara Aldy are founders of the Turning Hearts Ministry and also the House of Prayer of Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Weekly, Dennis and Dara invest time in their community by pastoring a local church, coaching marriages and families, and mentoring young men and women. They have been doing these for over 25 years.
Their spiritual investments were rewarded when in their own time of need, their community rallied round to pray down a miracle for them.
In 2013, during a Baseball practice, their sixteen-year-old son Jonathan Aldy, suddenly collapsed and his heart stopped beating.
Paramedics arrived ten minutes later and were able to shock his heart to start beating weakly..When he was rushed to the hospital doctors feared the worst because Jonathan had been without oxygen for a 28-minute period which could cause severe damage to his brain.
But Jonathan’s parents believed in the power of prayer. As he lay motionless in the ICU, they constantly anointed him with oil and prayed over him. As the news spread in their city,, many people started non-stop prayer chains for Jonathan.
These intense prayers soon birthed miracles as within days Jonathan woke up from the coma. He so rapidly recovered that within ten days, he was fully alright and discharged to go home. The doctors were astounded by the medical miracle! Despite not breathing for 28 minutes, amazingly, Jonathan had no brain damage. Not only that, within six months, Jonathan returned to an active life of playing baseball and basketball.
His parents were filled with overwhelming gratitude to the Lord for returning their son back to them.

Serving God and being a blessing to people, opens the doors for miracles in our own lives.
When you spend time fighting for others, in the day of trouble, God will raise men to fight for you.
When you dedicate yourself to ministering to others, you will not lack those that will minister back to you.
You don’t have to be a pastor or run a ministry to impact others, you can bless the world around you by doing it—one life at a time.
The Bible tells us that we reap whatever we sow. In other words, what you make happen for others, God will make happen for you.
As believers we are created to be cause-driven. Our blessings are connected to our cause towards lifting the fallen, help the downtrodden and fight for those that can’t fight for themselves.
In Isaiah 1:15-18, God said why sometimes His people make many prayers, and He will not hear is because they need to ‘Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.’ [Verse 17].

The reason many people don’t see miracles is because they’re in-grown. They are focusing only on themselves. The quest to become successful often causes people to become self-seeking focusing only on what they can get from others, instead of what they can give.
But the Bible says it is more blessed to give than to receive.
When you live to give to others, you will never lack miracles. God has in store for you, great open doors, promotions and opportunities. But the key to them is by sowing into others. The next level of your destiny is connected to helping someone else!
Today, as we focus on serving God and blessing men, the Heavens above us will open up and we will reap miracles.of healings, amazing open doors and supernatural supplies.

PRAYER: Lord, please enable me to focus on serving You in every way I can and be a blessing to humanity. As I do, I thank You for the speedy release of my own harvests of miracles in Jesus’ Name.

AUGUST 6; STAY FOCUSED ON GOD

1 Corinthians 3: 18 ‘But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord’.

DAILY READING – Galatians 5:1-15; Lamentations 5; Psalm 147

James Irwin is the 8th man to ever walk on the moon. He was part of the Apollo 15 mission crew, which made the 4th human landing on the moon. He was also the first person to ever ride a lunar cart, or vehicle on the moon.

However while on this mission, James Irwin had an encounter with God that changed his life forever.
While on the moon, he tried to set up an experiment that repeatedly refused to work. Already he and his fellow astronaut, had spent an elongated period of 3 days on the moon, working for an extended period with little rest. Outside their spacesuits, the temperature on the lunar surface was 150 degrees. As a result, James was sweating greatly, and was losing his electrolyte balance, which could trigger a heart attack. The longer they stayed on the moon the more dangerous it became, as chances of a heart attack increased. Frustrated in his attempts to get the experiment to work, James cried out to God. Although he had been raised in a Christian home, he had no real relationship with God, but he realized at this point he really needed God’s wisdom to be able to get the experiment to work. So he said, “God I need your help right now.” As he said the short prayer, suddenly Irwin experienced the presence of Jesus Christ in a remarkable way, unlike anything he ever felt on earth. He was overwhelmed at seeing and feeling God’s presence so close. The Lord showed him the solution to the problem and the experiment was set up and worked perfectly. This unusual encounter with Jesus, from 238,000 miles above earth, changed Irwin’s life.
After his return from the moon, God dropped it in his heart that he had a responsibility to mankind to share the Gospel with everyone. And that was exactly what James did. Within a year of his return from space, he resigned from NASA and formed High Flight Foundation, which is on a quest to reach the world as “goodwill ambassadors for the Prince of Peace.”

As he travelled around preaching the Gospel, he told people that Jesus walking on the earth is more important than man walking on the moon. As James Irwin traveled the world, he presented small flags he carried from the moon to leaders of various countries, using that also as opportunity to share the Gospel.

Indeed nothing matters in this life more than God. When astronauts look at our planet from the outer space it is just like a small blue ball, that is why they call it the ‘blue planet.’

And interestingly, from space one can’t even see the biggest structures on earth. The greatest mansions, best cars or greatest companies are invisible from outer space. To an astronaut looking from up there, everything is just one big blue blur. The things that are considered important on earth, are not even visible from space.

This is why we have to put things in proper perspective and prioritize our relationship with God above all else. The more we look on God the more our lives are transformed to manifest God’s glory on the earth.[1 Corinthians 3: 18]
It is our degree of commitment to seeking God first that determines our ultimate height in the race of life. Destiny is essentially a race of responsibilities. And the utmost responsibility for us is to seek God and His kingdom above everything else.
Maintaining God as your focus is what turns you to a focus among men. When you run after God, things will run after you.
As we decide today, to place our ultimate value on God, surely, He will turn us into a wonder among men.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to focus on You, through diligent study of Your Word, and obedience to Your commands. I know that when I seek You first, then indeed every other thing shall be added unto me in Jesus Name.

AUGUST 5; MAINTAIN YOUR INTEGRITY.

Jeremiah 17:11 [NIV]“Like a partridge that hatches eggs it did not lay are those who gain riches by unjust means. When their lives are half gone, their riches will desert them, and in the end they will prove to be fools.’

DAILY READING; • Galatians 6; Ezekiel 2-3; Psalm 149

In 1994, 33-year-old Vernon Pierce, who claimed he was a former model, went on a wedding spree.
After separating from his legal wife in 1991, Vernon married three separate women from three different states in America.
None of the wives knew about each other. He spread his time among the three women by telling them he was either a salesman, model, or engineer and so had to be away for long periods.
But he actually didn’t have a job and lived off his wives and the women he dated, as they supported him financially.
His web of lies began to untangle on June 13, 1994, when his second wife called the police, asking them to check her husband’s townhouse, because she was worried that he had been away longer than usual. When police officers went to Vernon’s townhouse in the Phoenix suburb, they were surprised to find another woman knocking on the door, claiming to also be his wife. When the confused policemen searched Vernon’s townhouse, they found a 3-by-5-inch index card reading “Who to Marry” indicating he was already plotting to marry yet another wife.
Vernon was later arrested and charged with bigamy.

For Vernon Pierce, marrying as many women as he could in order to have access to their finances appeared a clever scheme, until the bubble burst.
Today, there are many scam artists everywhere who think up fraudulent schemes to exploit people and make money.
The growth of the Internet has led to exponential growth of the scam artist industry as they can reach to people in different nations, attempting to steal their money and identity.
Learning how to protect ourselves from these scammers is now an essential part of life in the modern world.
But according to Jeremiah 17:11 those who make money through fraudulent means are “Like a partridge that hatches eggs it did not lay , when their lives are half gone, their riches will desert them, and in the end they will prove to be fools.’[NIV]
Today, the world applauds those who fraudulently outsmart others to become wealthy.
As believers, God requires integrity in our dealings. We must carefully walk according to Scriptural principles, in order to see greater open doors and breakthroughs.
We must not think that we can get away with bending the rules without braking them, or tell ‘small white lies’ and be okay. Whether a person steals a dollar or a million dollars, he is still a thief.
Proverbs 10:2-3 says ‘Treasures gained dishonestly profit no one, but righteousness rescues from death.’

We must guard against lowering our moral standard because no man can rise above the limitations of his own character. Every time you break a moral principle it becomes harder, to act with integrity.
But as we maintain integrity and refuse to compromise, we shall enjoy stability in our dealings and abound with overflowing blessings.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask for the grace to always maintain integrity and walk in fear and reverence of Your Word in all my dealings. As I do, I thank You for connecting me to my next level and taking me to greater heights in Jesus Name.

AUGUST 4; RUN WITH THE RIGHT FOCUS!

Hebrews 12:2 “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

DAILY READING • Galatians 5:16-26; Ezekiel 1; Psalm 148

Deion “Prime Time” Sanders, is a legendary Hall of Fame football star and an American Baseball hero.
Deion’s focus on sports in his early years saved him from ending up in a life of crime. His parents divorced when Deion was only two years old. Thereafter, Deion was raised by his mother, who was a cleaning woman, in a poor neighborhood in Florida . The street where he lived was mean and rough and there were many opportunities to slip into a life of crime and drugs.
When an older neighbor whom Deion admired was sent to jail for selling drugs, he warned Deion and his friends not to follow his dead-end example. While Deion listened, many of his other friends did not listen to this advice. Some of these friends could run as fast as him in sports when they were kids, but instead of pursuing a career in sports and working for their dreams, they chose a fast life of selling illegal drugs at street corners.
As a boy, Deion became active in sports to avoid the lure of the ever-present drug trade that ensnared many of his friends. He joined a youth league football team and in his high school, he was given the nickname “Prime Time” due to his outstanding sporting skills. He would go on to have a very successful career that led him to global fame and wealth. Later in his life, Deion had a dramatic encounter with Christ that led to his salvation. Today he is very outspoken about his faith and credits God for his success and giving him the right focus early in life.

Truly it takes God’s grace to win life’s race.
There are many temptations and pitfalls that can capture a person’s interest and derail their destiny. This is why it’s important to keep your eyes single on your mission and refuse to cut corners or do what other people are doing. God has a special purpose for your life, therefore you cannot afford to live like everyone else.
When professional runners are on the race track, they have their mind focused on one thing: the finish line.
In a fast-paced, demanding world, full of lures and temptations, we must keep focused on where God is taking us to.
As believers, we cannot afford to deviate from God’s call. It can be tempting to seek shortcuts and compromises; but it can all end in pain and disappointments.
The truth is that if you play today, you will pay tomorrow. while the wide and broadway may be seductive, it can lead to dead ends and destruction.
The strait and narrow way may seem hard initially, but it is the road that leads to life and blessings.
No matter how hard the journey, don’t sell out, don’t give up, keep focused on your goal.
Though your beginning may seem small and obscure, be assured that your later end shall be great and glorious.. Surely, God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
Today, let us receive the grace to run our race without deviation, looking unto Jesus the Author and finisher of our faith.
As we walk in obedience to God’s Word, it is only a matter of time before we begin to experience amazing open doors and see the manifestation of His wonderful plans and purposes for our lives.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for the grace to keep my focus on the race before me, and not be derailed by the distractions around me. Please help me to make Your plan and purpose always top priority in my life in Jesus Name.

AUGUST 3; ESCAPING HINDRANCES AND LIMITATIONS!

Matthew 19:26 ‘But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.’

DAILY READING –Galatians 5:1-15; Lamentations 5; Psalm 147

Semyon Rozenfeld was 18 years in 1941 when he was captured because he was Jewish and sent to the Sobibor death camp where Jews were being murdered in the holocaust. On arrival, Rosenfeld first escaped death in the gas chambers by claiming to have carpentry skills.
In the camp those who had any skill that would be useful to the Nazis were kept alive, while the rest were killed.
But a month later these skilled Jewish prisoners realized that once they outlived their usefulness, they would also be executed by the Germans, so they began to work on a plan of escape.
On 14 October 1943, the prisoners revolted and about 600 of them stampeded for the perimeter fences and many managed to flee into the forest around the camp. However, some of the prisoners refused to escape and stayed back because they were too afraid of the repercussions of being caught and thought the risk was too high.
The uprising became the largest escape from a prison camp of any kind in Europe during World War II and as a result of it, Sobibor was immediately closed. But before closing Sobibor, the German camp officials shot those Jewish prisoners who had stayed back out of fear.
But some of those escaped prisoners, such as Semion Rosenfeld eventually went on to live meaningful lives. Semion Rosenfeld lived on to the ripe age of 96, and received many awards during his lifetime before dying in June 2019 as the last known survivor of the uprising at the death camp at Sobibor.

It has been said that the biggest risk in life is not taking any risk at all. Living with fear stops people from taking bold steps to escape the barriers and limitations imposed on them. But when we live with faith, we become unstoppable because we know that with God all things are possible.
Sometimes, there are problems and situations that may appear inescapable.
But be assured that with God, you have what it takes to escape every barrier and limitation.
Perhaps in the past months you have tried to rise to greater heights, only to be confronted by complex challenges and as a result your mind has become conditioned to think, you can never achieve your goals this year.
But Mark 10:27 says ‘for with God all things are possible” Through faith in God, you can escape those reoccurring problems that have been dragging you back in your finances, health and relationships etc .
Don’t limit your thinking by what outward circumstances may look like right now. Don’t think your dreams can’t come true because of what looks like prison walls around you now. Remember that “we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7)
Look into God’s Word and claim His promises that whatsoever you do shall prosper.
In Genesis 13:14-15 God told Abraham that as far as his eyes could see would be given to him.
Likewise today also, as far as your eyes can see in God’s Word will surely be given unto you.
As you continue to stand in faith and give all glory to God, you will overcome every barrier and step into greater realms of exploits.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for breaking every barrier and limitation in my life in this new month. By Your surpassing grace upon my life, I will continually be victorious in Jesus Name
