Rasheedat Ajibade, captain of Nigeria’s Super Falcons, is widely known—not just for her football prowess, but for her bold, public devotion to Jesus Christ. Often seen wearing T-shirts that declare “Jesus is King” or “With God, all things are possible,” Rasheedat unapologetically honors her faith on and off the pitch and has won the love of many, especially Christians.
During the 2025 WAFCON final against Morocco in Rabat, the Super Falcons faced what looked like a crushing defeat. By halftime, Nigeria was trailing 0–2. The crowd roared for the home team, and the pressure was intense. But Rasheedat didn’t panic—she prayed, encouraged her teammates, and kept her eyes on God.
In a dramatic second-half comeback, Nigeria scored three stunning goals, clinching their 10th WAFCON title. It was a miraculous turnaround few believed possible. Yet what happened after the match was even more powerful: Rasheedat led her team in a spontaneous praise session,h lifting songs to God right there on the field, in full view of millions watching around the world.
Her story is a modern-day reminder that honoring God—even under pressure—never goes unrewarded. It brought inspiration, boldness, and an undeniable display of God’s glory through sports.

When we honor God we are blessed by His eternal principle in 1 Samuel 2:30 which says—”Those who honor Me, I will honor.” We live in a culture where many shy away from displaying their faith publicly, especially in competitive spaces. But God is looking for those who will honor Him boldly, both in the secret and in the open.
Psalm 89:7 says God is greatly to be feared and held in reverence by all who are around Him. Reverence isn’t reserved for Church services—it belongs in stadiums, boardrooms, classrooms, and every sphere of influence. When we lift Jesus above our titles and talents, He lifts us into places of lasting impact.
When you truly honor God, Isaiah 61:7 promises double honor in the very places where shame once threatened you. God rewards bold faith with undeniable lifting.
No matter where life has placed you, your platform is an altar. Use it to honor the King of kings. When you choose reverence over relevance, God will elevate you in ways the world can’t explain.
This month, let us determine to stand unashamed for Jesus. As our words, choices, and lifestyle reflect Heaven’s glory, certainly we shall be rewarded with honor, promotions, inexplicable victories and amazing miracles.

PRAYER:
Lord, thank You for the reward that follows those who honor You. Help me to live boldly and reverently for You, both in public and in private. As I seek to reflect Your glory I bless You for lifting me to unprecedented realms of success in Jesus’ Name.
