Isaiah 55:11 (KJV):
“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”

David Winans started life disadvantaged. He was born outside of wedlock in 1934 to a mother who was a singer. After his birth, his father denied paternity, and his mother was left to raise him alone. Eventually, his paternal grandfather, Isaiah Winans, who was a pastor, took him in and brought him up in the church.
David followed in his mother’s footsteps into music and occasionally sang with Gospel bands. Later, David married and became a pastor. Things were financially tough as the couple raised ten children on a meager income, but David and his wife held on to God’s Word. They raised their family in the church, where the children exhibited great musical talent. The Winans recorded their first album in 1983 and gained public acclaim.
Today, few families have been as influential in the development of Gospel music as the Winans family. Prominent among them is CeCe Winans, the best-selling and most-awarded female gospel artist of all time. As the patriarch of the family, David “Pop” Winans enjoyed great honor and acclaim until his death in 2009.
The story of David Winans teaches us that man’s rejection cannot stop God’s projection for your life. If you are going to become all God has created you to be, you cannot let setbacks or disappointments stop you. You may get knocked down, but do not get knocked out. No matter what life throws your way, get back up and keep marching forward.
This new month of March is our season to march into greater exploits through the power of God’s Word.
In Isaiah 55:11, God says the Word that goes forth out of His mouth shall accomplish its purpose. That will be our portion in this new month. As we trust in God, His Word concerning us will be accomplished speedily, and nothing will stop its manifestation.
As children of God, we have victorious destinies because Christ causes us to triumph always (2 Corinthians 2:14). Therefore, no matter the challenges before you today, keep your focus on God’s Word, which is the source of overcoming faith. God’s Word births pictures of victory within us, and as we hold on to those inner pictures, they will eventually manifest as our outward reality. This is how the Word becomes flesh in our lives.
In this new month of March, it is your season to march forward. Refuse to be discouraged by any negative condition. Keep holding on to God’s Word, because very soon it will take you from zero to hero and turn your battles into blessings.
PRAYER:
Lord, I know that with You nothing shall be impossible. Please help me to focus on Your Word as I step forward into this new month. I praise You for causing me to triumph always and for working everything together for my good, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
