Psalm 28:7-8 ‘The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.’

Hilary Hinton “Zig” Ziglar was an author, and motivational speaker, who was well known around the world.
In 1947, when he was 21years old, Ziglar began working as a salesman and later ventured into motivational speaking.
His first book, ‘See You at the Top,’ was written soon after he committed his life to Christ. As a baby Christian, he didn’t know much Scriptures, but as he wrote the book , he prayed a lot seeking God’s help and guidance.
Through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit he was able to share deep truths in the book that greatly blessed people.
Though the book was initially rejected 39 times by publishers, Ziglar persisted in prayers and it was eventually published and became a great success.
The book was so much in demand that it was reprinted over 60 times. Ziglar engaged the same secret of fervent prayers with his consequent books, he wrote over 30 books and each one enjoyed great success. Many of his books have been translated into 40 different languages and dialects.
Ziglar said that when he started out as an author, he had average intelligence and was not very smart. But through engaging the help of the Holy Spirit, whom he calls ‘ The Greatest Teacher of all time” he gained wisdom and understanding that made his books to become outstanding.

Indeed we require prayer investments to enjoy open doors in our endeavors.
Before Jesus began His earthly ministry, He first embarked on a season of prayers and maintained the discipline of constant prayers, the result was that within 3 and half years, He became the talk of the world.
Knowing the great difference the Holy Spirit can make, Jesus commanded His disciples to tarry in prayers, until endued with power from on high, before stepping out into ministry.
Our endeavors must first be established in the spirit through prayers, because the spirit realm controls what happens in the physical realm.
Many endeavors fail, because people try to build without laying strong emphasis on a spiritual foundation.
But the man who builds on the sand, trusting on the arm of flesh, without laying his foundation on the rock of God’s Word, will find that his house falls when the wind, rain and storm comes. Because of the great adversaries that resist our open doors, a lifestyle of constant prayers indeed becomes necessary to deal with them.
It doesn’t matter how smart, educated, or hard working a believer may be, without divine backing, all his efforts will eventually come to naught. Because except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it and except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.[Psalm 127:1]. Truly, it is not by power nor by might, but by the Spirit of God.
It is the Holy Spirit that opens doors of blessings for us that no man can shut.
In this season, as we keep sowing the seeds of prayer and keep praising God, certainly mountains will move, walls of resistance will fall and all things will indeed work together for our good.

PRAYER: Lord, please strengthen me to continue to pay the required price of spiritual fervency so as to see the soon manifestation of my greater open doors in Jesus’ Name.
